He then accompanied the remaining traders to their destination, turned over the thief to Earth Country forces, collected his payment, and went his separate way. But not without first receiving an ominous warning.

She offered him a job on the condition that she could personally test his mettle and the two took part in what would become an intense mock battle. While perhaps not intended the pair would hone their skills on one another. They were mutually impressed.

Taki is tasked with clearing out a group of bandits led by rōnin who have allegedly been attacking outposts. Hearing that ex-samurai are on the prowl nearby Uemon interjects himself into Taki's assignment and the two travel to the border. They execute a plan that culminates in the brigands' defeat, albeit not without injuries on their side.

DESCRIPTION: Uemon and Taki have a sparring match with each other with the aim of helping improve on their abilities. Taki practices on her striking and grappling while Uemon works on improving the power behind his attacks. Lacking natural strength he comes up with a creative way of utilizing his chakra threads to buff his physical strength. Taki wins the bout with her superior skills. Quickly he finds out this new technique has drawbacks on his body... but resolves to continue using it anyway to give him an edge in close combat.

With little to no understanding of it he does his best only achieving minimal progress. Taki discovers him practicing and offers help in this endeavor as a Sensor herself. Throughout a long day of attempting to feel and visualize the chakra of others Uemon finally breaks through the wall and begins his slow journey to become a Sensor Type.

For My City For My Town MISSION RANK: B LINK TO THREAD: For My City For My Town LINK TO MISSION: Here DESCRIPTION: A thief strikes in the night, stealing one of the Okada's famed Title Belts from their gym. Teaming up with Taki once again, Uemon and her set out for Tsuruoka on the trail of a potential suspect. A former SSWA prospect with an allegedly short temper. Upon doing some sleuthing the duo manage to narrow down the location to a pawn shop. Shortly after they discover the real shopkeep has been murdered and the person behind the counter is an imposter. Immediately they subdue him to find that he is indeed the thief. Searching the shop they finally locate the Title Belt, haul the man off to the proper authorities, and return back to the gym.

The two clear the air and swap stories, deciding to spar to keep their skills sharp and to learn more about one another in the process. Himari demonstrates some Okada Style techniques and Uemon shows off some of his Jujitsu moves. In the end Himari maintains the upper hand but they both improve.
