Amidst the wildly cheering crowd gathered in the pop-up Thunderdome were the rest of the genin watching the ongoing fight, as well as family, friends, mentors, and other various supporters of the participants of the battles to come. Plenty of seats with fantastic views were available, as well as refreshments of all kinds sold from small stands set up by the Kisei clan of Kusagakure and various Kaminari no Kuni merchants: hot and iced tea, hot and iced coffee, candyfloss, dragon's beard, nuts and jerky and all kinds of snacks to munch on while watching the bouts with bated breath. The tenth bout was announced with a booming voice from a Fuijyama clan member: "HIESEN MAIRUSU OF KONOHAGAKURE VERSUS, FRESH FROM RUNNING WITH THE WOLVES, IT'S KUMOGAKURE'S OWN IKONOKORU YAMATSU!" Risi watches with delight as his lover begins his round of combat. He'd been slightly worried during the second round, and even though Yamatsu technically did not complete the race within the required time limit, he felt that perhaps the tanned Genin had figured out that the second round was more about the chakra preservation rather than the victory in the race. He still holds out hope for his lover, even if it wasn't entirely likely that he would have the greatest score. Risi could tell that Yamatsu was fired up and still ready to go after the second round, and he knows his boyfriend is going to do great. He'd taken down a bear, after all! This Marysue guy couldn't be as strong as a bear, there was no way!

He cheers even more as the twin wolves are summoned; with Oki and Ino, this went quickly from a one on one fight to a three on one beatdown; it practically wasn't fair to his opponent, but that hardly mattered. The spectacle of the ravens made of flame coalescing on the other shinobi's location made his heart flutter, a sign of his adoration for Risi, as well as Risi's effect on Yamatsu's own method of combat. They were coming together now to keep him on the defensive, which was actually getting Risi's blood up as he surprises himself with his own uncharacteristic excitement.

Mairasu's turn to show off in combat, or rather to try to. Yaki was admittedly rather aggrivated by the young man's willingness to allow for more then just one summon to be called before he truly responded to the Kumo genin she knew simply as Yamatsu. Having trained with both sage apprentices she was fully aware of both their statuses, and frankly Yakitsu had no reason to cheer for Konoha, except this was her fellow snake sage in training, something that she wanted to prove was peerless personally. Mairasu's first move was slow, and while she was used to him being slow on the uptake of things she had honestly still expected way more of a show out of the gate from him given his own propensity to try and show off in front of others - assumed by hers truly to be his real personality, not that she had ever really seen this outside of some baseless flirting that he would attempt with others. Grumbling to some extent she would glare down at the young man even has he lit himself up like a lighthouse beacon to blind his now threefold competition. Turning instead turning to a kumogakure member who was sure to be hoarse soon with how loud he was cheering for the young man Mairasu was fighting, "Your prossspect isss quite good. Though it hasss me wondering what that dolt isss thinking letting Ikonokoru-Sssan sssummon not one, but two alliesss. Thoughtsss?" Risi would be lying if he said that he wasn't worried about Yamatsu and how he was doing in his own fight, but he did have faith that the shinobi had enough tools in his kit that he could meet any struggle and overcome it. He was a bit surprised at the other ninja that appears to be watching the fight fairly closely as well, but with a completely different kind of expression on their face. He almost thought they might be a woman at first blush, simply because of the long hair, but he supposed that he was living proof that even long hair and clothing couldn't be used to determine what someone really was. And that had more meaning than the one he might have intended with that thought, considering what he was to the Inshi family.

But he didn't need to think about the Kyuumu at the moment, he should focus more on the fight and how Yamatsu was doing in it. He turns to give the stranger a smile when she asks the question, though he does find it exceedingly strange that all of the "s" sounds that she makes seem drawn out, like a hiss from one of those cockroaches he's been told scurry around in Bonchi no Kuni. They did ask him his thoughts, though, so he might as well give it to her straight, even though he can clearly see that this other ninja is from the same village as Mairasu's.

"Oh, the Mairasu guy is pretty okay. But in a fight with my Yamatsu?~"

He pauses for a moment, pantomiming deep thought and doubts with the first sentence, before his expression changes to one of confidence and self-satisfaction as he asks the question, apparently to himself, since he answers the question he's just posed to the other person.

"Nah, he'd win!~"
