Change, it often happened when least expected but that didn’t mean it wasn’t for the better. Life moves fast and with an unyielding persistence so it is impervious to keep up, or else there is the risk of being swept away in its riptide so to say. At least that is what Kazui was able to take away from her time as a kunoichi thus far. Things often changed for the worse before better was eventually presented.

Thin strips of sunlight beamed through the blinds scarcely filling the office with natural lighting. Files upon files scattered over an old oak desk alongside a black ink pen that bled through the back of the page as it rested over a handful of documents that needed to be read and signed. Behind the desk sat Kazui, her face buried in the palm of her hands as if she were running or hiding from something, but what? With a sigh, the woman ran her fingers down the length of her face as she looked up at the shallow room void of life and personality. The woman’s expression remained neutral as memories raced through her mind. As if spirits of the past haunted her, she could hear the taunting of others, young students who wondered why the ravenette was the way that she is. Boring.

She had been expecting company so there was no point in her sulking, not now, she needed to keep things professional even if this individual happened to be kin to the Hancho herself. Summoned by way of a single carrier crow, the door remained unlocked and cracked for the redhead Uchiha but for now the woman would play the waiting game as her eyes scanned the four walls of her office - her mind rapidly coming up with ideas on how to liven the place up a bit. Perhaps a few plants from the Senju’s garden could help, surely Kazuto could spare a few. That would be a good start but something else was needed, something more..personal.

A once silent room was shattered by the rustling of a duffle bag and the zipping of its zipper. Kazui dug through the contents with only one thought in mind. It had been ages since she recalled laying eyes upon this photo but with a few swipes of the back of her hand to knock away the dust that had accumulated over the years - it was as good now as ever. It was stored away when the girl had finalized her decision to leave on her personal journey, it was supposed to be taken with her along the way but was ultimately left behind in Mama Hiruko’s home only to be remembered all these years later.

Her chair spun slowly until the Uchiha faced the window behind her. She’d gently placed the framed image next to the window seal and leaned back in her seat to take in the amount of time that had passed. "There.” She spoke as her gaze remained fixed on the photo of herself and Senju Kazuto, the two pictured together for a formal photoshoot between master and student the very day she graduated from the academy, with the Senju ruffling her hair and the girl herself being a bit annoyed by her sensei.

How far they had come.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

Miroru pushed the door open and stepped inside, setting her gunbai against the wall just inside the door with her everpresent pack of pranks (and legit shinobi tools) dangling from it. She looked around the office with stark disbelief, before looking to Kazui. "Okay, so be honest with me. Like... who's the hostage? Who'd they kidnap to convince you to take a position that has an OFFICE? With PAPERWORK?" She didn't at all seem surprised Kazui had earned a promotion- it was just the flavor of the job that confused her.

"Just don't give up on me! We can figure this out!"

Kazui spun around to face the chunin as the creaking of the door sounded, her mind’s eye was at rest for the time being as she was far too stressed to keep it active. She smiled faintly at the girl and shrugged. In her mind, the woman always saw herself as the type to hold some type of office despite her rebellious stent as a teen. Being hokage was a dream she held dearly as a child but the desire withered away over time. "No one. I’m not against this type of work, despite the burden that comes along with it.” A sigh parted her lips as the young woman collected the files that were scattered over the desk and combed through the numerous pages.

"My return and reinstatement wasn’t just by happenstance. Lord Eight put great faith in me, so I intend on living up to his expectations.” She explained to the fiery haired youth. Her eyes continued to scan the pages of the documents in her possession, it was evident she was reading though she still managed to voice a follow up for her guest. "We all play a role in ensuring forward progression of the leaf village. I’m sure you would understand, yes?”

The young woman fell silent as she continued to read away, but only for a moment before her eyes shot up once again and met with Miroru’s. "Sorry, where are my manners please grab a seat if you wish though this will be quick.” Gesturing at the seat that sat across from her own, a bit stiff but a seat nonetheless. Closing the folders, Kazui placed them neatly in front of her before leaning forward, propping her elbows up onto the desk. Her chin rested gently on the back of her hands - her fingers interlaced.

"I’m going to cut to the chase. I’m aware of everything that goes on around the village, more than most would expect - these eyes see it all.” She voiced softly. "This is not news to me honestly, so..from here on out I will be handling your training, little cousin.” Collecting the documents as well as a few writing utensils from their holder, Kazui pushed away from the desk collecting the bag that rested at her feet. Standing tall, the Hancho pulled the blinds of her office and began making her way around the desk - heading for the exit, stopping just before Miroru along the way.

"We begin now, come.” Throwing the bag over her shoulder, Kazui opened the door and began making her way out of the office and down the hallway.

"Oh? Okay. I dunno, I'd feel super stifled. I'd need like... an outlet. Like all the time," Miroru said, rambling idly as she looked around the office before getting settled.

"You can call him Keisuke-san now, can't you?" Miroru asked, tilting her head. "I never got the impression he was really one to stand on ceremony like that, especially not after the fact. At least he never was with me. Is that just, like. You wanting to convey extra respect his way on your own?" Miroru sounded curious- as if almost suspecting she might be missing something.

She paused at that comment about ensuring forward progression. "Oh. Um. I mean... yeah, totally. I do my best, you know? I've learned lots of jutsu and invented a couple! And done a bunch of missions. Gotta do my part, right?"

She didn't like even the faint deception, but she tried to maintain her plausible deniability anyway.

"Oh, nah, I'll stand. If I sit, I'll either start spinning in the chair or put my feet on your desk and nobody wants that."

Aware of everything. Was that so? Miroru did her best to keep a level expression. It sure SOUNDED like she'd been found out, but... if she just ASSUMED she knew, then she might give it away unnecessarily, and she'd done that enough, already.

"Oh. Like, right now, now? Uhhhh. Okay! Are we gonna be working on anything in particular?" It was the best she could manage- a subtle confirmation that she wasn't sure if Kazui really knew or not that wouldn't seem out of place if she did not, in fact, know about Miroru's... passenger.

"Just don't give up on me! We can figure this out!"

"Yes yes. Right now, right now.”

The Jonin raised an arm, a single handle gesturing vaguely for the fiery haired Uchiha to follow along. Leading the way out of the office and down the halls of the war council, Kazui made sure she would keep Miroru up to date with all aspects of what she had planned - at least for the day. "You will see once we get to our destination.” Albeit, she’d withhold crucial information and keep the boisterous girl waiting and guessing in the dark. Kazui couldn’t gauge the girl’s ability if she told her what was going to happen.

A Silken cloak draped over the Uchiha shoulders as she continued to walk with intention behind her stride. The sound of her heels clicking and clacking with each step the young woman took - a steady cadence, lightly tapping throughout the corridor as Kazui briefly cut her gaze towards Miroru, giving the young teen a comforting smile but offering no further words around the basis of their training. Kazui was an excellent kunoichi, and an even better sensor surely Miroru was aware of this - even more so the chunin would know Kazui wasn’t the type to joke around so her mention of the known unknowns should be taken with merit.

Regardless, after a while Kazui led the two out of the council and through the streets of Konoha and out into the surrounding lands of Hi no Kuni. Two masked men who’s figures were obscured by black cloaks trailed the jonin hancho and Miroru both from the shadows, keeping an eye on the two as they moved. Their brief travels eventually led to a clearing of the vast forest with plenty of room to make the most of any training. To those with knowledge, this was where Kazui conducted a lot of her trials for .. more promising shinobi.

Making her way to the center of the clearing, the hancho stretched her arms out far above her head as she tossed the backpack off to the side - at the base of the tree. In a flash the jonin found herself perched up on a branch with the two figures who trailed earlier finally making their presence known as they stood nigh motionless next to the Uchiha.

"This will be the first part of your training.” Kazui spoke, leg and arm propped up against one another as her cheek rested gently on her knuckles. Menacing crimson hues staring down the girl just as three more masked men emerged from the shadows of the surrounding forest. One wielding a greatsword, standing tall. The other two were unarmed and much smaller in stature compared to the first, yet were not to be taken lightly in their own right. "Fight like you mean it..” She voiced.

"The same pep talk was given to these operatives, so do be serious.” Just as she mentioned, the three masked "ANBU” operatives readied themselves - taking to their stances expecting Miroru to make the first move. If not, they’d charge ahead to look for an opening. Kazui watched along in the meantime.

In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

"I see, I see. Very well, very well," Miroru replied, mirroring the doubled comments as she kept pace behind her older cousin. "And I'll take your word for it. Do I get any hints?" She waited patiently as they meandered down the corridor, chirping up as they moved to leave the building. "Are we gonna, like, go for a run?"

To Kazui's particularly sharp senses, she might even be able to make out their other escorts- a couple of tiny foxes, scattered widely around the area. The Bakenokawa- Miroru's near constant companions, and oft-times lifelines to the previous Hokage and the other signers of the Fox Contract. Most might not have the chakra to keep them around as often as Miroru did... but she DID have the chakra for it, and was often found in their immediate company.

Through the streets they went, and Miroru guessed again as the masked men filtered in to trail them. "Is it gonna be like. Jutsu training? You've been all over. I bet you know all kinds of stuff I haven't seen before!"

And then they were moving out of the city entirely, heading into a large clearing. The foxes remained, but clambered up into trees just past this edge and that of the clearing, keeping watch but out of the way.

As Kazui headed up into the trees with the first two of the operatives, Miroru eyed the three incoming. "Ohhhh. I see. Uh... three on one? I'm not sure if I can-"

Oh, don't be modest.
You can handle three measly shinobi.
It wouldn't even be hard.

"-make this work..?" Without confirmation that she was cleared to slip her leash, so to speak, she still didn't feel comfortable letting herself go truly wild. So, instead, as she was directed to begin, she flashed a single, one-handed seal as she pulled her gunbai off her back, soaking it in hyper-dense Suiton resembling crab chitin! The girl's nerves were going wild, unsure how to approach being targeted by three people of assumably equal or greater rank, trying to figure out if she was expected to unleash herself for real or not!

Using the brief moment she was granted, she kept flashing hand seals in extremely rapid succession. Two seals later, chakra coalesced around her body into a protective field, and one more reinforced it! Those four seals, though, were probably all the time she had to take advantage of being allowed to set the pace of the battle, and she braced herself for incoming attacks, swinging the reinforced gunbai into place between herself and her opponents!

Any hints? Kazui questioned herself through thought, unsure if it was best to ruin the surprise or to keep everything hidden up until the last possible moment. She wanted her cousin to be as unsuspecting as possible to ensure their trials went smoothly without any altering factors that could skew performance. A smirk curled over her youthful features as they continued on their journey. "A hint, hmm?” Humming gently beneath her breath, the Uchiha finally came to a compromise. "Well, not exactly. But sometimes we go through trials and tribulations to test our ninja way, so to say.” Waving the question off, that’s all that Kazui would be willing to offer. Though in truth this was just as much of a trial for herself than it was for Miroru, but to a lesser degree.

The duo as well as accompanying ANBU operatives and foxes alike all made their way and settled into the clearing of the forest. Weapons were readied and stances were taken by the trio of high ranking root members. Kazui remained perched on the branch of a tall overseeing oak tree which stood just ways away from the clearing itself - allowing the girl to watch closely while being clear from most dangers she’d ever witnessed while training.

"Three on one, you can say that but this is just the bare minimum I would expect from a kunoichi of your caliber - even without the fox.”

The ravenette voiced as she adjusted the wrist-cuffs of her cloak, fidgeting with the silk before taking her blade in hand, resting it gently across her shoulder. Crimson hues were luminescent as they stared deep down into the girl’s chakra core, past the approaching trio as they rushed forward. Though instead of relying solely on her sharingan, Kazui cut the outpour of chakra needed to keep her mind’s eye sensing over the vast forest and instead chose to focus all of her sensory solely through her sharingan - allowing her to achieve greater analytical prowess and to discern the world around her - particularly the jinchuriki standing a few meters before her. "Sure you can, though I’m not sure you have much of an option here.” She gestured vaguely with an open palm.

The three men rushed forward, lumps in their throat but still stoic and willing to attack nonetheless. Leading the charge was the mountain of a man wielding the greatsword, charging forward with great momentum and strength - after a few twirls to gather every bit of strength that he could muster his blade would collide with Miroru’s barrier. A loud thud and crack could be heard as the blade was driven into the surprisingly powerful chakra reinforcement, wedging itself into the construct but failing to shatter it completely. It surprised the man, having his super strength stifled by a measly little girl though he knew there was little to worry about as he was far from alone, his look of confusion and shock led to a shit-eating grin behind his bear designed mask.

Never letting up pressure applied to his greatsword, the taller man continued to lean his weight forward and putting maximum strength behind his push just as his comrade seamlessly leapt into the fray, delivering a spinning back to the blunt side of his giant comrade’s blade - the extra force from the kick would shatter Miroru’s barrier like glass allowing the third a clear shot at the girl.

The third and final operative took a more angled approach but ultimately kept their distance. Off to Miroru’s right, the final root member stood launching a fury of 10 kunai and shuriken alike.

Well.

That was that, then. The fox out of the bag, so to speak. Not that Miroru had long to interact with the thought. In rushed the three, and she used what time she had before defending herself. The two-stack combo broke past her kekkai armor, but it still bought her a moment to focus on defending against the third opponent. He was at a distance, and he wasn't against a true user of the Sharingan- but brilliant crimson eyes tracked him all the same as he shifted to the side and let loose.

Her response time was sincerely impressive. Between her sensory acumen and her reflexes, Miroru was tucked behind the wall of her gunbai in a heartbeat, the hardened Suiton surface- specially enhanced by the custom design of the weapon- deflecting the mundane projectiles with ease.

So this was how it was going to be.

Miroru flashed three handseals with blinding speed, all without taking her hand off the gunbai's handle. Serpent. Boar. Bird. Kazui knew that combination.

Chidori Nagashi.

Electricity screamed off of Miroru's form in all directions, surrounding her in a storm of paralytic Raiton, sure to either drive back the two men directly assailing her or render them briefly paralyzed. Either way, it bought her time- time to hurl shuriken towards the third with her free hand, keeping her gunbai positioned between them like a shield as she advanced. Each shuriken dragged a subtle wire through the air between them, weaving a delicate web as a series of near-misses and close calls rapidly constructed a tension trap around the third opponent- ready to snap shut at any moment!

The woman watched one as the men continued their assault, the greatsword breaking through the barrier - narrowly missing the jinchuriki as it swung past followed by a small gust, it was clear the man wasn’t holding back. Miroru however, seemed adept enough to not truly feel pressured by the three working together. Good. The shuriken proved useless, and as such the third operative simply clenched his teeth and gripped his kunai tightly, afraid the girl would charge forward. Luckily for him, his teammates were there to keep the pressure on - and they would do just that. The two men continued their press, charging towards the fiery haired girl sword and fist loaded at full strength. "Take This!” The giant exclaimed.

Their rush forward however appeared to be the wrong call as the men were caught in the quick and sudden defense of the chidori stream. Kazui watched the handseals one by one, her eyes widened just a bit in shock of someone outside of Issei utilizing her signature. "Sharingan?” She questioned. "No, this isn’t mimicry. This is the result of study and consistent application of raiton.” Watching as the two powerhouses fell, it was safe to say things were going better than Kazui could’ve asked for. Kazui had then witnessed the trap set by Miroru. The unassuming bird-masked man cut away at the wire, entangling himself and taking himself completely out of the fight. Perhaps things were going too well, she didn't drag them all to this desolate area just for privacy. The Hancho sucked her teeth, eyes gently at rest as she rose to her feet. Her hands slipped out from behind her cardigan and gestured the legendary blade to the operative. Without need for words, the man quickly accepted and held the blade in his grasp.

However, in one instance the ravenette was nestled in the treetops and in the blink of an eye there she stood before Miroru, no more than 3 meters separating the two. Haori draped over the hancho’s shoulders billowing in the passing breeze - the kanji for ‘Thunderbird’ stitched into its design. Her arms folded across her chest as her weight shifted to her left side, hues of crimson staring down the jinchuriki observing both bijuu and host for what they were worth. "Oh my. Well it seems you’re far stronger than I originally thought.” She mentioned with a chuckle and smile that would come across as rather off-putting for what would come next.

A simple point would send a mirage of ravens at the girl, illusionary though debilitating in a sense. This wouldn’t last for long however, for as quick as it began - Miroru would be knocked out of the genjutsu as Kazui flickered behind the chunin’s flank and delivered a leaping kick. A heel driving into her back potentially sending the girl flying forward. There was no holding back from this point forward, if Miroru dreamed of having a chance at impressing the nine tails.

This genjutsu traps a victim in a powerful illusion, with no necessary eye contact; similar to Ephemeral. However, direct eye contact can still be applied when using this technique. When used, the genjutsu projects a torrent of crows at their opponent. The crows seemingly assaulting the opponent, appearing to tear away flesh and cause considerable pain.

DESCRIPTION:
This ability allows the user to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range that exceeds ten kilometers. This is done by focusing and opening the mind's eye, though due to the low chakra cost many users keep it active often. The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

"Aw, sorry, y'know? I just had a huge serving of This with breakfast, I'm totally full up! No room to take yours!"

Kazui's assessment was right on the money, as well. Miroru'd developed the Zap Fist- something not even Itsuki would call it- by pushing the limits of her speed and Raiton specialty. From there, she'd simply experimented with ways to disperse that energy in novel ways.

Including some she'd invented all her own.

Abruptly, there was a Kazui in her face. "Er- yeah! I tend to surprise a lot of people that way!"

Pff. A couple jutsu and some clever defenses. How poorly must she thought of you that this is far exceeding expectations?

Hey, it's not like I show off for anyone but Kazuto-sama. What's she got to go off? A whole bunch of-

Ravens blasted around her, leaving Miroru shrieking in startled pain.

FOOL! They're not REAL!

Miroru's reflexes showing themselves in spades, her free hand snapped into the handseal for Kai, shattering the illusion ~~mere instants before Kazui would have done herself~~ and freeing her senses just in time to realize it was far too late to evade what was coming.

The kick landed, and Miroru let out a deep, pained grunt as her ribs compressed, launching her forwards towards one of the trees surrounding the clearing!

Swinging her gunbai midair, Miroru smashed the flat of the enhanced weapon against the tree's trunk and snapped it in to places to kill her momentum, tossing herself one way and the heavy chunk of trunk another, leaving the top half of the tree to collapse where it'd stood. Her free hand already moving opposite Kazui's view of her body, she completed one jutsu with no apparent effect, then more visibly flashed through two more single hand seals in rapid succession as she came to a stop- only to run upwards into midair, taking a deep breath- and spitting a screaming bolt of lightning down at Kazui, duplicating the spear of Raiton halfway to her position to drastically increase the difficulty of evasion as she took to the skies!

Unnecessarily Kai'd out of the ravens just in time to catch a boot to the back!
Broke a chunk off a tree to redirect her momentum.
Used her body to hide five hand seals as she flew, to no immediate effect.
Flashed two seals without hiding them- one to activate Kekkai: Stair and activate her boots, and another to trigger Gian, which she fired and multiplied into a rain of lightning lasers towards Kazui!

The Kyuubi, with all of it’s glory, would still find trouble with the ravenette’s genjutsu. Flawless illusions through and through made the jonin a difficult opponent to overcome - even more so when casted with her sharingan. The two wouldn’t realize until the speedy jonin struck. This would be evident as Kazui’s heel dug into Miroru’s back - launching the girl forward with considerable force, watching as the chunin soared through the air, crashing into the trees.

Luckily however, Miroru’s reflexes were sharp, so she’d managed to slow her momentum and soften her impact - smashing her gunbai into the stump of the tree that Kazui had just departed from. The Root Operative that accompanied her would leap from the tree tops, tumbling as he landed with force - narrowly avoiding the tree as it collapsed. With haste the man ran off into the surrounding forest, he wished not to be anywhere near the woman’s target, and understandably so.

The Hancho on the other hand continued to track Miroru with every ounce of sensory she had, her mind’s eye and sharingan meshing together to allow for extremely precise tracking of not only movement but chakra in the given area - far greater than the sharingan working independently on its own. Kazui watched as Miroru’s free hand moved opposite to her body, but she wouldn’t bite the bait. She’d observe the young kunoichi as a whole rather than focusing on certain parts of her. "Hmm.” The woman hummed.

Although her handseals themselves were obscured, Kazui wouldn’t need to see them directly to know what was coming next - minute twitching of the muscles allowed the skilled jonin to read and analyze with absolute speed and precision. Alongside her mastery of handseals - coming to a conclusion on which seals were formed was a piece of cake to the Uchiha.

Sweeping her haori outward, Kazui unhooked her own gunbai from the back of her belt loops and lowered herself into a crouching position - chakra surging throughout her feet and legs amplifying her abilities a good deal. As raiton rained down on her, Kazui would lunge upward towards Mioru - facing the hail of lightning head on like a mad woman. As Kazui brought her hand back and focused her chakra into the gunbai, she’d swing it with ferocity. "Uchiha…Return.” She voiced blandly as the strong gales would not only cause the lighting to dissipate but would sweep Miroru off of her feet if she didn't brace for the harsh winds.

Under this guise, Kazui would close the distance between the two just as her lunge began losing momentum. Promptly, a series of spinning kicks were planned to be thrown at the chunin in rapid succession. Starting low and working their way up towards the girl’s head, though Kazui was an analyst first and foremost - so despite being heavily on the offensive she’d charge ever-so diligently.

tl;dr - Kazui observes Miroru’s handseals and lunges up and forward at Miroru. Swinging her gunbai, a forceful wind would cancel the raiton and send the strong gales of wind into the face of Miroru. With this distraction, Kazui closed the distance and prepared to throw a series of kicks - though this is dependent on Miroru’s reaction.

Through constant training and implementation of her sharingan and genjutsu, the girl has grown to wield one of the strongest dojutsu seen amongst the clan in quite sometime. While her sharingan is active (and only while her sharingan is active) the girl’s genjutsu ability soars far beyond her normal capabilities. These illusions are flawless through and through. The realism and believability of her techniques are unmatched, causing even masters of genjutsu and sensors to take her illusions as reality - as well as those who wield dojutsu such as, but not limited to, the byakugan and even other sharingan users as well. Miroru was, bluntly, not prepared for a hurricane to tear apart her attacks and throw her off the tiny platforms supporting her mid-air! Squawking, she fluttered backwards, tumbling as Kazui closed the distance and chained together a frighteningly fast string of kicks that culminated with a blow to her head-

-and the dislodged chunk of the tree trunk replacing her as it landed, answering the question of what she'd been doing previously!

She's too fast for you, child.

Shut it! I'm not giving up on myself yet!

Without giving Kazui time to get back to the ground herself and capitalizing on her cousin's place midair and- presumably- without ways to maneuver with nothing to collide with, Miroru's body tensed as chakra flooded it, amplifying her natural speed drastically as she utilized a Taijutsu technique simply called the Lightning Step- and blasted into the air as her feet devoured the space between them!

To any other eyes, Miroru would have been nothing but a streak of lightning and a storm of blows. To Kazui's Sharingan, though, she was just blazingly fast. It took a mere three hand seals to create a crackling aura suffused into the suiton surrounding her gunbai- Short Circuit, drenching the weapon in paralyzing electricity to further limit Kazui's options to engage with her assault!

She met Kazui mid-air and unleashed a flurry of attacks, alternating between blazingly-fast, axe-like edge strikes, thrusts with rib-cracking power behind them, and at the last a full-power paddle strike from below intended to hurl Kazui higher and even further from the ground that would immediately give her back one of her edges against her younger cousin!

Activated Kawarimi (the five-seal jutsu with no immediate effect from last post!)!
Activated Short Circuit and Lightning Step, charging the gunbai with paralyzing electricity and increasing her speed to levels that anyone without a Doujutsu or primary Tai/Buki training would be unable to track, throwing a flurry of attacks at Kazui and attempting to swat her further up into the air, trying to keep her off the ground!
