Listening to the Senju closely, Kazui nodded her head in agreement to his suggested plan. She was aware that her sensory capabilities were nigh unmatched so it was almost always her responsibility to keep a watchful eye over the surroundings of her squadron, as well as all of those in her company, including herself. The ravenette batted her eyes momentarily as she broke away from the pair of jonin, a murder of crows traded places with the young kunoichi as she flickered away and took post in the raven’s nest.

The girl remained quiet and reserved as she overlooked her station, the crew below, and the calm waters they sailed. She fell back for a moment as one of the crew members peered through a scope - allowing him to see far ahead. As of now the man saw no threat brewing, and fortunately Kazui would agree. "Sigh.” She’d take note of her senses, collecting information on the merchant ship’s nearby before looking down and giving Kazuto a calm nod signifying that the coast was clear for now and all was going well.

From the coast of Oetsu things began to pick up threat wise but more so by way of the treacherous storms that the crew had to face. Lightning strikes, strong winds, and crashing waves - Kazui would do her best to ward off as much of the lightning as she could as the crew eventually passed through Roran and Cha no Kuni and made their way to the southern border of Hi no Kuni. Kazui would be lying if she said she weren’t happy to finally be in more familiar territory, though that didn’t make their journey any easier. There was still an objective that they’d need to complete and until said objective was completed the jonin knew to keep her head on a swivel.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

As suspected, this stretch of the voyage was the calmest. For a while, the hatch was left open to allow the smiths some cooler air. A few of the sailors had even played cards near the bow, looking south as they talked about the Ranmantaru Empire. Their stop there in Kiyoshi's expedition had been something else, according to them - but they personally hadn't been allowed far from the ship, which they seemed to be bitter about.

But all things considered, they reached Oetsu without issue. The few ships they had passed had been fishing vessels, or ships making the long trip from the Cha peninsula all the way up and around the west of the continent. Most seemed to be heading east, as they pulled into the port, nearing sunset. No sign of their pursuers had been spotted - reassuring, perhaps, but also worrying.

The sailors tied the ship to one of the docks while answering Kazuto's question - they'd be spending the night in Oetsu, the first real 'stop' of the trip. Potentially the last before their arrival in Hi no Kuni, since everyone would feel safest once they'd set feet on true land.

The crew began to file off of the ship and into the city as a Shinobi pushed past them up the plank and greeted the trio as the hatch to the hull opened. "Evening," he said with a bow. The man was about 30, plain features. A Jounin, by his tan-and-black attire, with a large mass on his back - puppets, probably.

"word reached Sunagakure about the mercenaries who attacked your ship. The Kazekage -" in truth, his assistant and son, Katsue Koki, on pre-written orders, "- sent me to lead a pair of ships to accompany you as far as Hi no Kuni, to ensure no more troubles. Chikamatsu Dai." He bowed again, pointed over to a pair of ships slightly smaller than their vessel.

The smiths appeared from the hull, walking a bit more stiffly than they had at their first meeting. Dai stepped aside and let them pass, followed behind them, and the Shinobi. "No need to worry about the ship," he said while pointing out a cluster of lower-ranked Shinobi who were watching from the balcony of a building. "it'll be kept safe."

Sailors split off in different directions, but their party of the smiths, Okami, and Dai, made their way to an inn in the 'nicer' part of the city, which had been garrisoned with Kaze no Kuni troops. The smiths were placed in a central room to sleep in, the others in a smaller, adjoining one. "Try to get some rest," Dai said as he slid the shoji door closed. "the seas will be rough tomorrow."

"If I ever meet the Kazekage, I will be sure to thank for him for his generosity." Kazuto replied with a bow to the new acquaintance from Sunagakure. Even so, when the security seemed to be heigtened he would still have a sense of disquiet about how the situation had seemed to develop and as well about leaving the ship. He knew that the village had made good progress in claiming the always problematic western region of Kaze no Kuni, but he didn't want to simply rest when danger seemed to lurk from the place they less expected. As he followed the procession of the smiths with the Shinobi from Sungakure, listening to the plan of him taking care of the ship. "Very well." He said, giving the man a curt bow before he would return to the his companions for this quest. "Your compatriot seems diligent." He said in a whisper to Yosen "What is your opinion of him?" He asked earnestly, more in curiosity rather than in suspicion of form of sabotage. But if Yosen had anything to share about Chikamatsu Dai, he was certain that he would do so. "Other than that, I'm not entirely sure I feel comfortable with leaving the ship behind." He told them both. As they made their way into the inn that Sunagakure had procured for the expedition. It was certainly well maintained and kept for a region that was once described to him as a hive of villainy. And everywhere he would look, he could see the naunced evidence of shinobi taking a positions to watch the general area. As they entered the inn he considered the location that the smiths had been placed on before going to the room that had been assiged for him. "Well... Nothing we can do but adapt." He told himself before releasing a sigh.

Watching as the ship slowly made its way into the dock, Yosen would have a perfect view from his guard spot at the front of the ship as he slowly took in the scenery of Oetsu before him. Spotting the figure going against the crowd of sailors exiting the ship, Yosen would silently make his way towards the boat's plank and meet up with the leaf ninja near the hatch of the boat. Exiting from the shadows just as the middle-aged man would begin to speak to the group. Yosen would give the shinobi who would introduce himself as Dai, a quick bow. Almost instantly recognizing the voice of the man now in front of them, as he was the current Lieutenant of the Puppet corps.

Looking over to the vessel ships that the Lieutenant pointed out, Yosen would take note of the shinobi that had come to help assist them on this portion of the mission. Knowing the profiles of some due to his direct job for Kazi No Kuni, and even noticing some of his own younger clansmen were among those that had come along today. Given Yosen some confidence in this group being able to hold down the ship while they docked for the night.

Stepping to the side with his mission team, Yosen would respond to the question of the Senju in a low tone to better keep his response to the ears of them. "Dai is a master shinobi of his craft”. Keeping his response simple, and to the point not wanting to revile too much about the puppet master on the slight chance of enemies listening in the port. "But in regards of the ship, I can stay hidden here while you two go to the inn.” Finishing the conversation with the leaf shinobi, Yosen would make his exit back into the shadows as he stayed to watch the ship while the rest of the group went to the inn.

Steadily making her way down from her position in the crow’s nest, Kazui alongside her accompanying watchman would be one of the few last members to exit the vessel. Unable to hear much of the discussion being had, the woman was just glad now to be able to step foot onshore once again as traveling the seas for extended periods of time was very unforgiving on the body, and besides she was still in the prime of her youth - dark greys cut to her comrades with a concerned look hidden behind sharp squinting eyes. The same couldn’t be said for them however, they were getting older, so surely it would’ve been just as rough on them as it was on her.

The ravenette stretched her arms out across her chest, stretched her legs as well before reaching towards the sky and standing on her tippy toes, any discomfort from being in a cramped space for so long would wash away as blood began to flow properly without any restrictions. A slight yawn parted the woman’s lips as she turned to face Yosen, a single arm held out in his path to stop him in his tracks.

"Get some rest. The ship is accounted for.” Kazui voiced through her soft spoken tone. "You have faith in these men, yes? Then there is no reason to forgo your own comfort and health to ensure the safety of the vessel. Besides..” Turning to face the Senju accompanying them, a sense of trust and familiarity grew in Kazui’s heart. A hand lifted to vaguely gesture at the tall brown haired man as he spoke with other members of the crew. "If anything happens, a couple hours of repairs…if that..and we’re on our way.” A shrug would end the Uchiha’s statement and regardless of the decision made Kazui would slowly make her way towards the inn.

As all the smiths filed into the central room, it appeared as if Kazuto, Yosen, and Kazui were all set to share a smaller room adjacent to the central room occupied by the smiths. Kazui sighed as she picked her area and promptly laid her head to rest, eyes watching the ceiling for what felt like an hour before she dozed off.

The mercenaries slipped past in the night, holed up with their ship(s) inside a cove hidden behind the cliffs. Without their sensor, they planned an ambush - but now Kazuto, Kazui, and Yosen can formulate and execute a plan, or an ambush of their own.

As had been promised, the night was uneventful - both at the inn and at the ship. While the rest of the city was constantly raucous, a few blocks around the inn had been kept clear and quiet to allow the smiths and shinobi a good night's rest. The few ruffians who tried to approached the ship in the dark of night were warded away without incident by the Genin posted nearby.

They were waken at dawn, allowed a small window of time to scarf down a cheap but filling traditional Kaze no Kuni breakfast. The sort of bready, game-filled food that would fuel one through a trip over the sea of dunes - it would more than suffice for the forthcoming oceans.

Dai led them back to their ship before the rush of people descended on the docks, and their trio of ships set out, the smiths once more safely stowed within. All hands aboard were refreshed and eager to catch the winds, though minds were still concerned with their likely followers. Eyes scanned the horizon, but nothing could be seen - not that anyone suspected they'd be brash enough to descend on Oetsu.

They turned east out of the bay and set off. Dai's ship followed closely behind their own, the puppeteer spending the time tending to his tools - trusting Kazui's sensory as a timer. The third ship tailed quite a way behind, the Chuunin within using some kind of technique to 'mask' their vessel, blending it into the shimmering waves.

They saw the storm clouds long before the black stone cliffs of the southern shore. Odd, natural iron spikes jutted out from the seas, and horizontally overhead as they passed by. A heavy downpour had set in about a half hour ago, followed by cracks of lightning that struck the iron. No one lived even remotely close to these parts, so the presence of nearly four dozen tightly packed chakra signatures hiding within a jagged cove above was difficult to miss.

Dai's ship waited abreast, the Jounin looking over to the trio for a plan on how to proceed. They had the upper hand now, the opportunity to stage a reverse ambush, if they wished - the signatures did not move. Evidently, they'd been unable to replace their sensor. Rain poured down the slick black stone cliffs - they'd be difficult to walk upon, but not impossible with enough creativity. Otherwise, some plan regarding preparation, or the ships, was possible.

At the moment, the third ship still sat a while behind to act as surprise backup, but could be called forward. Dai's ship sat beside the shinobis'.

Kazui awakened rather early, probably much earlier than most of the others due to the fact that she was always a bit on edge about her surroundings, though it didn’t go to mention that she enjoyed getting a head start on the day. Nevertheless, the kunoichi didn’t waste time to get things kicked off. Quickly scarfing down a light breakfast and making her way back towards the vessel - giving a nod of gratitude to the genin who were tasked with guard duty.

Back into the raven’s nest Kazui went, and she would remain there for the entirety of the crew's journey. The jonin focused on her chakra as they pulled out towards the east and continued to their destination. With supporting ships trailing, the ravenette made sure to keep track of them as well to ensure to take everyone into account in her planning. A sigh parted her lips as her eyes watched the dark clouds grow more and more prominent across the horizon. "Rough waters ahead.” She mentioned, ensuring that everyone was prepared.

As they progressed forward the sights of the black stone cliffs brought forth a discovery of a group of individuals who were hidden off inside one of the coves. "There.” The Uchiha pointed out both physically and verbally, singling out the black stone cliffs as if there were something of merit to be seen, to the others they’d be relatively clueless of what the woman was getting at. "Those coves are housing a group of mercenaries, and my sensory tells me that they’re the same men that we had to chase off just days prior.” Kazui voiced as she looked around at the accompanying vessels.

"If I had to guess, I’d say they’re probably waiting and formulating a plan to ensure the success of future attempts. Though now with no sensor shinobi amongst their ranks…” Folding her arms across her chest, a hand rested gently beneath her chin before gesturing vaguely towards the cliffs. "There would be no better time to crush them than now.” She mentioned as she gently batted her eyes. Despite the fact that she’d much rather just try to get to their destination as quickly as possible, the jonin knew it’d be best to handle them now rather than playing cat and mouse some time later down the line.

"I say we get the ghost vessel involved, use it to get as close as possible to our targets before launching our attack on both the ship and crewmen alike…even if we don’t manage to clear all of the mercenaries, it’s important that we render their vessel useless.” Looking towards her sensei, the young woman awaited to see if he agreed or had anything to further add. Subsequently, the ravenette would look to Yosen as well to get his opinion. Aware of the Senju’s prowess with silent killing and the flying thunder god technique, she knew he was capable of causing great damage and quickly. Though, she was still relatively unaware of Yosen’s ability to be exact.

This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

It was a restless night for him. Not out of a sense that there were in imminent danger, but merely as a fact of his own experience as being an ANBU. He would only sleep soundly when they returned to the village. But even with that in mind he would be able to perform in combat, should the need arise. Getting a couple of hours of rest, he would awake before anyone would knock at his door. Getting his things and having a quick bite of the food that they were offered before he would make his way back into the boat, making a quick inspection even when he trusted the shinobi Sunagakure had provided. As the ship would begin sailing to the destiny, alongside with other ships part of the reinforcements from their allied village, they could wait for something to happen or for them to reach their destination. As the downpour of pelting rain began and the sea began choppy, with jagged spikes of the sea emerging from the waves, he would look towards the crow's nest, at the Uchiha would call the likelihood of an ambush awaiting for them and by the same shinobi that attacked them before no less. They needed to decide soon. Quietly, he listened to the proposal of the Uchiha, and he didn't have any objection. If they could engage them in their own terms and seek a way to sprung their ambush against them, they could have an easier journey to Sunagakure. "If we go with the ghost ship, we can get the jump on them." He said, agreeing with his student. "But one of us should remain. We can cripple the ship but we can't let the smiths unguarded." He said, considering their choices as the time worked against them, their decision would need to be made and soon. "I will go in the shrouded ship." He said in an assured tone, waiting to listen to the Uchiha and Yosen.

The night spent docked at the port, and off the ship would be a quite peaceful one for Yosen, as he spent most of it in a meditated state so that he would not lose complete alertness while he rested. Using a technique, he learned in his younger days when he first joined the Anbu. Keeping his rest to only the amount his body truly needed Yosen would find himself rising earlier than most on the voyage. Exiting his room and using the shadows as he was so accustomed to doing. He would move through the inn almost as though he was a ghost of the place creating not a single sound as he did. Yosen Making his way to quickly grab some food and exit the inn before anyone was able to notice him.

Reaching the ship, Yosen would instantly make his presence known to the Suna Genin that stood watch of the boat while they were docked. Keeping his conversation and greetings brief with them as he boarded the ship while many of them greeted him as the Blade of Dragon Spire. Yosen would make sure to take a better look at some of those that Dai had brought along with him to have some faces to better remember for his current scouting project he was doing with the Genin in the village.

Hidden in the shadows at the front of the boat, Yosen would find himself a spot to remain out the sight of most as he hid his presence and looked over the front part of the ship, and out into the vast ocean in front of them. Hearing the Uchiha speak, Yosen would make sure to be extra alert to anything that he might see in front of them. Listening to what the Uchiha and Senju had to say about the current situation that now found itself in front of them. "I can stay with the smiths; Dai and my fellow Suna Shinobi should be more than enough to guard the smiths”. Yosen would say loud enough for both the leaf shinobi to hear him while he still stayed hidden.

Those who entered the cove with the stealth ship have an opportunity to perform a stealth attack.

After, one of the Missing-nin summons a gigantic squid which blocks the entrance and proceeds to attack the ships on both the inside and outside.

POST

The third ship pulled up slowly. Those who were headed into the cove loaded onto the ship, Dai and the others remaining with the smiths. The Chuunin aboard cast the technique again, shrouding the ship in a shimmery half-sight that would obscure them from all but the most vigilant observation. They slowly headed around the cliff.

The sound of thunder echoed as they passed into the darkness of the cavernous cove. Deeper in, they could see the two remaining Missing-nin sat in meditation on the furthest back of three ships. The other two were of a smaller, different make - no doubt commandeered from the islanders upon their return after the ruin of their other two ships.

Their ship silently and stealthily floated in, despite the guards posted on lookout. They were well within now, and had a moment to perform a stealth attack - soon though, a crack of lightning crossed the entrance of the cove and lit it in blue, causing one of the men posted to see the faint shimmer of their ship and yell out an alarm, if they hadn't already done so following an attack.

The mercenaries aboard the three ships were taken entirely off guard, panicking and running around to grab their weapons which were stowed. The two Missing-nin, however, had been waiting. The one on the right leaped up, spear in hand, spinning it wildly to deflect any incoming attack and protect his comrade - the one they'd seen putting out the fire on the ship that sunk.

That man knelt forward, unfurled a massive scroll and slapped a hand down. A massive wave of water rocked the ships in the cove as a gargantuan squid rose up from the water and hooked some of his tentacles to spikes of iron, blocking off the entrance.

On the outside, the summon's massive tentacles reached out and slapped at the closer of their two ships, the one without the smiths. Dai rapidly released his puppets, which skittered up and blocked the tentacles from smashing their vessel.

On the inside, two of the tentacles waggled into a mock handseal as a screech filled the now-enclosed cove. The squid charged up and released a beam of poisonous black ink, aiming to coat the deck of their small ship with it.

The summoner - visibly drained - got up and grabbed his spear, before leaping to the ship on the right - the one that'd protected him, the left. The duo prepared for a fight as the mercenaries were still scattered about, trying to muster a response.

[Senju Kazuto]

The Senju kept true to his word, taking a leap into the ghost vessel, followed by whomever had decided to join him. As the flotilla advanced and the third ship made its silent entry into the cove that shielded the enemy from the storm. His eyes glared at the shadow of the jagged rocks that made the cul-de-sac in the raging waters of the sea. He closed his eyes, drawing in the frigid air of raging ocean and salty wind, as rain pelted him, his hand forming a single string of hand seals as his chakra began to mold and tap into the arcane gene alchemy in his blood. In the moment the mercenaries would look at the shape of the vessel and panicked whilst their shinobi cohorts would maintain the calm, trees began to emerge, blossoms of pink and silvery cherry appeared on every branch of the myriad of trees within heartbeats and then detach in the darkness, the trees themselves turning into dust as they would fly upwards. This time wouldn't need to aim, as the maelstrom of petals would coalesced he would simply wave his hand down towards the vessels and with that the blossoms that blotted out the heavens would fall as one of the shinobi finished summoning the squid. He heard the commotion in the back as the sailors and suna shinobi would point the massive beast that blocked the way out of the cove but he didn't care as he guided the unending stream of sharp knives towards the two vessels, the ships would become engulfed as each petal tried to sheer, to render, to cut through wood, cloth, steel, muscle and bone as both ships were threatened to be swallowed by a hail of steel. He turned his sight to the massive beast as it stretched its tentacles unto the cove, stopping them from leaving and bringing two of its appendages together, the Senju would swing his other hand. Tendrils of the hail would disperse and then coalescing into tendrils that shot towards the tentacles that surrounded the rocks and the ones it brought before its awful, giant of a beak, in an attempt to cut the soft flesh of the massive squid and stop whatever it was about to do at the moment.

DESCRIPTION:

By using the innate qualities of Mokuton to create foliage and vegetation, the user create a blooming forest of cherry blossoms, either from the very soil or from preexisting vegetation. The trees themselves are nothing special as they expire relatively quickly, however the petals of the cherry blossoms remain, as with chakra they harden and sharpen, gaining the constitution and sharpness of a dagger.

With a command of the user, the petals detach from the branches of the trees and coalesce into a stream of nigh countless petals, plunging towards the foe, drowning the enemy into a sea of puncturing knives withing a range of a hundred meters. The user can control the direction of the stream, whoever doing so costs more chakra that simply send the tidal wave of cherry blossoms in a single direction. Under normal circumstances once the attack ends the petals wither and die, however as long as the user pours chakra into the jutsu the petals still retain their sharp and strong steel nature, even after their initial attack. However this drains chakra at a rapid pace, exerting caution from the user.

The Branching Path

A true-born Senju, Kazuto has mastered Mokuton. Hailed as the one greatest master of the Kekkei Genkai, his abilities with Mokuton are held in high regard, mastering the many techniques for which the clan is renown whilst also bending his ingenuity to create a discipline of his own referred by those within the clan as merely the branching path and by him as Senbonzakura. His techniques can either be great in power and scope or subtle and deceptively simple, creating either durable wooden constructs, imaginative tools for a wide range of occasions or deadly hails storms of cherry blossom petals which Kazuto wields with great mastery.

Might of Heroes


Descendant of a great lineage, the blood of great and legendary heroes of the clan courses through the veins of Kazuto as they do with any other Senju. As such he has been bestowed with robust pools of chakra upon his birth. Through intense training and countless missions these pools of chakra have expanded quite considerably, becoming a Furnace of Might within him, allowing him to fight for longer periods of time and casting powerful techniques without much concern to run out of stamina. Although this chakra makes his control suffer, his impressive reserves make up for this deficit in control.

Paragon of War

His mind is as keen and sharp as blade recently sharpened by a whetstone. Through the learning of tactics, records, on field experience and on the fly ingenuity, the Senju is able to plan before, during and after a fierce fray. It is thanks to this that he can discern the correct course of action and what stratagems and actions should he take. He is able to read and keep the Flow of Battle as flexible as possible. His tactics range from the most subtle ambush within dark corridors to even the most brutal and grim battlefield.

Fell-Handed

After much study and training, Kazuto achieved the ability to weave hand seals and cast techniques with just One Hand. A rare skill among shinobi and a sign of great prowess, the Senju is able to form hand signs forgoing the need to bring the digits of both his hands together, he is able to string a number of techniques without worrying during a fray to be unable to complete techniques if someone targets his hand, as he is able to defend himself with the off-hand by either the use of a technique or by wielding a weapon.

"So be it.” Kazui said in response to Yosen choosing to stay on board with the smiths. Turning to face Kazuto, the Uchiha gave a nod before making her choice as well. "I’ll be with you, Kazuto-Sensei.” Much like their time shared in the anbu, she wondered if the man still had it like before. Regardless, the young woman boarded the ghost vessel as she could provide a good backup for the Senju. "Yosen, you all can watch our six as well in case anything goes wrong.”

With that said the ghost ship took the lead as it sailed forward into the black stone coves. Kazui remained calm, collected, and focused as she sat and focused her mind's eye into the area - gathering great detail on who was where and doing what. Once close enough, Kazui turned to face the Senju, giving him a nod. It was her sign that he was free to take action. Within moments roots of trees and vegetation arose from the mountainsides - producing steel-like sakura in waves and waves. They’d crash with force, tearing almost all things in their path into ribbons as the blossoms ripped through the opposition.

Kazui remained focused on the chakra output in the immediate area, honing her abilities down to get a better read on the battlefield. She’d deliberately focus on the stronger threats and noticed that one was preparing for a summon. Her eyes widened as Kazui stood up to her height, turning to face the now giant squid blocking the entrance they had taken.

She didn’t waste much time however, in quick succession the woman flashed through two sets of handseals and took action. Leaping forward, Kazui unlatched the gunbai fastened to her waist, unfolded it, and swung the thing with force. A strong gust of wind rushed from the fan and towards the ink stream created by the summon, scattering the ink back towards the squid and the area surrounding it. The woman quickly reattached her fan to her waist and began to launch another jutsu seamlessly after launching the first. As she held a seal with a single hand, this time around the water beneath them began to quake and spin before quickly taking the form of a giant wave - rushing for none other than the summon in hopes of knocking the creature free from the iron spikes and pushing it away.

DESCRIPTION:
A simple Fuuton technique created by previous elders of the Uchiha clan, despite not many Uchiha being capable of utilizing the wind element. The basis of the technique is simple, after forming three handseals, the user will extend both of the arms outward and utilize their fuuton chakra to blow back any physical attacker, debris, or weaker ninjutsu (so long as it is not katon) equally strength jutsu will ultimately get cancelled out as well, and can even send heavy projectiles back towards the target, although S Rank equipment enhanced with chakra would be able to get through the high pressure. The pressure of the jutsu is enough to break small boulders into pieces, and the wind is blown in every direction, leaving no angle unaccounted for. In addition, this jutsu can be channeled into weapons such as shields and even swords, allowing the user to block an attack and use the high pressure fuuton to blow the attack back towards the target.

DESCRIPTION:
This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

With the two shinobi from the leaf agreeing to Yosen’s input on the plan, they would soon make their way to board the ghost vessel for the sneak attack. Leaving Yosen to be left with the rest of the shinobi from the Land of the Wind brought by the Puppet Master Dai. A group Yosen had more than enough faith in being able to aid him and the others on their mission as he scanned through the lot once again.

Listening to the Uchiha speak as they boarded the ghost ship, Yosen would make his exit from the shadows, as he made his response to her. "We shall keep things covered from this side, though if things go wrong my first move will be to get the Smiths to safety. While having Dai and the others move in to assist you guys." Yosen would say while giving Dai a quick look to make sure he and the puppet master were on the same page.

Seeing the Senju, and Uchiha off, Yosen would once again find himself back hidden in the shadows, as he swiftly moved across the deck of the boat to check and make sure that the smiths where secure in the lower deck of the boat, while also taking the time to make his own defensive preparations in the slight chance that the leaf shinobi did fail on the surprise attack.

Though Yosen had more than enough faith in the two, especially as he saw glimpses of the cherry blossom petals over the ocean as the light from the sky made them visible. Reassuring him that those that chose to impede their mission today would show why they weren't to be toyed with.

Squid is defenseless on the outside, facing Yosen - though its' skin is thick and durable.

POST

A storm of petals shredded through the cove, ripping apart the vessels of the mercenaries. Those few that survived the onslaught found themselves dropped into the cold water as their ships rapidly turned into chunks of broken boards. The interior was a cacophony of thrashing, uproarious noises - the shrieking of the summoned squid, explosions of wood, the high-pitched whistle of the petals cutting through the air, screams and yells.

The beam of ink was intercepted by Kazui's Fuuton blast, sending splatters of ink shooting around to the stone walls of the cove, where it dripped down and into the water, seeming to suck away more of what little light there was. The beasts shrill shriek became a deafening roar as the black-flecked petals began to cut into the creature's thick skin, the beam vanishing. The surge of water smashed into the body of the summon, pushing it backwards as the the tentacles' grasp on the iron spikes loosened.

Light temporarily rushed in as shone through the newly formed gap, illuminating the wreckage. The two missing-nin were now in the back of the cove, the one who had summoned the beast standing up from the surface of the water, the who'd protected him panting from atop of chunk of ship that was floating in the black water. The light revealed cuts across the man's fingers, the haft of his spear splintered, pieces of the wood lodged into his flesh. With a grunt, his spear began to glow white, as did his comrades, just as darkness filled the cove once more.

The tentacles that'd been swiping at Dai and the ships outside retracted from the poisoned blows of the puppets, though they had not pierced the tough skin, and grabbed at more of the cliffside. With it's colossal mass, the squid shoved itself back into place - generating a massive wave of water as it did so. Everything in the cove shot to the back wall, corpses and the still-living smashing up against it, along with the remains of the two ships. The missing-nin leaped up and precariously clung to the top of the wall to avoid the carnage.

The ghost ship rode the wave to the back, bumping up against the wall, but the hull held, cushioned by the debris in the inky water. Above them, the white spears of the two missing-nin glowed in the dim light - with paired handseals, the glow grew brighter and brighter until it was blinding, then the pair rained down a flurry of chakra-extended spear thrusts down onto the decks at Kazui and Kazuto and the other shinobi aboard.

Tightening its' grip, the squid turned its' focus entirely on the cove, exposing itself on the rear to Yosen and Dai, relying on its' thick skin to repel attacks. The roar faded into a low growl, then became an odd, high-pitched song, almost. Those within the cove who heard it - except for Kazui - would see numerous smaller tentacles rise up from the pitch-black water and grab their ankles, immobilizing them under the flurry of spear attacks from above.

If it were Kazui and just Kazui, the woman would say that their current situation was more or less good in a sense. There wasn’t much going on to cause the ravenette to want to switch things up and pull away from the attack, she could see by way of chakra and still defend herself as well. However that wasn't the case, as the giant squid continued to block out their light the young woman realized that her sensei may have been compromised by the low visibility. Trying her best to push the creature away, she only managed a couple meters of separation before it eventually readjusted its position and bunkered down yet again.

The sound of wreckage and chaos ensued. With the little light that managed to sneak through, Kazui was able to take note of all that was going on in a more detailed sense. She sighed just as their ship had been carried towards the back of the cove where the two remaining missing-nin were recovering and preparing for retaliation. The two clung to the back wall and with their chakra flowing they began to make their spears glow a bright vivid white that would flash Kazui, leaving her seeing little but the afterimages of what she once saw prior to being flashed. Shielding her eyes, the woman stumbled backwards, away from the front wall - bumping into the railing behind her and falling overboard. With a big splash, the Uchiha would find herself surrounded by ink, blood, and debris.

The girl sank and for a moment things were peaceful, a little too peaceful. Her mind rushed a mile a minute and for a moment, Kazui wandered if this was what the afterlife was like? Calm, serene, and peaceful. There wasn’t much sound reaching beneath the water, so even without her sharingan the ravenette would manage to avoid the genjutsu. Regardless, as she rushed back up to the top, Kazui opened her eyes and realized what was going on - and she had to act quickly; there wasn’t much time to waste.

Chakra flowed through her body as she pulled herself out of the water and stood on its surface. The woman wove through a set of seals at blistering speeds, and like before Kazui would utilize her rare suiton. "Suiton: Baku Suishouha!” However, instead of aiming the wave at the squid, Kazui focused on the ship she was on. The waves rocked the cove and sent their boat heading back towards the entrance - but most importantly the chakra-infused spears that rained down upon the crew and Kazuto simply fell into the waters below as the vessel was back in motion. Kazui on the other hand leapt back onto the vessel as it rushed towards the front of the cove. Once settled back onboard, she brought her hands together and, "Kai!” She’d free her comrades from their illusions - water dripping from her figure as she put that annoying soaked feeling in the back of her mind.

"Kazuto-sensei. Hm.” She spoke to make sure her comrade was conscious, and to get his attention. Suddenly without needing to explain, the ravenette’s eyes remained focused on the giant squid gesturing towards the creatures with a nod before she’d flash through a set of three handseals. The bright lightning of chidori wrapped around her hand. Her free hand clenched her wrists, and put her hand up as high as it would go. The light from her chidori brightening the cove to an alarming degree and the screech of a thousand crows would drown out the screeching of the squid.

This can also be used on another person by manually forcing a surge of chakra into their body through direct contact, breaking them of their mesmerized state. One's skill to break an illusion depends on their skill and understanding of Genjutsu, as some may prove too powerful to escape by conventional means.

DESCRIPTION:
Being an enhanced and honed version of the original Chidori this jutsu has the same principle and drawbacks which can be negated in the same ways. However, where the Lightning Cutter excels is in it's speed, penetrating ability and mastery. Moving at such a speed the pure chakra of the ability literally radiates from the user, creating a 'tunnel' of lightning around them and leaving a trail of lightning rods off the sides of their feet which makes opponents think twice before approaching the user. This speed is so fast that even the three tomoe sharigan has trouble following it, albeit able to do so. To the naked eye the user is simply a blue blur of lightning zipping past.

Furthermore, the mastery of the original Chidori hones the lightning into a spike of the pure element. This causes the jutsu to have much more power behind it, allowing the user to punch through almost any material. The jutsu has been witness to punch the user straight through a solid steel wall, leaving a smoldering whole through the crumpled material. As the jutsu is stable the user is able to more easily control the Lightning Cutter, allowing them to perform the jutsu in both hands should they wish, splitting the jutsu's power in half for each. However, each can still punch through boulders without losing power or trajectory.

The chakra cost for Raikiri is high enough that your standard Jonin without enhanced chakra reserves or enhanced chakra control will only be able to use it 2 times a day before chakra exhaustion sets in, but those with enhanced chakra or enhanced chakra control could easily perform it several more times per day.
