Given a mutual disposition a deal is struck with Iron Country, something that came as a great surprise among many in the Land of Fields. A normally neutral nation offering to send some of their smiths to create powerful weapons for the shinobi in exchange for resources in the longer term, an incredibly welcome exchange that would be accepted with little hesitation. Attempting to use this as a potential olive branch to bring the nation from its neutral land to an ally, the mission is clear. Be hospitable and treat this as a high priority diplomatic mission, not just for Kusagakure, but potentially for their allies if the cards are played right. Reaching out to hire from the broader channels of messaging directly to the military-allied shinobi nations a race to send supplies to try and open a long closed border begins. With the messages sent, two high-priority missions begin from the nations involved. Able-bodied chunin will be sent to escort caravans of materials from the many nations to Nokoribi, the Ember Island, for use in smithing or be sent as escorts to send supply caravans into Iron Country, through the lands of Kaze no Kuni and off their coast. While those of higher rank are to act as protection detail to the many smiths being sent over. Travel is not a cakewalk however as many covet the material wealth and the price on the heads of highly renowned smiths over their safety and will attack with vigor.
