[attr="class","skullbody"]Ichi couldn't be called more excited if you wanted to. If one were to look at the way that the Nakahara dressed, it would be abundantly clear that he loved the Harvest Festival more than anything else, and seeing as his family ran it he would always volunteer to take odd job missions that came in to the village to assist people in relation to the festival. This was the time of year where his concept of keeping everyone alive really felt like it shined best. Ichi strived to keep people alive through preventative measures, enemy and ally alike were his priority... after all no one deserved to die fighting when war was an unnecessary existance.

So here he was, wearing his headband as a hair band to keep his silver locks out of his face, thick rubber gloves on his hands, and a broom in hand to take on the mission that he had been assigned with an eager acceptance of the task at hand. It was a simple little cleaning task, but you couldn't find a person more willing to go through with such a task in all of Kusagakure, the only strange thing was that... he didn't remember this shop at all. It was old, and inside of the markets district where businesses like this usually existed, but he had never been inside which was a rarety in his seventeen years, being the Kusagakure connoisseur that he was.

Openning the front door he would cough for a second as dust came blowing out and into his face. Looking around inside and squinting into the darker interior, "Oji-San? I am here for the mission detail, are you here?"

『Harvest Moon's Child』
Ichi was born to the Nakahara clan on the night of a Harvest Moon. Born with quite the green thumb he was assumed to be an inheritor of the clan's natural talents with plants. The roots ran deeper, however, as Ichi was born with a Kekkai Genkai, being a rare natural occurance of Wood Release outside of the Senju. In learning of this he has trained his kekkai to the best of his abilities. He is no master, seeing as he has no reference of Mokuton, but he has found a way to bring out techniques along side his own talents in a cohesive manner.

Ichi was born with Mokuton, but he was not graced with the same level of chakra as the Senju would be in his situation. Being roughly average for an individual, Ichi instead focused on the skills his birth clan preferred. Practicing his medical skills, he has gained a higher quality of Chakra Control. Ichi is much less likely to leak chakra than the average shinobi because of this.

When Ichii walked into the store, he would notice that the place was indeed one hell of a mess. This was a thrift shop, and had many boxes spread out, as well as items pilling up on top of one another. The place was also covered in dust, and had many spiderwebs, a few bugs and cockroaches ran away from the light and the noise caused by the Genin's entrance, a sign that this mission would be hard.

The owner of the store was sitting in the back in a chair behind a counter full of trinkets. When he noticed the boy, he got up, grabbed his cane and started to slowly make his way to the young man, but a single look at the man was enough to notice he was very old - at the very least on his 80s - and he looked quite frail. He didn't say a word yet, but as he approached, he coughed really hard.

[attr="class","skullbody"]His heart would melt at the signs of the senior coming to the front of the store. A gentle expression would come over Ichi's face as he would move into the store, having to duck to move into the building that was not built for giants such as he. Bowing as he did so ever the most modest of attempts to greet the elder that stood before him. Even with no knowledge to the man, he was more than aware that this man was nearing the end of his life. He had lived with a good season of autumn, sooner or later winter would approach and that was beautiful to Ichi. Living til one's final winter. As he would raise he would continue to smile.

"Good afternoon Ojii-San. I was the one to clean, please do feel free to rest while I work," Ichi would speak further in greeting. Taking in the store it was plenty dirty and Ichi had to wonder about what kind of experience the old man was keeping trapped in his head without being shared to another. Was his story as forgotten as the store? The dust laying so thick one would think that the actual fact that the old man lived in this store was a horrible joke... luckily, Kusagakure forgot none of its children. Ichi would roll up the sleeves to his yukata and tie his sash an extra time as he began work on the building. Locating the windows that were shuttered first and opening them.

With light flowing into the building he would nod to himself as he looked at a store that seemed filled with relics. Shinobi memorabiliam and tools from an age past, not all weapons, not all things he was used to seeing in this day and age but recognized. This would be funner than originally thought.

[attr="class","skullbody"]The first things that needed to happen was dust removal. Ichi would begin to work from thew furthest part of the storefront where the dirt and grim was thickest. A rag being produced from the pocket he usually kept his shinobi tools in he would smile at the fact that he could reach the ceiling. Cleaning methodically from the top to the bottom was how things should be. It would be easier to clean if he started high and worked down after all. The back wall slowly going from a dull white to a polished white before he simply could not wipedown anymore.

It would be at this point that Ichi would kick himself for not bringing a bucket of water with him on the mission to fulfill the needs of the old man to have the store cleaned... he also wished he had known there were tools of such age here, he would have brought proper cleaning tools for such things as well... but that wasn't the situation that the salt and pepper haired boy found himself in. He was in for quite the cleaning spree if this was going to be what he was looking for over the next few hours. He may have ended up needing to do a supply run if it had not been for the keen eyes he possessed.

Turning he would notice a closet door that seemed to be a small supply closet seperate from the living area of the old man in the back. Ichi twisting and leaning in would knock to get the old man's attention with a smile on his face, "Oji-San, do you mind if I use any cleaning supplies you have here... and possibly more importantly, do you have a water pump attached to your property?"

The young man started cleaning the store by dusting it. The old man who owned the store sit down on a chair by the end of it, hoping to stay out of the way. He had a nice, kind smile on his face and his narrow eyes showed gratitude and appreciation for the young shinobi who came to fulfill his request; it was really reassuring for him to have such a capable young man there to make sure his store could go back to its former pristine condition.

As he progressed through the cleaning, Ichii eventually noticed the need for supplies and decided to approach the old man for it. "Oh, of course, young man. You can help yourself to whatever you need from the cabinet. There should be enough. As for the water, I will fetch it for you, give me a moment." and even if the young man offered to do that instead, the old man would shake his head and lift his palm; he didn't want to place all the burden on the young shinobi, and he felt like he could feel somewhat useful by doing that.

"It's outside, so just give me a couple minutes." the man said as he walked towards the exit of the store, slowly but determined.

In fact, he had earnestly tried to start detesting, but he also knew just how much this store likely meant to such an elderly man. This was his legacy and he didn't seem to have an apprentice of any form to hand it off to. What would become of this shop in the coming winter of the old man's? It made the boy sad to think about but it couldn't be helped, time was the greater taker of all. He too would return to the world around him after his time on the green earth that he loved so much. A breath he would feel out around him for all the life that existed.

There was no point in worrying about that now, he had work to do after all. Moving to the broomcloset he would take a broom out and begin to sweep the floor in the back half of the store. He would take to the floors in the back first and clean the dirt out to the front door making his way through the area he had already been working on for the entirety of the last few moments. His mind wandering off into the thoughts of what was to come. Koume had entered the chunin exams which meant he had to enter as well right? He was the protector of life in this village, at least in his head, so he worried about his fellow genin quite deeply.

[attr="class","skullbody"]Taking the time to knock out the basics in the few minutes that the old man was gone Ichi would smile. His mind wandering back to the exam in its entirety he needed to find a way to better protect his friends and himself if possible. Having talked to Kazuto he had been given permission to visit and learn from the Senju Clan Compound like a member of the clan. A fact that had both made him and his parents thrilled, but far more scared of what could possibly be planned for him in the future... he decided that that was not something he could not allow to hold him back... he needed to get stronger... he needed to be able to more readily protect those that he cared for. Autumn was the privelege of the survivors, and the memory of those who past away before they made it through the conditions of summer. He thought about it on a deeper level.

What was he good at doing? Barrier Techniques. What else did he have the resources for? Mokuton. Were the two even compatible? He had no clue honestly. He could definitely try it later though if it ended up being a bust then he would simply give up on the idea. After all, the idea of a barrier technique using mokuton sounded weird conceptually... but it sounded plausible. Like a sort of field that he could control and mold more readily, yeah he liked the sound of that... but he had no earnest ideas as to how it would work. Turning back to the sweeping at hand he would look to the door to see the old man had returned, bowing in respect to his senior, "Welcome back Ojii-San, thank you for fetching the water for me."

Ichii had time to make some progress with the cleaning while the old man fetched the water. After a few minutes, the door opened again and the old man limped his way back into the store, carrying a large bucket of water. It was putting some serious effort to carry it, but there was a subtle yet proud smile on his face; he was happy he was still useful enough to provide some assistance to the young man kind enough to take on his menial mission.

He approached Ichii and placed the bucket near Ichii and chuckled lightly when he thanked him. "There's still some life left in these would muscles! Hehehehe!" he said. Then, with a short bow, the man started walking towards his small office at the end of the store. "Please let me know if you need anything else, Ichii-kun. And thank you again for your aid." the man said as he slowly made his way to the office, sitting on his chair and relaxing his sore muscles.

[attr="class","skullbody"]It was through absolute humility that human's showed their greatest love and compassion. The fruit's of one's labor was amplified by that of the effort that those around them showed, life was about the collective after all. The old man helping even with something as simple as the gathering off water made both of them feel fulfilled in more than one instance of it. Taking the water and ringing out the dirt from his wrang and then wringing out the water he would get to work again swiftly cleaning the ceiling of the entire building. Moving on rather easily to sweeping the rest of the floor, he would quickly make his way to wiping down and dusting the displays and the countertop making sure not to leave any dust on the window shutters that he had opened as well.

It wouldn't be too much longer before he had finished off what was left of the cleaning other than mopping the floor. Stretching for a moment he would roll up his sleeves and tie the off so his long, thinly-muscled arms he would begin to clear and memorize the location of the different displays to open the floor of the small building. PLanning to clean it the same fashion that he would clean the halls of his family home when he was asked to. Taking the rag that was moist he would get in position to the floor and rush forward to clean the floor then turn and go back. Continuing this process a few time until he again wrung out his rag.

『Harvest Moon's Child』
Ichi was born to the Nakahara clan on the night of a Harvest Moon. Born with quite the green thumb he was assumed to be an inheritor of the clan's natural talents with plants. The roots ran deeper, however, as Ichi was born with a Kekkai Genkai, being a rare natural occurance of Wood Release outside of the Senju. In learning of this he has trained his kekkai to the best of his abilities. He is no master, seeing as he has no reference of Mokuton, but he has found a way to bring out techniques along side his own talents in a cohesive manner.

Ichi was born with Mokuton, but he was not graced with the same level of chakra as the Senju would be in his situation. Being roughly average for an individual, Ichi instead focused on the skills his birth clan preferred. Practicing his medical skills, he has gained a higher quality of Chakra Control. Ichi is much less likely to leak chakra than the average shinobi because of this.

He had been at it with full effort for at least a good two hours and it already looked like a once more lively and lived in space than when he arrived. As he got close to finishing up the floor he would begin to get close to cleaning the last few things related to the store. His smile never leaving his face as he looked forward with silver eyes to the work he had finished. Moving outside he would begin to work on cleaning up the final bit of the puzzle that had yet to be completed. The sign to the shop that had yet to be finished in cleaning.

Wiping down the full board itself would reveal that the name for the shop had been 'Tatsuki's Antiques' a simple enough name for the store. Moving back inside he would begin to move things back into place, shifting objects here, arranging there, and within the items one would strike his fancy. An oddly shaped staff that seemed to beckon him over to it. Turning to the old man he would continue to look at the staff for a time before looking up.

"Ojii-San? What is this? It has a completely different look from the other weapons you seem to carry in your store," Ichi would asked curiously. Most of the things in here showed their age, yet this staff looked, more or less, untouched by the weathering of time. An earnest smile as he reached for his wallet, "How much could I buy this off you for? And please don't refuse our wonderful city is already about to pay me for the work I did here as much as I enjoyed it. I've never been to, or really seen, your store before today and I would love to be a customer!"

Ichii was doign a remarkable job with the store, and the old man couldn't be more pleased as he watched him from his small office in the back of the store. It was a lot of work, but the Genin did it seem like it was almost simple. At the end, when he was organising the items, he came across a rather interesting weapon. It was a Jo staff, a medium-sized weapon that is mainly used to fight against sword users. Quite versatile and dangerous on the hands of a trained individual.

Not surprisingly, the weapon caught Ichii's attention and he asked the man - Tatsuki - about it. The old man didn't respond right away. Instead, he slowly walked towards the place where Ichii was, and with a bittersweet smile on his face, he touched the weapon with his right hand for a second, struck it and let go. His eyes reached out to the boy's orbs. "This, young man, is a Shinobi weapon. I acquired it many, many years ago from a member of the Senju clan. Unfortunately it doesn't work unless you can use their wood powers. That being the case, I truly have no real use for it... I don't now how useful it could be for you, but I will give you a nice discount for all the hard work." he paused, scratching his chin. "Thirty-thousand ryo and it's yours." the man said.

A staunch businessmen, and a steal for an item that the old man had no clue Ichi could potentially use. Mokuton was a 'Senju' thing as far as anyone else was concerned, but where Ichi was concerned, it was of no consequence. He had the gift to use that which was considered to be only for the select few; a miracle child by all means. It was probably why his family had raised him to be more humble than boistrous.

Reaching into his yukata Ichi would shuffle his hand around looking for his wallet, the smile not leaving his face even as his heart sunk. He had apparently forgotten his wallet when he had come out here for the mission, "Consider the deal done, Ojii-San! I'll be by here in a bit to buy it though... I may have left my wallet back at my home. He he heh," Ichi would state awkwardly laughing as he rubbed the back of his head for a moment as his face turned red. Opening his eyes he would maneuver around the elderly gentlemen and finish putting everything away.
