Sat up in the stands exactly where he was expected to be, Itsuki looked down onto the arena with an odd feeling as he popped some sort of sweet and savoury snack into his mouth. It was kinda weird to be on the other side of this whole thing, having been about a year ago that he himself had been in the exams. Now he was here to support someone who he would have considered a rival at best back then.

Life truly was unpredictable.

Mo-chi was clearly very confident right now, and the appearance of clones had him snickering slightly. Much like Mi-chi, Mo-chi was quite fond of using clones, and Itsuki couldn't find it in himself to be surprised that the younger boy had started out with such a technique. Though it seemed that the Ame-nin he was up against wasn't exactly a push over either, the blade in his hands a danger to both original and clones.

"What do you think Mi-chi, is Mo-chi gonna blow too much chakra again? He gets grumpy if things don't go his way, and it would be a shame to have to cheer him up today, ne?" he stated with a lilting sing-song.
