Dressed in a thicker Jacket that resembled his usual green coat, with the Gure Clans symbol embroidered on the back of it. Gure Yuuta, one of Konoha’s strongest shinobi made his way to where the next stages of the exams were taking place. Yuki no kuni and subsequently Yukigakure no Sato were wildly different than back home. When he first arrived the foreigner toured the village looking to see if any Gure had migrated to the spectacular city of snow. Yuuta made sure to stick to the areas that were allowed for visitors. One thing he didn't want to do was create an international incident by accident. If he were to do such a thing it'd be on purpose. [break][break]

" Issei… Rokurou and yes even Kazui. You've all came such a long way. These exams will be the driving force that shapes their future. Kekekkkk,I conveniently forgot to tell them I would be attending. Oh well, let's see just far Konoha’s next generation have come”[break][break]

After making his way to where the matches were to take place. Yuuta would introduce himself to the guards, proctors and Yuki shinobi he'd come across on his way to Konoha’s area to overlook the battle. Sitting down with the various dignitaries, wealthy civilians and shinobi from Hi no kuni; he'd watch as Issei and his opponent took to the field. A smile crept across his face as he watched his glow with a confidence that were unlike the Issei he knew back then. As he took to the stage, so to did his opponent. Yuuta eyed the child, a girl, silver haired and scantily dressed. It made him wonder how could she don such a skimpy outfit with how cold the country was. He wondered if Issei thought of this, probably not the boy could be denser than the Hokage mountain back home. [break][break]

To say Yuuta was surprised when Issei activated the Sharingan, would be an understatement. The jounin had worked and prodded the boy for a couple of years before having to downright scare him into trying to awaken it. Needless to say that tactic didn't work, however Issei had proved his mantle as a Uchiha and shinobi of the hidden leaf during a mission that could’ve cost both their lives. [break][break]

"tch Genjutsu? Who the hell taught him that"[break][break]

The jounin spoke to no one in particular, becoming slightly annoyed at issei’s use of illusions; a shinobi art Yuuta didn't have skill in. The jounin’s thoughts raced at the idea of Issei being taught by someone else. Hell, Kazuto had already tried to steal his student several times He’d make a mental note to ask Issei where’d be pick up that jutsu when they returned home, Yuuta continued to watch the ongoing battle; eager to see just how the kunoichi would respond. However, Issei didn't let up on his initial assault effortlessly putting together a combination that exploded within the ice slicked arena. It would seem that Issei had landed a effective blow to his enemy. However, to the trained eye, such as a jounin's, one could see that the opponent hadn’t even tried to defend against Issei's assault. Which meant two things, this Kunikune or whatever either had something up under her sleeve or she was petrified with fear. After seeing her stand from the attack, Yuuta’s face would widen into a smile. She’s good… I wonder just how good though…[break][break]

It was an honor to say the least, Katsune doesn't know if it has to do with his rank or his position, or even his help training one of her Genin, But here Katsune was, viewing the final round of the Chūnin Exams. He was mostly interested in Wasurete's fight but after some more, the most peculiar one took place. Katsune leaned forward to see another of Etsuko's brat come out to face a decently taller shinobi. She was pretty relaxed, even arrogant. Yet, his attention was stolen by a man's mummer words. His eyes focused hard on the fight, but he was taken back. "Pardon, who's that boy fighting the girl, sir?" Katsune asked, pointing at the combatants as he did something that made the girl act peculiar as he. The battle seemed short as the girl was immobilized and and blasted with a fireball. He laughed as the girl was consumed by the fire.

"Oh dear god, he's in for a wild wide." The Jōnin clarified as a black mass appeared to come up in the smoke before ash and black smoke covered a large as hell area. Maybe Etsuko didn't fuck up. He thought as the boy leaped out of the smoke and a rogue arm shot after him before landing a solid punch. "No wonder she's cocky. Just like Yosaiyama!" The man chuckled and gave a slow clap. "The boy's done, sir. Better pray she holds back. A monster trained another monster." The Jōnin adjusted his seating as he cracked his neck.

"Who else thinks this fight is done?" Katsune asked openly, clapping slowly and chuckling.

Instead, she would have arrived at Byakuya with her daughter on her arm, swaddled in furs.  The Kaguya dots were drawn on her brow, the dawn-like red hair was pulled back in a swirling bun and she too was dressed in furs and warm fabrics, Hues of gold, black, blue and white hugged her body and while her outdoor outfit did little to hint at the curves, the tailoring of the indoor outfit did. She would be watching the fight rounds, her eyes glued to the konoha genin. An Uchiha. She wouldn't lie if she hoped to see the takigakure genin utilize lethal force and devour the Uchiha. It meant one less to wipe out when Konoha came under new management.  Another would be commenting on the fight, a Takigakure shinobi if looks and the comment was anything to go by. It made a small smile tug at the edges of Minako's lips and she would lean against a pillar, aquamarine, cold blues looking to the leaf shinobi, then the waterfall one.  "I suppose I should be rooting for the young girl. Though I can't say I know much about her or her abilities. Perhaps you'd like to enlighten us on who the leaf boy is fighting?" Yuuta continued to watch the battle the girl seemed durable but Issei’s flames weren't too be taken lightly; the jounin knew this for a fact. Still, though… for her to take the first blaze head on was a feat in itself. Yuuta would be lying if he were to say he wasn't giddy with excitement. He was practically besides himself to see everyone's abilities. His attention would be taken away from the exams as a man was speaking to him, but because of the second explosion he couldn't hear a word he had said. Once the force and sound of the explosion broke, Yuuta looked at the man and paused a bit, not knowing what he wanted or what he’d asked for. Smiling nervously, he didn't know what to say so he figured the man was the girl's sensei[break][break]

" oh you're talking to me? Kek… couldn't hear you, on the account of the explosions… oh that boy? Well, He's one of my boys, one of the two boys that might just become the next Hokage…. That is… If I don't take on the mantle myself.”[break][break]

Yuuta was quite serious about the latter part of his statement, over the past few months a sense of responsibility had come to life within the man; although not enough for him to become Kazuto but perfectly enough for him to think about the future. Which isn't to say Lady Niko wasn’t qualified or that she isn't completing her duties. In fact it was because of her that Konoha had experienced peace after the third war. Yeah, tensions were always going to be high but things had been relatively calm. A kunoichi joined them around the moment Yuuta mentioned becoming the Hokage. [break][break]

"Thanks, M'lady. I was wondering the same thing actually. Well… go on! The lady asked a question””[break][break]

The jounin spoke as if he were talking to Kazuto, Inari or Nomi; very familiar and without much tact or sense of respect. That isn't to say he didn't mind his words and actions, last thing he needed was to be scolded by Miho; who saw him as a good boy. An image he wanted to never distort. Yuuta didn't continue his outburst stopping because the woman had asked the same question he wanted to know.[break][break]
"She's pretty tough but that boy… I trained him myself and even I wouldn't tank too many of those fire balls. The Uchiha clan’s flames can become troublesome”[break][break]
When the second explosion went off, Yuuta was honestly surprised but said nothing to further boast about Issei. His statement had been made, there wasn't a need to reiterate. Despite his lack of tact, the Gure's expression seemed to glow like how pregnant woman exude that sense of expectancy. It was safe to day Yuuta were genuinely intrigues rather showing blatant superiority, arrogance or pride. As his eagerness began to boil over the Gure were about say something that could be taken as a provocation or at the very least, inconvenient for the moment. [break][break].

" I'll have to remember to tell Issei not to forget this girl. One day she'll be extremely strong. He might not be so lucky next time. Wouldn’t you two say so?” [break][break]

Watching how aggressively the two started, it made the Jōnin wonder whether these two had past beef. Katsune listened as the Jōnin said this boy was trained by the man Katsune just questioned. Nodding to the answer, all Katsune did was smile and congratulate the other for having students make it this far. He cracked his neck, watching the boy manage to take hold of the limb, causing the girl to walk out unscathed and rip her arm back. Even that surprised the waterfall Jōnin was taken aback by his mitigation before the two egged him on about her. "Greetings miss, anyways... yeah. This brat has along ass name on top of her damn long clan name, we just call her Kuni. I think I don't need to say much that she shares the same origin and abilities as Mikatakujira Yosaiyama, Taki's longest first Lady. Unrefined but potentially equally dangerous, even more so since her teacher is Taki's strongest weapon, and the main threat in last year's 3rd round." Katsune kept the explanation brief, what they had was a kinjutsu, a hijutsu impossible to learn and extremely difficult to master.

"Uchiha flames, you say? Sounds like a pretty fair fight, a novice Mikatakujira and what looks like a stage 1 Uchiha." Katsune mused, fairly shocked and slightly worried how Etsuko's student would fare. Both had fearsome abilities and both seemed to know how to use them. Kuni was quick to anger it seemed as she charged the boy. "What about you, miss uh... wait... Pardon, Mizukage-sama! I failed to realize it was you. Um, how do you believe the battle will go? I and I think our leaf friend here, are bias to our villages. So how do you think the fight will fare?"

Katsune chuckled nervously, not how he imagined the day to go. But still, something about the girl seemed a bit off, like she was missing something. "The infamous Sharingan versus the terrifying Earth Grudge Fear... sounds like a horror tale."

[Senju Kazuto]

The Senju had stepped into the arena, draped in his cloak and covered by the warmest clothe that he could find. Still he found the deep chill of winter biting at his bones as he stood in the midst of the spectators, trying to lose himself in the masses as he tried to watch the matches of all the young shinobi of his village but more importantly those of Miho and Kazui. Crossing his arms before his chest as he looked on, finding that Issei had already finished his match. He was glad of that. The young Uchiha was a person and there was a great shinobi on his own right, in time he might even become one of the most important shinobi of the village. His eyes would then try to find the field were Miho had her own match but somehow she saw her walking away from the field, his eyes widening in surprise as he didn't saw any injuries in her, in fact, she hadn't even seem to break a sweat and from this distance she seemed disappointed to not have actually fought yet she had being declared the victor of the fight. A part of him was at ease that she had come unscathed from her first combat stint in the exams but he could understand the disappointment of not having actually fought after so many months of preparation. It was then that his eyes would drift towards the fight that his student was having, finding nothing but a think field of mist and no sight of the young Uchiha to be found. They were still fighting it seemed and he couldn't say when that it would be finished so instead he continued to walk about, pulling his hood until he heard the familiar voice of Yuuta, boisterous about Issei's ability about being the next Hokage, that was if the Gure didn't nab the title himself first. Silently stepping towards the group of shinobi around him, one that he didn't know and the other that he did only because of the reputation she carried as Mizukage, he sneaked behind them and spoke. "I rue for the day you become Hokage before Issei does, Yuuta." The Senju said in a quiet voice as he seemed to materialize from almost nowhere. "Congrats on Issei's victory. The quality of the student reflects the teacher." He would tell the man as he stepped next to him as he moved his hands inside the sleeves of his cloak before he would eye the Mizukage and nod towards the woman. "Mizukage." He said in curt but flat tone before looking at the other man and repeating the gesture of respect.

Takigakure had only just become an ally of the Mist, so she was just as interested in how their genin fared as they enemies were. The stranger from the leaf would seem to have summoned another leaf shinobi with his words, the stranger appeared as if from the shadows. Minako’s chakra swirled and she would look to the newcomer with a piercing blue gaze as small drops of blood landed on the floor. Her hand retreated into her sleeve, effectively hiding the bones piercing the skin there. She was used to Arizo sneaking around, but that didn’t mean she grew any less wary of those who made no sound when arriving or leaving. She would return the nod, looking back to the fight. If you assumed a fight was over before it had been called, you only managed to convey arrogance and sick pride sure to put more against you than with you. Her eyes would be glued to the fight until the Takigakure shinobi realized who she was. She sent him a soft smile and reassured him no offense was taken. For a moment she had just been another jounin spectating the match. "All is well. Hmm…” She looked back at the fight, seeing fire and threads and her aquamarine hues followed their movements with ease. "I do believe chaos needs a direction. Or it is simply going in all directions. Kuni needs that. She will likely find it eventually, but I think the Uchiha will have luck on his side this time.” Her eyes went to the Takigakure shinobi, her face pulling a small grimace before a soft mewl demanded her attention and she shifted the bundle on her arm, shushing it. The Taki shinobi was as lively as ever. The foreigner made sure to not give up too much info however he did mention how Kuni's sensei was some big shot in the Hidden Waterfall Village. Yuuta's penchant for information caught on quick to the name of kuni's ability; "Earth Grudge Fear, huh? So those threads..." Kazuto’s comment stopped Yuuta from insisting the Taki ninja to continue on about the Earth Grudge Fear ability. In all honesty, the Senju's comment genuinely made his fellow Jounin chuckle; the Senju wasn't wrong in his sentiment. Gure Yuuta was fit for numerous positions within Konohagakure given his abundance of information. As far as Hokage was concerned, on paper or when speaking technical Yuuta’s prowess and skill would make him a candidate. However, when it came to the paperwork; Yuuta would honestly fail in his duties. More than likely he'd get Kazuto or someone to fill out the forms for him and he'd just sign it. "Whaddaya mean Kazuto? I like to think I’d do a smashing job. As lady Mizukage said… let chaos reign…”

After a moment looking back at the match that was now over, the Mizukage would speak again and for the briefest of moments Yuuta felt like he had met her once before but he couldn't place it. Smiling slightly, he wondered if the Mizukage were trying to gather Intel on their whereabouts after the exams had concluded. Yuuta’s curious nature reared its ugly head, seeing how it wasn't everyday that one met the Kage of another nation’s hidden village. "Actually, I Plan on seeing the sights later. Hopefully I could find some souvenirs for everyone back home” he paused as several ideas popped into his mind. Letting everyone else answer the Mizukage's question before he'd continue.

Before Yuuta could offer the leader to join him, despite the odds of her declining the invitation, weighing against him… The next match of the Chunin exams were about to begin. Issei had won the bout between, Kuni? Was that the name the Mizukage used? Maybe… Yuuta was more excited about meeting the Katsune and Minako; then the announcer person would introduce the next contestants. Uchiha Kazui vs Kaguya Toru; an immediate smile would form on the man's face as he looked at the two fighters then at Kazuto and then the Mizukage. "oh! Hey Taki dude! You see that girl? She's Kazuto’s pupil. And it just so happens that she's going up against a Kaguya?” Pausing quickly to turn his attention to the Mizukage

The sensory information coming in from the battle below to the idle chatter around seemed to just blur to white noise as the man thought about what he'd just heard. Without any sort of context, he truly believed the other was serious about this man stating this guy was a Hokage candidate. Why, how? Katsune was snapped out of his daze as the Mizukage asked what sounded like a question. He turned to the first Konoha nin, it seemed like he was more focused on getting trinkets than take in Byakuya sights. Another fight was starting another Uchiha and a Kaguya. "Maybe I might go there. I don't re-"

Katsune's ill-timed answer was interrupted by the ecstatic Jounin's statement fetching his attention. His eyes instantly jumped to him before the arena as he explained who this Kazui was. As the Jounin stated this girl was death's student, Katsune looked at the stoic Jounin, eyes asking for confirmation if the happy lad's words were true. Serizawa turned again towards the Mizukage, listening to her answer. After, Katsune smiled and spoke at Yuuta. "Congrats man, you raised a fine student!" Katsune turned back to the match.

Wonder how pissed Etsuko will be. Katsune thought as he postured up to watch the fight.

As Yuuta would speak, the Senju simply eyed the continued fights, his sight never staying away too far from the happenings in the matches, only daring to stroke his chin as he analyzed and dissected the information as it came to him, narrowing his eyes as he noticed the victory of his own student against the Kaguya. Despite himself he would smile thinly as a measure of pride would escape his guarded nature. Her foe had not being an easy one, specially since fighting Kiri shinobi was something that even the most seasoned veteran of Konoha would struggle with, even he had crossed blades with members of that village in the past and he had survived only for his wits. As the man from Takigakure would congratulate him for the quality of his student, Kazuto closed his eyes for a second drawing a long, cold drought of frigid air. Barely moving his head and taking a glance at the man from Takigakure, allowing for some seconds as he chose his words to address the three shinobi that were present with him. "She did fine." He said, wisps of white haze escaping his lips as he spoke before returning his gaze at the fight that had ended with Kazui's victory. "There is still much work to be done." He would add as he would wonder how would the next match ups be decided. The criteria wasn't exactly clear to him. "I don't think Issei and Kazui will fight anytime soon." The Senju stated as he would look at Yuuta. It would be odd after all to put two shinobi from the same village and from the same clan in the exams at this stage of the event. Perhaps they would fight in a later round. "Nor against Miho for that matter." He said in an almost certain tone, after all the three of them had won their fights, albeit his beloved had obtained victory as her opponent had chosen to forfeit. "Don't you all agree?"

The Lady Mizukage would watch as the fight came to a close. For some reason, these chuunin exams seemed far too… childish. If the villages wanted to posture and puff themselves up and reduce themselves to glorified entertainment, then she could think on a much easier way to test her shinobis’ skillsets. Her dear project on the fish island drawing her attention and the voices grew to be white noise until the announcer introduced Toru and Kazui. Aquamarine eyes landed on the talkative man from Konoha. A smile tugged at her lips, "yes, my son. He has much to work on, but has the makings of a fine swordsman.”

She would watch the more silent man from Konoha, as he spoke, airing his consideration about how it was unlikely for the three mentioned genin to fight again soon.

"They likely have a day of rest between rounds, as per usual.”

Her voice was cool, a faint edge to it. She did not like seeing the boy lose. In the moment, she wanted to drag the white haired genin into a training area and… encourage him to not let it happen again. He wore her name now. One of the few shinobi to do so. Any who dared smear the name Kaguya and liken it to useless and nothing like its past glory, would not live long enough to truly regret it. But then, as she watched him leave the arena, she would be reminded of the time she had lost and her father had had her run through drills till the moon’s pale face rose high in the sky… She chewed the inside of her cheek for a moment, knowing the white haired genin would likely fight her every step of the way if she decided to draw inspiration from her father.

She turned her attention towards the company again, her features growing more relaxed, with a sigh she would don a smile as she spoke, "if you have not been yet, there is a fine restaurant here - Golden Crane. Good food, good staff, and if you want, you can watch a play while you eat. It came highly recommended from the Yuki Lady’s assistant. ”

The Mizukage did not have plans to go herself, but since at least two from the party present seemed eager to explore, she offered it up. One leg came to rest over the other and she leaned back in her seat, eyes going to the arena once again as the next match was announced, some Nakajima Taro and Gure Rokurou. She watched as two dark haired genin came onto the field. From their last names, it likely meant fire and mushrooms. That is, if she remembered correctly about the clans. After all, the Nakajima were from Yukigakure and the Gure found their home in multiple places. She looked to the two leaf shinobi, her voice growing more friendly, she shouldn’t be making enemies in a place like this. Plus, the talkative one… He was familiar…

"Thank you." Kazuto replied with a murmur to the Mizukage and her recommendation. He couldn't say that he was particularly enticed. The name itself sounded rather uppity and he could guess that the clientele would be whatever passed to be as the nobility of this frozen land. In all honesty, he would've rather just find the nearest stand and buy food from there and be content with the meal. "I will take your recommendation in consideration, Mizukage." He added, deciding to give enough deference to her for her rank, if the histories were to be believed then she was fearsome in battle, respect her rank was what he could do to show some deference to her. As he continued to follow the results of the match he would kept his counsel about them, taking stock on what was the tendency of the winning villages. So far it had seemed that Konoha had been the dominant ones, although when the Mizukage made a mention about her son being the Kaguya that Kazui had fought, he quietly wondered if this was the same boy from Kirigakure that she had a scuffle with at the beginning of the exams. He had to supposed that whatever grudge that had been created at that moment had being settled with their fight in the exams, of course, there was also the probability that this mean that his apprentice had made a rival out of someone that hailed from a clan of warriors like the Kaguya. "Your son has the markings of a great warrior." The Senju added still, perhaps some recognition of the training she had seemed to put him through. Surely his name would be of renown if he didn't find himself slain in the midst of battle. Perhaps some day he would have to fight him too, after all he had no illusion about the peace that he and Yuuta were having with the Mizukage and the man from Takigakure. After the exams were concluded, they would be at each others throats if they were to find themselves in the wild.

Yuuta were too preoccupied with finding out who the last constants were for the day; so Kazuto would praise the Mizukage’s Young shinobi. The gure wondered if Kazuto had noticed the young Kaguya's expression after the match. Yuuta had saw the fierce look in the boy’s eyes as he full heartedly put his prowess on the line, just to be out skilled by Kazui in the end. He had also heard the gossip that spread throughout Byakuya that involved Kazui and this particular genin. Which lead threw analytical Jounin to surmised that they had exchanged "view points" before the match. As he liked to call, when two shinobi’s convictions clashed.

The puff of visible warm air suddenly ceased to come from his mouth as the final fighters were announced. Gure Rokurou vs Yukigakure genin Kouki. After the names had been announced Yuuta would finally take another breathe not realizing his parental instincts had taken over. The dad of seven couldn't help but to have flashbacks of the mission within Sagyo; and just how close he had come to losing how boy. "ROKUROU!!! SON!! HEAR MY WORDS!!! ALL MEN ARE AFRAID IN BATTLE. THE COWARD IS THE ONE WHO LET HIS FEAR OVERCOME HIS SENSE OF DUTY!! MY SON, DUTY IS THE ESSENCE OF A SHINOBI. NEVER FORGET A LOST BATTLE IS A BATTLE ONE THINKS HE HAS LOST.”

Yuuta’s display had intentionally silenced the entire arena, including the area filled with several Kage level shinobi and other jounin like himself. However, this were Gure Yuuta… he had never been ashamed or embarrassed for his actions and he definitely wouldn't be so when encouraging his own child. Nevertheless, the sight of Roku walking into the Yukigakure arena had shocked the man back to reality; several of these people were his enemies and this exams were nothing but faux civility. After a moment to regain himself, Yuuta who had been hanging over the visitors rail guard to cheer on his bot, walked back over to the group of powerful shinobi. "My apologies… Kazuto… you'd do well to tell Kazui to remember that boy, as I’m sure he'd not soon forget her" he reiterated before and looking back to the arena watching his child fight and losing himself in such moment of realization. Suddenly, he'd speak again… "These exams, what a pitiful act…

Before anyone could question his words and obvious mood change, Yuuta would give them a light hearted expression that dripped with dubious intentions "That is to say… when we bid farewell to this neutral banner… and then all quality, pride, and pomp. We we shall welcome the circumstance of glorious war” he sighed and retreated back to guardrail to continue watching the boy. Yuuta wasn't purposefully begging disrespectful or removing himself from their group conversation. Instead, he had done his best to remind his peers of just why these exams really took place. Irregardless of the younger generation's performance. If anyone of them continued to talk or if he felt the need to speak, he'd gladly oblige.

Basically he’s saying lets not act as if they are allies. While they can remain civil, let them not disrespect the feelings each have of the other or their country. From this point on Yuuta will not dwell on pleasantries, formalities or join the Chunin exam façade.

It's her son? The boy fighting that bowl-cut? Katsune sat up with keen interest, both clans are great fighters, supposedly. But who was the greatest of them all. Katsune crossed his arms as he watched the fight below, and was frankly disappointed when most of the arena was covered in a thick mist. Immediately, the Jōnin turned to his peers, noting their reactions. It was odd to note the silence of the man when congratulated on his student and he let out a taciturn and curt reply that 'she did fine.' Probably noting that Kuni's performance was particularly adequate enough. In Katsune's honest opinion, she did shit. He would need to speak to Etsuko about her training regimen about her students, including why he had to take her genjutsu brat to Iwa and why she just couldn't take the whole team.

The Mizukage spoke of a recommendation, the source was a native of Yukigakure and the Lady's very own assistant. Katsune nodded hi head in agreement of the taciturn individual. In truth, Katsune'd rather just eat inn food and relax in Byakuya's hot springs. Nonetheless, he'd smile as he took the consideration with a grain of salt and recommend in to another Taki shinobi here that CAN EAT. Katsune finally saw the clearing as Kazui was marked the winner after the near sightless, hour long battle. Katsune nodded his head in pleasure of what he saw. Which, honestly wasn't much.

This new match up was lo-behold, another Konoha versus a Yukigakure shinobi. More words between the Mizukage and one of the Jōnin were ignored as they were not for him, but eventually, one of them screamed, rather yelled at the top of his lungs. All Katsune could think was simply why as this man seemed to be cheering on his genin. Katsune just watched the man explode but he just sat in confused silence. Eventually, he turned to apologize to his ally before went onto rant about the exams. After the man seemed down whistle blowing, the Takigakure shinobi decided to speak. "Did you really reiterate why these exams are under a ceasefire? Was this your proclamation of return to battle after these or were you implying a preemptive strike to incite war. Not only do I find the remark vastly uncalled for, but I do need to reiterate this. Please consider your words carefully next time, bud; right now, you and your fellow Konoha shinobi are sitting next to two nations against yours. We're here under a ceasefire treaty, you are right, we are allies but after these, we are back to normal." Katsune spoke as he enunciated the last word with air quotes.

"Please contain your excitement and let's keep politics aside for these final days? Agreed?" Katsune asked, using his tone to preemptively diffuse any disagreement, to just about anyone he seemed too relaxed, really, Katsune didn't want to waste effort if he just came to watch the exams, note what training he may need to emphasize on future genin.

The silent of the two Konoha shinobi spoke, congratulating and while the pleasantries were something she had grown used to by now, it was still somewhat strange to receive it from someone she considered an enemy and would much rather see struck down than nod and smile at him.

Before she could reply or do anything resembling acknowledging the man, his comrade spoke… well, he yelled. Frightfully so. The boy looked rather surprised and for a moment he looked as if he was about to puke as his face gained a slightly green tint. Then, something seemed to settle in him and the match soon started. Yuuta’s demeanor changed and he withdrew. Blue eyes were on him and bone was hardening in her finger tips, ready to launch her own attack if the man decided this was some impromptu threat. Katsune would manage to address the statement and the air grew tense.

Minako chose to remain silent and let the events unfold, her main concern being to protect her daughter and counter anything the tree huggers threw at them - her and Katsune.
