A simple mission that Kohaku wouldn't need too much help in. It was a solo mission for her an dhoenstly this excited Kohaku as it meant she was given the chance to prove her worth as a shinobi. Sure it was a simple ice fishing job so there probably wouldn't be too much danger involved hence the low rank of the job, but still a chance to shine was something she desperately needed. So she got up early and prepared herself for the long day she would have on the ice getting the fisher's supplies and even doing her fishing if needed. She was excited that was for sure.

This excitement wouldn't last long though once she reached the destination of the mission as she was put to work right away. Not with the supply run, but with the actual fishing and they even sent her off to her fishing hole where she would be instructed to catch her fish. She was alone sitting on the ice with her rod in the hole she had carved out to catch fish and she was positively bored with this mission already. How did people find fishing relaxing and enjoyable? It was so dull. Why couldn't something interesting happen to give this mission even more excitement? Kohaku would sigh and say to herself, "Any day now fish." Hoping the goading would cause something to nibble on he line.

"Any luck catching something?" Reiji questioned, slowly sliding on the ice to get a better look at the hole she'd made into its thick surface. It seemed an odd job for a shinobi, but an odd job for a shinobi was still an odd job for a civilian. He wasn't much of a hunter, himself--at least, he was pretty sure he wasn't. But it was important work, and somebody had to do it. 
    The young man looked over the girl with the fishing rod in her hands, and a bored-out-of-her-mind expression. Whatever she was up to, she didn't seem to be enjoying it. Not that he could quite blame her. Most people would have complained being stuck in one place for too long... though, it wouldn't have been him. Fishing wasn't really something that had caught his interest as of yet, but the monotony of a simple life was appealing in its own right.
    He didn't serve his nation out of a thirst for excitement and adventure--if he had, he probably would have been on a special operations team, instead of a bodyguard to the Yuki Lady.
    "Maybe you'll snag a whale down there," he spoke in jest.
