Moment MusicBeing able to excuse herself from the small gathering of officials proved to probably be the best means in which to further investigate just what was happening. Along with the signs of things drawing Asahi's attention, Arashi could clearly see that Nai was on edge as well, prompting her to bow politely as she moved back and guided the bodyguard and her canine companion away from the Damiyo and his delegate friends.
"Well..not the most gracious exit...but I think that worked...so what..."
It was at that point that the two would find themselves engaged with a supposedly drunken Zakku, who's display of poor consumption had more than draw a few eyes towards them as he began to show poor ability in handling himself. If they were to judge based on this, it seemed as if the young shinobi had already begun the celebration hours earlier, leading to becoming like this. But even Arashi would admit that this was a first in seeing her friend this far gone.
At his failed attempt at petting Nai, the large wolf would lean down to sniff at the blue haired male, leaving the interim Kage to place one hand upon her forehead before then glancing at Asahi with a calm expression.
"And it keeps gettin better..."
Now having a moment in which to scan the area, if not briefly, she could see a golden glamoured male approaching Ameko and the young Asahi, yet no sign of the dark hooded figure that had seemed to be approaching the Damiyo and his party briefly. To alert the public would only create a scare and panic, so it was best to handle the situation with as little alarm as possible. At least for the moment, no one was in immediate danger, but that could easily change by the second.
Still, perhaps the distraction would allow for a easier search. After all, if someone was so focused on an action, perhaps they would not be able to follow the most human of reaction to strange events.
"If our dark guest is still here...find him and escort him to the higher level of the manor...we'll deal with them there and out of sight...I'll provide what support I can here..take Nai...she'll be able to sus out anything shady..."
Rubbing the back of the wolf's neck, the Jounin would then release a breath before then holding a sheepish smile on her face.
"Not even a kage yet and I'm already messin up...glad dad isn't here to rub it in..."
Looking off to the side, clearly still a bit hurt in noting the man's absence, though soon retaining her focus as she nodded towards him.
"Go...I'll keep people focused on...this..."
As she allowed for Asahi and Nai to begin their hunt, Arashi would then kneel down with a frown as she shook her head.
"Seriously Zak? What the hell?"
In helping the young man up to his feet, Arashi would then guide him towards a chair in which for him to sit, looking at him calmly from the bar side counter before then gesturing towards it's attendant to bring some water.
"Got somethin on ya mind to be drinkin this much for?"
While she imagined it could be a number of things, or even simply Zakku being his usual self, there had been a lot of events in his life that had occurred that could provide some clarity to this stunt. Granted, Arashi had done what she could to be supportive from afar, but even she couldn't be everywhere at once. Unlike the young shinobi who was more than capable of creating clones.
"If this is a clone, I swear I will knock ya senseless and ya'll feel it from whereever ya are..."

With Arashi dealing with her friend, the event attendees seemed to remain focused on the display, though seemingly, some where once again engaging in off-side conversations. Though the target, who had faded into the background, seemed to be on the move once more, though clearly using some techinque to move between others without much notice. They were observing for the most part, but there was some intent in mind of course. As they continued to work their way forward, they likely would not be aware of Nai already on the hunt, her eyes though weak, not detearing her sense of smell as the growled lowly in her search with Asahi.
