Hinata stayed on the roof until he heard the commotion inside, kind of. He heard the punch and crash from the man falling. Confused, the Yuki jumped off the roof and swung inside the back door. Only to find, Endo dashing off and Hakurei - if giving pursuit - stopping in his tracks. Odd choice. At a moment's notice, the boy would slip out the back door and begin to pursue where Endo had gone. If he had gone to the front of the restaurant, and out the front, there was a good chance that he would catch Endo making his escape out front, to which Hinata would give pursuit.

Hinata would run after Endo, hoping to catch up with him. Though it seemed that he wouldn't be alone in his pursuit as Asa would join him in it. He was determined to get the man running away, regardless of who caught him, as between the two of them hopefully, one of them would. Run after the man as quickly as possible, building his stamina. He was hoping that this would allow him to build some of his chakra reserves as well, or build on top of what he had thus far built. Simply by pushing his limits.

He almost had the GOKA too, if it hadn’t been for the sudden disorienting appearance of a crowd between them. Had the restaurant been bustling like this before? He wondered to himself… No. This didn’t seem right. The jounin took a step back as a couple of waiters came rushing out of the kitchen balancing trays and from the other side of the hallway a laughing group of women came streaming out of the bathroom. [break][break] Hakurei jumped up on his tiptoes and tried to peer over the trays but he’d lost sight of the target. "That cockroach!” Hakurei cursed almost to himself but also to Reiji, "He’s getting away.” He tried to squeeze past the people in front of him but the commotion must have caused someone to stop because the hallway was blocked too tightly to get through without hurting anyone. [break][break] It didn’t seem like he could follow the Endo impersonator so he started to backed up into the door behind him. It might be quicker to go around with Hinata.[break][break] The Hakureiji clone stood with his arms crossed in front of the door to the meeting room looking about as intimidating as a clone has ever dared. He had watched the original run off towards the kitchen and a moment later Endo, or someone that looked like him, came running out. He figured the GOKA must have given his pursuers the slip but he couldn’t tell if the operative was still trying to complete their mission or just flee. Either way, they needed to be stopped. [break][break] The clone made a single hand sign and tapped the ground before ice would come surging up from the ground beneath the GOKA. The clone was attempting to freeze their target in place but he wouldn't pursue if the GOKA evaded his jutsu and headed for the front exit. The clone's superior had told him to guard this door and that was what he planned to do.[break][break] SPOILER: Click to show NAME: Hyōton: Juhaku [Ice Release: White Tree][break] RANK: C[break] HANDSEALS: 1[break] [break] DESCRIPTION: After weaving the hand sign the user touches the soil/floor in the direction of the intended target as particles of ice began to emerge in the air. Should the technique strike the opponent, ice will begin to cover them, surging from the ground/ soil and creeping slowly over their bodies, rendering them immobile and susceptible for another strike. While useful the technique is better used as a surprise attack. Additionally the technique works better on an environment with abundant moisture in the air.

Reiji Nue

Reiji, ever focused on Hakurei's body and the persons in his near vicinity, was making sure to notify his host if something weird caught his attention. Outside that, he didn't have much to do but look through his friend's eyes. He wouldn't have to act much until some action happened either. Though it looked like something was going to happen real fast. First Hakurei using his increased brawn to punch a dude, which probably hurt like hell, and then the dude uttered a weird phrase and took off. The old Yuki tried to pursue the guy, but other people blocked them.

"That is so weird, I thought maybe...push through the people. I will try something." Reiji mumbled inside the Yuki's head once more. The stuff the guy told them was something not threatening at first glance, but if they were indeed the target, they could have tried to hit them with Genjutsu or other stuff. If he was wrong, he'd be wasting chakra, but even then...better safe than sorry.

"Haku, I need your arms." Reiji would call from within. "We should begin making sure that guy doesn't do funny stuff to us while we pursuit. What he said to us doesn't make sense. We should Kai the moment we see, hear or feel anything funny...just to be safe."

An advanced version of Parasitic Connection, this technique is more or less the same as the lesser version with a single glaring difference. Specifically the speed at which the Nue clan member is capable of merging into and out of a host body. While the Parasitic Connection technique might take as much as five minutes to fully merge, the Cellular Permeation is capable of merging the Nue with a host fully within seconds. Due to this key difference it makes the Nue able to merge even in the middle of a battle and opens up the use of some Nue techniques and abilities to be used offensively against their opponents.

Asa Yuki Hakurei Yuki Hinata Reiji Nue

Hinata decided to wrap around the building to attempt to intercept Endo at the front, hoping to catch him in this pursuit and attempt is escape or further work towards assassinating his target. As he made it to the front of the restaurant, he watched as Asa also moved to intercept.

Endo crossed into the main room of the restaurant. Hakurei's clone caught him with his gaze and formed a hand seal, sending out a pulse of ice which bloomed into a brilliant, icy tree which began to grow around Endo's legs. This would leave him rooted in place and make it easier for either Asa or Hinata to engage in an attempted capture. Now would be a great time for either of them to show off what they could do. But Asa also knew to be cautious. A cornered GOKA could be dangerous.

He pulled his arm free to reach inside his chef's coat and revealed a handful of kunai. He threw them the way of the two shinobi and the clone. Luckily this was a practice round and he wouldn't aim for any dangerous locations, but a trick about them would quickly be noted- there was ninja wire tied to these. If they didn't dodge carefully, they would be wrapped up in the wire and slightly inhibited in their movements.

Outside, Hakurei was still attempting to make his way inside. But the door suddenly became crowded with customers as well, and people trying to fix a sign outside... While he was thinking of how strange this way, Reiji noted that it seemed far too bizarre to be real and recommended attempting to kai. If Hakurei did as Reiji recommended, he would find the blockages disappearing, and be able to come inside and join the scene.

DESCRIPTION:
The user throws kunai or shuriken with strings attached to them at the opponent. Once the nemy is hit, chakra is run through the string to paralyze the opponent which will serve to either incapacitate them or allow the user to follow up with another attack. It must be mentioned that the weapons must either be embedded into the enemy or at least wrapped around their limb so that it maintains its hold.

It was a bad time to schedule a construction project. The diplomat’s security detail really should have been notified of this in advance. Hakurei furrowed his brow. Kai? You think he might be a genjutsu user? That kind of lined up with the Jounin’s preconceived notions of GOKA members; They were a slippery sort. He raised his hands to make the seal. It’d been a while since he’d had to use the kai technique so it took him a little longer than he would have liked. [break][break] The crowd vanished and Hakurei found his path suddenly unimpeded. He turned to go back through the back door but he’d let it close behind him and he remembered they were keeping it locked. Well… This was pretty embarrassing. Hakurei leapt up onto the roof and sprinted straight across towards the front door before dropping down and peeking inside. [break][break] The clone remained at the door to the meeting room. He did his best to dodge any projectiles thrown his way but he wasn’t going to leave his post to engage the GOKA and all of his ranged attacks would have resulted in major damage to the restaurant. Not to mention he needed to keep enough chakra to sustain his own existence.

[Asa]

Asa appeared in the scene, the white eye of the tundra flaring in the right side of her face. It was odd, being able to see the whole scene before she arrived. It was a set of information she wasn't used to achieving so easily. Still, the drain of eye was definitely apparent. She wouldn't be able to use any of her more intensive techniques without potentially endangering herself. However, given the circumstances, she felt that she wouldn't need to. 

Yuki Hakurei's use of ice magic certainly helped keep the would be assassin in place, which was always a good maneuver. A trapped target is easier to kill. Asa was only really good at one thing, and that was hunting. Once more, though, she was tasked with not killing.

Using her natural speed to her advantage, she positioned herself in front of Yuki Hinata, focusing on keeping him safe from harm. She spun one scythe easily in one hand, pouring just enough chakra into Mizuchi to made it more resistant to blows, and to encourage it to spin faster than her hand would normally allow, in order to deflect the kunai coming their way. 

All of her training with the Pink Ghost was coming in handy, it seemed.

Reiji Nue

Reij would quiet down and let Hakurei do his fighting business. He would need to keep himself focused considering he was going to fight aginst someone who might be even more well versed in combat than he was. Good thing he was there with him and could take care of the other things that might be a problem.

"Let me handle Kai from now on. You focus on beating the guy up!" Reiji quickly shouted the moment they had respite. Things were heating up now that everything wasn't a spy game anymore. The nue had to wonder how the other were doing. This guy did just use genjutsu on them, as he suspected. Perhaps they were victims of the enemy's illusions too? He hoped that wouldn't be the case. He really didn't want to end up into one of those scenarios of friend fighting enthralled friend. He could heal them, sure...but he didn't like hurting his mates. At all.

Asa Yuki Hakurei Yuki Hinata Reiji Nue

Asa stood before Hinata and spun her scythe, deflecting the thrown weapons off and sending them sailing into the ceiling instead, embedding there. Those were some damages that would have to be repaired for the owner, but he was the one who had agreed to allow his shop to be used as a mock battlefield. He knew what he was doing.

Using this defense, Asa was able to prevent both herself and Hinata from coming into any harm or being restrained. The icy tree that Hakurei's clone had created continued to crawl up the legs of Endo. This was meant to be a relatively simple practice working on investigative skills, so his efforts to free himself were less serious than they might have otherwise been. Still, it seemed they had him effectively cornered.

He was trapped, restrained, and there were a multitude of shinobi surrounding him. Nowhere for him to go and a high likelihood of capture. Asa knew the extent a GOKA would go to to ensure avoiding capture, but that was unlikely to be the case here. Perhaps a more intensive version of this training would be available at a later date that would up the danger factor.

Hakurei was able to make it in the front door, joining the rest of the group.

Capture was certain now. It was just a matter of how the group went about doing it, and who managed to get in first. How would they apprehend the criminal?

[Asa]

Asa wouldn't hesitate. She wasn't a defender by nature, but seeing Yuki Hinata be put in such danger set off something in her, and she had operated off of instinct. As she had previously reasoned, training with Raimaa Futago, the Pink Ghost, truly had made deflecting projectiles something of a rote action to her. They were both safe. 

She walked forward to the GOKA, who was now restrained. 

"The hunt is over," she said, and pointed her scythe at them. They both would know that she would actually strike them, for that was not the nature of the game. 

If this was an actual mission, this spy would have been dead minutes ago. Asa would have butchered them from afar, or would have dived off of the roof to pounce on them with her scythes of ice and frostbite. Her own status as one of the GOKA was something of a secret, as they all were. However, there was a chance her target would recognize her voice. There would be a mutual understanding from either side of the frozen wall, due to the circumstances. 

"Drop the act and reveal yourself," Asa ordered, her scythe clearly in striking distance. If the GOKA was going to play along with this drama, they'd likely react as if they were under threat of bodily harm.

The demon eye was still flaring in her skull. They could not run anywhere she could not follow.

Hinata admittedly came to a slippery stop, when weapons and wires were thrown. Asa was there to help though to deflect, and now their target was captured and ensnared. He was breathing pretty hard after that chase, and he leaned over a little bit standing behind Asa for a moment to try and regain some of his composure as he would step out from behind the female to look at Endo. He felt a bit disappointed in himself, he had the man directly in front of himself earlier, he could have jumped him easily, but now he stood there awkwardly as a second or even fourth piece of the puzzle.

His keepers wouldn't be too happy with this progress, slightly fidgety he would look down at Endo as Asa spoke to him. He didn't speak, just wavered a touch nervously as he waited for some kind of result to come from this. Asa would be the one who likely got the winning play out of this... He really was beating himself up about it, genuinely. Perhaps he shouldn't be, in fact, he was certain Shuka would have been plenty content with his progress but he didn't feel it was genuinely enough..

The operative’s legs were restrained but their arms still posed a danger, if they weren’t ready to give up from the cold. He didn’t often boast but he was confident enough in his abilities to say he was a pretty fast guy. [break][break] In a burst of speed, he took an indirect path, careful not to hit any wires, as he approached his target using the rabbit walk technique before doing a body flicker of his own to appear behind the man and grabbing both his wrists. He wanted to prevent the operative from using a jutsu to escape, if he could. Hakurei’s reflexes and the increased strength Reiji provided would hopefully make it a simple task. [break][break] "I’d listen to the lady, if I were you.” Hakurei growled softly, adding to Asa’s already intimidating threat. He winked at Hinata who’d fulfilled his role expertly. The team’s victory was a sure thing in Hakurei’s opinion.

Asa Yuki Hakurei Yuki Hinata Reiji Nue

Asa at the front and Hakurei at the back, with the added bonus of Hinata joining in on everything, even if he felt he hadn't contributed as much as he would like. They had the operative surrounded.

Endo dropped his disguise and revealed himself as Kabuto. She was wearing the mask that she always wore about the village, bright yellow and with a black visor, hiding any trace of her face or hair. She did not attempt to battle against Hakurei's restraint, but instead seemed to calmly accept her defeat.

The instructor who had lead the group entered the scene at this point and said,

"Good job, all of you. Working together, you managed to capture the operative before any harm could come to our visitor. And you did minimal damage to the restaurant to boot. Of course, this is just a beginner's training. I hope you will tell your fellow shinobi about this practice to encourage them to join in, and I hope to see you again if we ever decide to host a training of slightly higher stakes."

He encouraged the release of Kabuto and, once everyone had had a moment to wind down and debrief, would offer to pay for the collective meals of the class participants if they wished to stay and eat at the restaurant.
