D-RANK EXP TRAINING: 8/8 completed

Raika watches as Ataru manages to land the flip that she'd set him up to do using her strength, having expected him to land it purely because his balance really wasn't half-bad. Still, she was glad for him that he'd been able to land it on his feet. After setting him up to use knee strikes on another wooden dummy, she watches him do the alternating strikes a few times, letting him get used to the motion and the twists he has to do to be able to make contact rapidly. After a few switches back and forth on the dummy's wooden body, she starts clapping her hands in a rhythm. Since the sound is even and rhythmic, she watches as Ataru's body naturally begins to follow the beat and ensuring that the Academy student manages to keep up to a speed that should help him improve how quickly he can kick.

"Good, good, good."

Raika, seeing that Ataru can keep up with the pace her clapping has set, increases the tempo of her clapping slightly. She watches to make sure he can keep up, and when he does, she increases the tempo just a bit more. She continues this work gradually over the course of an hour until she can see that Ataru is getting winded and his tempo starts the falter, so she stops clapping.

"Very well done! But I bet your legs feel like gelatin now. No worries, we'll get you something to eat, we're finished with the workout for today."

Although she says this, the Genin starts stretching her own muscles, loosening them back up some more as she cools herself down while also making sure to loosen up her own muscles. Even though she didn't engage in a great deal of training herself, she wants to make sure that Ataru is aware that he has to do the same, or risk hurting his own muscles tomorrow.
