He had no intention of dying, and no intention of being lost here. As gravity took him he thought about trying to look at her one last time, and decided against it. What he was out to do was just incredibly dangerous, and he would have his Bijuu's assistance sometime soon. Hopefully.
But he leant his head forward, gathering momentum as he disappeared inside the maw of the beast, the only tale of his existence was the brief blast of flame that came from him as he changed his direction, and into the new, sprawling landscape.
Things were going from bad to worse for the woman who had watched Akira disappear: in the storm of emotions flurrying throughout her bijuu cloak. Shortly after, with the perceived danger having been dealt with, The worm turned its head to the ground and began to burrow, the entrance that Akira had entered disappearing before Arashi's eyes. But it was certainly good at what it did,
If she didn't figure out a way to stop it from burrowing it would be taking off, taking off into the world as huge as it were, and taking Akira with it.
"It's too damn dark!" Akira couldn't see anything as his body was being battered as his manically tried to move across a landscape he couldn't see, he was constantly losing his balance even with the tree walking technique applied, trying to keep himself stuck. He couldn't do anything, much less with the object in his hand if he couldn't see. There was plenty of space, but he needed to identify where things were - things were being cut, his body was being battered as he tried to manouvre through the thousands of rows of large teeth the same size as him and the entire thing seemed odd.
For what it was worth, it felt like he was walking on solid ground: he hadn't ever stepped foot inside a beast before, and didn't exactly know what to expect, but if its body had been host to jewels and minerals that took a millenia to form, whether through time or by the pressured environments, to which Akira didn't know of himself, being unconscious during that talk.
He flung a flash grenade and he heard it sail far away from him when it exploded, the sheer distance made it like trying to cross a canyon, and it gave him an idea of where things were in the brief moment: its body was massive, certainly, but it all seemed to funnel towards a central system, a narrow entrance from inside the mouth. A stomach, perhaps? That was a good start.
But getting there was its own issue: Akira was already trying to dodge through the grinding, swirling teeth as they ate and tried to burrow. Even the sound was unlike anything he had heard before himself - the smell was a bygone thought, though his face was already contorted into a grimace. He had been like this before, once in his life. Doing dangeruos things was in his nature of being a Shinobi: and he had to deal with the consequences of those actions. Though, this had all happened because he'd been sealed into a stupid Fuuinjutsu. He was to blame, and he needed to be the one to fix it.
Then there was the untold amount of debris littering the floor, churning around him - if Akira went for that area, he would lose his grip and be crushed behind the muscles of whatever this beast he was inside, making the... earth and rock palatable. Akira couldn't see it anymore, but he knew it was there, so he crawled his way on top of a tooth, knowing that debris would come flooding through all the gaps: time was growing short.
If he knew where the head was, he could figure out where to best put the explosive tag. All of that, while they were in motion and he was having outside issues to deal with.
He felt fear, an icy cool electric in his blood. His pace had quickened and he hadn't realised how heavy he was breathing - a cool sweat over his body. Nothing had been more humbling so far than the lack of his abilities for this situation. Some things he was good at and others were he lacked! This was that time personified.
Time was running out.
He would take off towards the narrow entrance (which was still massive by comparison) across such a traverse landscape.
Moment one, having his foot drop and being caught between two things he couldn't see as they churned past him, and yanking it out. Moment two, nearly being split in half by two teeth as they moved in opposite directions, for him to fall down, being carried away by debris and into the section he'd really wanted to avoid.
Not going well at all.
