The man in the ring watched the roo bouncing and seemingly taunting him, and instead of charging in he backed off even further, near out of the ring in fact. As he reached the edge he turned and grabbed one of the patrons in the crowd and slung them with a strength that at the best of times would have seemed impressive. Ryoko now had a full grown man flying at her in mid air, and the bald man watching nearby looked frankly completely pissed off now, as he hadn't just disrupted the fights, but was now throwing people from the crowd. It was becoming difficult for him not to get involved, but he gave it a little longer to see what this roo would do, before he put an end this this himself.

Despite the act, the crowd wasn't any more rowdy or loud, and even more strangely some of them seemed to be calmly leaving altogether, and the people still inside were outright refusing to even look at the bald man, giving him a wide birth so he was standing in a semi-circle of bodies. There was absolutely no doubt that if these shinobi were looking for a ring leader, this was their guy. It was a matter of what they'd do about it however, and if things continued, they'd be likely coming face to face with the man in some fashion sooner than later.

Something was off, not just in terms of this new mystery man but the match as well. The fighter had been so overzealous to get into the ring just moments ago but now was actively keeping distance from Ryoko, what was his deal? Had he realized that the funny looking animal was actually a better match than he expected? Perhaps the liquid courage he had been drinking was wearing off and with it went confidence. Whatever the case this was a prime opportunity for his mission partner to apply some pressure and put an end to this match.

Fate, however, would have other ideas and what Ouritsu saw next was beyond belief: the man was grabbing people from the crowd and tossing them at Ryoko! The crowd's silence had carried over from the bald man's arrival and most who were thankfully out of arms reach could only watch in shock. "Roo! Dodge! Then put an end to his villainous schemes!" The Nohime spoke. Part of him wanted to have Ryoko help out the people but he had a feeling that the man would take that as an opportunity to get in a sneaky shot or two.

Shifting his attention to the bald man it was impossible to miss the wide berth people were giving him out of either fear or respect. There was no doubt in Ouritsu's mind this was the man they were looking for and while he did have an imposing aura about him it was high time the silence was broken. "My good sir, am I to believe this is how a man of your stature runs his prized bouts?" He asked, partly to see if he would let these shenanigans continue but also to try and confirm if the man had any other abilities they needed to know about.

Dodge? It was just a flying person. No big deal, she was also a flying person. Granted, her flights were more controlled than that of the screaming man presently soaring towards her, but still. Dodging was not in the cards.

The roo also thought something was off. Her opponent was being to cautious, less street brawler and more a professional. Professional jerk, sure, but she was one of those too.

The roo’s weight shifts, eyes focused as the man hefts and then heaves a body at her. She is quick to react, a small hop backwards letting her position herself better. She hops again and both feet come up, catching the body as it flies towards her. She braces and balances with her tail as her legs compress like great springs. They absorb most of the impact of the thrown body, but further.. they promptly return to sender.

The poor hapless man caught in the middle must hate life, given a moment of stillness before the kangaroo’s powerful legs kick, and catapult him right back at the man who had just thrown him. Like a human volley ball he was doomed to another uncontrolled flight, and, at best, could look forward to a rough landing against a wall, floor, or even an angry street tough.

Either way, Ryoko was quick to follow up the throw, a few bounces letting her rush in only a second or so behind the flying body. She is all gloves this time, letting her feet remain for evasion as she begins to throw a flurry of mostly uncontrolled and wild jabs. Fast and overwhelming to normal people, but her lack of actual taijutsu skill does impair her some.

She’s a kangaroo, though, it should be expected.

It was subtle, and perhaps if the man had been running in any attacking, maybe boisterous and distracting at the very least, it wouldn't have been noticeable at all, but there was something off about his eyes. There was a color change, blood red, but not quite bright, and the way he stared at Ryoko with an almost knowing look now. Something was off, and the two shinobi weren't the only ones thinking the same, as the man across from the kangaroo was feeling very much the same. They weren't strong, but they were some time of fighter, perhaps even a shinobi, but the truth was they absolutely weren't from Iwa regardless of their headband. The man hadn't figured out that this opponent was more than he had bargained for, but he had figured out something far more dangerous, and thankfully hadn't vocalized it.

The bald man didn't even as much as recognize Ouritsu let alone look at him or return his comment, but it wasn't him trying to be rude, but it was what the man across from Royko was doing. His arms raised and....was he making a handseal? The large bald man put an arm in front of Ouritsu as if he was about to push him out of the way, when....the bald man jumped down from the above balcony? This would certainly explain how he had gotten down so fast, because he hadn't, as he either had a twin or a very impressive body double. Neither of these bald men had realized at this point that Ouritsu or Ryoko were shinobi, but they spotted this fighter as one fairly quickly, and they were done watching now. The man who had jumped down stepped in between Ryoko and the fighter before they came to blows, thinking this kangaroo was about to be blasted by some sort of jutsu, and the man that was next to Ouritsu was now rushing in delivering a devastating punch to the fighter as he was making his second hand seal, causing him to go limp with only a punch.

The second man who had jumped down from the balcony reached into his pocket and pulled out a scroll and tossed it over to Ouritsu, then snapped loudly, as a man came pushing through the crowd, handing a small sack of money to him as well.

"Sorry about the mess."

This situation had turned into a bit of a shit show, but it seemed it was no exaggeration that obvious acts from shinobi weren't too well received, given the reaction from the owners. The fight wasn't necessarily won, but far more was gathered than what would have been otherwise it seemed, as the scroll gave the location of not one, but two more fights like this that possibly wouldn't have been given otherwise.

"You fought good. Show up at the next fight, don't matter which"

With that this place was likely a wash for being used a second time given what had taken place, so in a sense it had in fact been shut down, and now they had information on two other locations.

The situation was beginning to devolve and Ouritsu wasn't keen on letting the enraged man continue to fling bystanders at Ryoko even if the woman was more than capable of holding her own. Something was off about the whole thing and chances were this was not the direction most fights went less these rings wouldn't have grown to such size if the threat of being used as a projectile were ever present. If the man standing next to him were truly the leader of this operation then it would be imperative to take him down and bring an end to this whole thing, though the other two who had been standing alongside him up top would need to be dealt with as well.

Alas, actions from the possibly former Iwa-nin had garnered the chunin's attention once more as the very clear and obvious formation of seals could be seen. This man was breaking out jutsu! Shit, guess the jig is up. Ouritsu thought to himself though before he could take a step to move towards the ring an outstretched hand halted his movement as... another bald man, spitting image of the one standing next to him, leapt down from above towards the ring and put an end to the fighters schemes before they could come to fruition.

Now there were at least two possibly skilled people the duo would have to deal with though once again fate had other plans as a scroll and bag of ryo found their way into the Nohime's hands with an invitation to show up to another fight in the future. "Right... RIGHT! OF COURSE, WE WOULDN'T MISS IT!" He replied to the man before signaling the still transformed Ryoko to exit the ring. It wasn't the ending they had quite imagined but this valuable information would do wonders for the village and soon enough they would take this ring down.

The fight didn’t seem to be continuing. The guy just seemed to be staring at her. How boring!

Ryoko made no note of the man’s shifting eyes, she wasn’t the genius sort. She was the turn into a kangaroo and clown around while clobbering everyone around her sort. Very different, that.

She waves her big red mits in a come hither motion, trying to goad her opponent into doing something other than throw people at her. It wasn’t an effective attack against her.  Ranged things never worked against Aihara, and she wanted to see what he could do. But no, such was not to be. Instead the whole place was just descending into abject chaos. Pandemonium even, as shouts and screams and panic overtook what could have been her audience.

Ryoko turns her back on the other guy and lifts her tail, giving it a disrespectful flick before she bounds easily over the arena’s fence. Another pair of hops carry her back to Ouritsu’s side. She could only imagine he must have done his side of the mission. With the havok ensuing around them surly something she had missed happened.

She waits, as witless a kangaroo as there ever was, until it’s time to go. Then she goes.

Easy peasy. With still some chakra to spare, she’d wait until they were well away from the village to drop her transformation and then hopefully learn what her partner had assessed from the masses around them.
