The man had taken a good rummage through her things already, and the pathfinder's guide... a lot of little nooks and crannies of information - not enough to make an informed response.

Hotarubi was ready to rip her limb from limb as she struggled but he had put in quite a bit of time to ensure that she wasn't breaking free, and his Doton techniques were nothing to sniff at either. When listening to her response of the tanjo, he tutted and shook his head.

"Not good enough," Hotarubi wouldn't take a second glance at performing more handseals and the technique holding her in place would begin to move. The ground would lightly shake while the earth reverbed through her body, and - Hotarubi squinted. She didn't even react. Not a single bit.

The earth had moved forward and by most normal standards, he had just ripped her arm out of it's shoulder socket and rolled it forward. Normally enough to throw any person into screaming fits of pain. But from her... nothing. Maybe this would be harder for her to feel pain. Or maybe it meant nothing at all?

Either way, maybe a change of tact was needed.

"And why are you out here, little Tanjo?"
