The Pink Blur

Hibana stood there looking in the mirror as she brushed her hair. The long white dress hung down below her knees flowing gracefully. She had gotten this dress for today's picnic wanting to look cute for Tokaku. It had been a little while since the two of them had any actual alone time, today she wanted to be perfect. The young blonde woman picked up a straw hat placing it on her head smiling to herself. She looked at the cloth eye cover wondering if she should wear it today deciding against it. She looked cute and hoped Tokaku would appreciate everything she had planned for them. Before leaving she grabbed the basket with today's meal heading out the door to meet up at the village gate. She wanted to skip down the street she was just to excited to stay still but she did anyway. She had a special dessert in the basket and did not wish to have it ruined by her jovial movement. She had picked out the perfect spot right outside the walls of Konoha, it was a place she had passed by one day on her rounds. She waved and smiled to the people who passed by her letting the people see her uncovered eye. They had planned to meet up here so Hibana waited leaning against the guard shack that she normally occupied. She set the basket on the counter turning around to talk to the guard on duty about their day. They were a friend of hers at work and passed a little time as Hibana waited the excitement within her reaching a boiling point.
