"I can't believe it worked! I can't believe he's that egocentric!" Cackled a voice clearly losing sanity. The voice echoed sharply through the halls of Yomisekai - the new prison holding the nukenin, however, asylum would better define it. The prison was used to dump the true criminals, terrorists, assassins. anyone that grades higher than a normal prison. Ayato was rather low-ranked to other inmates, their (in)sanity and sadism pale in comparison to Ayato.




"For the love of- Shut up! Now, come with me, today you'll be executed!" The guard in bushido samurai armor stated as he walked to the straight-jacket nukenin. "I said, get up! The guard stated again as he lifted Ayato from a sitting position to standing against a wall by his shirt collar.

"Careful 'Jenkins', you're not my 'executioner'. Wouldn't want to get him mad, would we?!" The white-haired adolescent taunted as the guard stood down. "Now, I would appreciate it if we hurry up, I got a date with destiny!"









"For God's sake, shut up!" The guard yelled as he placed a hand on the wall of the empty room. The wall opposite shifted slightly, forming a door into darkness. "Well- Get in!" The guard motioned his head to the opening at Ayato. Cautiously, the nukenin walked in a straight line through the abyss. After a minute, the guard twisted his hand on the wall and pushed forward.







For a short while, the adolescent was encapsulated by darkness, pure silence engulfed his senses. Ayato closed his eyes as he felt the jacket's chakra shifted, loosening their grip. Ah- thanks 'doc', Ayato thought as, this time, he easily ripped the cloth so his arms were free, in turn, freeing his hands. Ayato heard the stone in front of him shifting and in response he snapped his eyes open.







In the darkness, Ayato's left eye appeared to glow as he shuffled into a lit room. It was as empty as his cell, only nearly four times the size. The 'hall' was well over fifty feet in any direction from it's center. (100 ft x 100ft x 100 ft) Traces of blood stains on the wall suggested the room has been used often. Ayato imagined this was the true core of Yomisekai. He was impressed until he had remembered why he was here.







"KAGUYA! Come and face me like a man! Where are you, dear?!" The nuke nin quickly formed the Dragon and Monkey seals followed by slamming his fists together. The veins around Ayato's left eye began to glow red as his sclera darkened even more and his iris brightened to a scarlet like no other. Red and black chakra visibly amassed at the base of his back before four tendrils shot out and calmly swayed in the air like angered snakes.







"Oh darling?! Come out and play!" Ayato shouted in the vast emptiness of the room.

why do i have to save trash like you?

After a blunt announcement to the tool shop owners where the pair were headed, Ayato could feel the stare of 'What the hell?!' piercing his back. Suzuku had ordered Ayato to keep quiet to any merchant about where they were headed. Of all places, the training lot beyond the village gates, the favored lot of the two. He at least didn't describe why: hidden behind the gated walls towards the secluded back. Ayato cracked his neck before resting his hands behind his head while the pair headed for the gates. Eyes meeting Suzuku's as he smiled warmly at her. Damn, I'm pretty lucky I got in her care. I'm pretty lucky I didn- haven't died since under her care. It feels like we're the closest things to friends? Partners? Given how fucked up this situation is. Ayato thought as he set his arms down, inching his way closer to her. Once in reach, Ayato calmly took his hand to trace a straight line up Suzuku's palm. Like he did the whole year and some months prior, he felt as if the gesture calmed her in some way, especially when she was anxious or angry.

It's honestly a calming feeling just being by her. I don't know- I do know why; but, I don't know how this feels so natural. I almost- I do feel guilty scaring her. Hell, I feel bad she has to watch my sorry ass - as fine as it is - yet, I'm so glad she did. Ayato held his finger in place for what felt like an eternity to him while barely a second has passed. Smiling warmly again, Ayato entwined his fingers with Suzuku, gently holding her gloved hand. With Ayato slightly leading, the pair started a twin-hyper movement towards the village gates. In almost no time, they arrived at the gates.

Seconds passed as Suzuku went to presumably signed them out the village. Ayato awaited her return as he tightened his collar tie. He closed his eyes. Something felt off, Ayato couldn't tell what. Rarely did his paranoia kick in since his detainment; the Nuke still felt the uneasiness at rare moments. Those helped him track other Nukes but it has been literal years since they worried him. When Suzuku looked at his sudden freeze, Ayato motioned her to approach. "Get us the hell out of here. Now!" Ayato stated in a hushed voice, fingers prepared to crack his knuckle. He rarely used the learned maneuver outside of training; but when he did, he always had a good reason. He just prayed Suzuku could see his actual worry. Ayato's breathing slowed as he tried to calm himself. Fuck no! This isn't an overreaction, I swear! Ayato's eyes pleaded to Suzuku.

Shortly after creating this jutsu, which initially needed complex seals to preform, Ayato trained his control to guide and hold the jutsu by merely waving his arms. This allows him to use the jutsu during combat. While hand-seals are still used to summon the tendrils and to preform their S-rank jutsu, for the most part, the tendrils act as an extension of Ayato and act like limbs he controls on a regular basis.

Special Ability #2 - Enhanced Sight
His former - and current - state of paranoia required him to adapt to escape his pursuers. Having a tiny sliver of a Sharingan physiology, Ayato's one eye adapted a new evolutionary feature that proved to aid him. He was able to focus on details a regular person may miss. Unlike the real deal which would have given him extreme abilities, Ayato's experimented eye only allows for enhanced attention to more detail. He may see his pursuers from afar, even from a sole mile away if he looks there. His new sight does not give him any precognitive visuals, nor can it create jutsu. It can only grant him an eerie look, and hawk-like vision in one eye. Because it only affects the mutated left eye, he needs to close his right eye to see farther, if he does not, his vision may scramble to the point of neigh-blindness, Only if he is paying attention to details at close range (10-15 feet) can he have both eyes open.

Special Ability #3 - Enhanced Chakra Control
Due to his former placement as a ninjutsu/combat hunter-nin, Ayato developed a strong chakra control for utilizing ninjutsu, especially since his ultimate (and most used) of fighting styles require ninjutsu to maximize the effects. In order to keep from exhausting himself mid-combat, Ayato trained his body to utilize the minimum chakra necessary to use jutsus. This does not decrease the required amount, this only prevents excess chakra from being used in jutsu, and hinders any loss that may happen when weaving signs.
