Yanji appears to train another technique entirely but Enyo twists it for himself. So, while helping Yanji grasp tree-walking, he gets to learn more about anatomy and the muscles that activate or don't activate when walking up trees in a truly more practical sense. This advances his knowledge of anatomy and medicine although it is definitely a less 'physical' form of training.
