In Character:
A traveling circus's ape had escaped, and is believed to be somewhere in Hi no Kuni's many forests. Hachi and her sensei Dai are to be sent out to capture it, unharmed, but likely needing to be restrained. Afterwards they must take the ape to a drop off point to be brought back to the circus. Afterwards they may return to Konoha and collect their reward.

In Character:
A recent experiment has escaped. Normally this would be for genin or chuunin squads, or even the maker of the experiment if not for a few factors. First is that this subject is very powerful, and would likely kill anyone who wasn't jonin. Second is that the owner would like someone who can remember every detail of its abilities and inform him of what it was capable of. Kagaku has been chosen as the perfect person for the mission, do to his Chakra Enhanced Strength and photographic memory, he's perfect to fight it, study it, kill it, and still remember what happened in the fight perfectly. The maker of the experiment also wants a DNA sample of the subject before then.
