Souma was in the only circumstance where she didn't wear her armor for comfort- the Kuwana hospital itself, on active duty, tending to patients. Dressed in hospital scrubs, the blue-haired Chuunin was working her way from room to room ensuring the collection of examinees would survive the night, and hopefully make as full a recovery as possible before their next matches or, failing that, the rest of their careers. She'd seen a lot this year. Not two, not three, but FOUR severed arms, two from the same person; slashes, bruises, burns galore; and from what she'd seen, she was positive a significant number of the participants would need emotional counseling afterwards.

That, however, was not her department.

In this case, after ensuring that the worst injured were properly cared for, safe, and out of pain, Miroru started to work her way through the less critical. In other ones, the people who at least still had all their limbs. She still felt awful, if she was honest- her medic training didn't have many holes, but the Salamander Limb Regrowth technique was one of them, and her failure to develop it prior to this felt like a personal failing.

She tried to treat herself a little by choosing an Iwa examinee, hoping to find a familiar face. "Awa Uta?" She asked, stepping into the room and looking towards the patient.

Uta had never been so bored in her life. Day after day of nothing but a hospital room. If she was lucky she'd get to be wheeled out to the garden. It was a simply torturous existence, and that was before you accounted for the pain she found herself in more often than not. The burns were still healing, but more than that was the she felt internally. The reason she could barely handle standing at the moment. It made life much more complicated, but she knew she had to try her hardest to get back to her former strength.     Today she wasn't expecting any visitors, and so when she heard her door open she was surprised to see a face she at least partly recognized. Uta couldn't say she knew the woman in front of her too well, but she did know that she had seen her around at some point.      "That's me!" Uta gave a bright smile as she welcomed her new quest into the room. "You're a medic from Iwa aren't you? Do you work here too? Or is this just something special for the Chuunin Exams?" Uta was nothing if not an inquisitive girl, she loved to ask questions, and when someone new found themselves in front of her she couldn't help but fall back on habits like that.

"I am," Souma offered with a smile. She was honestly pretty pleased to be recognized, but it was simply not her way to get overexcited about... many things. "Tantetsu Souma, as it happens. Tokubetsu Iryonin. And I do not work here, no. It is a temporary posting to supplement the Kuwana medical team with mednin more familiar with the sort of injuries likely to arise during the exams. It was supposed to be Jiro-sama, but-" She hid a minute sigh. It wasn't the first duties handed over to her in favor of rooftop naps and manga. "Anyhow. It looks like you are on the mend from rather the rough treatment. Could you tell me about how you came to be injured so, if you are comfortable doing so? If not, it is no worry. The goal is simply to ensure you are comfortable while we change the dressings and the salves beneath. If you would rather speak about something else while I tend to you, that is perfectly acceptable- but I like to ask. Sometimes important details come up that did not surface as memory during the initial diagnosis."

Souma seemed perfectly calm as she moved over to help Uta get into position to have her extensive burn dressings addressed, clinical and professional at all turns.
