After joining the ANBU, Izumi gained the moniker of Tsubame, which became her official name when acting for the village's black ops.

APPEARANCE

Izumi has extremely long and raven hair which drops to floor-level; towards the bottom her hair is plaited into big braids that are tied off by a bandage-like band. Her hair-strands curve towards the left-side of her face and she has mid-length hair which is plaited and tied by a smaller bandage-band resting on her left shoulder. She has big, expressive hazel eyes, and fine features on her face. Her skin is also rather pale. She also has a curvaceous body with rather large breasts.

『 NINJA ATTIRE 』

Her outfit consists of a revealing ruby-red corset which reveals her midriff and the top half of her breasts. The red corset has an insignia visible below the belt which it hinders below. The same belt rests of her hip and above her torn, black jean trousers, which now look like shorts. The jean trouser has a chain, multiple belts wrapped around her right leg and a few which spiral towards the lower half of her left. Over her corset, she wears a black jacket in the form of a robe with red-velvet lacing; the jacket is ripped towards the bottom and is tightened towards her chest by the belt.

She wears protective armour on her footwear as well as one extra armour plate on her right shin. She wears the same armour in the form of an arm protective gauntlet which rests above the same material as her coat; the material arches its way up to and wraps around her middle finger, highlighted by a rhombus-shaped piecing. Her left arm is wrapped and bandaged up because of terrible scars she has there.

『 ANBU ATTIRE 』

When on ANBU duty, her attire consists of a black full-body jumpsuit that covers her entire body, including their hands and feet. The jumpsuit has a high collar and a zipper down the front. Over the jumpsuit, Tsubame wears a black armored vest that provides protection in combat. The vest has the distinctive symbol of the Hidden Cloud on the back.

The ANBU's face is completely covered by a black mask with a stylized lightning bolt design. The mask has a slit for the ANBU's eyes, which are red in colour. To complete the outfit, Tsubame wears black gloves and black boots with metal plates on the toes and heels for added durability and traction.

PERSONALITY

Originally, Izumi was a kind and family-oriented girl, but the traumatic events of the Plague turned her into a vengeful woman fueled by hate. Since the slaughter caused by the Plague, Izumi's life has changed, and she has locked away her carefree heart. Now, all that remains of her is a dark and gloomy character who will do anything to achieve her goals. Because of her hatred and revenge, she alienated herself from others, and she feels lonely in life, continuously facing conflicts and building up hatred.

When she doesn't know an individual, she acts rude or even frustrated as a way to keep her heart out of the picture, as a way to protect her buried emotions. Despite that, for the few who manage to earn her trust and respect, Izumi is quite overprotective and even jealous. Dealing with her own feelings is probably her biggest challenge, and she found in her job as an ANBU a way to cope with them, by gaining a purpose bigger than herself, and also an outlet to exact vengeance upon her enemies and the enemies of her village.

She is aware of her own complicated and contradictory feelings. She struggles to reconcile her relentless drive for revenge with her still-existing humanity. That prompts her to refuse to get close to anyone, and due to that, earning her trust is a feat reserved to a selected few. She hides a deep-seated self-loathing and intense regret over what she has done in her journey for revenge. She privately hates herself for her actions but behaves as if she's driven by instinct, and although it would be hard for her to admit to it, her drive for revenge is her way of coping with her trauma. She sees herself as a "selfish, horrible girl" unworthy of her own humanity, but those who know her well will find her a rather hard-working, and caring individual who is just haunted by her passion and unstoppable drive to kill the people responsible for the misery of her nation.

Despite all that, she has a weakness for family due to having lost all of hers. Whenever children and families are involved, she will try to choose - if possible - more nonviolent but no less ruthless methods to defeat her enemies. She even shows empathy to several of her enemies whenever their families are involved, a sign of her latent humanity she tries so hard to deny.

『 ENHANCED COMBAT SPEED 』

What Shigure lacks in physical strength, he definitely makes it up in the combat speed department. Having trained the Gentle Fist since his early childhood, the Hyuuga learned that raw power and superior strength were borderline useless for his style since, in the end, nobody can train their inner organs to become stronger. Therefore, the chakra reliant style of the Hyuuga fighting style was more than enough for him to achieve the desired results in battle. Thus, the truly efficient way to improve his fighting capabilities was directly associated with how fast he could act and react in a fight.

Shigure’s reflexes are absurdly sharp, and he can react almost instantly to attacks, which makes him quite skilled at counter attacking with his deadly Gentle Fist, making it difficult for opponents to actually land a blow on him. In short, he can react fast to combat situations.

『 ENHANCED CHAKRA CONTROL 』

Due to the intensity of his training and his overall style as a practitioner of the Gentle Fist, as well as his Hyuuga genes, Shigure was able to develop a level of chakra control that puts him above that of his peers, equiparing himself to those a rank higher. His level of control is remarkable and allows him to optimise the usage of chakra, avoiding any unnecessary waste while using his techniques. This ability gives him an edge on the battlefield, as he is able to use more techniques, with more frequencing, while also avoiding the draining effects of running out of chakra due to waste.

『 GENTLE FIST SAVANT 』

Shigure is a natural savant at his clan’s legendary Taijutsu style despite being a sort of a late bloomer. He has developed an incredible proficiency with the techniques of his clan, that allows him to stand out above even his fellow kinsmen. With his current level of understanding and application of his techniques, the heir to the clan brings incredible precision and swiftness to his attacks, rarely ever missing his mark once an attack is launched.

Guided by his potent doujutsu, he became an expert at shutting down his opponents chakra network, as well as combining the techniques of the clan together to deliver even more powerful attacks. He can, while using the Gentle Fist and it's techniques, also land more blows per second than most of his peers, moving so swiftly that it’s even hard to keep up. This makes him an incredibly dangerous opponent to fight at close quarters, as he is capable of giving even higher ranking Shinobi a real challenge.

『 MOVEMENT SPEED 』

Shigure's speed is no longer solely restricted to his reaction speed in a fight; he can also move extremely fast. The Hyuuga can run at an incredible speed, capable of matching higher ranking shinobi. Keeping up with his pace is an strenuous task for those who are not skilled in close quarter combat, and to the untrained eye his movements will appear like a blur. If his opponents do not have superior reaction speed, they may struggle to evade him from closing in during battle, or from catching up to them in a chase. As consequence, he is also quite capable at retreating from combat, as few can match his full speed.
