Amidst the wildly cheering crowd gathered in the pop-up Thunderdome were the rest of the genin watching the ongoing fight, as well as family, friends, mentors, and other various supporters of the participants of the battles to come.

Plenty of seats with fantastic views were available, as well as refreshments of all kinds sold from small stands set up by the Kisei clan of Kusagakure and various Kaminari no Kuni merchants: hot and iced tea, hot and iced coffee, candyfloss, dragon's beard, nuts and jerky and all kinds of snacks to munch on while watching the bouts with bated breath.

The ninth bout was announced with a booming voice from a Fuijyama clan member: "GIVE IT UP FOR ONE OF OUR VERY OWN KYUUMU CLAN: KYUUMU SUZAKU OF KUMOGAKURE AND HIS EXTREMELY LOUD CROWS, VERSUS MURAMATSA JUN OF YUKIGAKURE!"

By now he had a grasp, not a firm grasp, but a good idea of what these Genin could do. He was more than aware of Jun however, as he had made a point to know all he could simply due to her being part of the diplomatic corp. He was learning more about how she actually handled herself however the more the exams went on, and while he wanted to yell like an overly involved parent from a sideline, he was equally as proud as one for her standing here, at least in his own Daigo way.

He knew much less about her opponent, but he knew more than perhaps he might have been expected to, but only because he was in fact from this very country they stood within the bounds of. His ventures and plans that revolved around Kumo caused him to learn more about their village and the shinobi within; the Kyuumu happening to be one of them, if to a lesser extent than he would have liked. All he knew of the Kyuumu across from Jun however, was he used wind in some fashion, but he wasn't the one having to fight them, so hopefully Jun knew more than he did. He took all he had not to start barking orders and instructions more than cheering, as he found a seat as close to the action as was possible, and watched intently.

Thankfully unlike the other rounds, he wasn't stuck watching on a poor quality screen, and could get a birds eye view, though not quite as literally as the ones circling above. As Jun was officially introduced, he found he was easily the loudest in the crowd, given he was one of far less than he would have liked from Yuki that were here in the crowd.

"Jun! Get'em! Make me proud!"

His voice echoed all the way across the arena as he sat back down ready to watch.

Nashida, standing at a nearly monstrous height, likely has a better view of the arena than most of the others, even though she has been asked politely to stand further back so that she doesn't get in anyone else's way. She couldn't really help that she was over seven feet tall, so she simply had to bear with standing far to the back instead of sitting in the normal seats. Her arms were crossed as she watches Jun's match start; while she probably felt that she had performed poorly in the previous two rounds, the blonde kunoichi felt that she'd done admirably. She couldn't really afford to show off too much during those previous rounds, but now she could let loose with her Fuuinjutsu, if she wanted to. With the sealing arts being so complex, there was no way it could so easily be prepared for, if she wanted to make use of her eyes now.

While she wanted to cheer the other woman on with her own voice, she's almost literally in enemy territory; some Kumogakure shinobi is her opponent, and they're in the heart of the Land of Lightning, so it might not be the smartest to cheer Jun on to beat this Suzaku boy with these people nearby, even if her imposing stature made her rather intimidating. Not to mention her mode of dress, with the military garb standing out with its bold blue colors and the white trim. Her own bear-hide cloak was beginning to take on a more tailored appearance, as she's started her work with making it into a form of armor she'll be able to show off to the Tantetsu clan and be named an adult, despite living in Yukigakure. It'd get Kazeo out of her house, or at the very least he'd have to actually teach her how to use the Steel Release before he goes. For now, the symbol of Yukigakure on her breast and the back of her cloak marks the pride she takes in her village allegiance, and she feels that Jun will be able to finish these exams strong.

It was good to see a representative from Yuki here using Fuin, but he knew better than most from their village how much of an edge you walked when using sealing techniques. They were certainly more powerful than often given credit for, but they were also not the quickest methods of combat. In mid thought he found himself having to raise up an arm to shield his eyes from a sudden flash of light, grumbling to himself as he lowered it, seeing a surprise; there were two Genin in this fight willing to use Fuinjutsu. Simple seal, simple use, but certainly the potential to be effective, but how would Jun react.

Leaning forward, he was already more composed than when the fight started moments earlier as he yelled out towards Jun, but now he was quiet and watching carefully and curiously. This was certainly an exam for the potential raising of ranks, but Daigo was watching with his own mental test being prepared. Depending on how this fight went, there was a wide array of responses she wouldn't know were coming when they got back home. It was certainly hard for him to simply sit quietly and watch with a fight like this, even for someone like himself who hated taking the Chuunin exams, and didn't particularly like getting into fights, but this was Yukigakure against Kumogakure, and that lit a spark of competitive nature in his mind.
