So we're on the road to Yuki no Kuni...I miss Miruko

As Fuu's clones snuffed out the enemies before her and she had attempted to deliver a blow to finish the job but would find that Kazama had grabbed onto her back. By this point Fuu had already began to sort of lose herself in combat as her transformation had begun to take a bit of a hold on her, as Kazama grabbed the girl by her back, she'd snarl as two of her clones would release their hold on their adversaries and rush the remaining "civilian."

"Graaah!" as this happened Fuu would see the man before her perform a few handseals from this range the girl needed to escape and would craft a singular hand seal in order to get herself free of his range whilst the remaining Fuu clones would grasp hold of the shaky man and would strangle him with their bodies.

As that went on Fuu would use her soft body form to wriggle out of the hold that she was trapped in and would wrap her body around his body tightening her grip on his neck. "Fuu....has had enough of mean man...Fuu tried to tell mean man to stay away!" as her words became more and more envenomed as she spoke, her voice would deepen giving her something of a monstrous sounding voice.

"But if mean man not want to listen then Fuu will make sure that mean man...never get in Fuu's way ever again...!" Fuu would flex her muscles tightly in order to strangle the man in order to take the breath out of the man effectively killing him under the lack of control that she has within her Onigo form.

The user dislocates their joints then controls their softened body with chakra, allowing them to stretch and twist any part of their body at any angle, elongating and even coiling around their opponent. This can also be used to make the user's body more malleable and snakelike. People particularly skilled with the technique can utilize it for movement as well, being able to slither along the ground or wrap around a tree much like a snake.

Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, compounding in exertion and difficulty each time. with any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

Disdain for samurai aside, there was a part of him that had to respect their skill. "Whatever else she is... she's certainly no fool." He thought, equal parts impressed and frustrated that she did not fall for his shepherding into his caltrop trap.

Unfortunately he would not have much time to dwell on this fact as the rōnin deflected In's exploding kunai with ease and turned to dart towards the bridge. "Damn. Kazama." He thought to himself, his mind racing to course correct. Uemon was not overly concerned with the woman's wellbeing... but if she fell, he would be left to clean up.

So like it or not he would have to intervene here. Detaching his threads from his wolfdog, he finally dispelled his Henge as his fingers moved to form a single Tora hand seal. Shortly after an exact duplicate of himself poofed into existence via the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, and with both of them understanding what needed to be done, the clone leapt from the treetop and sprinted through the brush. Forming another Tora seal itself as it raced alongside her...

To blur from sight with a quick usage of the Shunshin no Jutsu and cut off her escape. "Samurai." The bunshin spat, as it flickered into sight just before the bridge, swiping three shuriken from a hip pouch to hurl at her in hopes that the projectiles and his sudden presence would be enough to stop her advance short. "Are you fleeing already?"

Any second he could buy himself was valuable as his real body jumped from tree to tree. Looking to set up for a surprise attack while his clone ran interference. "If your opponent is of choleric temper..." He thought, recalling his sensei's words. "Seek to irritate her." As Uemon prepared above, his clone stood fast. The hood on its jacket having fallen during its flickering. A young man with tan skin, dark hair, a scar on his brow, and in the company of wolves...

Unbeknownst to him the woman did indeed have orders to find this 'Masamune Fudo' figure, and because of that she might very well recognize him from his appearance alone. Once again he would attach his threads to In and Yō. 

Though they were damaged, all he needed was one solid opportunity to bring this all to an end. And if worse came to worse... he always had that. "Take the bait, damn you." Uemon thought as he ushered his wolfdogs forward to the woman's flanks. As quickly and quietly as he could, hoping their collective impaired hearing would aid his efforts.

DESCRIPTION:
Another aerodynamic throwing weapon. The shuriken's star like shape allows them to be easily drawn from a shinobi's storage and thrown with relative ease. Unlike the Kunai however, shuriken typically are not used as melee weapons. Although small, they can be used to distract, pin down enemy shinobi, or if accurate enough, can kill or incapacitate an enemy. They have an open circle in the center, useful for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through.


SPECIAL ABILITIES:

KASHIRA-WARI・首割り - ENHANCED CHAKRA CONTROL
Puppeteers must maintain expert control over their wide selection of puppets, and so too must a shinobi with their chakra. Necessary for his Puppet Ninjutsu and applicable to his other techniques, Uemon has trained extensively in order to mitigate the amount of chakra he uses with his jutsu. Compensating for his average chakra reserves this allows him to stay in the fight that much longer.

TSUKURIMONO・作り物 - INTELLIGENCE
Stage and setting can make or break a performance. A director needs vigilance and flexibility to ensure all the moving parts of a play go off without a hitch. A learned strategist with a quick mind, Uemon is always observing even in the midst of combat. This allows for him to find gaps and weaknesses in his opponent's techniques easier than some, and allows him to formulate strategies and deceptions to take advantage of these shortcomings. A knack for tactics cues him on which approach works best depending on his target.

ASHIZUKAI・足遣い - SPEED
Operating the legs of a puppet requires dexterity and agility. Much like moving one's own body. As a child in Tetsu no Kuni Uemon trained in Jujitsu and Kenjutsu, finding his aptitude for speed rather than strength. Honed after years on the road with his mentors, Uemon is surprisingly light on his feet and his hand-to-hand strikes are faster than most expect. Able to strike and weave with deft swiftness he is capable of holding his own against Taijutsu specialists of his rank and outright overwhelming those of lower ranks in terms of speed.

SHOMEI・署名 - SENSOR TYPE 
Lighting is a crucial part of any play. Identifying the actors and drawing focus to them in the dark. With much training Uemon has become a Sensor Type, able to detect and hone in on chakra signatures akin to a sixth sense of sorts. A useful tool when it comes to tracking or surveillance. As of now, he is capable of passively sensing chakra up to one hundred meters from his body, or one kilometer if actively searching. This also allows him to more efficiently utilize his puppets without needing a direct line of sight to his targets. Knowing the placement of actors on stage at all times is essential.

Ryoko saw the blur speeding through the forest ahead of her out of the corner of her eye and knew her gambit had paid off. The instant Uemon’s clone appeared from the bush, the Onna-musha swung her blade, deflecting the trio of shrunken tossed her way as, at last, she came face to face with her foe- and paused, struck by the sheer coincidence of it all. Tall, tan skin, scar over his brow, and in the company of a pair of peculiar wolves… It's him. The man she had been seeking for months on end, this "Masaume Fudo,” a filthy peasant who dared to sully the name of her clan with his falseness.

"The warrior who fears retreat is a fool.” She spat, drawing her blade up in a high stance, ears still ringing from his compatriots earlier technique; she could hear, and hear well, but there were subtle sounds she was missing, the quiet rustle of feet against bark, the soft exhale of breath as a body leaping from tree to tree. Had her hearing been whole she might have picked these things up but, unfortunately, it was not- and for all her cleverness, the Onna-musha was still a Samurai at heart. And if there was one thing Samurai could resist, it was a duel.

"I have been looking for you, ‘Masamune Fudo.’ You will answer for your use of my clan’s name.” Ryoko said, taking in a deep breath as she waited for the Shinobi to make his move; whatever his plan was, whatever he had up his sleeve, she was certain she could handle it.

As for Fuu, her actions had something of a different effect than she intended; though she was able to Shunshin away to safety, her clones were far from close enough to attack, and instead of killing the man were caught in the explosion of fire of his Katon jutsu, puffing into smoke and returning their remaining chakra to the Tanjo operative. Who, as it stood, was starting to lose her head a bit.

Kazama struggled for a brief few moments against the blonde, his bulk managing to push aside her arms for a second- but he had no answer for her twisting limbs, and was soon held tight in her grip, the life slowly being squeezed out of him until, with a sickening, wet crunch of flesh and bone, his upper torso simply caved in, crushed by the might of Fuu’s Onigo transformation and spattering blood and viscera all over his upper torso. With the man gone, the girl had a chance to head back to the caravan and take out the remaining few Isshi-nin… if she had the presence of mind to do so, of course.

As Fuu would feel the man's body be crushed under her weight and as she felt the bones compress around her body like a deliciously warm and bloody hug, the girl would smile and untangle herself before making her way over towards the caravan where the other shinobi waited, Fuu would rush over towards them and punt their head to finish them off and then rush to do the same to the other. "Raaaaah!" the girl would shout, reveling in her mindless carnage.

Once she was finished she would turn her head towards her objective the caravan cart with the supplies and charge towards it in and attempt to bull rush it over destroying its contents. "If any mean men still alive -- and know what good for them -- you be nice to forest and leave tree ALOOOONE!" she'd snarl as she knocked the cart over using her Onigo form to break the supplies.

"Fuu only say once! Fuu not say again!" she'd scream to the civilian's. There was a small part of her that knew she didn't want to hurt these people and she certainly didn't want to kill Kazama either. she runs the risk of becoming a danger to herself and others which is one of the reasons why her former partner "The Shaman." would always accompany her in an effort to keep this part of her in line.

She knew once she came too and recalled all of her actions she would find herself upset with herself and come to regret what she had done here today. Not to mention potentially being punished by the pathfinder for bringing undo harm that in essence may hurt their reputations should the ramifications of her actions spread from this point forward. Either way here she stood wrecking the caravan and giving these civilian's a single warning before attempting to destroy the other remaining cart with a strong rush.

Metal clanged against metal— three times as his bunshin's shuriken were swatted away with little trouble. Dark eyes narrowed on the swordswoman as she spoke. "Sounds like a coward's excuse to me." It mocked back in reply.

Contempt dripping from its words, still trying its utmost to unbalance her. Uemon hated those of her ilk but he was no fool. She was not only strong but much more skilled than the rōnin back in Tsuchi no Kuni or the gokenin he skirmished with at the Uda Estate. If he had any hopes of victory he needed every edge he could get...



...and so the clone continued to trade barbs with the woman. "A craven and a gossip... just like a Masamune." It spat at the woman's threat, its eyes seeing the recognition in her face. "How much does she know?" It wondered as it slowly unslung the sheathed katana from around his left shoulder, brought it in front of him and gripped the hilt. That Hirohata Jinzashin— a gokenin of the Minamoto Clan had disappeared when last in his presence? That Jinzashin's kosho, Mononobe Noriyaki had been commanded to commit seppuku shortly after? Was she aware of the massacre at the Uda Estate of those patrolling vassals? Uemon always did his best to be careful... but if he had been spotted then word might have circulated around Tetsu no Kuni. And it would not take a genius to connect 'Masamune Fudo' to either event. Still... if the swordswoman sought a duel she would have one. Just perhaps not the exact kind that she was expecting. "I answer to no one..." The clone muttered as the saya's seal was broken, and the blade scraped along the koiguchi as it was drawn. "But you will answer to me before long." A threat in turn.

Its blade was drawn and the black scabbard tossed aside as the clone adopted a Chudan no Kamae stance, a basic middle guard with his weapon gripped tightly in both hands. "Raise your blade." The bunshin spoke as it dashed forward. Once it was within range it would let loose with a flurry of five strikes, the Rōtetsusen-ryū's Tetsu no Sen.

A relatively weak attack in comparison to the techniques she had displayed... but of course that was to be expected. "I've always hated banter..." The wanderer thought, recognizing even from a distance his bunshin's likely plan. They shared the same mind after all and so he figured the thing was likely attempting to rile her up. To a trained swordswoman, it would be clear that his clone's skill in kenjutsu was middling at best but that too was irrelevant to his aims. "I just need an opening." He thought, fingers on both hands flexing as he once again assumed control of both wolfdogs, commanding them to rush the woman from behind. A pincer movement from both front and back.

Executed with his canine's strongest technique. "Sōzōjōhigi: Sōtsuisei Mattan!" The words echoed in his head as he crossed his hands, signaling for his puppets to leap past one another in an attempt to gouge the swordswoman's back with fangs and claw. The Sōzōjōhigi: Sōtsuisei Mattan required much more chakra than his previous jutsu and despite his management of the resource he did not have unlimited reserves. If this maneuver did not settle things he had one last avenue of attack... but he would need to be even more stringent with his energy. And that was only if his bunshin was dispersed and that half of his chakra returned to him. "This has to end." Uemon thought.

Still watching carefully from his treetop vantage as he conducted his creations. All he could do for the moment was hope that either or both of his attacks had struck true. And rely on his subterfuge to see him through this struggle.

Hallmark of the Rōtetsusen-ryū and the technique for which the entire style was named for. The user grips their weapon tightly before unleashing a flurry of five strikes upon their target. It is said that the only thing that can be seen is the glint of their steel as they attack. While not capable of slicing through armor this onslaught of attacks can apply consistent pressure and leave the enemy with several gashes.

NAME: Sōzōjōhigi: Sōtsuisei Mattan [Imaginary Secret Technique: Duality's End]

DESCRIPTION:
Mattan means to end a battle with a single decisive blow. Manipulating the required chakra strings Uemon conducts his twin wolfdog puppets to charge their target at blinding speeds. Once near they shift on a dime and leap to opposite sides, deeply gouging their victim with fangs and claws in an 'X' shaped slash. This attack is aimed at vital areas and can be lethal upon a direct hit. Even if it isn't it will surely cause major blood loss and leave its target in dire straits. Devised as a killing blow and the pinnacle technique of the dual dogs.

As Fuu rampaged through the caravan, unobstructed and unhindered in her efforts, Ryoko stood alone, facing off against Uemon, her hearing at last beginning to return to its normal sharpness. But for all her ability, the Onna-Musha was too focused now; any of the signs that might have pointed her towards the truth of the matter were ignored as the Wanin’s clone baited her with barbed comments, her anger rising despite her best efforts to keep it stamped down. How dare this peasant look down on her? How dare he call her coward, when all he had done was run and hide!

"You will regret those words before I am done with you, wretch.” She said, rushing forwards to meet his advance, blade coming around to parry his first attack in a smooth, flowing block that had her sliding off to her left, exposing a hole in the man’s defense that she quickly took advantage of, slashing her blade down in a hammer blow that cut through his arm before he could even get a second strike off. Triumph spread across her face, her lips parting in a wide, almost feral smile… only for her senses and training to catch up with her, every nerve firing on maximum as she twisted to meet the twin dog’s attacks.

But it was too little, too late, and before she could so much as strike back against Uemon’s puppets, they sprung their trap, claws tearing at her midsection in a spray of blood and guts that left half of her torso exposed, her white kimono rapidly turning red as she stumbled forward one step, then another… and collapsed, blade clattering to the ground.

"And you… called me a… coward…” She gasped, the last of her lifeblood spurting from her mouth as she clawed at the dirt, reaching for her blade- only to go limp, the light leaving her eyes as she passed on into whatever awaited her.

The fight, it seemed, was over.

One sword stroke, a severed arm, a sudden puff of smoke, two cross-slashes, and a large gout of blood.

Soon after his clone had pressed its attack it was promptly cut down, but the deception was enough to allow him a small window of opportunity. The wanderer watched from his vantage as his canines delivered the killing stroke.

"It's finished." He thought as he leapt down from his perch, landing in a crouch, then rising slowly to make his way over to the bleeding samurai. Seeing her reach for her blade, he swiftly stepped on the hilt and kicked the weapon away out of reach. She had just enough time to deliver a final word... then died. "...I never claimed to be brave." 

As the light faded from her eyes he would stare down at her, his muted expression a mixture of contempt and something nearing pity. "Courage, honor... they'll only get you killed." Uemon lingered there for a moment before kneeling down, reaching two fingers towards the woman's face, and closing her eyelids. It was more respect than he had shown previous foes at least. "Yanosuke would probably say that you died well..." He thought as he stood back up and shook his head. "...but I don't think anyone ever truly does."  Foolishness... and now he could not question her.

Clans Muramasa and Masamune both had a long-running blood feud, and even as a boy he thought it ridiculous. Generational hatred that came at the cost of lives on either side, to kill those you do not know— and be killed by them in turn over some dumb argument two old fools had hundreds of years ago. Idiotic... and yet here he was.

Playing his part in it all without ever intending to. "Still one less samurai I'll have to worry about later." The thought occurred before some loud shouting caught his attention. By now his ears had mostly stopped ringing leaving him with a nagging headache, and as he shifted his gaze to the bridge he saw who he could only assume was Kazama.

In some sort of sudden rage and busy thrashing everything in her way. "What did I miss?" A question he would have to save for later as he sucked his teeth and strode forward, beckoning for his canines to follow with chakra threads. "She needs to calm down, we can't stay here much longer." In and Yō both clanked mechanically as they tailed him, the puppets having seen better days after going up against the Masamune woman. "If I can't find a way to stop her..."

No, that was not an option. One way or another he would have to. Not out of any sense of loyalty or friendship... but because being owed a favor by a group of radicals might come in handy later. "Hey!" Uemon shouted as he crossed the bridge and stood fast, narrowed eyes scanning the carnage. Wrecked carts, multiple casualties, glowing cinders from his bombs. "Snap out of it. It's done— let's go." Decimated enemy force or no, this was a main road. There was no telling when someone else would happen along and that only meant more witnesses at best or another skirmish at worst. He had used too much chakra... so whatever else happened, they could not afford to get tangled up in another battle. Uemon detached his threads from his wolfdogs and stood ready to face her if need be, but he hoped it would not come to that. "Don't make me use this, Kazama." He thought as he slipped a hand in his pocket, fingers curling around a small glass vial he kept there. For now anyway he would remain ready and wait. 




OFFENSIVE TECHNIQUES:
NAME: Kugutsu no Jutsu - [Puppet Technique]

DESCRIPTION:
The fundamental and most used technique of the style, Kugutsu no Jutsu allows a puppeteer the ability to use puppets in battle. While the degree in skill determines the number of puppets that can be controlled, for starters the user can control only one. By making near invisible strings of chakra from each of their ten fingertips and attaching them to their puppets they are able to control the puppet from various distances. However there is a delay between the puppeteers orders and the puppets movements, meaning puppet movement will not be instantaneous, and the response time increases based on distance.


SPECIAL ABILITIES:

KASHIRA-WARI・首割り - ENHANCED CHAKRA CONTROL
Puppeteers must maintain expert control over their wide selection of puppets, and so too must a shinobi with their chakra. Necessary for his Puppet Ninjutsu and applicable to his other techniques, Uemon has trained extensively in order to mitigate the amount of chakra he uses with his jutsu. Compensating for his average chakra reserves this allows him to stay in the fight that much longer.

TSUKURIMONO・作り物 - INTELLIGENCE
Stage and setting can make or break a performance. A director needs vigilance and flexibility to ensure all the moving parts of a play go off without a hitch. A learned strategist with a quick mind, Uemon is always observing even in the midst of combat. This allows for him to find gaps and weaknesses in his opponent's techniques easier than some, and allows him to formulate strategies and deceptions to take advantage of these shortcomings. A knack for tactics cues him on which approach works best depending on his target.

ASHIZUKAI・足遣い - SPEED
Operating the legs of a puppet requires dexterity and agility. Much like moving one's own body. As a child in Tetsu no Kuni Uemon trained in Jujitsu and Kenjutsu, finding his aptitude for speed rather than strength. Honed after years on the road with his mentors, Uemon is surprisingly light on his feet and his hand-to-hand strikes are faster than most expect. Able to strike and weave with deft swiftness he is capable of holding his own against Taijutsu specialists of his rank and outright overwhelming those of lower ranks in terms of speed.

SHOMEI・署名 - SENSOR TYPE 
Lighting is a crucial part of any play. Identifying the actors and drawing focus to them in the dark. With much training Uemon has become a Sensor Type, able to detect and hone in on chakra signatures akin to a sixth sense of sorts. A useful tool when it comes to tracking or surveillance. As of now, he is capable of passively sensing chakra up to one hundred meters from his body, or one kilometer if actively searching. This also allows him to more efficiently utilize his puppets without needing a direct line of sight to his targets. Knowing the placement of actors on stage at all times is essential.

So we're on the road to Yuki no Kuni...I miss Miruko

After having successfully toppled over the large carts Fuu's job was done, the enemy was decimated and she herself was pleased with her destruction. "Mean men...not hurt trees any longer!" she'd say to herself as she toppled over the last cart onto the body of one of the men she had fought crushing him under its weight.

She'd let out a guttural wail after crushing the man, his head still exposed at the end of the cart only for her to walk over it and press her boot to his head, pressing down on it for a moment just enough for his face to contort as the pressure on his skull forced the flexion of the muscles in his face. "Mean men hurt tree!" Fuu would then increase the pressure slowly crushing his head the bones cracking as they split open his face. "Fuu make sure they never hurt trees again!" A fiendishly delightful smile on the girl face as she collapsed the mans face onto the canvas and the viscera smeared into the dirt.

She'd look over at the man and find herself tagged with a small vial of something that would infect her system she felt it and the girls body would begin to feel somewhat out of sorts as she toppled over and her consciousness would leave her, coming back into form ever so slightly as she landed beside Kazama's broken body she didn't have the energy to speak as her body returned to its normal color her hair turning form Blue back to blonde.

"Kazama...?" she'd wonder as she saw his lifeless body on the ground. "Am I...dreaming what happened...?" after sometime the girls memories of her rampage would sink in and become clouded with the other events of the day and would begin to haunt her the shock setting in either in the form of nightmares of a spontaneous recovery of her memories, either way job was done but her recollection of it may be something the girl just might want to forget.
