According to myth, the Karura feeds on serpentkind, and any meal requires utensils. With a flick of his fingers Uemon is able to engage the avian's detachable feathers and launch them at an enemy to buffet them with a hail of razor-sharp discs. If unguarded against, this flurry of projectiles can easily shred a foe and leave them critically injured or otherwise open to further attacks. NAME: Kamikaze: Shumisenoroshi [Divine Wind: Gust From Shumisen] RANK: B CHAKRA USAGE: Medium CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [Puppetry] ELEMENT: --- REQUIREMENT: Karura DESCRIPTION: Utilizing the two large tessen that make up Karura's wings, Uemon is able to channel his own Fūton chakra through them to conjure up a cutting gale with a gesture of his arms. This technique sends sharp gales of chakra-enhanced wind at a foe to rend them and can also be used to throw off any projectiles aimed the puppet's way. As a byproduct of the intense winds, this jutsu usually kicks up a large cloud of dust as well that can further obscure the battlefield. NAME: Sōzōjōhigi: Ryūkuinokyōen [Imaginary Secret Technique: Dragon Eater's Feast] RANK: A CHAKRA USAGE: High CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [Puppetry] ELEMENT: --- REQUIREMENT: Karura DESCRIPTION: Combining both of Karura's previous techniques, Uemon funnels large amounts of Fūton chakra into Karura's detachable feathers to prepare the puppet for its meal of dragons and serpents. With a flap of the bird puppet's wings it both summons a gale with winds strong enough to slice rock and showers an area 10m large with a storm of steel feathers fortified by the same chakra. This allows the projectiles to travel through the intense gale without being completely thrown off course, though the high speed of the gale does affect their trajectory some. While not the most accurate jutsu in his arsenal, Karura's ultimate technique is capable of wreaking a high level of destruction to one localized area and can severely damage fortified structures. NAME: Sōzōjōhigi: Tsukimi [Imaginary Secret Technique: Moon Viewing] RANK: A CHAKRA USAGE: High CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [Puppetry] ELEMENT: --- REQUIREMENT: Tsuki, Kugutsu Bunshin no Jutsu DESCRIPTION: Named for a festival designated to a moon rabbit of Tetsu no Kuni myth, this technique both abandons all subtlety and makes use of one of his least-dangerous puppets. First, Uemon spends a large amount of chakra to summon up dozens of clones of one of his surveillance puppets, Tsuki. Then, he commands the small army of critters to charge towards a designated area. Once they are in place, he detonates the single Explosive Note hidden within one of the clones' bodies, creating a chain reaction that ignites the rest of the bombs one by one. A massive explosion ensues that completely engulfs an area of around 30m and has enough explosive and concussive force to lay an entire building low in the process if placed near its foundation. Without proper protection or a suitable level of endurance, this explosion will obliterate most material that is near the epicenter of the explosion when it goes off. NAME: Sōzōjōhigi: Nijīronotoiki [Imaginary Secret Technique: Rainbow-Colored Breath] RANK: A CHAKRA USAGE: High CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu [Puppetry] ELEMENT: --- REQUIREMENT: Date, Kugutsu Bunshin no Jutsu, Kabuki DESCRIPTION: A Tetsu no Kuni legend says that once a toad reaches one thousand years of age, it transforms into an Ōgama with rainbow-colored breath that can swallow anything. Uemon accelerates this fictional process by first creating several clones of his amphibian puppet Date, then utilizing his Kabuki technique to merge them into a single, monster toad. Once he achieves this, he commands the puppet to grab a target with its poisonous tensile tongue and swallow them whole. From there he can either keep his foe locked in their dark, toxic cell, or detonate the combined Explosive Tags of each frog puppet that is sure to deal massive damage and combust anyone unfortunate enough to trapped inside. A sufficiently strong enough person may manage to escape, but even if they survive the blast they will remain envenomed until treated.
