Starting Grounds: Roar of the Arena! Takigakure's chunnin exams would take place in a hidden tournament room underneath the villages massive tree. This was where the main village was and without signs to guide spectators, it'd be hard to know such an arena would exist here. There was elevated stadium seats surrounding what looked almost like a fighting arena in the center. However the arena had a strange design to it, almost looking like a child's drawing of a flower. A center circle surrounded by evenly sized oval leafs. A total of eight petals, which would be easily noted by them numbered up to 8. The number drawn at the ends of the petals farthest from the very center circle. Large enough to fit most of the petal even.
In the middle circle would be a small wooden table, it'd have a large black pot in the center of it. Surrounding it were camera's clearly designed to be strapped to a person's shoulder. The event was well prepared, as the crowd would be well aware of the exams start, as well as in a surprise notice the exams end. Supposedly the events of this exam would happen before their eyes in one day, it'd be quite the trying task for sure this year! Once the seats were settled in, then it'd be announced the start of the exams would commence.
Upon this announcement the first participant was to be called up, but they'd be summoned in a very unsubtle manner. Speakers surrounding the stadium would burst out the shinobi's name, their chosen nickname, their village and their present personal nindo. This would help round the crowd up, as the contestant was informed to walk to the center table. Upon reaching the table the contestant is to take a ball from the pot in the tables center. Presenting the number on the ball they'll be expected to take and equip a camera to the table, then proceed to that number on the petals.
It'd be once all eight contestants took their spots that the announcer would explain the rules of the first exam! "This first exam is a test of your wit, you'll be proving it by solving a maze. The fastest to navigate the maze will win, it wasn't built to be destroyed, so expect any attempts to fail. Everything you need to escape will be presented at the start of the maze. There's danger at every dead end, so please treat this like your life is on the line, because your lives will be on the line. Make us proud and prove your worth for the chunnin title!" The announcer would finish with a raised arm presenting a flag, a sign for the exam to begin.
Each petal that the contestants stood upon would begin to sink into the ground, they'd seem to move under the stadium and below the crowds seats. Each petal rotating the same way turning the narrow end of the petal from inwards at the center circle to outwards to where the crowd had once been level with them or higher. Now everyone was well above them, the roar of the confused crowd, as large monitors would drop to display what the shoulder's of each contest portrayed. Each had been instructed a specific camera prior to being even announced, so the large displays would be previewing mostly to that village's spectators and other takigakure citizens just free and interested.
It'd be dark in the sunken pits, but it'd get a lot darker, as a loud clank would be heard below them. It'd sound just before the petal suddenly turned into a slide. A slide ejecting each contestant into their own room, it'd be their entry to the pre-mentioned maze. . . It'd be there exit to this thread ~ !
OOC NOTES HERE: Posting order for this thread is first come first serve. The contestant will be making one post each, in it they'll deliver their version of the announcers introduction for them. They'd grab their camera and take a ball of their leisure, this is to be an at random deal. But unlike normal potluck, this thread will be determined by contestant response. First to post gets to pick first number. That'll be the one number contestant two can't pick and so on until all numbers are taken.
After all eight posts or the first exams completion and hence closing of entrance, then this thread will turn into the thread in which people spectate the exam. They'll be seeing it from the shoulder view of the given camera, as well as some camera's strategically placed along the way. This will in fact remain a desired means the shinobi is watched, if anyone lets their camera get damaged. It could significantly decrease their chances of promotions.
Above all, everyone just try to have fun ~ !
