[attr="class","skullbody"]It was a winter morning in Yukigakure and the young freshly minted shinobi was making her way to the training grounds to work on her form today’s lesson precision and practice with shinobi wire the girl had her weapon pouch filled to the brim with kunai shuriken and roughly 100 feet of wire accompanied by her wooden staff which was strapped around her back in a protective case.

Strapped to her back pocket was a small journal that she would use to keep track of her accomplishments, a tracker of sorts. As she took the journal and fanned through the pages she’d look over her many records for how often she was able to hit a specific target, last time her record was 10 times in a row so today she was going to try and double that "20...todays goal is to hit my target 20 times in a row.” she’d say before shutting the book closed and placing it back into it’s strap.

With that the girl would take position and on the field and remove a few Kunai from her pocket firing off two of them at once directly towards her target however as they whizzed through the air one of them would be chinked by the other causing it to slightly veer off course with one hitting it’s target and the other landing square on the bullseye the girl would look visibly disgusted as the failed effort. "Curses...I’ve only just begun and I’m already off to a bad start.” the girl would say as she walked towards the target and would pull the kunai from out of their respective spots, her feet crunching in the snow as she yanked them out and returned to her spot ready to try again.

"Twin shots are for show-offs and masters" purred a voice in Jun's ear. As any Ninja could, Raimaa snuck up on Jun with a combination of incredible speed and great body control, because theatrics were important today. And she felt like showing off.

Stepping around the woman to give her a quick once over with her glowing pink eyes, Raimaa would smirk. "Never half-ass two things, whole-ass one thing. When you can achieve your goal of hitting that target twenty times in a row, then think about twin shots" She'd finish, playing with a skewer that once held some small balls of meat, but was now empty.

[attr="class","skullbody"]As a voice would whisper in her ear the girl would turn and look to the sound that came her way but before she could turn a woman with glowing pink eyes would encircle her, moving faster than Jun’s golden eyes could follow. As the woman moved around her Jun would listen to her words, but would also recognize her face. "I know you...you’re Miss Raimma Fuutago are you not. It’s a pleasure…” after greeting her the woman would hear her remark about how she shouldn’t half ass something and that it was better she focus on only one thing.

"I suppose I could but I can barely land my strikes consistently, I'm attempting to work on my precision but I'm having some trouble." she'd say speaking to the older woman sounding a tad discouraged. She'd then stop and look to her hand and think analyzing the situation. "I always seem to take one step forward and two steps back." the girl would pout however even still she'd redouble her efforts and analyze the situation a tad. "Hmm...I wonder let me try this again.” without saying much the girl would place one Kunai away and would then take the one she did have in her right hand and chuck it right towards her target aiming for the bullseye and landing a direct shot.

She’d walk over and remove the Kunai from the plank of wood and then return to her position. "I seem to be able to land the strike consistently with my right hand but…” she’d remove another Kunai and then try aiming with her left hand but as it whizzed in the air it would go off course by just a hair and end up just outside of the range of the target. "So that’s my flaw...I need to work on my accuracy with my off hand instead of just trying to train them both at once! Checkmate!" Feeling excited at her discovery she would then look back at the older woman.

"Miss Raimaa...I hear you're good with weapons, could you help critique my form perhaps?” she’d say as she walked towards the wood and remove them from their spots returning back to her position and ready herself to fire off another Kunai once again with her off hand in order to improve her rate of success. "My apologies by the way Ma’m my name is Jun, are you watching? Watch my motions and let me know if there's a flaw in my execution.” The girl would then fire off a shot flicking her wrist with her shot her form was on point but clearly not perfect and hoped that miss Raimaa could help her pick up the pieces.

"Raimaa Minamoto" Raimaa replied, a correction with a tone of civility. Though a gentle undercurrent that she would be civil exactly once on that front. The cute little berry would then go about talking to herself, throwing and exclaiming she needed off hand work more than anything. It was good to self-evaluate, and good that Raimaa didn't need to tell her that. Ambidexterity was something that was pretty much agiven for any Shinobi of considerable skill.

"Mmm, well. You are using too little of your arm, for starters" Raimaa replied, stepping behind Jun and sliding a gentle finger down her arm. Those fingers, so soft, and yet so precisely. They knew exactly where to go, and the gentle breath of the woman down her neck...the sultry tone of voice so close to her ear...Raimaa was not one to shy away from what others considered taboo.

"You need to be flexible, firm and supple. Flickshots are used to catch your opponent off guard, but it is best to train with full throws" She would guide Jun's arm back, and then out in a strange and technical posture. "Keeping the flight path as straight as possible helps judge direction, and throwing a blade so it spirals in the air gives you 50% chance of hitting them with the handle, as well as slowing the blade down in transit"

[attr="class","skullbody"]As the woman would stand up and approach her in the snow Jun would note that the woman would run her hands along her arms along the hem of her jacket a bit more personal then she expected but this was normal she needed to show her the ropes of course. As the older woman would raise her arm she shed explain to her what she was doing wrong. The woman’s tone of voice had a sultry manner of speaking. The girl would look over in her direction lowering her eyes as she whispered the intimacy catching her off guard but she’d then nod allowing to show her what she meant. "Yes Ma’m.” she’d say as she adjusted her arm explaining the way she needed to throw, allowing her to move her into the posture necessary for the most accurate throw.

It was a bit foreign but when her hand released the kunai her throw was noticeably straighter but based on what Raimaa was telling her it had other applications. "I see…” the girl would say feeling a bit caught off guard by her actions. After a moment she’d release herself from Raimaa’s clutches and would retrieve the Kunai on the ground. Before returning and chanting Raimaa’s words to herself. "Flexible, Firm and Supple. Flexible,Firm and Supple.” After doing a few practice motions to get a feel for it the girl would throw out her weapon with her off hand using the motion that Raimaa taught her the kunai would whizz through the air and when it landed her aim was corrected, but it was still off. "It worked almost!" the girl would say, she'd place her hand on her chin. "It would appear that changing one's motion to be both flexible, firm in the throw and supple in execution seems to result in a far more accurate throw!" she'd look back at her instructor.

"But I still need practice!" she'd ask looking back to her teacher as she went and removed the Kunai from the wooden board. Returning to the position performing a few more throws with the same form. However this time she'd be slightly closer to the target. "Did you see Miss Raimaa, I almost had it." after one more throw the girl feeling confident would release the throw and nail the final shot. "Checkmate!" she'd remark pleased with her progress. "Who knew such a simple change in form could have such a drastic improvement." however the girl still wasn't satisfied. "But now...how do I do that with two hands?" she'd ask, looking back at her teacher is there a special form for that as well?

If you are real flashy you can add a spin to the Kunai and give it a drilling motion, though you have to throw the thing with some force for that to work. Or buy special drill-kunai"

She'd then look at the woman who asked how to do that with two hands. Cocking her eyebrow a little, she realized why she never took a position in the Academy.
"By....doing it with your other hand. It being your other hand doesn't stop it from working all of a sudden. The only thing you need now is to practice until you can-" Raimaa's left hand would flick out suddenly, while still looking to the other woman. The Kunai she had so suddenly thrown whizzed out and into the bullseye with a heavy thunk. And Raimaa, didn't miss a beat while talking "-do it in the middle of a conversation. If you want to be a Bukijutsu specialist, then you should practice until everything in the world is just angles and trajectories. Until you can glance at any object and know how to throw an object to hit it square on"

"Well of course but I was mostly asking because I figured since my form was off for my one handed throw perhaps I was making a similar mistake with my dual throw?” she’d state. "Perhaps I’m ought to give it another go.” the girl would state as she walked towards the board to remove the Kunai and noticed how deeply the skewer was stuck in the board. She’d look back at Raimaa astonished. "Just how hard was that throw.” she’d think.

After a moment the girl would return to her starting position. "Watch me now Miss Raimaa.” Jun would then take her Kunai and take aim from her spot and after a moment would chant Miss Raimaa’s words. "Flexible, Firm and Supple. Flexible, Firm and Supple.” After a moment she’d release the Kunai from her grip and the two would fly through the air both landing on target with her off hand still being off but much more precise. "Yes, progress!” the girl would exclaim having nailed her shot. "Thank you Miss Raimaa, with this nailing my quota should be easy. Would you like to take a few shots?” she'd say taking a few steps back allowing her the chance to take a shot.

Ohh, two handed being throwing two Kunai at once. Not something Raimaa really supported though.

"Ahh. Hmm. Double-throwing like that is flashy but often without point. Hard to aim both of them at the same time, and easier to telegraph what you are doing. Plus you don't have a free hand for reaction and defence. You'll want to practice reaction speed and situational awareness, so you can adapt to changing battlefield conditions on the fly, and use the last thrown Kunai to guide the next. Hem the guy in where you want him to be with lightly flicked projectiles"

She'd demonstrate by throwing a few Kunai with rapid speed. Not as precise or as well sitting as the last, but with a startling rate to them. "Then when he is in poor position to move, swing" she'd take a Kunai out with her other arm and swing her body around, tossing the thing point first at a speed enough to make the handle whistle from the wind.

"Though ultimately, Kunai are distractions and weapons of advantage. Good to be good with, but never to be relied on"

"I see...so utilizing Kunai for dual throwing doesn’t have as much value as one would think and it leaves me open.” the young tactician would look to the older woman watching her motions the first few were thrown fast to be able to startle someone with how swiftly they were utlizized. However afterwards she’d throw a final Kunai that was significantly faster in terms of speed. "Oh I see...so distract and then attack, do I have that right?” the girl would head towards the target and retrieve the Kunai and hand them back to her she’d then take her mark and give it a go herself.

Throwing out a quick few with her dominant hand with one motion that would hit the target in varying positions but would then throw a final with a sweeping motion with the same speed that Raimaa demonstrated getting the same whistle from her blow, which would land beneath the few she had thrown before. "Like that?” she’d say looking back at her eager to know how well she did, afterwards marching back to retrieve them once more.

She'd then make a suggestion. "Should we maybe practice on each other? A target may not be ideal for dealing with an enemy in motion.” the girl would say as she retrieved her Kunai and returned to the older Jounin. "I think it would be a good way to apply what you've taught me, is that alright?" the girl felt as thought she was learning a good deal but needed a true and what better way than the woman who taught her.

That was...actually amazing. Like, incredibly spectacular. Raimaa had trained for decades to get her throwing skill, but for this woman to be able to pick up a whole new throwing style and do it as accurately as her in the first attempt without any loss of power...

"Hmm" was the reaction to that. Raimaa had not really much care left to pursue things like that. Deciding instead to pursue things like the lil 'un wanting to practice throwing techniques on each other. "I might be fast enough to catch Kunai, but I would like to avoid the awkward conversation of 'Hi Doctor Yoi. This genin wanted me to throw a Kunai at her, so I did. Can you help her not bleed to death?'"

There was no critique so she assumed she did a good job and after retrieving the Kunai the youth would then turn towards the older woman who had stated that she was fast enough to catch the Kunai, this would cause the tactician to give pause and then come up with an idea. "What if you deflected them instead!” the girl would remove the long wooden polearm form behind her back and would walk over and hand it to her instructor.

"Here. I was going to work on some of my forms with my staff later but perhaps you could use it to help me train? I’d heard stories around town that you’re an excellent weapons master capable of using anything you pick up like it were a sword or other weapon is it true?” the girl would say with an eagerness in her voice, as she held the finely crafted staff aloft.

"I made her myself, It's attuned to fire, and is lacquered and crafted to be hard and robust, I'm sure you'll use her well.” Should the woman take the weapon the young tactician would take a stance and move back some few feet and ready her weapons to test her accuracy, with a focused look in the eye. Taking the staff and giving it a spin, she'd become aware of the intricate nature of it's internals. Knowing the hardest and weakest point, and getting a good feel for it's balance so knowing how best to swing without overextending or underswinging.

"It's a decent staff, yea. I got a wooden one myself" She'd pull out her own wooden sword and flip it over to let the woman take a look. "Though, if your Chakra Nature is Raiton then don't stare directly at it. Tends to light up a little if you have that" she'd then let her get a feel for the thing and take a few steps back. The woman kid could do with a bit of flash, so Raimaa decided to do a bit of flash.

"Alright. Chuck when ready"

It was thrown pretty well, though Raimaa merely gave a grin and shifted her footing, spinning and catching the Kunai in flight, and then using the momentum of the spin to launch it at the second Kunai that had been thrown. With that flash out of the way, the cheek-born Kunai would be deflected with the back of her hand, the Kunai bouncing off as if it wasn't made of flesh but hard steel. Which...seemed more probable. It had a paler hue than her other hand and didn't have as pronounced variance in colouration than the other hand did.

[attr="class","skullbody"]After the girl gave her explanation she’d think on it wondering what she could to craft a weapon of such magnitude however the moment at hand was now and as she throw her Kunai the first one would be swatted away with a series of flashy motions. Being sent back into the second one with a sparking clash sending them off course, during this instance however a third kunai would be thrown back towards her and the woman using the back of her hand would swat it with nigh a single injury which nearly made the girl do a double take.

"How’d you do that!?” she’d say with astonishment she was happy to have hit her target but even more surprised that the woman seemed to shrug it off, she'd take note of her arm and how it seemed different from the other one it was fascinating to save the least, she'd have to ask about that later.

"You really are something Miss Raimaa.” the girl would then ready another set of Kunai in her hands. "Oh, uhh Miss Raimaa, after this would you like to come have a cup of coffee with me? I'd love to simply sit and talk more.” she’d say waiting for her to ready up before throwing three kunai at her putting an interesting spin on them causing them to spread to three different spots two going towards her shins and the third going towards her chest in an almost triangular like motion.
