Toru wouldn't rest, the suiton came and it would attack Kiho, enough to push her back despite her defenses... That wasn't quite enough though, as Toru would perform a quick hand seal chakra surging through his body to cause him to flicker to just behind Kiho's position after she had taken the brunt of the Suiton, though just for a split second whilst her defenses were still up so that she did not immediately see Toru disappearing and re-appearing.

Now that he was behind her?

Well, he did the only logical thing, and that was to throw a red chakra-shroud arm at the girl before she could get the chance to figure out what hit her. To be honest, she probably had already seen he was gone, but perhaps she couldn't react? He wasn't sure, he was still fully gauging her speed and abilities, but he hoped that the arm flying in would land and give her a solid punch into her torso to send her flying back. Mostly as payback for having kicked him into the air and then pummeling him down into the ground to create that crater. It had hurt quite a bit, after all, so he hoped that this would be good payback.

Vengeful, no?

Kame didn't seem to hesitate to move on from his previous attack while Kiho was in the midst of retracting all the chakra arms she used earlier. When it was clear for her to see what was going on ahead now that all of her extra arms were at the way there was no Kame to be found. Her first instinct was to see if he had managed to somehow get behind her, but once she did a chakra arm was already in the midst of coming after her.

After turning around the arm would land a hit on her right in the chest area sending her flying back ward a few feet. In order to prevent herself from losing her composure she'd turn her Chakra shrouds tail into a Chakra arm to punch the ground behind her to keep her from flying backward any longer than she wanted to. The hit was definitely a powerful one, but again her defensive prowess was nothing to play with either, but that wouldn't mean her chest wouldn't be affected later.

Hmmm, he's not doing so bad.. I almost wish we could show them more of what we have to offer.

Same, but I don't know if that would be smart from a political standpoint.

Kiho thought about taking things up a notch, but after really thinking about it most of her jutsu were skills that made it easier for her to take out her targets. This was supposed to be nothing more than a spar between two, friends? Well, she didn't know if she could quite consider him that, but they had a positive relationship of some kind. Nevertheless, she decided that she would keep things simple and would instead try to make their session more close and personal.

Running on all fours Kiho quickly aimed to shorten the gap between the two of them. If given the opportunity she would lunge forward toward the Kiri Shinobi and would attempt to throw two quick, but heavy jabs toward the boys upper chest area. She was certain he'd be able to counter it easy even with her added boost in combat prowess, but that wouldn't be apart of the plan.

• Chakra Shroud [ 1 Tail ]
   Version 1 - This chakra shroud isn't too different from the previous one. Here, Kiho now gains some of the features resembling the Nanabi. A tail sprouts the small of her back as the chakra coat thickens. It takes on the shape of the Nanabi's horn with a simple cone on Kiho's head as part of the chakra cloak. Her speed and strength are boosted and she is more likely to run on fours Just like the previous state. The most beneficial trait from no tails to one tail is the fact she can now attack from ranges with extendable chakra arms. Like the previous shroud, Kiho is able to enter this one at will as well with complete control.

JUTSU

  CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu
  ELEMENT: N/A
  DESCRIPTION: When a Tailed Beast or Jinchuuriki taps reaches into their Version 1 Chakra Cloak, they are capable of using the bubbling chakra which surrounds them as an extension of their body. These chakra appendages can be freely manipulated for almost an infinite distance as a result of its lack of joints. Additionally, they can surge at opponents at speeds that even the most highly trained of shinobi would have trouble reacting to. These appendages can grow in size and form, but only those who have control of at least half of their form (starting at Version 2 Chakra Cloak) can create any number of chakra arms they desire from any part of their body. Just like the original chakra arms, these extra arms can be used as grappling hooks, for grabbing opponents/objects, defense, or offensively. Unlike the original arms, these chakra arms are much thicker, and darker as a result of Version 2's advanced nature. For those who have minimal control, all chakra arms will always cause burns to those who contact them. (can be made cool for those with good amount of control). In the case of the Ichibi Jinchuuriki, these chakra arms will be in the form of sand.

For some reason it had not struck Toru - though he had done it himself before - that running on all fours was an option. And so when Kiho ran at him so aggressively upon her hands and knees he couldn't help but think it look silly as opposed to menacing. Perhaps to another it might have looked menacing but to Toru who had a beast of similar nature sealed in him, well, it was just silly. A part of him wondered if he should lower down to the ground too, but he didn't, instead he watched the girl close the distance and he himself would lower his stance.

Whilst he was no taijutsu master, he knew how to move his body very proficiently or else he would have been a poor kenjutsu specialist. After all, being able to swing a sword in some regard required knowing a great deal about ones own body, and how to move it just right to get the desired effect.

Kiho's two jabs would land once, but as the second hand came to collide Toru would aim to slap at her wrist firmly with the sturdiest part of his palm, hoping that the speed of her jab with his counter would knock her balance downwards to give him the smallest opening in popping her in the face with an upward knee movement.

Kame so far had been a pretty tough cookie to crack, and in a fight where there was still limitations there was only so much she'd could do. Especially when you had to account for how tough his skin was. Nevertheless, the fighting continued and her first of the two jabs had landed. She didn't think she'd get luck enough to land even one, but maybe there was a slight enough disparity in their Taijutsu skill for her to land a strike.

The next one however, did not land. He aimed to counter her jab with a parry, but fortunately she was looking for him to make that play. After Kame parried Kiho he aimed to try kneeing her in the face. Before he'd get the chance for that to even happened she'd already release another arm from her Jinchuuiki cloak to not only stop his attack to her face, but to push him down as well so that she could attempt another assault on him.

The force from Kame's body trying to make contact with her own would give her enough momentum to not lose balance as she would have done should Kiho not have premeditated the use of her Additional arms. Once that took place Kiho immediately would follow up on her by lunging forward on one leg to send a side kick toward Kame's mid section and rib cage area. She knew there wasn't much damage she could do, but assuming he was no better than her it had to hurt a little right?

Take it easy Kiho, you are expending too much chakra..

Pfft! You'll be sorry when I'm force to have you level up by entering the next stage. Your usage chakra rate is getting too sporadic, so relax or you'll end up unintentionally losing control.

Toru was more than capable of these types of close-quarter spars, after all he would have been quite poor at kenjutsu if that were not the case. But he still did not always anticipate the type of movements ones body could or would make. React to it? Sure, he had plenty of reaction ability but to react one had to be able to almost generally predict movement, ever so slightly. Taijutsu could be quite hard to predict when done correctly, and so without his sword drawn he was a bit stuck. Fortunately he could barely take damage in this situation with his shroud... He could only imagine how much more sturdy he would grow the more he and Isobu would become close.

His kneeing movement had been stopped, and Kiho would lunge at him, delivering a successful spinning kick to Toru, who would bring his arms up in a defensive manner towards his side in a flash. The momentum was powerful enough though, that when the girl's kick collide he was sent quite aggressively sideways. Toru would have to re-adjust himself in the air, though he hit the ground several times and popped up like a skipping stone. The tail would turn into an arm to grab hold of the earth, cratering and creating large finger drags down a straight strip.

Now he was totally dirty from that, and he grumbled as he moved to stand, his lips parted slightly panting. This was quite the spar they were having, it was truly pushing Toru to understand what he was capable of even if he was holding back a bit to not cause real damage to the girl.

Before he could give her a chance to stare at him too long he would run at her at impressive speeds, amost fully disappearing, his intention was to simply body slam her. It was a bit elementary in nature, but a solid body slam was a good attack classic.

Kiho hoped that her attack on him might even the odds of the sparring session so for. If she had to grade the both of them neither was really doing that much better than the other. It was clear that this fight was more about testing the limits of their own abilities rather than actually trying to win. When Kame's frame collided with the ground she couldn't help but think of how damage would be done to the average Shinobi.

It was sort of cringe to watch, but in only a matter of moments Kame managed to regain control of their body just as she was landing back on the ground. "Wow.. This guy is crazy strong. I thought that kick might at least slow them down for a moment, but outside of the debris on their cloths he looks fine." Kiho added while placing both hands on her hips. She was beginning to get a little out of breath from all the chakra she had been using so far.

Of course Chomei had plenty to offer in the tank, but she had to learn to make use of what she had at this level without trying to extract more. Kiho still had plenty left to give at this level, but it was also clear that she was going to need to chill out soon if she was going to remain at this level. Kame's for was extremely formidable defensively, and the speed increase he'd gotten was insane as well.

Without so much of a warning he blitz toward her. For a moment she lost complete site of the Shinobi before he reappeared not too far from where she was standing. Out of instinct she wanted to use the technique she learned from Yuudai, but that was a card she needed to save for another time. Of course that meant there was little room to move out the way, albeit she still could. However, this fight was about testing their might so she would do as he'd done already.

Once her bright orange optics got Kame within her sight she'd brace for impact by crossing both of her arms. When his frame collided with her own it practically knocked the wind out of her. She was surprised to see how much of an impact he was able to make on her shroud by just using the boost given to them. The boys body felt like pure steel, and needless to say without her own Shroud she would have been done for.

It took everything in her to regather her arms to use his momentum to push herself off his frame as she was flying backward. The end result would leave her dragging into the grass and the upper parts of her body literally into the ground. What the hell are you doing?! You could have easily moved out the way. Kiho was quick not to respond as she was stuck literally in the ground. Fortunately she wasn't unconscious, but it definitely took her awhile to lift herself from out the ground.

When she sat up their was nothing but dirt and grass setting atop her shroud. It wouldn't be long before it all fell off naturally due to it heating prowess. "Shit... *cough cough* I couldn't freaking breath, but what did you say Seven?"

You need to calm down, you aren't indestructible y'know?!

My bad.. I just needed to see how much we could take at this level.. My freaking chest hurts, ugh!

The body slam surprisingly worked, surprisingly because Toru had not expected the girl to simply stand there without really doing anything. He had seen that she was capable of keeping up, so it was odd that she had actively chosen to simply take it like that. Unsurprisingly it threw her backwards, and with the momentum, Toru had built up, well he wasn't exactly stopping in flight either. Instead, at some point he would unlatch himself from Kiho but whilst she hit the ground and rolled totally out of breath, he had a different albeit similar experience. Unfortunately, there were training dummies scattered around the area, and in his unlatching, he was flying back first towards one.

He slammed right through it, only barely stopping his flight before he hit the ground. Hard. Really hard.

Were it not for the shroud and his natural durability granted to him as a privilege by Isobu, well he would likely be unconscious if not dead from such a hit as his head hit the ground too. The pain rang true through his body, so true that once he slid to a stop in the grass, he curled into himself. Focusing hard as he bit back tears of pain and as a result welling of emotion that could cause a loss of control.

Just then, as he focused, the shroud would totally slip away from him and there lay Toru completely normal. Breathing hard as he would try to return himself to a semi-state of normalcy...

Then wearily he would begin to rise, to his fours raising his head to see where Kiho had ended up. She too was laid out, he would need to practice a lot more to do such risky stunts...

"Shit..." He whispered raggedly, fortunately, no tears had come and no evidence of them remained.

Toru-chan?

Mm?

Not sure... That was the hardest hit.

You have to remember to pace yourself, you aren't in perfect control yet. You'll get there but please be careful.

It wasn't long before her shroud cut off altogether. Her frame remained still as she tried to regain her breath. It might have been better for her to do it standing, but she was still in too much pain to move. She wondered if Kame experienced a similar feeling. Taking on that hit might have not been the best idea, but it would give her a ton of insight on how much she could take at this level sometime in the future.

Pfft! Only you could let a turtle make you look this bad.

Afterward Kiho slowly stood up from off the ground. Initially she'd stumbled before hitting the ground again. "*cough cough* Owww.. This hurts sooo much Seven.." Kiho cried out softly before standing up again to see where Kame was. She hoped to wave her imaginary white flag so that he might be aware that she was finished with their session, but he looked to be in bad shape as well. Maybe not as bad, but at least he wasn't bouncing around like she thought he would.

See.. We didn't do that bad..

WE?!

"Kame! You alright over there." After looking around it was crazy to see how much damage they had done. Now that she had thought about it, this was the first time she ever got to use her abilities to such a level. She wondered if Kusagakure would have a problem with the state they left the training ground in, but then she remember there were skills that could make all this stuff come back without much work. They were Shinobi after all.

It would take the girl a while to get over to where Kame was, and if she got there before he managed to get back up on his feet she'd attempt to offer him a hand. "You really outdone yourself Turtle boy. I'm definitely impressed with the amount of progress you have made so far.. I guess that makes you a genius too."

Toru would raise a singular hand towards Konchu when asked if he was in fact alright, having laid down to catch his breath and get a little bit of a break from all that he had exhausted. He was really thinking that breakfast or lunch would be good now that they had stopped, and with how much he had exhausted himself, well, he wasn't going to say 'no' to replenish what was lost.

Slowly he would rise up to sit, cross-legged, this was the first time he had ever truly gotten to go all out with his actual powers. In the past, he had restrained himself pretty hard, as he knew that going all out might very well kill someone. Not with this girl though, she could take his punches. Well, for the most part. It seemed that his final body slam had taken it out of her too. A true testament to the power that Isobu had as a true bullet tank. Toru was quite pleased, even if it wasn't showing on his body.

Or his face.

Sitting up, but not standing up the girl would make her way over and reach down to him. He looked at the hand, and with a sigh to concede his stubborn antics for a moment he would place his hand into her palm to palm firmly to lift himself up.

He wavered for a moment before looking at Konchu.

"So I'm told," He remarked about her comment about his being a genius. He worked hard, though his hard work also came with a bit of natural talent. She was not the first to comment on it.

"Hungry?"

Kame was normally as stubborn as that hard frame of hers. She expected to get a macho response in her attempt to help him from off the ground, but she was surprised to see he actually accepted her help. The look on her face was definitely an intrigued one, and it left the Kuniochi wondering if she finally got to him. Perhaps not, but anything was better than what their encounters were earlier in the year.

Kames response in regard to her compliment didn't get pass her either, but it wasn't like she could say anything against it either. He caught on pretty fast with his Jinchuuriki abilities, and based on their experience today it was clear that he was on his way to being a successful Jinchuuriki much like herself. If only she could receive a little bit of credibility in his growth, but she was certain if he ever reached the top of the ranks that somewhere along the line that her presence would be acknowledged.

Maybe not through her real name, but in some way shape or form. After helping Kame up she expected that the two mind exchange little to no words on route to going there separate ways, but much to her surprise he offered her the chance to go have lunch with him. Well, maybe not directly, but his one word meant all the same. Kiho's spirit immediately shifted from tired to beaten up to uplifted. "Kame?! Are you asking me on a date?"

Kiho knew this would probably trigger the traditional boy, but she'd assure him that what she said was definitely a joke. It wasn't like they were either of each others types anyway. Ultimately, they would both decide on a timeline to meet back up so that they could go back to clean up and change cloths as the terrain left them a complete mess.
