It had been a long journey from hot springs country, her legs were tired - aching ever so slightly, yet the girl continued to push forward until she had finally touched down in Tea Country, just south of the land of fire. She hadn’t stopped walking since. She couldn’t believe the news when she heard it, almost thinking it to be some kind of joke, however the longer she traveled, the more intel that the girl managed to gather - apparently it was building up to be a huge spectacle. A crisis that needed handling, and apparently Konoha forces were alerted - yet the kids still remained missing. That part didn’t surprise Kazui, she didn’t expect the leaf village to give a damn about some kids from Otogakure…they barely gave a damn about their own.

A sigh escaped her breath as soft fingers gently ran through her long black hair. Where to start? The question arose in her mind - with little intel, Kazui was unsure of how to proceed. Where was this prison located? She gritted her teeth before unfastening her old ANBU mask from her belt and gently placing it onto her face, the cat-esque porcelain mask sealing itself across the girl’s features as she took to the tree line. Branch by branch, the girl sought out the high ground to get a better look over the area.

Dark hues scanned the immediate vicinity trying to gather as much evidence as she possibly could, but the longer the girl looked, the more it felt as if she were just watching people go on about their normal lives. Ugh, boring. This was going to be a bit more work than what she planned for, but Kazui was willing to do anything to put an end to the scum who kidnapped those innocent children.

It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Uchiha Bloodline: Two Tomoe Sharingan
Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her. In terms of her being able to track extremely fast objects and people alike, the eye also allows a natural reactive ability that helps her respond more accurately than a single tomoe could ever allow. As for the ability to see chakra, with a second tomoe the smallest and most faint sources of chakra can easily be spotted by the eye without any issue at all. Assigning color and analyzing the flow of the chakra, Kazui can tell which nature is going to be used as well as where the chakra will be coming from.

The Eye of Hypnotism on the other hand is much different than the previous eye, it allows the girl the ability to cast and break genjutsu with no issue at all, in a way only the Uchiha are capable of. It also gives her access to a set of genjutsu only known to those who possess great visual prowess amongst the clan. These illusions are very powerful in nature and are some of the most dangerous known to the art, they are well beyond standard genjutsu, and in addition the illusions can be casted with just a single glare. Those who met her gaze will find themselves under her spell before they can even realize what happened.

Tiny Dancer - Elusiveness
Kazui is one quick girl, which isn’t hard to tell. Thanks to her training, the girl has amazing agility and reflexes that allow her to keep herself out of harms way. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. It should be noted however that genjutsu reversal does not receive any additional boosts from this ability.

Sleight of Hand - Seals Master
As Kazui grew older and gained more experience and familiarity with the ninja arts, the girl’s chakra control had essentially been mastered along with her speed and accuracy with forming hand-seals. Countless of hours spent training, learning, and even creating new jutsu has made the girl grow familiar with every seal needed to perform any jutsu, every motion for every combination, her body absorbed and memorized - allowing her to flow through the motions with no given thought or effort. Her speed with forming these seals is insanely quick and precise, she’s even capable of stringing together the lengthiest combinations of hand seals and casting jutsu faster than most can even dream of keeping up with, making it appear as if she hadn’t even tried to use any hand-seals to begin with. Her vast knowledge and familiarity with sealing in addition to her refined chakra control has lead her to being able to utilize only a single hand to form a seal as well, though she only does this under certain circumstances.

There had been a change within him after he had learned the news and then more after his meeting with his erstwhile student. And much which he held believed about the village he placed in question. Him being here had been prompted by that change, that disquiet that remained within him as the cart advanced, creaking and cracking under the weight of the individuals that sat inside it. In the past the village would have been deemed something like this simply beneath him or at the very least something that could be accomplished by others. Other never came though and he saw that as a flaw that had to be corrected. Fight for the village that will be. He told himself as a mantra. There was however a practical concern, if shinobi could be kidnapped in a neighboring country and move far south through the land of fire, then he needed to know how and rescue those that had been taken. And so, when the cart stopped and he jumped from it along with the other passengers dressed in the garb of simple traveler, wearing a long tattered cloak and hood along with clothes that would be seen more fit of a farmer he began to make his way through the town which his last leads had taken him to. Tossing a knapsack over his shoulder, he would begin his walk, walking as if he had a crooked back and slouching his shoulders. Leads. He thought, slowly making his way towards a tavern, thinking that it would be a good first place to start, at the very least he could observe, see moments and detect the subtle movements of someone that wanted to keep whatever they were doing secret. He would look around, trying to find the local watering hole or something close to it. Mingling with the masses as he knew that they wouldn't expect him or any Konoha shinobi. At least not now, not something like this, and specially not this. For now, he could only hope for the best.

Sharp eyes and keen vision glanced over the area diligently, with the amount of civilians in the area it was proving to be difficult to find someone who might have been out of place. Kazui was young, but she was a very seasoned shinobi - taught by one of the greatest, so if anything were to stand out…even the slightest, the teen was likely to pick it up. With that being said however, a familiar presence quickly made itself known as her chakra stretched far across the land. She clenched her teeth tightly, one part disbelief, one part excitement..the girl didn’t know how to feel. "Kazuto!” The thought crept through her mind as the all too familiar presence of the Senju stuck out like a sore thumb.

A fire was lit beneath her, and the girl wasn’t sure if she should high tail it or what, but the thought of the children anchored her to the tree branch long enough for her to think her options over. Turning her back on kids who so desperately needed her was the exact thing Konoha would do…it was also the exact opposite of what her brother, Hotaru, would’ve done as well. She couldn’t forsake everything that he stood for, everything he sacrificed. Kazui looked up to him, and so Hotaru’s very own will resonated deeply within her soul as well.

Her decision was quickly made…

From branch to branch Kazui quickly leapt, dashing through the wooded area - making a direct b-line towards the man’s location. Determination in her eyes and anger in her heart - they’re previous encounter left the girl with more questions than answers, but maybe perhaps her emotions were blinding her from getting the answers she so desperately sought after. Why didn’t he attempt to bring her back? Did he not care? A groan escaped her breath, and as she took one great leap from the treeline, the girl would land like a feather amongst the bystanders, except by the time she reached the earth below, her mask had already been discarded - stowed away back onto her waistline, and her persona had completely changed, instead of the young girl that she was - Kazui now appeared as a slightly older boy version of herself.

As she managed to slip into the tavern practically unnoticed, the girl would occupy one stool at the counter. Her eyes scanned the menu, and honestly she had no idea what any of the stuff was or what it tasted like, so she just ordered blindly, using her best judgement. "Plum sake, please.” And with a nod, the bartender would fulfill her request. The cup however sat in front of the girl untouched, her mouth never even touching the glass - she wasn’t there to drink…she was there to watch Kazuto closely and to listen to the mingling of conversations.

After a moment of thinking Kazui quickly came to a conclusion that her former master was there for the same reason that she was - knowing that someone like Kazuto would surely know that a disguise like that wouldn’t work on her - therefore he couldn’t have been there to capture her.

His eyes would dart from person to person as he entered the bar. Most of them wearied travelers, others part of the local clientele. Traders, settlers, guards, none of them seemed to be capable of pulling out the kidnap of several promising shinobi, but with what he had seen around the world there were strangers thing. If the trail had come cold here then it would be here in which he would try to pick it up again. He quietly surveyed over those that seemed to be settling in a corner, whispering of their own deals in a low hush but decided this was inefficient to discern who would be his link with the kidnapers. Still in the guise of a tired man he would turn around, finding the appearance of someone that he knew even if the resemblance was marred by boyish look rather than a girls charm. Kazui. He thought as his heart leapt in joy but his mind reminded him of what had transpired between the two of them. She being here was no coincidence, of that he was sure. Either she was here to take some form of revenge for his failings or she was here a reason that mirrored his. Mercenary shinobi would take a mission like this and what was she now but that? Now she must have realized that he had noticed her. The stare down didn't last for long as he turned in his her direction to where she sat and dropped the bag he carried at the feet of the table. He sat down and looked down as he held his hands together like any wearied traveler. "For rogue..." He began, his voice sounding more like a whisper. "You seem keen to find me." He told his former student, raising his head and peering beneath the hood of rough spun cloth that hid his features. "I take it you're not here to surrender yourself to me?" He asked, showing some bemusement in his tone. "Either you want to settle matters with me, or you're here for the children... Right?"

Cold dark eyes observed everything in the tavern, all who seemed to stand out were watched and noted, they were all characters however the main focus for Kazui was the old traveler not too far away from the table at which she was seated. Her eyes looked over only to catch a glimpse of the man looking towards her - she calmly returned her gaze to the glass in front of her and placed the drink within her grasp as if she were actually going to drink it. Trying to play off the eye contact, the girl couldn’t help but feel the Senju’s presence growing closer and closer towards her until the "old traveler” grabbed a seat beside her and spoke.

At first Kazui didn’t pay Kazuto any mind, in fact she completely ignored him for a moment, refusing to look in his direction as she began swirling the beverage around in her glass, the sound of ice and glass clicking and clacking rang throughout the busy little bar. However, the harder she tried to ignore him, the more his words began to get through to her, almost causing the girl to scoff as she continued to look forward towards the numerous drinks on display behind the bar. "Funny.” She spoke softly. "Don’t flatter yourself..you’re not that important to me.” It was a lie, but she said it as if she meant it. Kazuto was the last thing on her mind, the two only happened to meet up again by chance.

Kazui sighed gently beneath her breath, bringing her hands together as she propped her elbows onto the wooden counter. So he was aware of the children that had gone missing, surprisingly enough Konoha actually took the matter seriously. Before Kazui could ridicule her former master even more however, a group of men would barge through the front door of the tavern - clearly dressed in garments that showed signs of newly obtained wealth. The guys were all different ages ranging from their 20s to their mid 30s, and from the way they carried themselves - Kazui could tell that something was strange. This particular part of the country wasn’t known to have high paying professions, let alone people with a ton of money - yet this group of men stood there boasting about their money and offering to pay for everyone’s drinks. Fishy.

Dark inky hues shifted to look at the Senju, a smirk growing on her lips as she realized that the two of them were actually working together again rather than arguing with one another. But as quickly as her smile curled, it just as quickly flattened back into the girl’s natural impassive state. "We don’t have a lot of time..so let’s just get this over with.” The girl would say in terms of actually finding the kids and returning them back to their homes.

There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. She uses the absolute bare minimum of the chakra that’s needed, and not a drop more.

Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. Even without her sharingan being active, Kazui possesses sharp perceptive abilities and reflexes that allows her to become an escape artist of some sort as well as a complete nuisance to those trying to fight her. The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. Her vast knowledge of the art as well as her training and extremely high sensory capabilities allow for the Uchiha’s escape efforts to be significantly stronger than it normally is, allowing her to free herself from genjutsu up to 1 rank above what she is typically capable of via the special ability granted to the Uchiha with The Sharingan’s genjutsu escape. Kazuto peered at the boyish mask that his apprentice wore and even whilst transformed he could see that her words that followed a scoff were not sincere, the subtle pull of the muscles, the contraction of the skin as she tried to make fun of the notion of his importance. Kazui had never been given to excesses of emotion, but he could tell when she was insincere. At the very least he thought so. A smile came and flashed by before it died like the burst of a firework in an inky dark sky as she voiced her desire to get the mission in motion. "Hmm, you wound me." He said as he would peer with the corner of his eyes. "But, you're right. We need to take care of this issue first." He looked at the men that had entered, out of place with the rest, no farmers, no traders of any kind. He tapped the worn surface of the bar as he became more and more pensive. They could take him, of that he was sure, but he also didn't want to raise any alarm to wherever their base was located. They needed one which they could extract the information that wouldn't be missed. One which the entire group that was in the bar was aware of a vice. "They look a lead." He said in a hushed tone as another round of cheers came by and more drinks were given away to the closest of the group. The Senju would then discreetly point to one, one of the oldest in the group, tall and barrel chested that seemed to be there but only because they tolerated him, not a leader but someone that would be trusted with information. "That is our man." He added before placing his hand over Kazui's wrist. "Let them drink more, that man will out drink them all and leave somewhere else to take the party, if they blow their coin in other places as they're doing it here, then they will separate, at that time we will..." He said trying to seek for the right word. "Convince him to tells us where his friends are located."

Kazui was glad that Kazuto agreed that they should try to get this mission done as quickly as possible, the well being of the kids were at stake and the longer they took with locating them, the more opportunity that these sick assholes had to harm or experiment on them. The thought alone made the girl’s skin crawl. Clenching her fist she’d watch as events unfold - watching each of them men closely. There seemed to be a few of them that were more important than the others - she could tell just by the way they carried and asserted themselves. As the Senju’s voice softly spoke out of the guy who seemed to be a lead, Kazui would give a gentle nod. Drinks and cheers continued to flow in abundance for the group..Kazui hated seeing them so happy knowing what they were doing was far past inhumane. Honestly, it took all of her power to stop herself from beating the shit out of them right there, and honestly if Kazuto wasn’t here then she’d definitely take the opportunity to do so.

Dark hues continued to look amongst the men with a mug that was far from friendly. If not careful then the Kazui would more than likely spark some kind of conflict with one of the guys. The girl sighed as she pulled her wrist from Kazuto’s hand. Being in his company was fine, but she refused to let him grab ahold of her - the level of trust they once shared had diminished drastically..so getting that back would take a bit of work. Nevertheless, she listened to the Senju closely.

An older guy who seemed to be there only because he knew the guys. He wasn’t someone that took control of the group or gave any orders for what to do or where to go next. He was simply following along with whatever the others decided. "Right..” The girl would say softly as ebony eyes continued to watch the group, only occasionally looking away at other patrons of the bar.

"Hmm..” Looking up towards the clock, the girl would grow a bit worried as she felt there was a race against time. Part of her didn’t want to wait for the losers to get drunk, but she knew that they had to locate the prison in order to find the children. Turning to face the Senju, the girl would admit in a whispered tone… "I can’t even sense the children with my mind’s eye.” Which meant they had to be very far away.

As drinks continued to flow in however, the group would continue to drink and drink. Most of them were unaware of their own limits, so it came as no surprise that they’d eventually start getting a bit out of hand, tripping over their own two feet and slurring their words.

[Senju Kazuto]

"That's not good." The Senju replied in a whisper. "They're our ticket to them though." He told the young Uchiha as he watched the man with the corner of his eye still affixed to the rowdy crowd of would be guards. He scratched his chin in deep thought, the sound of drinks being poured again and again until the stupor of the men was all over the place. They begin singing, loudly, war chants that were harkened back to eras that had been more violent than this one, singing in a tone disparaging tones, missing lyrics as they raised glasses to the air, splashing sake on those that tried to ignore them. Slowly the singing began to die out, same as the time they had to rescue the children that they were supposed to get back. Suddenly silence came from their table and with it a man raised to his height, clumsily walking towards the entrance of tavern, hitting the fame of the door on his way out as the barman tried to get him to pay. That was their chance. Turning to his former apprentice with a simple nod he would stand, placing a coin that paid for Kazui's drink and began following him, ignoring the drunken snores of his companions and slipping away as the rather rotund man would stumble his way through the small village. Hopefully with Kazui following behind they would a chance to trap him and extract the information from him. Time wasn't exactly their ally but he was confident that either through means of torture or the mental suggestion capabilities of the Sharingan that Kazui had they would be able to make him talk. He stepped forward, the ground crunching beneath his feet as he struck the man with his shoulder, they were in a desolate place now, no people around but them. The man turned to him, his scent rank with all the alcohol he and his companions had consumed. His face red and twitching with anger as he tried to summon the ability to speak back to him. If Kazui was to strike now was the time.

The longer the night went on, the drunker the guys got, and the more aggravated Kazui became. It took a lot of restraint to stop herself from telling them off, but she had to focus on this mission…the kids were more important than her own feelings at the moment, maybe she was starting to become more like her brother after all. Luckily it seemed as if their time at the tavern was coming to an end. As one of the men pardoned himself from the small pub without paying his fine, Kazui would look over towards her former master and would acknowledge his nod by jumping into action.

Stepping down from her stool, the girl would stretch before slowly making her way out - a short distance behind the drunken man. Once she and Kazuto turned the corner and were out of sight, her transformation jutsu would dwindle away. Long strands of black hair flowed down just past the girl’s shoulders - she’d pull it all back into a ponytail as she followed alongside Kazuto. Kazui understood that time was sparse, so now was the time to act.

As Kazuto stepped ahead and bumped into the guy, it managed to get the guy’s attention. "Ahh Ah..watch it..guy.” He spoke to the senju. Kazui would use this time to simply body flicker behind the larger man, and with a tug of his shoulder, she would manage to turn him around to where her crimson orbs would lock onto his - nearly peering into his soul as she placed the scum under one of her most powerful genjutsu. He found himself frozen in fear as the girl spoke.

"You should show us where the kids are being held up….You know what you’re doing is wrong.”

Her tone was quiet but still persuasive in the matter, if he were truly human maybe there was an ounce of guilt somewhere deep inside of him. The man simply stood there for a moment, scared to death, looking back and forth between Kazui and Kazuto both before quickly deciding it would be best to talk. "I…err…the jail! Yea yea the jail it’s uh..it’s…ahh.” Digging through his pockets he’d hand over a small notebook that had a map folded up inside of it, on it was the location of the prison. "There.” In the notebook itself were the names and pictures of not only the kid’s but a few of the man’s "colleagues” as well. Kazui snatched the book from the man and handed it to Kazuto without looking away from her target.

Without saying a word, Kazui turned on her heels and faced the senju completely. The man was still paralyzed with fear - speechless and unsure of what to do. Luckily for him however, the girl decided he wasn’t worth killing.

They were meant to enter the forest, to continue on ahead. He found other notes to keep in mind, but these would be for later when they had a chance for respite. As the Uchiha turned towards him, her eyes still the bloody red of the Kekkei Genkai he looked back, unflinching before the glare even when he respected the power behind them. "Ready." Kazuto replied before turning to the large burly man still between them. A mixture of gear, apprehension and even innocence in his clouded eyes. Duty demanded that he was left behind, preferably out of combat and permanently at that. But murdering someone in an alley, close to people wasn't exactly a good idea. "Put him to sleep for a longtime, over those garbage bags." He said, nodding towards an accumulation of bags that he calculated, had weeks if not months, the rank stench of decay being more overpowering than that of the drunken man. "Better they think he stumbled here and founding asleep, than murdered. We don't want to give ourselves away."

Kazuto’s confirmation was all that the girl needed, it was time for them to move on with their mission. As for the guy, Kazui knew that she couldn’t just leave him to be, but surely there was no need to kill him - despite him being affiliated with those at the prison. So the next best option would be to knock the man out, and so the girl would do just that. Beneath her dark colored cloak, the girl would rummage through her pouches, gathering 3 senbon before launching them into the guy’s neck. She was a well educated girl, and the sharingan allowed for precision when she targeted his pressure points. Crimson eyes watched as his body dropped to the ground, she had no intention of moving him, yet Kazui would collect her senbon.

"Let’s go.”

She mumbled in her typical impassive tone. Down the street the duo would go, their next stop would be the forests somewhere ahead. Kazuto’s company was good for now, but there was still minimal trust, so Kazui made sure to keep her distance as they traveled.

The forest wasn’t too far from the tavern, just a few hundred meters ahead from where they left the drunken mess of a man. Trees populated the forest’s space, allowing for minimal room, yet as they continued forward the two would stumble across a path that has been traveled heavily and frequently. If anything Kazui remained as precise as ever. As the senbon found the mark on the neck of the large man, his eyes widened in realization before unconsciousness took him away. With a thud he fell on the garbage bags as the sound of rustling trash enveloped him leaving only the faint sound of his breathing to be an evidence of his location. Quiet enough to be ignored due the sound of the town and yet easily found if they decided to look for him. Hopefully the puncture marks would fade enough with time. As the Uchiha left, he would suggest to him that he would follow which she promptly did. The forest wasn't far away, and as the two figures entered in it and the sounds of society faded for those of nature, he looked around and stopped. Deciding to undo his guise now that there was no one around, aware that his former apprentice would alert them if there were any patrols close buy. As the drags he wore were bundled in a ball revealing the undersuit and the rest of his ANBU panoply, he would produce a small scroll and seal the drags of cloth into it, preferring not to risk being found. "I'm sorry about that." He said, apologizing for the small delay. Kazuto could finally feel himself stretch after acting as he was hunched over for so long. As they carried on, he pulled the map they had gathered and consulted it, finding they were on the right track before turning to the Uchiha, noticing how she had grown up since the last time she had seen her after her disguise as a male version of herself had faded. She kept her distance from him and he sighed, placing the map back in his pouch before his fingers rummaged and producing a small package. Quickening his pace he offered to her. "Have you ate recently?" He asked first, imagining that she had her suspicions that this could be something with a sedative. "Its onigiri, Miho made it, but she gave me an extra one. You can have it if you want." He suggested as they continued their path towards the prison.

Kazui stopped a few steps behind Kazuto as the man began to change from his traveler persona. It was good to see him, though she wasn’t all too fond of his presence at this point in time. Nevertheless, as the long strands of brown hair fell, the girl would fold her arms across her chest and look off towards the side almost as if she didn’t care that the man was around. They were pressed for time, but she wouldn’t say anything about it, in fact…

"It’s fine.”

The girl replied softly as her dark orbs met with Kazuto’s deep green hues. "Let’s just try to make good timing, ok?” She added on before walking off a tad bit down the path it looked as if they were supposed to be traveling. For most of their journey, Kazui would remain completely silent, only the sound of her footsteps as she walked over dead leaves could be heard, as well as the occasional howl of a wild animal of some sorts. Her eyes remained focused on the road that the two were walking, she never truly looked over towards Kazuto, and she definitely would give him the satisfaction of small talk that the two used to have all the time before.

As the senju opened his mouth to speak, his words would bring Kazui’s somewhat brisk walk to a snail's pace as she turned to face him. Looking down at the package and then glancing up towards him, the girl would be hesitant to accept anything from Kazuto but ultimately she decided to take ahold of the package, grabbing the small onigiri with both hands all of sudden at the mention of Miho’s name.

"I .. haven’t.”

The girl answered, rotating the onigiri in her hands - taking the time to inspect the packaging. "Are you trying to bribe me with my favorite foods?” She looked up towards Kazuto, her question being as serious as always. She had always enjoyed Miho’s cooking, in fact she enjoyed everything about Miho, even the fact that she was married to Kazuto. Kazui sighed as she placed the food in one of her pouches, and walked off.

"Thank you.” She mumbled underneath her breath, quite low, but still to the point where the Senju would be able to hear the girl’s gratitude.

The girl’s reaction speed is superb and not to be taken lightly as it is, however, when the dojutsu is active, taking into account the girl’s great speed and adding her keen reflexes into the mix, it’s capabilities are much more potent and useful to the Uchiha. With this, not only is Kazui capable of keeping track of even the most renowned speediest opponents and attacks, the girl is able to keep up with, and react to them as well with relative ease.

Wake Up To Reality - KME Genjutsu Prowess
As an Uchiha it is believed that Kazui and many of her clanmen were born with a natural affinity for the art of genjutsu, but of course none of it can ever come to fruition if there is no effort placed behind it. However, since she was constantly reminded by those around her about that fact, the girl began to focus on the art more than ever before.

Although her illusions do become much more elaborate, less flawed in a certain sense, and stronger, the true results come more in the form of defending herself against genjutsu. "No... I..." He began but couldn't really think on what to tell her. Was he concerned for his beloved former apprentice? Each and everyday. Only did the young Uchiha's wellbeing held an actual chance of tying the thoughts he had towards his wife. But as he read the body language of Kazui he knew that everything he could tell her, fact or fiction she would mistrust due their recent encounters. He wished it so dearly that it wasn't the case, that she would talk to him again, even if it was in short phrases that did little to convey how she actually felt. "I just thought you would be hungry." Silence took over him as they followed the path, being content that she had at the very least said she was thankful for the meal. As they carried on, something changed in the expression of his former student. If he had memorized the map as well as he thought he had, then they close and it made sense that Kazui would be able to feel chakra signatures from their enemies and from their targets. The likelihood of them entering battle became more and more prevalent with each step they took. His stance lowered as he hunched forward, making his silhouette less obvious. His hand raising as he tried to make Kazui to follow him in his example. Hiding behind trees, he bid her to take position next to him as his eyes surveyed the area. Finding an entrance through a wall comprised of rocks and beneath there but a few guards. He began to count all he could see. "Four... Five with one that just emerged from the entrance." He added before turning to her. "How many can you sense, Kazui?" He enquired, wishing to know what their opposition would be.

Following in the Senju’s footsteps, Kazui would lower her stature, ducking down a bit so that she doesn’t get seen by anyone even though she had every intention of killing them all. They two would come to a quick stop, and from the trees and bushes, Kazuto would spot a few guards holding post over the front of the prison. They didn’t appear to be anyone that she herself would worry about, the signatures that truly caught her attention were the ones beyond the walls.

Taking in a deep breath, the Uchiha would scan the entire prison with her sensory yet again, this time she would see everything in fine detail from how everyone looked and what they were doing.

"I’m sensing 15 guards around the perimeter of the prison. That’s including the five we see up ahead, the rest of the men seem to be inside..I’m sensing four of them.” The girl would look towards Kazuto as she explained what she saw. It seemed like a lot to handle, but really the footmen on the exterior were just speedbumps that stood in their way, and Kazui was aware of this. Nevertheless, taking a second scan with her mind’s eye would reveal something dire that needed to be handled with utmost urgency. Her eyes widened as she turned to the Senju.

"They’re starting the experiments! We have to go now.”

Her voice broke as she explained. There was no longer any time for them to plan accordingly, the two simply had to act. Fast! Without much warning Kazui would leap from her position, a kunai laced with an explosive tag darted from her hand, and before they knew it - the five guards up front were blown away - along with the entrance to the prison.

The ability also extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or detecting if someone, including the user, is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra, the user can perceive its location and movement with great detail.

Little Know It All - Extreme Intelligence
It was no secret that Kazui was regarded as a scholar when she was in the academy. One of the smartest in her class, the Uchiha often found herself correcting and/or helping out people older than herself. Many considered her very intellectual then, but that was just only the surface of her potential. Now, the girl is regarded as a genius, her IQ is nothing to be taken lightly or to be taken for granted, even as a young chunin. The teen possesses amazing mental capacity, is able to concentrate flawlessly even in the heat of battle, can calculate things in her head with great speed, and is able to remember many things with perfect recollection, even if it’s just useless information that is meant to be disregarded. In addition to that, Kazui is very deductive, competent, and witted. Her mind is the most dangerous weapon she possesses for many reasons. The girl is highly alert, aware, and very analytical, and she is also very ingenious and is capable of thinking outside of the box as well. Not only is she capable of reading, analyzing, and breaking down a person’s fighting style, but she can also determine what kind of person they are just by the way they speak, the way they carry themselves, and their thoughts on certain things. While doing this, it’s incredibly difficult to deceive the girl, especially if one is not skilled in the art of deception. Furthermore, Kazui can formulate numerous plans to certain situations in mere seconds. She thinks 10 steps ahead, and always has a back up plan just incase.

Gone In The Wind - Blistering Speed
As a child, Kazui was born weaker than others. Her health conditions set the girl at a disadvantage physically since birth, however her constant effort and drive to become the best has pushed her far beyond many others the same rank as herself. Her speed is nothing to be taken lightly, she has pushed herself physically to be able to not only outpace her opponent, but outright force them into keeping up with her and pushing them to the brink with her speed as well. The girl is fast, quick, and agile, even rivaling those who dedicated their entire life to the art of taijutsu to the point where if they haven’t specifically honed their speed, then the girl could outright outclass them in that regard. Those with weak perception often have trouble perceiving the girl’s movements, and to a normal human’s eye perceiving her is nigh impossible. All of her movements are inhumanly quick and hard to keep track of, and when used in conjunction with her sharingan, it can make her a formidable opponent for even the strongest of shinobi.

The Minimalist - Chakra Control
There was a problem that Kazui noticed during her time in the academy and that was the fact that she often found herself tiring out and exhausting herself rather quickly, even when she had just started she could feel herself beginning to wilt. So to counter those measures, the girl studied and asked around, trying to find the reason behind it and if there was a way she could fix it. She wasn’t born with massive reserves so while she utilized her justus, she often did so wastefully. But now, the girl has managed to control the amount of chakra she uses in a technique that allows her to fight much longer than before. Being born within the Uchiha clan, Kazui has been blessed and/or cursed with a power that only an Uchiha can possess and use to its complete and full potential when they have experienced extreme emotions that causes their chakra to pour into their optic nerves, gifting them with the Sharingan, also known as the eyes that reflect the heart. There are three stages to the sharingan, and it is tracked by the amount of tomoe that appears around an Uchiha’s pupil. One tomoe unlocks the eye of insight, it grants the user the ability to see chakra within an opponent or ally and it also gives an increase to the user’s perceptive abilities. Two tomoe grants the user the eye of hypnotism, while in turn increasing the previous abilities that the ‘Eye of Insight’ grants. The girl’s precognition and perception is heightened well beyond what’s achievable by even the most skilled and elite shinobi, allowing her more of a predictive insight on her opponent as well as the world around her.
