Toru's ears were ringing from the explosion, no doubt because he had been a touch too close when he had set off the blasted thing. But he was headed towards the ground, sheathing his sword mid-air rubbing at his ears glancing up as the mist closed in. He noticed however that the fight wasn't being stopped, which meant that she likely avoided everything. Furthermore, that meant the fight was still on and he was going to take it as such. There was a lot of noise too, from the dust, debris, and rock that flew and hurled everywhere from the explosion. The aggressive rocks flying soon ceased but things continued to tumble nonetheless. Still, in the air but close to the ground, he would expel a very thin layer of water onto the ground below, landing onto it expertly before slipping into it motionless.

He should have stuck to his original plan, but he had not. He was going to follow through now as he disappeared into the water without a single trace. He would remain perfectly still, the jutsu meant to hide him entirely from the field to the extent of even dissolving his chakra signature. It was after all a jutsu meant for an ambush. There would be nothing on the field for Kazui to see and if she chose to clap, Toru was compressed in a space of water at a distance, the vibrations would not reach him only further emphasized by his horribly ringing ears. Allowing him to find a moment of stillness as he stared upwards towards the surface, but was otherwise gone from the world entirely.

Toru had a great deal of knowledge when it comes to weaponry, but his love lies in swords. As a genin his skill and movement with a sword is unparalleled and akin to a prodigy. The sword is just an extension of his body and who he is. When a blade is in his hands he strikes his enemies down quickly and doesn't seem to hesitate when he does so. The form of his body is that of someone who has trained in the art for quite some time, and it is no surprise when he is able to go toe-to-toe with chuunin have never swung a sword.

Speed Like Wind
Toru uses his lithe frame to move around quickly and his training with kenjutsu combined with his desire to be faster has brought to the point that he is at today. In top physical form, he is much faster than not only the average genin but can parallel the speeds of chuunin going at their very quickest - this is generally only true of those have not trained and honed the skills that he has. In more plain terms, Toru can match the speeds of genin who are bukijutsu and taijutsu primary specialists and easily outrun and untrained chuunin.

Lightning Reflex
Toru has impeccable control over his body and muscles, to the point that he appears as if he might be dancing around his opponents with mockery. Not only quick on his feet, he seems to have the reflexes to go along with his speed. It takes a similarly lithe and feline-like opponent to land a proper hit on the small boy. A chuunin with similar speed and reflexes - and proper training - can tire Toru out properly enough to do so, or perhaps a genin although it may take longer. Toru is an almost slimy opponent and is difficult to pin down.

Enhanced Chakra Reserves
Gifted with a larger than normal chakra pool, Toru can easily utilize a series of jutsu without tiring out as quickly as others. Stronger and higher ranked jutsu don't drain him quite as easily and anything with a continuous drain seems to last longer as well.

The two genin fell with grace back into the deep mist. The crowd simmered back down, and the two of them returned to their anticlimactic activity within the fog as well. As stated earlier, Kazui could spot the boy via her own chakra being linked to him. The sound of the tag exploding was violent and debris did fall, but it didn’t distract the girl from keeping a sharp eye on her target.

The crimson eyes followed her chakra as it fell from the wall and towards the ground. It was then that she clapped, trying to catch Toru in yet another genjutsu, but she noticed that the trigger had failed which meant her casting was unsuccessful. That wasn’t a problem. Kazui knew the basis around her genjutsu and if he didn’t get caught it meant he didn’t or couldn’t hear the trigger. That was a bummer, but since that genjutsu didn’t hit, her previous genjutsu was still linked to the target, which meant as he fell into whatever jutsu it was that he used to make himself "disappear”, Kazui still had a somewhat signal to it.

The jutsu he used erased every trace of him, except their chakra signature. The water was used to hide his physical form, not his spiritual energy, the naked eye could easily be deceived but not the sharingan. So as Kazui continued to walk around, it would be quite easy to find the puddle he was hiding in, thanks to her chakra still being linked to his and the fact her sharingan was still active. The girl slowly walked through the mist, not stealth like, just her normal day to day walk as she made her way towards the puddle. It didn’t take long however and once she was just a ways off from his location (approximately two meters away), the girl would simply squat down into a seated position while she was still on her feet. "Is this what you have resorted to, Toru?” The teen would mumble to herself. She continued to simply wait for a bit, scoping out the chakra. What was he doing in the puddle? She wasn’t one hundred percent sure, but the girl was more than certain it was an ambush laying in wait. A nigh perfect strategy against most, but unfortunately Kazui wasn’t going for it.

After a minute or so had passed, the Uchiha would give it yet another try. This time building up energy, the girl would clap her hands together, the sound would be close enough and loud enough to lock the boy in the very genjutsu that she attempted earlier. If his eyes were able to adjust so quickly to genjutsu despite him not seeing much in the mist, then surely his hearing would be able to adjust after a minor explosion.

Breakdown: Hiding In Water doesn’t erase the users chakra signature. I don’t think there is anything on the site other than KME that can completely erase a chakra signature. And since her trigger did not work, the previous genjutsu (double vision) would still be in effect. It only would have ended if the second genjutsu (sink into obscurity) was put into effect since Kazui can not layer her genjutsu. So, Kazui simply follows her own chakra signature to Toru’s puddle and waits a bit before trying her genjutsu again. If the genjutsu connects, since Toru is hiding in water, it would be quite easy for him to tell that he is in a genjutsu.

The first basic dance form required for the majority of the other techniques. By generating movement through the midsection and then quickly transfering that kinetic energy elsewhere to the body, the user effectively doubles the speed and effectiveness of any physical movement they were about to perform. This allows one to make a twice as fast slap, a twice as high jump or a twice as fast kick to name a few. With senjutsu chakra added to the mix, the effects become quadrupled (x4).

To the user it seems impossible to get out, the ground never breaking or relenting. Slowly immobilizing the user, starting with their legs and within two minutes, their entire body. It is easily mistaken for Doton. It can catch one person per casting.

Extreme Intelligence
Kazui is an outstanding scholar and is incredibly intelligent for her age whether she knows it or not. Albeit that she is still very young and is still growing, her intelligence is nothing short of greatness. This ability is shown less when she is living her day to day life, and is shown more when she is in the midst of battle. In her day to day life, Kazui can guess riddles, solve puzzles, and crack any kind of code in only a few moments. These feats are passive to the young girl, and she doesn't think it's that great, it just seems easy to her. On the battlefield, Kazui is able to formulate numerous plans and strategies to fit whatever situation she and her teammates are in.

Enhanced Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile on her feet, even rivaling those who dedicated their life to the art of taijutsu.

Enhanced Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: One Tomoe Sharingan:
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. The sharingan gifts the user a variety of abilities for them to use, the most notable is the user’s enhanced perception to the point where everything that is seen is perceived in a somewhat slowed state which gives the user the ability to analyze and obtain a good sense of the opponent’s movements/actions, and while this is in no way comparable to the likes of a more mature sharingan, the ability is not to be taken lightly. In addition it allows the user to read lips, and decode other movements as well, which stems from the eye’s enhanced perceptive abilities. It also allows the user to see chakra in a physical form, and they are then able to assign color to it, the sharingan can also detect disturbances in a person’s chakra which also allows them to see through genjutsu with absolute ease.

Toru continued on being motionless, his ears still ringing although this would slowly stop. The mosquito sound drowning out to becoming a lot of the dull droning of what the crowd was in the distance, if it was even loud enough relatively speaking. Nothing that created sound in the air was reaching him appropriately, was the underwater atmosphere had a way of drowning out and reducing noise travel severely, slowing it, making it sound very deep or nonexistent. Most of what he felt were things that touched the ground, vibrations from the rocks tumbling and ultimately settling.

He couldn't see far in his thin layer of water but he could see around where he was just above the surface of the water, a thin layer that was meant to be horribly slippery but not quite truly a small puddle that covered a small surface area. It was not twenty-twenty vision, especially not with the slight double he was still seeing, but there were still shadows and ripples that could disturb the surface whilst he remained static.

Toru was paying attention to the mist just above the water more than anything, he didn't need to hear or see properly. He just needed to follow the mist.

He continued to not move, but he could feel something colliding with the ground especially when it got closer. His gaze shifting slightly, looking out of his peripheral awkwardly. The mist was mostly a static entity, but when disturbed with movement it would move more aggressively. Repeatedly using this technique in the past had allowed him this type of knowledge. So, it moved quite a lot in the general direction he was looking at, swirling around and shifting in his direction. Her lack of stealth in her steps would cause more movement from the mist as it swayed and parted around her and billowed behind her. The aftermath breeze that had to roll through after she became still as well, this was not a small amount of mist. He had seen human-sized mist shifting before and what it looked like.

It could have been a large boulder rolling down from the explosion, but that was unlikely. So he chose to make a risky move because he could very well miss his chance if it were Kazui for one reason or another. If it was not, he would simply make his way back into the water and wait again after slicing into the rock. With Kazui pausing waiting for a minute or so, there was a window of opportunity although it did not take him that long to act. He chose to move not long after the mist started to swirl around aggressively and the thoughts of it being someone entered his mind. Toru estimated the distance of where he was going to go, because of where she stood, two meters from him but not two meters from his thin layer of water, the mist and shifting shadow of her presence gave an approximate location one that he would easily adjust for if required of him.

Toru would form a single hand seal just on top of his sword. Gone from his puddle in a flash due to his moving and new technique, he would position himself behind Kazui - good to know it wasn't a rock - with a relative amount of quiet, hands wrapping around the hilt of his sword when he arrived at his designated location immediately. Toru expertly flicked the sword out in what appeared to be a singular motion - although it was two parts - with a speed that was meant to be unseen by anyone's average eye and swung up at a diagonal as before as this was the easiest way to move in this instance. Across the curvature of her spine.

With her semi-sitting and - although he did not know this - building up energy, hopefully, the two techniques side by side would not allow for time to react as it seemed to him as his sword moved upwards that her guard appeared somewhat down. He would follow through, however, if she managed to jump forward to get away, she would likely land on the slippery surface of the water he had conjured causing her to slip around something he would take advantage of by pursuing and attempting to cut into her again.

Synopsis: Toru uses the sudden shifting of the mist to detect Kazui since she did not arrive near his spot stealthily. He uses physical reflexes to perform body flicker from the puddle to where he believes Kazui to be based on the mists shifting while she sit/squats and waits. His arrival at the location he uses quickdraw to draw the sword and try to cut across Kazui's back, utilizing a mixture of speed and reflex to do so quickly.

Though it mimics teleportation, it is important to remember this jutsu merely boosts the agility of its user. As useful as this technique is, it can only be used 4 times in a battle thread, and any more usages beyond that result in muscle tears in the legs from overexertion. The hand seal for this technique must be held until the shinobi reaches their destination, making it impossible to utilize other techniques regardless of any preparation.

The two movements needed to take out the sword in an instant faster than one can raise their guard come from the pulling motion onto the sheath as the user takes out the sword as well as flicking the sword out with their thumb increasing the speed of the pull onto the handle.

Initial contest, hiding in water dulling out sense specifically hearing.

Ultimately no it wouldn't, however reading the posts it doesn't make sense Toru would see the mist moving. Walking doesn't heavily displace mist, so with this verdict it can be presumed Toru perhaps heard the crunch of snow.

Due to Kazui watching the puddle, she'd see him exit then shunshin. As one would have to break hiding in water before performing shunshin.

As she remained stooped there, Kazui would watch the chakra like a hawk. She was around six to seven feet away from Toru, but of course she took into account the thin layer of water, in which separated her from the boy. It had his chakra signature written all over it, so it definitely wouldn’t be smart to wander into it. However, the moment Toru moved, even such a slight movement as going to form a handseal, his technique would come to an end, revealing his position before he even had the chance to do what he had planned.

Kazui would quickly shoot upwards to her full height, since Toru was no longer hiding, the girl could have a chance to formulate what she wanted to do. However, before she could do so, Toru would make his move. In what seemed like an instant, the boy would disappear. There was no confusion on Kazui’s part however, "Teleportation jutsu..” The girl would think to herself. Kazui was a smart girl and understood the motives behind most people’s plan. It would come as no surprise to her if Toru were to choose to go directly for her blind spot after using the shunshin, even though it was a technique normally used for tactical retreats.

She wouldn’t take any chances though, the moment he disappeared from her vision she would copy the same hand seal that he did, blade still in hand, chakra would invigorate her body as her speed was improved to the point where her movements were unperceivable to the naked eye. This jutsu wasn’t being used to reverse the script and for her to end up behind Toru, instead she would flicker away from that area, of course her eyes remained fixed on the boy even after she had gotten out of that immediate area.

Once she reached her spot and managed to quickly gather the little sense of her surroundings as she possibly could, the girl would then clap her hands together, trying to recast the genjutsu that she had planned for the mist shinobi. This was her second attempt at the genjutsu, since the first one had failed and Toru interrupted her at the puddle. The sound of her hands meeting one another with force would echo throughout the mist as well as the arena as the majority of the crowd remained clueless on what was happening. Kazui would not deviate from her plan, and would continue to pursue it if this time just so happened to fail like the first.

This whole post begins and follows through with the action of using Naga Shinsei: Doutai no Mai [Sacred Serpent: Dance of Movements]
. However this jutsu should only be obtainable for the Snake Sage and apprentice. 

Verdict: Despite the mistake and not noticing it until now, it'll sadly have to be pulled from the application and thus fight. I will be allowing for a quick substitution though, so any taijutsu allowed of the same rank I'll swap it out with. To be used within this post if necessary, as for the post in whole it will need to be edited. If possible kept in the same manner as originally planned, but if not possible. I will allow a complete re-edit.

As the fight began Taki took a seat beside Midori the combatants were a white haired young man who carried a sword and his opponent an Uchiha but Taki wouldn’t know what that is all she saw was that she had a Konoha headband attached to her head. Taki was riled up standing out of her seat and spouting obscenities at the girl! "Hey! White hair! Put this Uncle nappin Konoha scum into da ground!” she’d shout hoping that the young girl would hear her. Taki hated Konoha due to what they did to her and her family and as result if she even so much as sees a Konoha headband the girl instantly sees red she couldn’t stand to be anywhere near them and all she wanted to do was rip their heads off.

The girl was young and immature and didn’t really know how to deal with her anger. Her entire reason for being a shinobi completely hinging on this hatred for those individuals who she felt hurt her and her family. It might’ve been dangerous to speak this way here and now but she didn’t care, she wanted all the Konoha scum to know exactly how she felt about them. If she could she’d spit at the girl or hell even go down there and try to fight them herself. But for now she’d have to settle for watching from the stands which wasn’t much seeing as halfway through the fight all she was able to see was just a large amount of mist.

"The fuck kinda genjitsu or whateva is this.” She’d say looking to her instructor. She’d then look out at the mist and for a while nothing happened until eventually the two shinobi would be fighting along the wall. Taki looked out and was incredibly confused they’re standing on the wall. "How’re they doin dat Miss Midori!?” she’d look to her flabbergasted. It was a simple technique but probably nothing that she’d ever seen before given her family’s distance from the shinobi world. She kept her eyes locked on the fight as it went on, still watching Kazui as the fight went on. "Put that Konoha Scum in a body bag!” she’d say heckling the konoha shinobi.

Things had still been weighing on her mind, ever since they laid Akira to rest, the woman had been having trouble clearing her mind. It was no surprise that this cut her deep, having not experienced such pain in her heart and spirit since the day she lost her teammates in battle. However, this - this feeling was much worse. Akira was like a son to her, she helped him with everything and he helped her as well. Losing him broke the woman down more than anything she had felt before, to the point where whenever she was alone she would search for comfort at the bottom of a bottle. She never found it. However, she had to put on a front for those who she cared about, especially her students. Midori had to set the example that this was the life of a shinobi, and that death was inevitable and nothing to be broken about. So as the woman sat there watching the first fight with a blank look on her face, she would hear her student get active with the contestants as if she were the one fighting.

”Hey! Why don’t you sit down and shut up!”

The young girl’s words would manage to gather a few judgemental eyes from others who watched along, some even mumbling underneath their breath, and one brave soul telling the girl to sit down and shut up. A quick glare from the woman would make the man return his ass to his seat, likely glued there for the rest of the match and without any further issues from him. Midori was going to handle the situation before the man spoke up rudely, now she would decide when to mute Taki. No one dared touch the girl, nor would they be brave enough to confront the sage about it, so ... on went the girl.

Her eyes returned to the battlefield quickly, just in time to see the young white haired shinobi create a thick layer of mist to obscure the battlefield. The woman would scoff softly beneath her breath, she didn’t expect anything less from a mist shinobi. It seemed that Taki was confused about the concept of it, and would ask the woman what exactly it was.

"Well..it’s a suiton ninjutsu. Only taught in Kirigakure, the user creates small droplets of water in the air which cools rapidly, creating a thick layer of fog, obscuring everyone’s vision.”

The woman explained softly to the girl. It was as simple as that and there wasn’t really much to add onto it, but Midori would toss in a bit more just to give her student a heads up, just in case. "In the hands of the right shinobi this can be one of the most deadly jutsu, you definitely wouldn’t want to find yourself lost in that mist with a chunin from Kirigakure, let alone a jonin.” The woman explained.

With that being said, Midori would turn her focus back towards the mist before letting out a sigh. She couldn’t see a thing, which made the fight a little bit of a mystery. If she wanted she could enter sage mode to get a feel, but that wasn’t something that the woman used for no reason.

Toru appeared to find that no one was there or at least the after image was disappearing, so no sword drawing the movement was cut completely instead his hands flashed through three hand seals - they were familiar enough - and he would send a jet of water all around him from his hands, he would spin in a circle to accomplish this, pivoting using his reflexes and speed for a fast uproar of a water jet spewing from his hand. The intention was to capture Kazui in the jet - since she was gathering her bearings and preparing a jutsu - simultaneously interrupting her clap and letting him find her once it - hopefully - made contact with her body since he would feel the push against his palm of the water. When he knew or figured out where she was, and she was assumedly distracted and soaked with the water jet he was spewing he would pursue. Quickly.

His katana drawn now with one hand he would fly in Kazui's general direction, not letting up the water jet, moving and holding it to her general presence until he could see her although knowing now not to look directly at her hands to avoid hand seal triggering genjutsu. He didn't want her doing anything while he couldn't see her. Once she and he were in each other's presence and facing each other, he would turn off the jet and stomp the ground immediately and with how her Sharingan worked he was hoping that she was keeping her eyes on him like a hawk. Enough so that when he did stomp the ground she would see it and he would appear to be moving extremely fast - matching that of someone who is moving at an eight gates speed. The stomp also propelled him forward so it was a trigger the illusion and him beginning to move towards her at the same time. It was a genjutsu meant to distract her, not exactly put her there permanently, just long enough for him to fly at her with a technique from before, meant to cut into her axillary artery (though he would do this regardless of if the genjutsu worked or not). Which, would normally be deadly but since this was a supervised environment Toru felt comfortable doing this... At least if she got medical help fast enough. This would also make using her arms along her chest not only painful but also progressively more deadly (because it not only cut a vital artery but also musculature across her chest from one arm/upper chest to the other).

Though this slash was not the only thing Toru would attempt, for if she jumped back and managed to avoid this slice he would thrust his sword forward in a lunging manner, and if this did not impale her - he aimed for the upper stomach - from the extended lunge alone any attempts to continuously jump may be thwarted as he would extend his sword with water in perpetuity for approximately ten feet, giving her what he hoped was little time to react, to rest and think about her next move. He would follow up even if she would jump into the air with this thrusting water move, adjusting mid-battle with the use of his reflexes.

Synopsis: Toru summons a jet of water - since Kazui is in the immediate area - to interrupt her bearing gathering/clap. He uses this jet to find her as well, stomps to create a jutsu once they can see each other, and flies at her with a swinging arc buki technique to cut her axillary artery, which if she jumps back he follows up with a forward lunge aiming at the upper stomach to get her with a personal buki tech.

The sword is just an extension of his body and who he is. When a blade is in his hands he strikes his enemies down quickly and doesn't seem to hesitate when he does so. The form of his body is that of someone who has trained in the art for quite some time, and it is no surprise when he is able to go toe-to-toe with chuunin have never swung a sword.

Toru uses his lithe frame to move around quickly and his training with kenjutsu combined with his desire to be faster has brought to the point that he is at today. In top physical form, he is much faster than not only the average genin but can parallel the speeds of chuunin going at their very quickest - this is generally only true of those have not trained and honed the skills that he has. In more plain terms, Toru can match the speeds of genin who are bukijutsu and taijutsu primary specialists and easily outrun and untrained chuunin.

Toru has impeccable control over his body and muscles, to the point that he appears as if he might be dancing around his opponents with mockery. Not only quick on his feet, he seems to have the reflexes to go along with his speed. It takes a similarly lithe and feline-like opponent to land a proper hit on the small boy. A chuunin with similar speed and reflexes - and proper training - can tire Toru out properly enough to do so, or perhaps a genin although it may take longer. Toru is an almost slimy opponent and is difficult to pin down.

Gifted with a larger than normal chakra pool, Toru can easily utilize a series of jutsu without tiring out as quickly as others. Stronger and higher ranked jutsu don't drain him quite as easily and anything with a continuous drain seems to last longer as well.

Crimson red eyes remained focused on her own chakra signature that provided her with the boy’s location. Coming to a halt a good distance away from the young mist shinobi, Kazui could hear the sound of water beginning to spew out and crash against the rocks, but that didn’t mean much, for the Uchiha would stick to her plan. Since Toru had to weave the hand seals to his technique and spin in an attempt to hit the girl regardless of where she stood, as well as the fact that the boy was shooting the jet of water aimlessly, Kazui would have just enough time to get her jutsu off without interruption.

As the girl lifted her hands, she would clap them together quickly, with the crowd silenced - the sound would be loud enough to catch her target in the genjutsu that she had been trying to pursue, because even the faintest sound heard from the clap could lock a target in. However, the water that had been shot all around the arena would eventually end up crashing into the girl, leaving her soaked and pushing her to the side a bit, she had managed to use her arms to shield herself from some of the force. Although, since she wasn’t exactly close to Toru, the pressure behind the water wouldn’t be enough to knock her off of her feet.

With the trigger being completed and the genjutsu being initiated, Toru would begin to find himself sinking further and further into the ground as the clock continued to tick. He would lose mobility in his leg, and as time went on he would lose the ability to move his arms, body, all the way until he was completely immobilized from head to toe. Kazui on the other hand would continue to move around the outskirts of the arena until she knew the genjutsu was in full effect, she didn’t want to run the risk of him using more ninjutsu since his hands were still free for the moment.

Chunin Exams Round 3

With the rather improvtive and sudden end of her own match up, Miho was able to quickly get over to see how things were going with Kazui's own set up for this exam. As she wasn't really able to take much of a seat for this, the young woman would watch from the side as she did her best to make out the condition of the woman. She appeared to be fairing well, but honest experience could tell anyone how fleeting such a concept was. You could have all the energy in the world when you began, and soon be exhausted when the real moment of truth came. Still, her hopes were on the Uchiha to see this through...as she was certain that the seem was felt of Kazuto. She even imagined that he was out here somewhere..the softie that he was for his student. "You can do this Kazui...just find a way..." SPOILER: Click to show

The water spewed forth, drowning the world out as he spun around. The clap would go unheard due to the loud roaring of the water jet and Kazui would be soaked. Giving Toru knowledge of where she was, he would follow through on everything he intended to do after he figured out her location once the water jet flew at her. It was enough to get him to figure out where she was, and his katana was drawn now in mere moments with his free hand, now as he pushed towards Kazui's general direction. Not letting up the water jet until he was in her presence and they were - as before - face to face.

She would attempt a retreat but he could follow the splatters of water until he caught up. Her moving on the outskirts would not be enough in this instance and she would have nowhere to back up to since she was already on the edge. So, he would stomp the ground hoping she would see it to put her under genjutsu and rush her straight one with his sword. The stomp propelling him forward as he sliced at the air with a fast moving arc with his sword to draw blood at her axillary artery and cause a loss of mobility in the arms, and excessive amounts of blood loss as well.

He decided to follow through though, whether she managed to back up or not he would thrust his sword forward in a standard lunge meant to pierce her in the stomach to cause more lethal damage - assuming she did not get medical help fast enough - and if she chose to move along to get away, she would be pursued for ten feet by sharp water as an extension of the blade. Adjusting mid-battle to really try and drive his intentions home, he didn't want to let her get away time and time again from the reach of his sword.

Kazui continued to travel alongside the outskirts of the arena, moving along the wall as her crimson eyes remained fixed on the very chakra signature that her body was accustomed to. Her genjutsu provided her with Toru’s location, and her eyes were able to see it clearly. As she slowly crept along the battlefield, each second that passed Toru would find himself sinking deeper and deeper into the ground, his body immobilizing starting with his feet, all the way throughout his body, until he was virtually unable to move.

Once his movements came to a halt, Kazui would begin to make her way towards him, her blade being drawn from its sheath, and ready to be wielded. If he accepted defeat in time, then the girl would pull her strikes, as she did not truly want to physically harm Toru, but if he fought on, then the outcome would be a bit more rough. Chakra invigorated the girl’s body, and in a flash the girl would dash towards him slashing her blade just as quickly as she appeared. The cut would sever his dominant arm at the elbow, but with the shock from the blade, he wouldn't feel the blade or his arm, only numbness. Then the girl would follow it up by driving Karito through the boy’s chest, just below the collarbone.

If he still refused to admit defeat, then Kazui would have no choice but to drag the blade horizontally across his chest, from one end to another. The girl wasn’t normally brutal in nature, but if it came down to it, then she would not hesitate to do so, despite the somewhat feelings she held in her heart for the boy. He looked out for her by making sure the girl didn’t freeze to death, they were teammates at a point, but all of that would be buried in her mind. In this moment, Toru was her enemy, and he will be treated as such. There weren't any hard feelings, Kazui just wanted to win.

Breakdown: I do not believe this jutsu would be able to completely nullify Toru’s sense of hearing. There would be some additional noise added to the arena, but ultimately it would not block out the sharp/piercing noise of someone clapping their hands together, which can echo under certain circumstances. I have asked about the jutsu being used to drown out sound, and I am confident enough to say that Toru would have been caught in the genjutsu. Even if Toru heard the slightest of sound from her hands, he would be caught. Nevertheless, the genjutsu and Kazui gives him time to forfeit, but if he doesn’t, then she will look to finish the fight.

NAME: Shunpo [Flash Step]

CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low
CLASSIFICATION: Taijutsu
DESCRIPTION:
The first principle of Senkouken is speed- Being able to act quickly and efficiently. Senkou's core move thus is a technique that allows the user to propel themselves forward by allowing for a sudden push of chakra through their legs and down to eventual strike from their feet onto the ground, propelling themselves at a speed that their movements become a blur. Skilled user's may project themselves at a point where they are no longer seen, and may utilize multiple steps in their attack. Shunpo has been know to be similar to Shuushin since they both hold the same principle of increasing ones physical states to increase speed. This jutsu is only to be primaraly used for handful of steps since its primary use is for close range combat. The longer the distance the more strain on the muscles will occur. If the user uses this jutsu over 5 meters in a single burst it will cause server damage in the leg muscles. [Counts towards Shunshin 4 Times per thread]
