    Turning and giving the weapon a pat on the flat side of it, any damage it had taken was not even as much as showing. No scratches, all the teeth were fully regrown, it was as if it was crafted moments earlier aside from the fact it was sticking out of the ground at the moment. 

"I can't speak to how sentient it is or isn't, but it is very much so alive. It heals itself, it drinks water and enjoys certain types of soil and water over others."

    He pulled the weapon out of the ground and spun it around a few times in his hand, thrusting it to the side. Slowly pulling it back, he ran his hand across the smooth flat surface before resting it on his shoulder.

"If people can't talk to their very much not alive metal katanas, then it seems far more sane to talk to the actually living and breathing weapon."

    He couldn't help but laugh as he realized just how ridiculous his statements had sounded all crushed together, bouncing Uemori on his shoulder. The idea of both being a Genjutsu user while not thinking of yourself as deceptive was a unique level of awkward even if both were true in their own way.

"I suppose Genjutsu is in fact a form of deception, but I prefer not to use it on people that don't deserve it. It's an unpleasant experience at best."

    Seeing her ready to fight once more, he gave Uemori a slap and spin it once as he planted it back into the ground.

"You're gonna sit this one out, friend."

    Pulling at his belt he removed it completely and with it his coat opened up. Placing both to rest over his weapon, he turn, showing the few pouches he had, and the two axes in holster that had been hidden under his coat, with a small blade on his back. He didn't immediate remove any of the weapons as he started to stretch, roll his neck, and take a deep breath as he watched her carefully.

As the boy would talk Asuka would hear him out, talking of how he speaks to his weapon calling it alive. "It's alive...?" she wasn't one of the swordsman so she herself wasn't fully sure if she got close enough could she hear it does it have a mouth?

All things she couldn't fully understand but as he kept speaking she would continue to try and break open the second gate the sounds she was making as the heat from her body would spike somewhat as she attempted to try and open up the second gate the first gate was already a strain on her reserves and trying to break to the next barrier was even more harrowing than the first eventually she'd feel the crack breaking ever so slightly, but due to the amount of power she was receiving from the 2nd gate she wasn't aware of how much of her body she was actually busting up at the moment.

"I...I'm fine...just...trying...to...break...past...my...limits!" the girl would say as she stood upright unsure of what she was feeling but aware that something was working just what it was however she wasn't certain. "The 8 gates are difficult to understand its a lot of trail and error but I'm ready..." she'd take a stance and wait for him to attack.

Summary:

Heavy Handed Iron Fist:
With the rigorous training that Asuka had to endure as she honed her body to levels of perfection rivaling that of any martial arts master. Asuka's strength has increased 10 fold to the point where she is able to crush stoned within her grasp and breaks bones of lesser individuals with ease. And while she still has much to learn as a chunin. The youth's power is not one to be challenged lightly, as she is able to perform physical feats that would seem inhuman to even most shinobi.

Hijutsu: Kinu no Eikyō:
Asuka is a member of the Waruichi clan and as such has the ability to control a special chakra infused silk that was forged by a special group of silkworms that feed on the corpses of dead clansmen. With it Asuka can craft and shape the silk to her will and uses it in a mostly supplementary fashion to aid her in battle alongside her powerful taijutsu skills.

Iron Burst:
As a sole practitioner of Taijutsu Asuka has relentlessly pushed her body against itself for spectacular results: her strength carries over into her speed, and as such alongside the control she exerts body in spirit and in mind, she is intensely faster than those of a similar level of strength and maneuvering expertly as if the air were an extension of her own body.

A Disciplined Iron Bull:
During Asuka's time as a genin the youth had begun to realize that in order to excel as a shinobi she needed to learn how to properly utilize her chakra. And while she doesn't posses the greatest of reserves the youth has learned through rigorous meditation how to keep her chakra still and calm. As a result she is now able to wield it with a great deal of control and is able to channel only the necessary amounts of chakra into the few jutsu she uses in order to make the most of their abilities whilst still being able to keep up in a fight.

    Despite how Uemori was treated before, how it reacted or didn't, how others looked at it, Masshiro felt a certain connection with it and knew that on some level it could understand something from him. He didn't much care of others found him odd talking to it, as it was far from the only thing he did people looked at him strangely for. Finished stretching for whatever round two would bring, he turned his attention back to her, squinting as his eyes seemed to glow even brighter. He could see her chakra trying to burst it seemed, which he wasn't certain what that was, but given the context he could only assume she was pushing her strength up to a higher degree. If he understood correctly, this was certainly going to suck for him as it made her stronger and faster, and neither of those he was fond of.

"It certainly looks like you are breaking something at least, from what I see of your chakra."

    Nothing about her chakra looked...right at the moment, but maybe that was simply part of it. He didn't want her breaking down in the middle of a spar, but he wasn't one to talk about taking things too serious given the amount of scars he carried. 

    Brushing his hair out of his face, he rolled his wrists and brought his hands up together quickly creating three handseals, as he winked at her, and immediately the air filled with a thick mist surrounding the entire area. Slowly he began to back up, keeping his hands together as he stared at her chakra through the thickening mist, until it was near impossible for them to see each other naturally.

    Once more he created three handseals in quick succession, as he turned his head upward and opened his mouth, as a black thick substance poured out, seeping into the mist but moving above it, forming a large black cloud. Wiping off his mouth, he began to grin as the sky darkened just a bit, as he was now trying to make things more favorable as he was quite honestly not sure how well he could stand up to the gates head to head. The cloud above continued to spread out, and in a matter of seconds it was raining, mixing with the mist causing a black liquid to cover the ground, and a slight mist of it to hang in the air. It wouldn't take much time before the ground around them, the sky above them, the thick mist, and both of them the longer it continued, would be covered in the black oil as well. One spark and there would be quite the light show.
