Damn. Attending the Chūnin Exams was one thing, and meeting Ahma midway was another thing. Now… he was back. Back home again. In one piece, but… sad. Very sad. Who wouldn’t be sad? A lot was at stake back in Kuwana, and while Kojirou survived - thank goodness – Atagi… lost a lot more than just some energy. Honestly, even though the swordsman was relieved to be back home again, something felt so goddamn heavy deep in his chest… as if he had failed big time. Like, huge time.

But his family were more supportive than even he expected. Apparently, failure was but a stepping stone to getting stronger – one would think that the Honō would be more furious at the lack of display from one of their Lava Release users, but there was plenty of room for growth. Kojirou could wait with the promotion to Chūnin.

... He needed to be faster. And it reminded him of a very cheerful Futago who was definitely way faster than him – maybe she had a trick up her sleeve that she could share with a fellow Kusa-nin, maybe? Perhaps? Mayhaps?

Thus, that was why Kojirou strolled across the simple streets of Kusagakure on his way towards the Futago residence. He’d never actually been inside before, but surely they’d be guest-friendly enough to allow him entrance.

So many buildings here in Kusagakure were alike. It was no wonder that the swordsman got lost, bumping into a pole next to a dango shop. "I'm not getting anywhere like this... what would Atagi do? Maybe train harder?"

The twins had heard the news of the chunin exam participants coming back from the exams and this meant there would be an opportunity to have a little fun with them. Saito, unlike his brother Kaito, wanted to play a little prank on one of those participants. An Hono clan member, the rival clan, had suffered hardships in the exam so why not make things a little more frustrating for him? Saito was ready to mess with the young boy's hair and even maybe give his outfit a new styling! With help from his brother Kaito, the two were able to get their hands on their weapons. Saito's was a bit easier since a majority of them were hidden in his bracers, but his Sakabato was a different issue. It was under lock and key, but luckily he had some lockpicks and with Kaito keeping watch he was able to unlock the case both his and his brother's weapons were stashed and get them out.[break][break]

They wouldn't have too long with these weapons as someone would notice them carrying weapons made for shinobi who were genin and not academy students so preparing for the attack was certainly not in their favor. Luckily for them, the victim of their ire was just outside their clan compound! Once spotted Saito would yell, "Charge!" Rushing forward, as he was the faster of the two brothers due to his weight training, he would reach Koji first and attempt to grab the luscious locks of the Hono boy and give him a nice haircut!
