The way she said that line about healing... It had a lot of weight to it, didn't it? Taro wasn't sure what Momo meant by it, but he knew when and where to take something seriously. The lack of authority didn't quite matter to Taro- As it stood, she wasn't very intimidating in the first place, but more so he trusted her and her intuition based on the feats and actions performed by her- In this case, healing and helping Taro up.
Taking the blow for him would be helpful as well. When she brought up her sedatives, his eyes glanced up to the sky for a moment. There was so much deeper meaning behind that. He stared, rain falling on his face, though he said nothing, simply nodding at her as he watched her drag the deer behind her. Sheesh, she really was strong. She could probably carry Taro like a handheld weight. The idea was both frightening and comforting- Mostly because he was glad he had her on his side.
Regardless, he took comfort under her side, propped up slightly as they walked. She was impressively strong, tough like an ox. Must have had something to do with her horns. It felt... Odd, walking together, but in a good way. He felt like...
Taro felt like things might actually be okay. He... Wanted to be Momo's friend. He sort of hoped she felt the same. In response to all of this though, as they began their long walk home, he had only one real question...
"...So what's a sedative?" ...Ah, the farm child at heart.
