Sogo shakes her head when Taki mentions that she'd been the one that wanted to come to the gorillas' hideout, not quite sure how to explain her fear of heights to the seemingly fearless woman that had clearly come to know all of the apes that managed to make their homes in such a high perch. Then she figures she can bring the subject up somewhat indirectly, in the hopes that it wouldn't make her sound like a coward.

"Ain'tcha worried about... tripping and then... well... getting to the ground level the quick way?"

She shrugs a little, as though trying to put the fear behind her, but she'd always been on firm soil before this. At least moving into the large facility brought her further from the edges of the walkways, where she felt much more comfortable. It almost felt more like wooden floors on the ground, the less she could see outside and be reminded that she was an uncountable number of meters above the earth's surface, though without any loss of oxygen that she might have expected. She's also introduced to Aki, a small chimp creature that seemed somewhat mute, but very very small. Sogo at least isn't afraid of apes, although it's a bit odd that its first instinct is to climb up over her body to get to a higher perch. It takes a little self-control, but she manages not to try and knock Aki off of her, and even helps to set it on her shoulder just right so that it wouldn't fall off of her or make her lose her balance.

"Hello, Aki! I'm Sogo. It's good ta meetcha."

As the small chimp made it's way up her leg, the girl would denote something, "Sogo I've been leapin aufa tawl structa's for years now I tink I can handle myself what're ya scared...?" the girl would say teasing her she was very much aware that the girl was not a fan of high spots and while her fear was understandable she figured it wasn't something she should stress over too much. As this went on she'd keep up her observations and watch as the young ape would climb his way up the girls body and once he got to her shoulder would begin pressing his hands onto her skin and then stand up looking over her hair.

"Hoo, heeee, hoo" He would start to hoot like an actual animal, and make his way up towards the girl looking her over and taking his small animal like paw and getting himself situated on her seeming comfortable. "Hoo, Hoo hoo..." three low little grunts. "Hey look at dat he likes ya." He'd start to try move his hands around her shoulder as she seemed to wobble. "Dis here is Sogo...she's my cousin so be nice." Taki would denote. "See unlike a lot o da odda apes, Aki can't actually tawlk he just sorta neva loined how." she'd say with a shrug, the ape would stand up and start sniffing at her hair.

"He's more like an animal den awl da odda's but he's a good kid my faithful companion ain't dat right." The ape would leap from Sogo's shoulders and onto Taki's where she would pet the little guy, she treated him like a pet and a companion and out of all of the summons he was easily her favorite next to Fudo. After a moment Iwata would return.

"Taki...Fudo and the others they're prepared for you." he would say with his stern tone of voice Taki would nod back to him. "Well C'mon kid...time ta go meet da big wigs." as the girl would head off towards the edge. "You wanna take the tree or da elavator." the girl would say waiting for her cousin to give her her preffered method of travel before heading off.

During Taki's training she learns that she has a significant amount of energy and after graduating to the rank of genin she began to learn how to properly make use of them under the tutelage of Midori Chizawa. As a result the girl is now able to perform a bevy of powerful techniques for longer periods of time without tiring as quickly as others.

With the rigorous training that Taki's now able to throw down with the best of them boasting monstrous strength fitting for her professional wrestling background, having combined that with the training she performed at the academy has now made her able to performs ridiculous feats such as being able to crush stones in her grip causing concussions and snap bones with her powerful strikes and holds. Taki has also increased the amount of weight she is able to lift by a massive margin in a way that makes her an even more fearsome taijutsu practitioner than before.

As a result of her training, and advancements as a genin. Taki's grappling ability has increased even further making her wrestling based techniques far more difficult to deal with and escape from. As a result, her slams, holds, submissions and suplex's are far more damaging and harder to escape from then that of a genin who is not trained in these particular abilities.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body and overall Taijutsu prowess increase exponentially most notably her grip strength allowing her to take hold of someone with a painful amount of power amplifying her already proficient ability to grapple with an opponent making it significantly harder to be broken out of as well a deal a considerable amount of damage.

When transforming into Sage Mode Taki's body Taki is able to use nature energy to harness her powers in order to make her more physically imposing than normal adding to her natural affinities with Taijutsu allowing her move faster and hit harder heavy items thus adding a good amount of power and heft to her attacks allowing her to snap bones with much less effort and outpace a good majority of her enemies with her monstrous charge.

Due to the coarse strength of a gorilla's skin Taki is able to withstand a good amount of extra punishment allowing her to be able to withstand blows from most enemies that most shinobi wouldn't be able to normally withstand. As such blows from strong fighters are reduced by a considerable amount and when struck feel like colliding with a considerably immovable force.

Sogo seems quite proud to have earned the favor of the small chimp, even if he couldn't actually speak. It was still a little odd to feel his hands moving around on her shoulder to keep himself steady on her, like human hands, but not quite. She could feel that they were stronger than human hands, which she supposed made sense for a being that had to live in the trees like this. Getting around on one's feet was likely far less efficient than climbing with all four limbs. She's a bit surprised, though, that it sounds like Aki never learned how to speak like the other apes in the strange tree society.

She feels a bit disappointed that Aki leaps from her shoulders and over to her cousin to be pet by the other blonde woman, but she's not too upset about it. After all, he'd obviously known Taki for a lot longer, and she was still simply in awe at her surroundings and the apes themselves, particularly in the fact that they could somehow speak and seemed to have human intelligence, and then some. Now she fully understood why the apes had to be deferred to in this regard.

Iwata's return is heralded with an invitation to see Fudo and the others, though she had no idea who Fudo was, much less the others. She's confused when she's offered to take the tree or the elevator, not really knowing how she would use the tree to travel, so she picks the more familiar options, simply for the sake of safety for herself.

"Prob'ly for the best if I use the elevator. I dunno whatcha mean about using the tree ta get there."

For the moment, she starts teaching Aki how to play patty-cake, tapping her shoulders between claps and palm-touches with the much smaller chimp. Despite not speaking, Aki seems to be catching on quickly with her movements, which she enjoys tremendously.
