"You were being held near Gengetsu, and you all escaped. How did you all manage that?” Ichigoni asked.

"There was a prison transfer occurin’, but they weren’t telling us where we were going, and she o’er there headbutted a guard and knocked a kunai loose. Then she— "What are you doin’?”

The Uzumaki had made several more chakra spears. He had one hovering near his lower abdomen. He pushed it in. The man let out a groan.

"Oh shush, it is harmless. I’m just getting you ready, don’t worry about it. Keep talking or it will be much worse for you.”

"B- Okay. She got the kunai in her mouth, and she started runnin’ round crazy and managed to slit the guards throat. Then she cut one of our ties free, and we used the transfer ship to get out. Smooth sailing from there, up till now…”

"Interesting. So none of our people helped you escape on purpose. That’s a relief,” Ichigoni said. He stuck an additional rod horizontally through the man’s arms and shoulders to pin them in place in a "T” shape. Then he withdrew the original rods and stuck them criss-cross into his legs to hold them together.

"P-Please stop!”

"Mm, sorry I can’t do that. Now was this your final destination? What were you planning to do?” Ichigoni asked. He hoisted the man up by the rod that pierced his abdomen and into the core of his body. He held the man up like a shishkabob.

"I— I don’t know. Please. This is so uncomfortable. You said…”

"I said I wouldn’t kill you. That’s all. That’s only if you answer all my questions, by the way.”

With the shish kabobed pirate hunched over his shoulder he jumped down into the water and walked along the surface past Kasumi, still locked in battle, and observed the carnage of Umidebtio’s ninjutsu.

There were still more pirates coming from further within. One that got past Umidebito’s attack lunged towards Ichigoni, and in reaction the Uzumaki swung the man-on-a-stick at him. His ribs cracked against the other man’s head, and he fell to the ground while his snitch cried out in pain.

"Talk!” Ichigoni said again.

[Kasumi Momochi]

A DEMON HAS PURPOSE

There is only one path left to take.

The encroaching reinforcements were put to a bit delay when Kasumi's new partner showed off a jutsu that claimed several lives. More importantly for Kasumi, though, it bought her enough time to finish her handseals and complete her jutsu. Lightning flickering off her hand wildly as she focused it towards the very tips of her two fingers.

"It was fun while it lasted." She told the pirate lord, who was so close to escaping his own net. He didn't get the chance though as Kasumi darted forward, plunging her two fingers into the man and through his impressively durable skin. The impact punched a hole through the enemy where his heart was, and quickly the pirate lord fell backwards with a loud thud.

"Who's next?" Kasumi growled out with a wild grin on her face, stepping over the leaders corpse to approach the few remaining escapees. Her question was answered when an arrow impacted into her shoulder. Her jacket managed to stop most of the piercing, but the impact still send a sting up her shoulder and made her flinch backwards just a step. "Alright."

With that, she charged towards the archer and his friend. Her sword in her left hand as the archer switched to a sword of his own as she closed the distance. Kasumi would display some impressive skill in keeping the two grunts occupied with her one sword. Eventually felling the archer with a quick lunge that saw her sword in his gut.

With one left in front of her, she was nearly wrapped up with her end of things.

Demon Chakra:
Kasumi has become known for her strange chakara form. When in a dire situation, she is capable of releasing her chakra, which in turn takes a strange color unlike the normal blue color of chakra, and takes the form of a demonic cat figure. She is then enveloped in a demon shroud.

This ability grants her a fierce looking aura, that may come off as intimidating and a tenacity to push beyond their normal limits physically- when this mode is activated, Kasumi is harder to knock out or kill and will generally fight for longer than a normal body is capable of.

Keeping this ability active has a low drain on Kasumi's chakara.


Demon sword style:
Since a young age, Kasumi has felt the weight of a sword in her hands. She's practiced combat with swords, and is able to compete with some of the best sword users around. That said, people who lack training with a sword or intensive Taijutsu tend to be overwhelmed by her skill.

Demon chakra pool:
Kasumi was born with higher than average chakara reserves, letting her use more chakara and jutsu without being exhausted. A natural gift from her lineage. She has learned how to properly take advantage of these reserves.

One Handed Demon Style:
Through patience and recklessness, Kasumi has mastered the ability to do jutsu with only one available hand. She can cast jutsu only using one hand for the seals.

Demon Strength:
Through hard work and dedication, Kasumi has trained her body to be strong- even for a shinobi. She has incredible physical strength that is near impossible to match on even footing.

This a stronger variant to Tonoda's powerful Hell Stab technique, boasting much more piercing power since the immense lightning chakra of the technique is focused to a finer point. This variant focuses the thrust into two fingers making the impact much more deadly after performing the handseals for the Hell Stab [Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox → Snake → Dog → Tiger]. With two fingers [Nihon Nukite] can even pierce malleable targets such as rubber, the Rashōmon Gate and other Lightning Release Techniques.

Umi glanced around at the carnage she had created and out of her periphery she caught sight of an absolutely brutal display of violence brought forth by her cousin. He had essentially paralyzed some poor pirate and was using his body as a sort of bludgeoning weapon to attack his comrades and unfortunately all involved were still conscious. The empathetic side of Umi could imagine the sheer and absolute horror of the situation from the pirate’s perspective. She couldn’t imagine anything worse than to be completely at the mercy of another let alone someone who had such clear disdain for your very existence. There was a brief moment where she considered that a decent person ought to step in and put an end to such nonsense. Everything they knew about these people’s crimes were hearsay and speculation, after all. But her more rational mind acknowledged that showing any weakness at this point would most likely end in death for not only her but her teammates. [break][break]

It was during this moment of indecision that she felt a sharp pain in her side. She looks down at the one pirate still crawling on the floor. He was holding the end of a wooden spear which was impaled through her gut. The two locked eyes and the pain and desperation on his face was reflected on her own. Umi smiled apologetically. Suddenly, the ground beneath her became soft and malleable like quicksand. She dropped through the ground. The spear snapped and clattered against the stone.
As she went, she grabbed the head of the prone pirate and pulled him under with her until only his legs were sticking up out of the ground kicking. Until they weren't.

Ichigoni caught a glimpse of Kasumi running her enemy through with just her finger tips. He made note to be careful not to scold her too hard.

The pinned man was battered up and bruised at this point, and suffered several lacerations from his own comrades trying to attack Ichigoni. He wailed in agony, unable to even clutch at his wounds because of his paralysis.

"The Red Keep, that’s where we were goin’ to go,” the man cried out.

Ichigoni smiled to himself, happy to have gleaned the information. Still it was a bit saddening news though. That was northern Mizu no Kuni, outside of his area of responsibility. Still, it’d look good on the mission report. Perhaps something to gloss over the little ‘mistake’ that was made.

Another archer from the back of the cove shot an arrow towards Ichigoni, and he used his captive to block it. It pierced their head. He’d lived up to his end of the bargain though, he didn’t kill the man, his own did.

He tossed the body aside and turned to see Umidebito seemed to be bleeding. She’d have to hold on until they got abc to the ship to get any real medical treatment. Still, he’d rather extract her if needed.

"Umidebito. How bad is it?” he asked from across the room.

From around the corner, four more fighters emerged. He formed a single hand seal, and the diamond on his forehead faded away. A perfectly crafted water dragon jettisoned out of the water and rushed through all four of them in an instant. The sheer pressure of the technique tore through their bodies and splattered them against the cove wall.

To most, that technique took a very long time to mold, but thanks to Ichigoni’s fuinjutsu prowess it was a near instantaneous jutsu of great power.

The user performs the necessary hand seals for this technique, then after they perform the hand seals and chakra molding for one more technique. The user effectively seals away the 2nd technique used along with the chakra necessary to cast it into a seal they place upon their forehead reading "capsule". This allows the user to prepare a specific technique to be activated upon a single hand seal any time into the future, even when they have almost no chakra saved up later on. Once the seal is released, the technique is used immediately afterward and the seal on the forehead vanishes. Only one instance of this seal can be active at a time. Limited to B-Rank jutsu and below. Only the initial cost is covered, channeling must still be paid for at activation if desired.

Description:
Suiryuudan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Water Element. The ninja does a long string of hand seals which then causes a column of water in the form of a dragon to rise from the water and then strike their target. While being the same rank as Suikoudan no Jutsu, the two techniques have slight differences. Where as Suikouden is a slightly faster attack, Suiryuudan deals more damage against the target and has a farther range, but also requires more handseals to be performed.

With her sword impaled through the archer, Kasumi couldn't help but overhear her new captain asking about Umi's injury. The implication drew Kasumi's attention for just long enough that the swordsman in front of her gathered himself and swung his sword towards the demon. She attempted to pull her own sword from the archer, but the mans dying will grabbed the handle and held it in place.

With only one option, Kasumi reached her right hand up to catch the blade going for her neck about six inches before it made impact. Blood dripped slowly from the new wound on her hand.

"You're really a bastard, you know that?" She wasn't sure if she was talking to the archer for grabbing her sword, or the swordsman for nearly killing her. Either way, her left hand swung the sword- it's victim still skewered on it, and bashed the two prisoners together with incredible strength. Enough to send both bodies crashing into a nearby cave wall and crack the stone.

She was pretty sure that they were both dead, but just in case she threw a kunai at the heart of the unconscious swordsman before looking back to her two teammates.

"Are you two alright?! Are there more?"

Of course, her eyes instead fell to the carnage left from the close ranged water dragon jutsu. She fixated on that power for a moment, raising a brow.

This new team was definitely not lacking in power, even if she wasn't sure their motivations were the same.

As she looked around, she could tell that their job here was done. There wasn't another soul in sight. All that was left was to head back and fill out the report, which Kasumi hoped wouldn't land her in any hot water.
