Don’t just weather the storm. Dance in it. ❧ For a moment, nothing much really happened. The girl simply sat there, here eyes resting as she tried to control her breathing as well as her thoughts. In her mind there was nothing there, only herself and the water balloon. The various sounds of nature seemed to fade away, from the chirping of the birds, to the running waters of the river cutting through the training yard, it all seemed to disappear as Kazui shifted her focus to only herself and the task at hand.
Her chakra wasn’t really doing much, despite the fact that she was doing alright earlier, but now her chakra wasn’t even disturbing the water within the balloon, let alone shake the actual balloon itself. The longer she sat there, the more aggravated she became, despite that fact, the girl was still trying her best to keep a cool and collected mindset.
"You are doing great, Kazui. Just keep at it.” The old man would say, but unfortunately the words would fall on deaf ears. The girl wasn’t paying much attention to anything other than finely focusing her chakra into the palm of her hand, hoping that it could cause just enough force to pop the balloon and send water flying everywhere.
