Slowly he nodded along as the girl spoke.

Taki made some good points, and mention of Haruka made his eyes roll. Couldn't remember the last time someone rubbed him the wrong way that quickly... but at least he wasn't special in being hated. Allegedly. "Shakar, huh?" He mused aloud. Perhaps it was something he could look into more on his own time as well. Always intel to gather. Knowledge to acquire.

Persuasion still wasn't exactly his forte but if he had no choice... he supposed he could dust off an old character for this purpose. Man did he hate acting though. "More apes?" His question would come as he closed his eyes. Last time they had trained he ended up with a baby primate in his lap. Uemon was curious to see what she cooked up this time. Threads glowing a subtle blue color sprouted from his fingertips and slithered across the floor, attaching to his puppets in the corner. As the dogs approached he listened. "A game of hide-and-seek..." He thought, almost cracking a smirk. It was a good way to see how far his abilities had come. And an even better way to shake off any rust from not having utilized his sensing for a few days.

Forming the Tora hand seal to help him focus his chakra for a moment he took a deep breath. "Alright..." In the blackness that was his mindscape several signatures appeared to him after focusing for only a few moments. "Getting quicker." He thought. Certainly a far cry away from a full day of trying. Allowing his hands to rest at the ready in front of him he began to command his hounds forward... only to find the both of them flung with much force in opposite directions. "Woah." He said, keeping his eyes closed as his fingers moved to level the canines out mid-air. They both came to a sliding halt several meters away and he sighed in relief. "Not trying to break my puppets again, are you?" Between her and Himari busting them up it was surprise they were repairable at all. Luckily he could fix them... barring obliteration of course. 

Wasting no time his hands began to move, orchestrating the marionettes to hone in on their targets. As always there was distinct fuzzy disruption coming from the real Taki's direction which made things harder... but it also meant it was better practice. Several times his puppets were shot off into varying directions but with some quick adjustments he mostly managed to get them to land on their feet. "What is that?" He wondered... from touch alone it didn't seem like they were being struck. But tactile sensations worked differently via string.

A determined expression took hold on his face... this was going to be harder than he expected.

As the boy would denote the name Shakar he sounded like he hadn’t heard about it, which was relatively similar to how she felt about it but that was a discussion for later. He wondered if she had more apes in mind but after the lights went out it would seem like he got the idea. Taki herself couldn’t exactly see what was going on but figured that perhaps if she wanted to keep a keen eye on him in the darkness and kept herself relatively quiet meditating as she stood on the second railing hearing his question but thankfully had her clones to answer for her in unison no less. "Break ya puppets? Me…Nah?” the sound of the 4 Taki’s resonated throughout the room. After a brief moment the boy would be blasted back his puppets getting sent flung along.

"Ya like dhose fuinjutsu barriers puppet boy?” the clone from the rooftop would say. "Eyy, shut up dummy if ya keep tawlkin he’s gonna find us by da sound.” another clone would say chastising the other mouthy clone on the roof from her spot in the corner. "I mean unless da puppets can see in da dark?” another would say, form it's spot underneath the second level platform. "Hey yeah I hadn’t thought o dat…?” another clone that was near the ground would say as it rubbed it’s head.

"Is dis really wat it feels like dealin wit me…?” the true Taki would wonder in her own mind, in doing so she’d craft a handseal and create a small barrier cutting her off from the sounds of her chatty clones who eventually fall silent to make sure she had room to meditate so she could better track Uemon’s progress with her own sensory techniques.

"I might as well get in some practice myself.” for the time being the girl would mediate whilst Uemon needed to make his way through the dark maze to out the clones on her own, the sounds of the voices would give some clue but with the echo from the large room itself it prove to be more of a hindrance than a help.

However the barrier itself only allows for one turn of still meditation before breaking. This barrier provides absolute silence and also deprives the user of sight as well and resembles a large black box, and is about as durable as hardened steel and can withstand a moderate amounts of damage before breaking.

Hands moved back and forth, pulling chakra threads as his hounds darted around the darkened gym at a faster pace.

Uemon nearly snickered at her comment about his puppets. "Sure..." He said. If his eyes weren't already closed he probably would have rolled them. Unless he was losing it her voice sounded like it was coming from multiple directions... and that's when it him. "Clones." It was all starting to make sense. Focusing more closely on the chakra signatures he was could actually feel that they were similar to one another. Unless the Okada girl was a quadruplet these were definitely bunshins.

One of the duplicates mentioned something about barriers and he arched an eyebrow. "Fūinjutsu, hm..." One of the trickier ninja arts. And a type of jutsu he didn't have much experience with himself. Perhaps something to look into further. Bringing his hands together again in a Tora seal he attempted to focus on his sensing. Along with the clones' multiple shouts he did his best to triangulate the doppelgangers positions using their chakra signatures as a guide. "There you are." A furrowed brow followed as he pointed to the clone on the floor, a few dozen feet away. "Got you." A flick of his finger caused In's mouth to open as five senbon shot from within her mouth towards the clone. As this happened his other hand moved in a swiping motion, as Yō leapt towards the bunshin from the side and would attempt to rend the clone if it moved. All of this was done without sight do his accuracy was likely to be off, but with the wide area of attack from the needles and the claw strike he hoped the blows would land true and find their target.

Time would tell... and even if it did connect there were three others to hunt down. Now to see if he was successful.

As the girl would finish her meditation she’d emerge with her sage mode transformation having made some slightly significant strides, the hair on her body was mostly gone save for a few select places with a red shadowing around her eyes, her pupils looking vastly more human with the pupil resembling that of a gorilla. It was clear the time she was spending away from the gym was doing wonders for her, but she still had a good deals worth of work to do before she had it mastered.

Whilst this went on the girl would track Uemon’s movements starting with his chakra infused puppets that would fire off senbon towards one of the clones, she can’t see but would feel the wind wisp by her from the senbon that made contact. The clone would check her foot, to see what hit her. "Son of a…” after a brief few seconds the clone would have a bite taken out of it and poof out of existence.

"Holy shit, I tink he got one!” the clone on the ceiling would say "Shhh!” the clone n the corner would call out. Taki herself would smirk at the thought glad to see that he was getting the hang of it, the question was could he get the other 3, only time would tell. As this went on Taki focused her sensory to allow herself to be able to distinguish things a bit better honing in on Uemon his puppets and even the chakra coming from the seals that the clones had placed on the ground viewing them in slightly more finite detail then normal. "Keep it up.” the girl would think to herself.

Not even for a moment did his concentration falter, even at the clones' somewhat humorous reactions.

One down. "Three to go." He thought, fingers manipulating the threads as his hounds readjusted and moved towards the duplicate further away. From what he remembered of the gym's layout it seemed to be atop a viewing platform. If his budding sensory ability wasn't leading him astray, that is.

Tricky to reach with all these seals lying around... but with some trial and error his puppets should be able to find it.

Using Yō to lead the way he had In follow close behind. Anytime the black wolfdog was launched away from a seal, its sibling would jump over the fūinjutsu barrier or move around, making progress slower than he hoped but somewhat efficient. Once the hound was near enough Uemon's finger flicked, causing the white canine's left foreleg to fold open revealing a hidden Shuriken Launcher. It's other three legs were used to crouch and jump, the puppeteer doing his best make sure In was level with the signature before shooting five shuriken at it. Rather than having Yō attack like before, he waited to see if the clone would move, then had In jump again and launch the remaining five shuriken at it hoping to catch it off guard.

Now empty the hound's leg closed with another flick of his finger. Uemon commanded it to turn and face its head towards the ceiling. "Thanks for the help." He said, a half smirk emerging as he pointed towards the signatures above and had the hound shoot a hail of ten senbon from its mouth in an arc. Something told him these two might attempt to dodge so he would do his best to track them if they did, focusing on one and trying to time its tempo to shoot another five senbon at it whenever it paused to readjust. Not being able to see made this all the more tricky... and Taki's large chakra signature and anti-sensory static provided interference even at a distance.

Hoping to take at least two of the clones out he waited to see their reactions. Keeping the strings tense, he remained ready. It seemed he was indeed improving... but how fast?

Whilst the girl remained in her meditative state she’d hone in on Uemon as well as her clones. "Hey uhh…a little guidance goes a lawng way ova dere…” one of the clones would say calling out to the real Taki who was busy meditating but just before the click of the leg of the puppet would open itself up, Taki would trace the chakra of the creature as it prepared to fire and then call out to the clone. "Corner side…left…” she’d call out the clone hearing that would make a swift step to avoid the senbon that had come its way.

"Corner side…right!” the clone who seemed to be reveling in it’s accomplishment would hear the next set of instructions. "Wait he did it agai–” poof the clone would once again vanish into a cloud of smoke, and now there were only two more. And Uemon quickly got to work with dispatching them with as much as haste as he could, firing off 10 senbon towards them in an arc. Both clones were together on the ceiling at this point and Taki would give them directions to move. "Jump!” the girl would say to the two clones would manage to make some room and get themselves out of the way.

However with her sage mode running on a timer the boy would need to be crafty about how he could take advantage of that in order to try and snare the clones in the dark, the question is could he do it before Taki ran out of energy, her sensory was superior but the clones were still at a disadvantage in a sense.

Taki's commentary, clone or not, was about the closest thing to entertainment he ever seemed to get.

As tugged on his chakra threads his mouth pursed to the side a bit. "Isn't that cheating?" A call out in the dark to the real Taki. Sure he had his hounds, but they unfortunately had no consciousness of their own at all. An issue when it came to coordination since it was only his one mind at the helm. 

Feeling one of the duplicate's signatures disappear he smirked slightly. "And then there were two..." Sure he hadn't dispatched them as quickly as he liked, but that was to be expected. They might have been clones, but they were clones of Taki. Formidable in their own right and a whole lot quicker and stronger physically than himself or his dogs. Both of the remaining duplicates were on the ceiling and that meant he was going to have to get tricky. Orchestrating like a mad man he moved his hands in a blur, both of the dogs leaping to either wall of the gym and running up them. Funneling chakra through the threads allowed them to defy gravity much like a shinobi could by focusing it to the soles of their feet. Uemon's fingers moved endlessly as the creatures moved to the ceiling.

Once in place? it was time. "Duality: Revolution" Ninja Wire unspooled from both puppets' hind legs as they dashed in a large circle around the two signatures. Both dogs seemed a haze of black and white as they began Duality: Revolution a technique Taki might recognize as one he'd used against Himari. Attempting to ensnare both clones in a haze of wire before swiftly dashing apart "Stay right there for me." With a flick of his finger reels activated to retract the wire at high speed. In one fell swoop he was hoping to pull the clones together and slice them apart cleanly... but it was only hope.

Something told him clones of Taki wouldn't go down without a fight... but more importantly, he could feel them. Keep this up and he might just make a half decent Sensor Type yet.

DESCRIPTION:
Both of Uemon's wolfdog puppets deploy ninja wire from their hind legs, circling their target in opposite directions with incredible speed in an attempt to bind them. Once successfully captured all it takes is a simple flick of the finger from their puppeteer to cause the wire mechanisms to pull taut and begin reeling in. Within seconds this can slice deeply into the victim and ultimately cut clean through them if not escaped from in time. On the other hand this does leave the dogs anchored to the target and can place them in a less than ideal situation if the intended victim is able to either not be cut or muscle them around via the wires.

Necessary for his Puppet Ninjutsu and applicable to his other techniques, Uemon has trained extensively in order to mitigate the amount of chakra he uses with his techniques. Compensating for his average chakra reserves this allows him to stay in the fight that much longer.

PUPPETMASTER - INTELLIGENCE

A natural strategist with a quick mind, Uemon is always observing even in the midst of combat. This allows for him to find gaps and weaknesses in his opponent's techniques easier than some, and allows him to formulate strategies and deceptions to take advantage of these shortcomings. His knack for tactics cues him on which approach should work best depending on his target.

ASHIZUKAI WORK - SPEED

Honed after years of fighting and training in Jujitsu with samurai as a child in the Land of Iron, Uemon is surprisingly light on his feet and his hand-to-hand strikes are faster than most expect. Able to strike and weave with deft swiftness he is capable of holding his own against Taijutsu specialists of his rank and outright overwhelming those of lower ranks in a straight up slugfest.

As the girl would keep her focus on him to try and guide her clones she’d hear him say "Isn’t that cheating?” Taki would chuckle as his comment calling abc to him. "Ain’tcha eva hoid da term playin da heel.” she’d joke with him. As the two clones kept their wits about them, they seemed to sweating a tad. "Aw’right so I think if we just follow instruction we should be able to dodge em no problem.” the girl would say. As this went on Taki would notice that instead of employing something simple he’d opt to take advantage of his puppets a more complex manuever the chakra strings were hard to track as were their movements she could tell they were going towards her clones but the 3 dimensional space was a bit difficult to properly deduce.

"Is he…” after a moment Taki would call out. "Split up you two!” the clones would attempt to jump but even as the furthest clone was out of her reach it’d find its legs ensnared whilst the first clone closest to the clones was captured with ease. Suffice to say Taki was thoroughly impressed by his ability to do that without the ability to actively see anything. With that she’d call out to him. "Turn em up!” When the lights returned Uemon might notice that the girls transformation looked much different from last time. The animalistic features were still present in her teeth but her eyes looked softer and there were marking beginning to form underneath her eyes merging with her usual face paint and leaving a mark underneath her forehead he might notice as it was partially obscured under her hat, she certainly didn’t look like this prior.

However before he’d get a chance to get a good look at her the girl would call out too him. "You did dat shit without bein able to see and nothing but sensory!?” the girl was like a kid in a candy store or in her case a kid at a wrestling event she remembered the technique from her fight with Himari and made her way down extending out her hand as if to give him a rather brisk high five if he accepted it the clap would reverberate throughout the loud hollow room and she’d pull him in for a quick hug with one of her arms before letting him go his head partially colliding with her chest. "Dat is so badass man, I’d say ya sensory is comin alawng just fine.” the girl would remark.

Eyes still closed, Uemon frowned a bit.

Did he know what a Heel was? "Know it? I play it." Of course he despised acting, but he still gave it his best shot. At least when he went up against Himari. Performing was something he wasn't necessarily bad at... just disliked.

In a whirl of movement his hands moved, directing his hounds in a symphony of hidden weaponry and fast movement. Good thing these were just clones. He'd probably never catch the real Taki off guard quite like this. By this point she had seen most of his techniques, which normally would worry someone as cautious as him. Perhaps unsurprisingly he still had a few tricks up his sleeve. Almost always did. And with the ideas he had gained over the past few months... more were sure to come. For his plans he needed an army. A few animals weren't enough.

Soon he had the doppelgangers on the ropes. Quite literally. In a haze they were entangled by his wires. A pair of Taki clones dangling haplessly from the ceiling. "Look at that..." He said, opening his eyes as the lights were turned on. "Two of a kind." A half attempt at a joke. As the real one made her way towards him he could clearly see her form had shifted. Similar to that first mission they had undertaken what now seemed like so long ago. But it was... different this time. More refined? He wasn't too sure. Sage mechanics weren't his area of expertise but it seemed like she was improving too. A near smirk emerged as she remarked about his feat, his eyes moving upwards to check out his handiwork. "Yeah, I guess I did." Glancing to her and softly slapping her outstretched hand he nodded. "Thanks, coach." Uemon flicked his fingers, directing his dogs down from the ceiling and retracting their wires but he was promptly grabbed in a one-armed hug and found his cheek into something soft. "Mmph... couldn'ta dunit myshelf." Face partway smushed he couldn't speak all that well, but he got the general sentiment across.

A bit of color bloomed on his face as she let go, his eyes drifting off to the side. It had been a successful training session. Needed some fine tuning... but it was almost battle ready. Now that they were done it was back to intel gathering. Tracking down intel. Planning for new creations. So much to do, so little time. "If I get a line on that court official, you should come with." He said, his hounds heeling nearby. "You know... if you want to." Taki had her own plots to plots, but he could always use the help. More numbers, the better the odds. And if this man was anything like he suspected him to be... he would not be an easy target at all. The hardest of them all, maybe

As the girl pulled him from her chest, he would thank her. "Hey…I didn’t do much just ya know gave ya some encouragement.” she’d say smiling too him. "I’m proud of how well you took to awl a dis.” She saw a bit of a blush on his face from getting a face of her, she didn’t mean it intentionally but she can’t help that he’s short.

Before the girl headed off he’d make a remark about getting some information on some new for them to track down for his own personal vendetta, his words would trail off after a moment asking her to come only if she wanted too, the girl would look to him with excitement. "O’ course I wanna come.” the girl would say, but she partially knew where he was coming from. "I just always got a lot going on, but don’t tink for a second dat, I ain't got your back.” the girl would say, her words were probably cheap but it was true.

He was always on her mind in one way or another but the girl had to juggle training her kids, her work as a Jounin and helping out around the gym, really the only time she ever really had any free time was now and she was using to help him and her family out by choice. "Ya know I oughta introduce you to my kids, den you'll see why my hands are always full, Yuki’ll love you.” the girl would say referring to one of her students. She didn’t really talk about them too often but had also realized she never mentioned them to him, she called them her kids since they were both orphans and she was like a surrogate sibling to the two of them and with him knowing her unfamiliarity with the male form surely he'd know that she wasn't their mother.

With that the girl would head off. "Now if’n you’ll excuse me I’ve gotta hit da showers but come by my room layta we’ll talk.” the girl would say, last time she invited him upstairs it didn’t exactly end well, it ended great in fact. But with the boundaries the two had set in place it was safe to say those days might be over…for now.

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body and overall Taijutsu prowess increase exponentially most notably her grip strength allowing her to take hold of someone with a painful amount of power amplifying her already proficient ability to grapple with an opponent making it significantly harder to be broken out of as well a deal a considerable amount of damage.

✤ Gorilla Press [Natural Taijutsu]

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

✤ The Immovable Force [Durability]

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.

A small nod followed her words.

"I appreciate it." It wasn't too often that he heard someone say they were proud. Gave him a nostalgic feeling, a bit. Of his travels with his mentors. Though theirs was definitely a different kind of relationship.

Uemon listened diligently as he usually did. She told him that she had his back and he gave a slow nod. "Thanks."  Sure hoped so... but words were one thing. Actions another. It wasn't that he doubted her intentions or anything but it was the outcome he was most concerned with. Training was fine. Working for money was alright. But he needed to take some real steps towards his goal. Soon. To him, it was paramount. More than anything else. Anyone.

At the mention of kids his eyebrow raised just slightly. "Kids?" Young mothers weren't unheard of or anything... but Taki never seemed much like the maternal type. Curious. "Maybe... yeah." He responded, his face turning a bit blank. Almost humorously so. "Kids kind of... stress me out." Made him very uncomfortable, more like. Too noisy. Rambunctious. Energetic. So tiring. Only met one he didn't mind being around... and that was mostly because the child reminded him of himself. For a moment his thoughts turned to the boy. Wondered how he was?

There were other thoughts too. About his mission. Something he needed to do... and a thing that couldn't wait much longer at all. Taki excused herself and Uemon nodded. "I actually have some work to finish... but I'll catch up with you later, Taki." The wanderer gave a weak smile and set off for his room. Time wasn't infinite. Moves needed to be made. As he walked his face turned stern. Thinking of the best way to go about things. More he thought about it, the more he was sure there wasn't an ideal method. But ultimately, the means mattered little.

It was the ends he dwelled on. Always the ends. Returning to his room he pulled his chair out and got to work drafting a letter. Soon he'd have to leave once more. Of course he still planned on helping... but in the meantime?

A matter of honor needed attending to.
