The Village Hidden in the Waterfalls, is protected by a dense mist that is created by the concentrated chakra from the Great Tree. Those only who have been here and are deemed not a threat can find their way here, and only then is it rare for a threat to manage passed the maze-like passages between the falls to truly get a glimpse of it.

This place is home to the true villagers and the real home to the seat of all power within the country itself. It is also the location in which the miracle remedies and dew of the Great Tree are created and refined for usage among its shinobi and those considered allies. The Mikatakujira, Yamakira, and Tokonatsu have established Compounds here, along with other Clans respected by Takigakure. It is also home to the true Lord Taki Mansion, where the most sensitive of information is kept. The protection afforded to this place is great and should threat ever come to it, it would be met with not only the strength of its people, but of its lord as well.

The Takigakure Headquarters serves as the nerve center for all administrative operations within the village and plays a pivotal role in its governance. Situated in close proximity to the Lord's Mansion, this imposing building is a multifaceted structure, divided into three distinct sections, each with its own unique purpose and level of accessibility.

The first section, which is open to the public, welcomes civilians and shinobi alike on a daily basis. Within these walls, civilians can efficiently address a wide range of administrative matters, while shinobi utilize this area to both receive and submit completed missions, as well as to mark their significant promotions and accomplishments.

The second section, concealed from public access, harbors the Lord's office, located atop the building's highest floor. Entry into this section is restricted to individuals with the requisite permissions and appointments, and it is rigorously guarded and closely monitored. Within these secure confines, the most critical and sensitive affairs of the village are meticulously attended to, safeguarding its stability and prosperity.

In the third section, below the busy upper floors of the building, in its hidden basement, you'll find the secret core of the headquarters. Only a few people know about this hidden place, and it's kept very secret. This is where the SHUKAN Operatives do their secret missions and tasks, working in the dark to protect the village from hidden dangers, something only a few people know about.

Nestled in the northernmost reaches of the village, the grandeur of the Taki Lord's mansion commands attention. Perched atop a serene, elevated hill, this splendid residence is the private residence of the village's leader. Access to this place is a privilege reserved solely for those fortunate enough to receive a personal invitation from the housemaster.

Located in the southeastern heart of the village lies the Compound of the Mikatakujira clan, an architectural masterpiece steeped in history and tradition. This ancestral estate stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of one of the village's oldest and most revered clans.

Nestled on the western side of the village, the Yamakira compound stands as a testament to tradition and resilience. This vast Compound, shrouded in an air of mystery, keeps its doors firmly shut, adhering faithfully to the time-honored principles of the Yamakira Clan. Within these hallowed walls, a sacred belief endures: only the most tenacious and indomitable among them are deemed worthy of pursuing their destinies. It is not uncommon to hear sounds of brawls from over the walls.

Situated on the western bank of the Great River and near the lush expanse of the clan's time-honored farmlands, lies the Tokonatsu Compound, a sprawling testament to the clan's enduring legacy. For as long as the village itself has thrived, the clan has meticulously tilled and cultivated the very fields that stretch beyond the compound's boundaries.

Nestled on the northeastern outskirts of the village, just a stone's throw away from the village's headquarters lies Takigakure Academy. This educational institution serves as the primary training ground for budding shinobi, equipping them, in the course of four years, with the essential knowledge and skills required for a life of military service. However, due to the prolonged periods of peace that the village has enjoyed, the curriculum at the Academy extends beyond the martial arts, encompassing a diverse array of subjects.

The Academy itself boasts a two-story structure, complete with ample outdoor training areas as well as indoor facilities. Its strategic location places it in close proximity to the bustling Business Zone, a fact not lost on the Academy's students. The Great Tree, nestled at the heart of Takigakure no Sato, stands as the village's most precious treasure and its very lifeline. Possessing remarkable qualities, it serves as a guardian of the village's secrecy, shrouding it in an ever-present veil of chakra-infused mist. This mystical mist forms a captivating illusion, confounding those who seek to traverse the surrounding lands, permitting access solely to the village's inhabitants.

Perched upon an island-like formation amidst tranquil waters, the Great Tree's sanctuary can be reached solely via a single bridge, vigilantly watched over by guardians around the clock. Entry to this revered place is an exclusive privilege, reserved for those holding a valid permit. Most often, visitors venture here for the rare occasion that arises only once every century – the collection of the ethereal Dew, a substance of unparalleled significance. Additionally, medics, researchers, and scientists seek to gather herbs from the untamed wilderness surrounding the tree. These herbs, when carefully prepared, hold the power to alleviate the ailments of the sick and weary, with the most potent among them hailing from the very leaves of the Giant Tree itself. These leaves possess the miraculous ability to mend even the gravest of wounds when properly applied.

Within this guarded enclave, the bridge and its immediate surroundings are subjected to relentless surveillance and protection, ensuring the sanctity of the Great Tree and the village it shields from prying eyes.

The Great Bridge connects the two shores of Takigakure's west and east sides, which were separated by the Great River, which flows through the village's south side. The bridge is quite wide and made of stone, making it very sturdy and capable of handling a large amount of traffic, whether on foot or by other means. The Great Bridge is also a well-known viewing point for the Great Tree, as it provides the best view. People may cross the bridge whenever they wish.
