Note: The Kowai bats contract comprise of a family of vampire bats. Ichimonji and Minazuki are the leaders of the family, they have two children; their daughter, Nozarashi, her mate Vajra and they’re children. Then they're son, and Nozarashi’s brother, Tsuketsu, who has a mate named Seion and their children.

NAME: Mure - Swarm ELEMENT: n/a TYPE: Vampire Bat SPECS: Nin RANK: D APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Mure is as its name states, is small swarm of vampire bats. When brought forth by the summoner; Mure appears as a bustling ball of black furred flying rodents. While the swarm itself is comprised of 10 common vampire bats, when summoned they are considered a single entity. Because of this the swarm of bats will always move and react as one summon. Individually, the swarm is comprised of several common vampire bats, each being 3 inches long with a wing span of 7 inches; which is natural for the species. The top part of their body is covered in a thin brown fur while their belly fur is colored a smokey grey. PERSONALITY: Being comprised of a swarm of vampire bats, Mure doesn't have specific personality. They aren't as intelligent as the likes of a singular summon and can only follow simple orders such as attack, defend, feed or escape. Driven by pure instinct, Mure enjoys a good feeding and will feed on anyone the summoner themes is an enemy; regardless of age, rank or gender. It should be noted the swarm favors the blood of Kekkei Genkai users albeit anyone’s blood will do. The swarm can understand human tongue but can't reciprocate it, however it often knows what the summoner is needs due to their connection. ABILITIES: Enhanced Speed: One of the fastest summoning of the contract, being small, nimble and the collection of small vampire bats that make up Mure is able to close distances much faster than a human. When used with speed enhancing jutsu the swarm is able to quickly surround their target and began nipping and biting in order to draw blood. Their speed not only allows them to fly fast but also disperse their collective form quickly to evade attacks and reform with little time wasted. Jutsu: Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique] [x] NAME: Higatana | Flying Sword ELEMENT: N/A. TYPE: Large Slit faced Bat SPECS: Buki RANK: D APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Higana, as she's called by her mother, Nozarashi, is covered in thin lilac colored fur, she is 3 ft tall and weighs 30 lbs. As with other bats of her species she has a slit going down the front of its her face, between the eyes reaching down to her nose. The split is partially covered by her nose-leaf. Higana is bipedal, having a more anthropomorphic appearance, with her wings connected to her wrist, instead of her fingers and hind legs. This effectively makes her wings smaller and not useful for flying however it assists in jumping allowing her to propel herself higher than humans. Additionally, she wears a sleeveless plate armour chest piece held together by straps over her shoulders. Lastly, Higana has two standard katana that he takes with her every time she's summoned. They’re in scabbards that she carries on her back. PERSONALITY: Higana speaks with a soft voice, polite yet prideful. She views her summoner as family and is very protective of them. While she is Prideful, she isn't overly boastful or arrogant. Higana loves children and usually answers the call of genin, to which her protective nature becomes overbearing. As a Bukijutsu specialist, her preferred weapon is a Katana, as such she follows a the Bushido code. Always calm and never becoming paniced, Higana is a useful summon to bring forth as her analytical mind can be life saving. ABILITIES: Enhanced Durability: Higana is one of the more durable bats within the contract. Viewing herself as protector of her summoning, Higana not only trained in the way of the sword but especially in the area of defense; as she needed to decrease the chance of her being injured during battle. Because she can’t fly to evade like others, she increased her durability allowing her to resist damage better than average summons or shinobi of her rank. Chinkonka no iki | 鎮魂歌の息 [Requiem's Breath] . NAME: Sukurīchi | Screech ELEMENT: N/A. TYPE: Common Vampire Bat SPECS: Gen RANK: C APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Screech is Nozarashi’s son and resembles his mother quite a bit. He stands at 3ft tall and weights 20lbs, he is a white winged horseshoe bat, its body is covered in a soft and fluffy fur, being light grey. Unlike the common vampire bats within the contract, who are particularly decent in walking on land. Screech isn't so lucky due to specific bones being shorter in its wings. Despite this, screech is a very capable climber and is usually seen latched to its summoners body versus in flight. While this isn't to say it screech can't fly, he can; however he's developed the habit of roosting on his summoner. Screech uses its nose leaf to focus sonic waves. It is pointed at the tip and is naturally larger due to his overall size. PERSONALITY: Screech is what one would call a sad "floof". He is and always have been a fluffy ball of melancholy. Soft spoken, timid and frightened easily, he tends to hang from his summoner’s body rather than take flight due to being afraid of other humans. Despite his outwardly fear and depressive mood, Screech doesn't mind being summoned as he is less sad and afraid when he's with his summoner. Keeping with his somber persona Screech sound based Genjutsu who’s trigger is reminiscent to that of a deathly scream or a damsel in distress. ABILITIES: Victim Howl – Screech has the ability to modify the specific triggers of genjutsu techniques into that of his own auditory trigger. For example genjutsu that are usually triggered by touch when used by someone else, would instead be triggered by Screech's hellacious scream; which sounds extremely similar to someone, usually a woman or child being slain. Despair Enticement – Screech’s chakra is unique in that it is tainted with his perpetual emotion of melancholy. So much so that when someone falls victim any genjutsu techniques; the chakra used to activate the illusion imparts its deep malaise affect to all those caught in his illusions. This feeling of hopelessness has the same range as the genjutsu used. Beings affected feel an overwhelming sense of melancholy, a feelings of despair and depression into others, making them think there's nothing worth living for in life. As it stands, the induced melancholy can only effect people via Screech’s genjutsu; the main benefit from this SA is that it increases the effectiveness of his genjutsu which are based around gloom, terror, sorrow woe and horror. The melancholia isn't strong enough to completely overwhelm someone instead, they'll be plagued with a feeling of powerful sadness as they fight. Once the genjutsu is canceled, the effects abruptly end. Jutsu: Keizokuteki Enmu no Jutsu [Continuous Fog Technique] Kai [Release] . NAME: Hakki | White Devil ELEMENT: Katon TYPE: SPECS: Hairy Legged Vampire BatTai RANK: C APPEARANCE: image Generally, Hakki is similar to other vampire bats; he differs, however in his complete lack of pigmentation. Hakki has albinism, though the lack of pigmentation doesn't hinder him in battle; save for hiding. Like all hairy legged vampire bats he has wide short ears, large shiny eyes and of course furry legs. Hakki is bipedal standing at 4’ft even, and weights 140 lbs. He's dressed in a sleeveless grey flack jacket similar to those worn by Kirigakure shinobi. Hakki has a metal plate similar to those fasten to shinobi headband, woven into his flack jacket. Its situated directly over his left chest with the kanji for Sunchō no Mura " 寸楮の村”He doesn't wear pants. As with other bipedal summoning bats of the contract, Hakki has human like hands with degraded-wing like appendages connected to its wrist. Additionally, because of the wing degradation associated with the bipeds bats, Hakki cannot fly but uses his wings to assist in jumping or maneuvering by using them to push off the ground or launch themselves in a certain direction. PERSONALITY: Hakki is son of Tsuketsu and Seion and nephew of Nozarashi; he's boastful, immature and prejudice. He doesn’t care for most humans, only tolerating those who sign the contract. Upon being summoned he commonly ask for mundane sacrifices in since he had to show up. While this isn't needed, it would make the interactions with him and his summoner, easier. Hakki is one of the more stubborn bats; being crass and unapologetically disrespectful. In spite of his personal views, Hakki is extremely protective of his homeland, being born after Nozarashi, and later on Tsuketsu settled in a cave near the hidden city. One could say Suncho no mora and those hailing from the highlands were the only humans he actually liked. It should be noted that every summoner that signs the contract is "adopted" by Nozarashi or Tsuketsu. Which means Hakki would see the human summoner as a cousin or sibling depending on which main summon they signed the contract with. Lastly, while in battle Hakki will always criticize enemy, ally and summoner if they are a human shinobi. Regardless of rank and skill. ABILITIES: Hakki the Alabaster – "Hakki” means Alabaster Devil; his named was coined because of his albinism and his plague ridden claws. The wounds inflicted from his sharpened nails fester, causing the enemy to experience heightened pain from the wound. The infection itself isn't fatal and only causes the wound to produce puss and induce exceedingly more pain than a normal wound. Superficial wounds such as a scrape would be as painful shallow wounds; and so on and so forth. The bacteria that causes the infection isn't particularly resilient. The affected person’s immune system will kill the pathogen within a few hours, subsiding the heightened pain. Highlander strength – As a native of Mizu no Kuni's mountainous region; Hakki has gained an increased degree of strength. The added training in Taijutsu refined his strength in order for him to use it, offensively by increasing the force of his physical attacks and defensively by increasing his arm strength; thus endowing his degraded wings with stronger propulsion when he's evading. Jutsu: Mōkazetsume [Fierce Wind Talon] Chameitsume [Playful Talon] NAME: Tonbo | Dragonfly ELEMENT: Katon. TYPE: Great False Vampire Bat SPECS: (Nin) RANK: (C) APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Another of Nozarashi’s younger children; Tonbo is a great false vampire bat who resembles his father Vajra more than his mother Nozarashi. He’s similar in size with his brother Screech; standing at 3'2" ft tall and weights 23lbs. Tonbo is bipedal like his cousin Hakki, and as such cannot fly due to degradation of his wings. However, he is capable of walking and running similarly to humans. The clothes he wears is a simple hooded cloak, colored burgundy; with a Kanji for "Flame" written in white on its back. PERSONALITY: A stark contrast when compared to Screech; Tonbo is a furry creature of perpetual energy. One of the more nicer Bats within the contract along with Higana; Tonbo is usually ready to help out its summoner regardless who as called it forth. In battle the bat is constantly talking and asking questions, which gives an inside look at his inquisitive mind. He generally loves human society and can be seen inside the Kirigakure more than others; even without being summoned. He considers himself a Kirigakure shinobi instead of for example; Hakki who claims Suncho no Mura. It should be noted that Tonbo isn't very smart when it comes to academics and common sense. He’d quickly try to feed upon a random animal before checking if the creature is dangerous or has an owner. ABILITIES: Liquid Flames!? – Tonbo can produce a flammable liquid, similar in appearance, and viscosity to Asphalt; its produce naturally within his stomach. The flames created from igniting the liquid is resistant to water; what this means is that the best way to put out his flames is by smothering it with dirt or depriving it with oxygen in some other form. It should be noted that his fire isn't inherently hotter but burns slower due to the thickness of the liquid, thus keeping his flame lit for longer periods. Because the flames are resistant and not immune to water, a significantly larger amount can be used to douse the flames. Albeit, this runs the risk of causing the liquid to splash and igniting other areas and objects. Note: Beside being highly flammable, the substance is otherwise harmless. Lastly, Tonbo can use Katon jutsu that require a certain substance such as oil or other flammable liquids by supplementing it with his own. Enhanced Chakra Supply – Tonbo has an impressive amount of chakra; so much so that he can use his fire jutsu multiple times without needing to immediately rest. Additionally, depending on how much chakra is used Tonbo can remain summoned for longer periods than average summons of his rank; taking into account he's not seriously injured. NAME: Katon: Hibana [Fire Release: Spark] Katon: Yamayake | Brush Fire NAME: Fūkei ELEMENT: N/A. TYPE: Townsend Big Eared bat. SPECS: Fuin RANK: (C) APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Fukeimori is one of the two smallest bats within the family; the other being her older sister, Kokutanha who is a Kitti's hog-nosed bat, while Fukei is Townsend Big Eared bat. Nevertheless, Fukei is able to roost within her summoner’s hair or clothes due to her size. She has large ears and is about 8 cm(3in) in length with a wingspan of 17cn(6 inches). Fukeimori doesn't wear clothes and is covered in dark purple fur. PERSONALITY: Despite her size Fukeimori is highly pragmatic, arrogant and loud. Although she isn't as overbearing as Tonbo, Fukei is fairly social being one to always have an opinion on a given subject. A sufferer of napoleon complex, Fukei commonly displays an overly-aggressive and officious personality. She casually lies about such things as being the strongest out of the younger generation of Kowai Bats, and has a tendency to comprehend others' actions as having malicious intent, even when the actions are ambiguous or amiable. The latter of which makes her fairly difficult to get along with; it should be noted that these traits seem to recede from view when she's interacting with her summoner as she views them as a sort of person to aspire to emulate or become like; regardless of rank. ABILITIES: Sealing Bite – Despite her size, Fukei is an avid user of Fuinjutsu; because she Isn't as physically imposing as other summons Fukei developed the ability to place Fuinjutsu via her fangs. By focusing chakra within her fangs and biting the target she's able to transfer the chakra into the target which would then become the corresponding seal. Her use in fuinjutsu and her ability to fly into close range is supplemented by his enhanced evasion; which is attributed to her size and species. Enhanced Evasion: Small, nimble and naturally quick; Fukei a high degree of evasion. Her miniature stature combined with bats' great maneuverability during flight; an ability that's better than other flying fauna, allows Fukei to evade some of the most prominent attacks. Even in close range it's difficult to land an attack on her; with her evasion skills she is able to change directions, move side to side or even drop unexpectedly in order to keep from having her small body crushed or destroyed altogether. Lastly, her fuinjutsu accuracy fairly high as she can evade standard thrown weapons and certain jutsu that's not been enhanced with jutsu, in order to fly in close, bite the target, thus applying her seal and then return to her summoner. Still, even with her evasion; there are some enemies that could still land a decisive blow. The term, Take one, to give one, couldn't ring more true when it comes to Fukeimori. Senkin [Great Weight] Toi Mi Fuuin [Distant Unsealing] NAME: Habatsu | Cliques ELEMENT: N/A TYPE: White Winged vampire bat SPECS: Nin RANK: B APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Habatsu is an upgraded version of the Mure summon. Like Mure, it is a amalgamation of vampire bats condensed into a swarm. However, where Habatsu differs is in the increased size of the horde and that it comprises of 35 individual bats.  The 35 individuals alone are able to give a painful bite but collectively they can be quite dangerous. This particular clique or swarm is a mixture of "common”, "hairy legged” and "white winged” vampire bats. Collectively, the bats that make up Habatsu aren't necessarily fatal but can end a battle should a shinobi fall victim to the entirety of the swarm. The collective swarm itself is on par with other summons of its rank, being capable of dealing actual wounds. PERSONALITY: Habatsu’s personality reflects that of Nozarashi; in that the swarm is completely vampiric. The urge to feed on blood is quite strong; though not to the point of attacking indiscriminately. The collective is pretty vocal, speaking its minds even if they weren’t asked. As one of the youngest bats within the contract, Habatsu is highly combative and even more aggressive. Despite, being a collective swarm of various vampire bats; Habatsu is uniquely independent as any other summoning. This is evident in the way it refers to itself as "us" "we" or ours. Another way this collective shows its ironic individuality as a Swarm of bats is its voice. As Habatsu's voice is also, collectively the voices of each individual bat speaking as one. Overall, Habatsu doesn't care to much for other humans besides they're summoners. ABILITIES: Enhanced Speed – Habatsu is the upgraded swarm of the Mure; which is significantly stronger than the lower ranked swarm. The swarm is deceptively fast due being individual small, nimble vampire bats. With its speed Habatsu; is able to close distances much faster than a human. When used with speed enhancing jutsu the swarm is able to quickly surround their target and began nipping and biting in order to draw blood. Their speed not only allows them to fly fast but also disperse their collective form quickly to evade attacks and reform with little time wasted. Enhanced Bite: A bite from one bat of Hobatsu collective form is strong enough to cause a gnash in flesh and rip clothes to shreds. However, it can't bite through bone, wood or higher. As the swarm "Habatsu", these painful wounds come wide spread causing extreme pain or bleeding wounds; which aren't particularly fatal but can become fatal in time due to blood loss. Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique Gyaku Kuchiyose no Jutsu [Reverse Summoning Technique] Kirigakure no Jutsu - [Hidden Mist Technique] NAME: Kokutaha | Ebony Blade ELEMENT: Earth. TYPE: Kitti's hog-nosed bat SPECS: nin RANK: (B) APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Koku is the smallest of the two smallest bats within the family; the other being her younger sister, Fukei. Koku seems to fly perpetually, rarely roosting on anything, even her summoner. She is about 2” in length with a wingspan of 3” inches. Koku doesn't wear clothes and is covered in light purple fur. PERSONALITY: Despite her size Koku is an idealist, highly boastful, arrogant and loud. If she weren’t so loud she could be a valuable assassin; however her personality makes her unsuited for such jobs. She is as overbearing as Tonbo and like her sister is considered a social butterfly. A warrior by heart Koku isn’t overtly aggressive, she doesn’t pick fights but isn't one to shy away from one either. She can be a warmonger in that she'd rather settle a dispute by engagement instead of diplomacy but isn't forceful. Koku views her summoner as a soldier underneath her command and take an authoritarian pattern of speech and behavior when communicating; regardless of rank. ABILITIES: Enhanced Durability – Koku’s size is pretty deceptive when it comes to just how tough she really is. Koku’s durability is the basis of her fighting style. A literal bullet; the small bat has gained such a degree of damage resistance that with jutsu she can punch a whole through flesh. Which makes her as physically imposing as other summons of her rank. Enhanced chakra control: Kokutanha has increased her chakra control to be able to circulate chakra throughout her body without wasting time or available chakra. This allows her to use jutsu that flow elemental chakra through her body in order to increase her offense ability. Combined with her durability koku becomes A living projectile. Shunshin no Jutsu [Body Flicker Technique] Doton: Iwadeppō no Jutsu [Earth Release:Stone Pistol Doton: Yoroi [Earth Release: Armor] NAME: Okubyōna ELEMENT: Wind TYPE: Specter Bat SPECS: Tai RANK: (B) APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Okubyōna, is Nozarashi’s eldest daughter and one of Tsugetsu’s nieces. Her fur is a mixture of black and white giving her an older appearance. She is a specter bat otherwise known as a great false vampire bat and is one of the many bipedal bats of the contract. Like the others; Okubyōna is incapable of actual flight due to the degradation of her wings. The wings are fused to her wrist instead of fingers like her non-bipedal counterparts, which enables her to use her smaller wings for jumping higher. She is stands 5ft even and weights 120lbs; most of weight being muscle gained from her Taijutsu training. She doesn't wear any clothes but does done a headband around her thigh with the Kirigakure symbol etched on it. PERSONALITY: Okubyōna is quite stoic in personality, she doesn’t talk much and when she does it's usually in a matter of fact manner. She views her summon as her cousin or sibling depending on who the person signed the contract with. She is an introvert by nature and would rather get the fight over with and return home, than sticking around for extended periods of time. She holds justice at a high standard and is unforgiving to those who have broken the law; in fact she would immediately punish the person given the chance. ABILITIES: Enhanced Speed – Due to being a sole Taijutsu Specialist, dedicating her life to the art, Okubyōna has earned a great deal of speed. From her punches and kicks to her actual running speed, all of it is enhanced above average summoning of her rank. She is able to keep up with those of the contract that can fly, with ease. Enhanced Strength: On par with her speed is her physical strength, which is enough to carry two adult men in each arm and not have her speed hindered due to the increase weight. Her striking force is also enhanced above normal; with her being able to contend with even shinobi of jounin level. Haritsume [Straining Talon]l Chotsume [Carving Talon] Yuritsume [Tremor Talon] NAME: Ryūketsu ELEMENT: Futon -Raiton. TYPE: White winged Vampire Bat SPECS: Nin/Tai RANK: (B) APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) A stark contrast when compared to his younger brother, Hakki. Ryūketsu has dark red, or burgundy fur throughout his body save for a white outline along the edge of his degraded wings. He is Bipedal and stands 5’” tall and weights 146 lbs. He wears a plate armor chest piece that's held together by shoulder straps, the armor is colored jet black, and stained with dried blood. There are several scars that litters his body and holes dot his degraded wings. PERSONALITY: Ryūketsu is one of the most bloodthirsty summons within the contract; he's more about inflicting pain and getting his fill of blood rather than completing whatever tasked he was summoned for. A difficult summon to handle, Ryūketsu only listens to those that can beat him in a fight. Otherwise he'd literally disobey or if worse came to worst, drink the blood of his own summoner. Despite this he isn't evil, nor is he good, Ryūketsu acts on instinct and in the wilderness its strength that determines if one is the predator or the prey. He's more incline to be less aggressive with those who’ve signed the contract with his father, Tsuketsu; which would make the summoner his sibling. While being more competitive with his cousins, though he'd still try their skills and even take a sip of blood but wouldn’t blatantly drain them dry. ABILITIES: Enhanced Strength: Ryūketsu’s physical strength is enhanced to a high level. Gained from fighting various battles and through the use of his specific fighting style, Ryūketsu is fairly strong, being able to carry two adult men in each arm or knock opponents flying several meters. His striking force is also enhanced above normal; with him being able to contend with even shinobi of jounin level. Ripper of Kirigakure – "Ryūketsu” means bloodshed; his named was coined because of his plague ridden claws. The wounds inflicted from his sharpened nails bleed more than normal, due to an anticoagulant secretion naturally produced by Ryu. The secretion itself can be battle ending or become fatal given enough wounds inflicted; due to bloodloss. Superficial wounds such as scrapes would bleed like that of shallow wounds; and  shalow wounds would bleed as if they're deep gnashes, so on and so forth. The affected person’s immune system will kill and metabolize the secretions in 4 post should they not receive more injuries. Can be negated by medical ninjutsu. Haritsume [Straining Talon]l Chotsume [Carving Talon] Yuritsume [Tremor Talon] NAME: Gorosei ELEMENT: Suiton - Doton TYPE: Common Vampire Bat SPECS: NinTai RANK: (B) APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Gorosei is one of the many bipeds of the Komori Family;  as such he can not fly. His size is slightly larger than an adult human male; being 8 ft  tall and weighting 234 lbs and is covered in a reddish brown fur. He wears no clothing but has the Kirigakure symbol branded on his chest. There's a scar across his eye he received during a battle with Nozarashi. An attempt to gain her place as one of the contract scroll holders, those who are able to make a binding contract with a human. PERSONALITY: Gorosei is highly stubborn, ambitious, ambiguous and deceitful. He claims to have the entire family’s interest at heart but in truth he only cares for himself. His motives aren't to be trusted and he should only be summoned in battle with an enemy that would force him to work with the one who’d summon him. His past fight with Nozarashi, his mother, has cracked his pride and he hasn't been able to live down the defeat. Despite his healing pride Gorosei is still a capable warrior and seeks a summoner who shares his same ideals and deceitful ambitions. ABILITIES: Enhanced Strength: While not as fast as Okubyōna, Gorosei still has an impressive amount of physical speed; so much so that he can fly faster thab an adult human  and contend with even shinobi as long as he's flying. Gorosei trained his speed in order to utilize the his sound based Taijutsu as fast as possible. Sound Jutsu: Gorosei has weaponized his echolocation in order to use sound based ninjutsu. In nature a bats’ nose-leaf is for modifying and directing the echolocation call. By channeling chakra into soundwaves directed by its noseleaf Gorosei can increase the potency of the sound waves he produces. His skill with this ability is such that any sound his body creates can be amplified via chakra directed using its nose leaf. Allowing him to use sound based ninjutsu that requires certain tools to utilize. With this ability Gorosei can emit deafening blast of sounds to throw shinobi off balance or concussive blast that could damage the body in various ways; even enhancing sounds created from his punches albeit via jutsu. Saundonaifu [Sound Knife] Kyōmeisen [Resonating Echo Drill] 1000-Nen Futto matsubadzue [1000 Foot Crutch] [Enhanced Speed Required] NAME: Nozarashi   ELEMENT: N/A. TYPE: Townsend Big Eared bat. SPECS: Nin RANK: (A) APPEARANCE: (include an image and short description) Nozarashi is one of the largest and most powerful of the Kowai Bats. Although she isn't bipedal. Nozarashi's natural physiology enables her to gait on all fours or even stand straight up from her naturally hunched over position. One of the strongest summons among the contract, Nozarashi has numerous scars littering her body, stamping her purple coat of thin hairs with black jagged markings. When standing straight up, he head reaches an impressive 20 ft, while weighing over a ton. She has large ears and thin dark purple fur. She doesn't wear clothes but she does wear jewelry. Several earrings to be exact PERSONALITY: Despite her size Fukeimori is highly pragmatic, arrogant and loud. Her miniature stature combined with bats' great maneuverability during flight; an ability that's better than other flying fauna, allows Fukei to evade some of the most prominent attacks.
