DESCRIPTION:

The Daimyou of the Tea Country has made a mission request of Konohagakure no Sato to put down a particularly bold businessman named Kakuei Tanaka who owns a vast amount of the tea farms within his country. For the past six months this man has been bankrolling the training and arming of many ashigaru forces and even is suspected of hiring on missing-nin to act as field commanders and bodyguards. The Daimyou as well as his councilors suspect Tanaka intends to take over the Southern port town which accounts for nearly 65% of the Tea Country's trade income and may even push on to the Daimyou's palace after using the victory to gain more influence and followers.

Intelligence has been discovered which indicates that Tanaka will be meeting with associates of a criminal organization centered around piracy and smuggling named the Kitabatake family, likely to enlist their help for his suspected future assault on the Southern port city in the country. As such the Daimyou's request has three fairly simple, but important parts:


1.) Kill or Capture Kakuei Tanaka - With the ringleader and main financier taken out of the picture what forces he has managed to raise will likely dissolve or at the very least will fragment apart as potential missing-nin take break away with what men are under their command. If the later occurs after this mission is completed, the Daimyou of the Tea Country has promised related missions to be brought to Konoha over other villages.

2.) Capture and Interrogate the Kitabatake Family Representative - While the Kitabatake are currently not a massive threat to the Tea Country, knowing the sea routes they use and any potential hideouts would help cut down on piracy in the region and as such this opportunity should not be missed.

3.) Seize Documents, Goods or Money from both Groups - Needless to say, if any documents, goods or money are found in the possession of either Kakuei Tanaka or the represenative of the Kitabatake Family, then seizing them would go a long way in proving either or both parties guilt as well as potentially reveal any additional backers of the plot.


Expected Threats - Both Tanaka and the representative of the Kitabatake Family are expected to have a small number of bodyguards with them. While the numbers will not be extensive from either side it is expected that each side will likely have at least two to three bodyguards each with shinobi training. Those with shinobi training are expected to be of at least chuunin skill levels, but may exceed that. (figure chuunin/Sp. Jounin)
