A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi Etsuko wasn't quite under the same leadership she'd been, her declaration long ago as a weapon seemed less valid in times of peace. She hoped with training and determination she could inspire Ryu. She believed herself to be front-line material, but she knew a lot of her villages trust in her was almost false. A large amount of shinobi trusted her for her two tail form, but it was a gift of Matabi's not an ability of Etsuko. It was a fact Etsuko needed to fix, but she didn't have a sage to guide her. She had one friend and one alone who stood above the others, it was Matabi herself and Etsuko knew not an easy way to ask. The journey would need to begin now if she planned to reach an agreement with the two tailed cat of blue flames, Etsuko wasn't sure if she'd reach this goal alone, but she didn't know who to invite to help her train. She knew she needed to get stronger to tame Matabi or wiser to achieve some form of lasting alliance. She didn't know how to win over the cat, but in away she unknowingly provide a decent window for herself. Matabi looked down to Etsuko almost as a mother did to a child, she could help the fact their bond had been so long. Etsuko in years of training to swing a blade in years of honing her speed had ever killed a Takigakure shinobi. She even held those who died in service with her as a great tragedy, she came to these decisions and accomplished these actions through pure determination. Her spirit was good and her nature could be furious in a just manner, Matabi felt as if this girl had learned from her somehow. Matabi had a certain pride to being associated with Etsuko. Matabi couldn't admit it though out of her own pride and discontent to the being sealed. She couldn't find it in her heart to blame Etsuko for the seal though, they'd both been prisoners after all. Etsuko meditated atop a tall rock in the training ground, her eyes were closed and her false ears stuck up in attention. Perfectly waiting to be disturbed. TAG , Notes , other cool stuff

A FIRE INSIDE Blazing a bright blue and christening great power upon it's Kunoichi "Why is it you serve?" Matabi would brazenly ask with a slight distaste for her jinchuuriki's mindset. To the cat it was unbecoming of any woman to be owned by anything. Even if it was loyalty and not ownership, it was a means of demeaning not necessary for one who could be self-sufficient. Matabi didn't really believe in the all for one stature many shinobi adorned, she saw herself and then looked upon Etsuko. The black haired Kunoichi seeming to be stuck in some sort of lifeless trance, it bothered Matabi who'd grown more used to the woman's voice. Etsuko wasn't lifeless nor entranced, she merely wanted to prove concentration. She felt in her heart she was making the right decisions. "I serve to honor." Etsuko would reply with a slight nod, as she'd make sure to not open her eyes. Her stance otherwise totally still as she'd reply to her inner demon's remark. She didn't think about the question much though and she didn't consider her response, she just heard the words in her head and thus spoke them to Matabi. "Hmph..." Matabi would lightly scowl in annoyance to the response, her boredom causing her to pressure Etsuko. "Who're you honoring though and why do you owe any of them honor?" Matabi would question getting the feeling her fellow prisoner wasn't thinking. Matabi and Etsuko had been around together all of Etsuko's life, it was safe to say Matabi knew Etsuko better than anyone else in the village. She knew about the girls struggles, she'd been their through them all. Her powers words and wisdom helping Etsuko ascend to her position of jounin. A position Etsuko deserved with her active and unwavering heart. Etsuko twitched her nose in a display of her displeasure to the questioning. She didn't want to think about anything other than training, she needed to master her chakra if she'd ever master Matabi's as well. "I honor those who've raised me because they've done so..." Etsuko would reply with a troubled look, as she'd shake off the look with two shifts of her face from looking left to right. She'd let out a sigh as she'd return to concentrating her chakra.
