Bonchi no Kuni is a deadly land, full of enormous predators that are usually poisonous or venomous. The flora is equally dangerous, with numerous plants that are great for medicine and poison blooming on the land and surrounding the village proper.
The country experiences a perpetual summer-like climate, with soaring temperatures that rarely relent. The days are long and sweltering, with the sun's golden glow bathing the forests and jungles in a radiant light. Takigakure no sato (滝隠れの里)
[Head of City]: Mikatakujira Kunikunosaku [Formation]: 940 [Region]: Plateau, Flatland, Rainforest [Climate]: Tropical [Population]: 23,745 (15,750 Shinobi On Hand) [Economy]: Moderate [Relationship with Nishima-jō]: Good
Takigakure, a secluded Shinobi Village, stands as a hidden gem among minor villages, boasting the best-kept secret of its true location. Nestled within the Bonchi no Kuni, Takigakure plays a vital role as the primary producer of skilled shinobi for the land. While it may not serve as the country's military center, it operates as an independent contractor to the Daimyo of Bonchi no Kuni. The village enjoys considerable autonomy, as long as its actions do not conflict with the interests of its home country. Additionally, Takigakure is renowned for its extensive production of drugs and poisons, supplying a vast array of medicines and pharmaceuticals to various regions.
The village itself is cleverly concealed within a plateau enveloped by colossal trees. The magnificent canopy of the Great Tree dominates the skyline of Takigakure, seamlessly merging with the surrounding forest, effectively cloaking the village from prying eyes. This unique arrangement also casts an enchanting perpetual twilight upon the village, as sunlight struggles to penetrate the thick foliage. The climate within this hidden sanctuary resembles a tropical jungle, characterized by intense heat. The plateau's formidable walls mark the boundary, enclosing Takigakure in a world of its own.
To gain access to the village, one must navigate through a concealed entrance—a waterfall streaming from high atop the plateau. Behind the cascading waters lies a concealed cave, leading to an underground channel. Swimmers must traverse this secret path, emerging in the heart of the village—a serene lake encircling the island where the Great Tree majestically stands. Rising from the depths of the lake, one breaks through the water's surface, capturing the attention of all present, now standing in plain view.
In summary, Takigakure, with its clandestine location and close affiliation with the Daimyo, excels as a minor village, supplying talented shinobi and a wide range of pharmaceuticals. Its hidden plateau, shrouded by towering trees and perpetual twilight, creates an otherworldly ambiance, while the journey through the cave and emergence in the central lake adds a touch of mystique to this extraordinary sanctuary.

¿takigakure no sato? (¿滝隠れの里?)
[Head of City]: Mikatakujira Kunikunosaku [Formation]: 940 [Region]: Valley, Rainforest [Climate]: Tropical [Population]: 8,767 (5,723 Shinobi On Hand) [Economy]: Moderate [Relationship with Takigakure]: Excellent [Relationship with Nishima-jo]: Good
In a strategic ploy, Takigakure, the hidden village, has established a secondary village located several miles away. This secondary village is manned by ordinary civilians as well as a contingent of skilled ninja. It serves as the primary hub for trade and the delivery of missions, with Yamakira couriers covertly transporting essential supplies and assignments under the cover of darkness.
The primary purpose of this secondary village is to deceive the outside world about the true location of Takigakure. While it appears identical to the real village, it is actually only populated by half of the true shinobi force. Many individuals posing as civilians within this secondary village are, in fact, skilled shinobi spies fulfilling their assigned roles to maintain the facade. A replica of the Taki Lord Manor, where the village leader conducts operations and assigns missions, has been constructed, along with a similar imitation for the special forces.
Although the capture of this simulated village would not result in a significant loss for Takigakure, it would trigger a response from the nearby stations, which would provide reinforcements to counter the perceived assault. This defensive measure ensures that even if the enemy were to infiltrate the false village, Takigakure's overall strength and strategic capabilities would remain intact.
