Daisuke could feel his heart begin to pick up its pace at just the thought of such an encounter. A truly wild beast, and with Shigure's description, with power more than enough to match. Daisuke knew he was strong, and Shigure as well, but power like that was a rare thing, even in the world of shinobi.

"Well,” the young chuunin said, taking in a sharp breath through his nose. "I suppose we shouldn't just sit back and let that one slide.”

Shigure took the lead, his Byakugan lending him an advantage in such dim light, allowing the apprentice sage to follow shortly behind without too much trouble. They moved silently through the facility, and through the shadows, Daisuke could see the hulking mass of a beast that Shigure had mentioned earlier.

'Kami, he wasn't kidding.' He thought to himself, even feeling a strange pressure in the air around the creature. Stranger, though was that the creature had not seemed to notice them quite yet. All the others could see in the darkness down here quite well, which made him begin to think that perhaps this creature was not so adapted. Either that, or it was quite the opposite, not needing eyes in such a place, and relying on more enhanced senses. Assuming that was the case, Daisuke did his best to remain silent, despite a need to run a plan past Shigure.

The chuunin tapped his partner over the shoulder, doing his best to signal his intent to intercept the reature while Shigure could move in for the flank. Daisuke was good at taking the lead in situations like this, and with Shigure's speed and dexterity, it would be far easier for the Hyuuga to be the additional threat while Daisuke maintained the creatures focus.

Taking in a deep breath, Daisuke brought his hands together and entered a meditative state. His mind cleared as he focused on the beating of his heart, and the world around him. It took him time, unfortunately, to find any natural chakra around him. So deep under ground, so far away from the wind and the trees, it seemed he was at a disadvantage in such a place. But, he was able to at least get something.

He soon rose to his feet, sliding past Shigure before he stood proud, and brought his hands together for a loud thunderous clap.

His features began to shift, quickly changing to a far more feral appearance as he caught the attention of the creature. But before he could even get out a word, the creature moved, barrelling towards him with a speed that could almost rival the qauickness he had with the lightning chakra mode. The behemoth rammed into Daisuke, as he still remained motionless with his body changing to full enter sage mode, flinging him into the wall with an echoing thud. The stone wall cratered around him, his head bleeding, but the young sage was far from out quite yet.

Emerging from the rubble, Shigure would find Daisuke had taken on several aspects of the wolves of his contract. His hair grew long and black, his teeth jagged, ears pointed, while his arms had covered in fur with claws replacing his fingernails. But, despite the pain, the fire in his eyes was eager for a fight.

"Well FUCK YOU TOO, MONSTER!!” Daisuke yelled, barreling right back at the beast so Shigure could move in for a surprise attack.

"the hills also have a base". "No matter how many people you may lose, you have no choice but to go on living." ONE DOWN, TWO TO GO Indeed, the creature relied on other senses to have a perception of space. No eyes to be seen. It was such a foreign concept for someone who relied so much on his own eyes as Shigure, that he wondered how the creature would fight. The two made an effort to remain silent, and at least for the time being, it seemed like it hadn't perceived their presence just yet. Daisuke tried to communicate with Shigure, and the Hyuuga nodded; experienced as he was, he could easily recognize the simple gestures that were so important for the success of missions. "So he wants me to flank it. That works." he thought to himself. Daisuke would then meditate for a while, trying to find some natural energy, but Shigure couldn't see much of it with his Byakugan. "I guess since we are in an artificial facility deep underground, natural energy is not easy to come by." he theorized, but still, there was some, maybe from the underground water, or the tiny creatures that lived in the dirt. Once that was done, Daisuke used his Lightning Release Armour and darted towards the creature, facing it head on. Once he moved, making the noise of the crackling sparks of lightning, the creature immediately noticed him. "So it is guided by its ears..." Shigure confirmed, adjusting his body so he could move to flank the beast. Moving like a blur, Shigure closed in and used his Palm Bottom to hit the creature's heart. One of the three of them, and despite the attack being successful, it didn't seem to do much other than irritate it. Shigure's eyes widened as one of its tails came his way, prompting the Hyuuga to somersault back to avoid it. The moment it hit the ground, it created a small crater, a testament of its strengths. "It still has two more hearts!" he warned Daisuke. "It didn't even feels like I destroyed one of them!! This thing is tough!" he added, as he adjusted his stance so he could prepare another attack. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." As soon as Daisuke made his approach, his knee finally colliding with the hulking mass, his body was smashed into the ground under it's mighty claw. Daisuke couldn't help but let out a muffled cough, the wind getting knocked out of him as he collided with the cold stone floor.

'How the fuck is it so fast?' He wondered, a loud hiss escaping from the beasts maw. The young sage winced, pushing himself off the floor as Shigure moved in and got in a clean hit. His voice, though, caught the creatures attention and Daisuke would lose its focus. 'Two more?' He thought, 'Alright then. Got your wish, didn't you?'

"I'm not done with you yet, fucker!” Daisuke called out, and once more the beast would turn its attention to the new sound. Clearly, it made all of its movements based on what it could hear, even more evident as a tendril like limb reached out and slammed into the ground, the chuunin able to react in time to finally dodge the beast. That did give him an idea, however, and he hoped it would work.

"Shigure, quick, cover your ears!” Daisuke said, using the lightning release armor he had built up to push him yet again out of the way over another attack made towards him. With a deep inhale, Daisuke amplified his voice, a gravelled but penetratingly loud howl echoing all through out the chamber. Even covering his ears, Shigure still might be able to feel the waves of sound crushing into his ears. The behemoth howled with pain, its body recoiling as a neon slime began to drip from what Daisuke could only assume was the beasts ears.

"Gotcha,” he mumbled to himself, kicking off the ground throwing a powerful right hook straight for its center mass. His hand would crunch through the beasts flesh, and Daisuke felt a moment of panic as he pulled his arm back out of the hole he had created, only just remembering their blood was acidic. Thankfully, though, he was able to calm himself just as quickly, realizing that at least this one didn't seem to have that trait.

His efforts, though, would cause his necklace to begin to glow, the young sage immediately knowing what that meant. Despite his best efforts, he was hardly able to gain any natural chakra, and it seemed what little he had gathered had already been burnt up through the combination of the lightning armor and his howl. He let out a deep breath as his body shifted back to its normal state, the gemstone absorbing the energy that remained in his body.

DESCRIPTION:
A simple technique that can prove incredibly valuable in certain situations. The user will howl like a wolf, using natural chakra to amplify the volume of the sound. In doing so, the howl can be heard for miles, up to a distance of around five kilometers. While this can be used to signal others from a distance, the primary purpose of this technique is to create an ear shattering sound to temporarily deafen an opponent. While the user remains unaffected by the technique, anyone within a close proximity of a one hundred meter radius will suffer the effects of the technique. Typically, anyone who falls victim to the howl will hear nothing but a loud ringing in their ears for a brief duration normally lasting for about a minute or two (5 Posts) before returning back to normal.

DESCRIPTION:
The user wraps their body in a cloak of Raiton though not used offensively, the cloak is used to stimulate the users nervous system. Speeding up neural synapses to react faster, as well as pushing the users body to its absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed, a speed which makes even a one tomoe Sharingan user confused as to the user's whereabouts. The increase in speed comes with a great level of fatigue attached with it making this a jutsu best suited to be used when needed and not spammed throughout the entirety of a fight (though it can be used that way its highly dangerous). It is effectively an armor that surrounds the user allowing them to brush off and B-rank and below Raiton techniques and also C-rank and lower Physical attacks.

This jutsu improves on the basis of the Lighting Release Body Flicker and makes it a more longer lasting affect (2 rounds) with more more refined increases. But also much more costly price as over use in one fight could overexert the user causing the body to shut down in due to crippling pain.

Acts as an elongated Shunshin technique. The user can move at shunshin speeds with the above benefits for 2 rounds with one High usage of Chakra. This can be used four times total during a thread, each time tiring out the body of the user. After the fourth time, their muscles are completely deteriorated.

A SOUND VICTORY Yeah, the creature was fast, but it was also facing two extremely fast Shinobi, so it would not have an easy time, and although it did seem unfazed when Shigure took one of its hearts, the flow of chakra inside of it reduced slightly, meaning its body was weakened by the attack; they just had to keep on pushing forward, and eventually they would be able to take down the creature. Daisuke was determined to best the monster, and after dodging its advance, he warned Shigure to cover his ears, and the Hyuuga didn't even bother questioning, covering it with both hands while dodging yet another tail attack from the creature, which almost grazed him. And even though he had covered his ears, he still flinched at the intense sound that came from Daisuke. Still, the one who suffered the most from the attack was the creature, which relied on that sense to guide itself. Now that it was disoriented, they had the advantage in the fight. Daisuke was continuing the fight as Shigure came, circling behind the creature, the Twin Lion Fist flaring up around his arms as he focused on his main technique to assault the creature's back, not only destroying a fair amount of its chakra, but also damaging the remaining hearts it had, without having to pierce its flesh, thus avoiding the acidic blood. Thanks to Daisuke's crucial distraction and actions, Shigure was given the perfect opportunity to put down the creature for good. Things could've been much worse if it wasn't for the sage's fast thinking and sound attack. Once its body hit the floor, Shigure would sigh in relief. "That one was tough... But it is over now. Nice strategy there, Daisuke. It would've taken much longer otherwise." he admitted, giving his friend a smile and a thumbs-up. Now all they had to do was to collect the papers and leave the place, and their mission would be completed. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep." Daisuke couldn't help but feel fatigued as his relief that it was all over had set in. The lightning fizzled out of his body, and as the Natural chakra usage had alreay drained him enough, he was certainly feeling the aches in his body. Blood and sweat dripped from his brow. The chuunin placed a hand against his hip, wiping his forehead with the other before letting out a long, winded sigh.

"Well,” he said confidently between heavy breaths, "I guess I can't complain much. Got what I asked for. Please tell me there aren't any more of those things.” The young apprentice let out a small chuckle, his gaze meeting with Shigure's while he revealed a soft grin. Batter, bruised and bleeding, perhaps, but Daisuke was far from beaten.

His head soon turned, looking around the room for anything of value, being sure to bring any findings to Shigure for their report. While the Hyuuga wrapping things up, sealing away all vital information they could find, Daisuke took a moment to field dress his wounds. He wasn;t the greatest at it, but at least he could stop the bleeding and fight off any could-be infection.

While the two made their way toward the exit, Daisuke started counting on his fingers before he let out a small curse.

"Shit,” he said, head turning to Shigure with an aggitated look. "I guess dinner and drinks are on me.”

A JOB WELL DONE They were both relieved when the corpse of the monstrous creature hit the floor. Shigure scanned around the area with his Byakugan just to make sure they were in the clear before nodding to Daisuke. "They were indeed saving best for last... We are in the clear. I will just fetch the documents and we can get out of this place for good." he said as he walked over to the desk nearby, collecting all piles of documents and blueprints and pilling it up on top of one of his scrolls, before sealing it all away for ease of transportation. "Hikin Fuinjutsu!" Shigure exclaimed as he slammed his hand on his scroll, and then put it away in one of the pockets of his flak jacket. Once that was done, he nodded to Daisuke again and lead the way out of the cave, as there seemed to be an easier route from there. As they approached the exit, Daisuke suddenly realized that he had lost the bet, and Shigure chuckled softly, nodding a few times. "And you know what? I'm starving!" he further teased his friend. That was one more joint mission successfully concluded, and a problematic situation dealt with. He was proud, of both himself and his friend. "So what if it seems hopeless? If it were me, I still wouldn't give up. Embrace your dreams. And, whatever happens, protect your honour as a Shinobi, for the price of freedom is steep."
