[Nageku]

A week had passed since he first met Shigeo and he had to say that the young man was impressively compliant with him. Something that Nageku found to be perfect for himself, those lesser then he should know when to bend and from there his magnanimous attitude could be appreciated as he showed them some amount of respect in turn. The opposite could be said about those who chose not to comply. Nageku could get incredibly violent when he felt like it, but the point was to give the people who came to actually get some level of training in while he honed his craft of the many selves. The seperation here in his own home 'studio' was start as only twelve stone carvings that looked between him and his younger brother in visage stood to one side seemingly finished product while on the other a mass of roughly 30 versions sat, some looking perfectly fine unless you got close enough to it to see the cracks in its surface, stress fractures in others, and full on hole chunked out of others. A gentle chipping sounding from the giant, still academy student, as he toiled away the time before his removal crew came by the destroy the other stone creations that he needed removed or recycled. If they got something other then a bit of money for the job then that was good for them - Nageku didn't care that much. He just needed them to do what his brother had offered them payment to do.

Tokonatsu Kaoru

Kaoru wasn't exactly pleased with another boring mission, but that's what he got in a village where the higher ups weren't really present in enough numbers to be taking Genin out on external missions. It sucked, and he felt like he must have angered someone in the mission department to keep getting particularly dull assignments. Going to clear out an Academy student's art project sounded about as lame as a mission could get, but it wasn't worth the problems that would have come if he kicked up a fuss.

Having been escorted into the right area, he wandered in without much of a care, sandals clacking casually against the floor as the bells in his hair tinkled with every step.

"Ohayo, Tokonatsu Kaoru here as the clean up crew," he called out with a lazy wave, looking around for the kid that was supposed to be here working on things. The statues were big, and relatively impressive, he wasn't expecting the art project to be giant stone statues but considering the Yamakira... he shouldn't have been surprised.

That said, catching sight of who was in the workshop was definitely surprising, a large figure chipping away at the stone, definitely not what he was expecting.

"So... what exactly is it that I'm meant to be doing to clean up?"

Nageku was not as unimpressed this time around by the people that he had been sent. Kaoru had a good physique, though that last name gave him pause. Was he related to that twerp and his frankly hideous mother? Or just another of a number of people in that clan? Either way it ended up not being his problem, so he immediately overlooked the thought in favor of flexing out to stretch his stone body before dropping his hands back down to roll the chisel and hammer in his hands around casually. "You like smashing shit up? Break down the stone there and leave the statues over there," Nageku would state, pointing first with his hammer over to the group of half-broken stones that were full of half-carved busts of himself as well as mostly finished versions that were missing a limb or large chunks. His chisel shortly after pointing to the group of what looked like perfectly well-carved statues designed to look exactly like Nageku himself, "Toss the broken rock elsewhere, keep it if you want to, I have absolutely no care what you do with it. It just needs to be gone since I'm getting out of here soon. Those are not to be touched, but the rest are free game."

Looking at the statues as instructed, Karou pondered his situation. He could be done quickly.. or he could maybe make use of his time where he was assigned a dumb mission that was boring as crap while avoiding another equally dumb and boring mission for finishing too quickly.

"There a specific time limit for how long you want it to be done by, or can I take my time?" he asked the Yamakira, no point making the situation more complicated if he was told he had to get out relatively quickly. Breaking down stone statues with his arms and legs would make for decent conditioning training, and take a while so he didn't get shunted away to a whole new boring mission. On the other hand, he could simply slice them up and go about his day, it really depended on the mission parameters.

Well, that and his mood, mood was very important too. If he got bored then there was definitely no point staying around here to do something dull and pointless. Others might have been curious about the strangely narcissistic statues, or the advanced age of the Academy Student he'd been hired to assist.

But honestly, Kaoru couldn't care less.
