Writing was easily a passion of Michi's and he enjoyed creating stories that encaptured the reader and pulled them into a universe not like their own. Filling the void of their life with the fantasies of their inner demons or even just tickling their fantasies to the point of glee. The idea of just touching the hearts of many from his words just made him feel well excited. Yet for all his ideas of what to write he always faced the same conundrum. Where? What would be the setting for the next piece? What kind of atmosphere would he set up and how would he describe it? Well, the best way to do that in his mind was to take from real-world experiences or from observing the world around him.[break][break]

So that's how he ended up here at the academy. It was no secret some people had this weird fantasy about being a student and their teacher teaching them some extracurriculars that weren't in the school's guidelines so to appeal to that audience he would need to study the layout of the academy to get an idea of how to write out that setting. He always did his best work by observing the angles of the scenery better when he was there so it just made sense to explore the school. [break][break]

Yet despite coming here for this reason he simply found himself exploring the school in general. Something about the atmosphere made him think of simpler times. The desks were neat rows overlooking a chalkboard with windows overlooking the training yard. A swing set hung upon the tree for children to sit on under its shady leaves. It was sorta peaceful. Looking out the window he could see someone training something though not sure what exactly and he couldn't help but feel intrigued. So he decided to take a look.

”88, 89, 90, 91…” the girl would count out loud between jumps. The young Nara was in the middle of high jumps with ankle weights. The training was simple but effective. While already the fastest in her class, she was determined to become even faster as she was about to enter the world of shinobi. The graduation exam was just a little more than a week away and, as her parents had told her, she would have less time to train after graduating. This was the second hundred of jumps she had done and each were a good couple metres high. Shun only stood at 5’5” so she was jumping higher than her height. Something that was hard at first but, over the years, had become easier.

*I wonder what that boy meant earlier…* she thought while training. Earlier that day there had been an event where one of her classmates asked her if she wanted to go get some food with him but Shun had just eaten so she said no - why would she have two lunches in a row? It would be hard to train after. Anyway, he got really sad about it so she offered to find someone who hadn't eaten yet to maybe keep him company but he declined. The raven-haired teenager felt like she had missed something… then again, she couldn't assume what the boy was feeling since he hadn't told her. She could only guess and that didn't help the truth in any way.

”100!” She declared and landed to take a break. The girl lazily walked over to her bag that was leaning against a nearby tree stump and retrieved a can of lemonade from it. She would then open it and take a tiny sip. It was hard to drink fast after working out for a while.

Shun stood at 165cm and weighed approximately 55kg. She was wearing a pair of dark gray ninja boots, dark grey cargo shorts going down over her knee and a moss-green t-shirt with big white hems. The symbol of her clan - the Nara clan - was printed on her left sleeve. Her waist-long hair was left loose but braided back at the sides of her face. A few loose strands still remained on the right side, however. Her skin was fair and her eyes a shade of deep-grey. She wouldn't stand out in a crowd at all. Puberty had her at an average height and she was finally starting to fill out after years of being skinny. Both of her parents were taller so the girl would probably keep growing for a few more inches.

”Whoever invented lemonade - thank you” she spoke out loud after yet another amazing sip. It was only then that she noticed someone near her and turned her attention to them. It was a boy - around her age but probably a little older. He was taller and had a really cool hair colour.

”Um… 'sup?”

"Sup," Michi would respond to her reaction to his sudden appearance. He was not the talkative type to new people and honestly, his approaching someone alone was quite out of the ordinary for him. His slouched shoulders gave him a rather slacker vibe to how he looked but his sullen eyes with dark shadows contrasted him making him look like someone who stayed up late at night doing stuff. Certainly a weird combination of appearance for him, but it didn't bother him as it was both true. he certainly could be described as a slacker at times it just depended on what he was slacking from though most of the time it was simply many sleepless nights writing and marking out lines from the book he was writing.[break][break]

Putting a little more energy forward he would be slightly more social than normal and ask, "Whatcha doing?" Though if he had to guess he could probably figure out what the girls were doing in the academy training yard. After all, he spent many nights here doing the same thing she was doing. Well maybe not the same thing, but he did train quite a bit when he was younger now more just doing things on his own than he wished to.
