Simple missions like this were a bit boring at times, but Kazuyuki found them to be decent pay for little risk, at least. He could safely be considered semi skilled for a chuunin, and the simple bandits that were the usual enemies on missions like these rarely posed a threat. However, today’s mission was one that had nearly made him burst out laughing in the missions office as he read over the details. He’d been chosen for a mission meant to foster inter-village relations. Kazuyuki, the same man who pranked anybody in sight and couldn’t take most things seriously.
Even so, he’d accepted. A mission was a mission, and this one wasn’t too much of a challenge, even working with an unknown like the unfamiliar Kumo genin he was to be working with. Her name wasn’t really known to him, nor did he particularly care to know. As long as she did her part and could tolerate his antics, she’d be fine by him!
Approaching their meeting spot, the chuunin smoothed out any wrinkles in his simple (but still quality made) robes and adjusted his hairpiece slightly. It wouldn’t do to make a bad impression on the first meeting! He could save souring any relations with his current mission partner for when they were actually fighting. He wasn’t naive enough to hope that she’d think highly of him after seeing how he could be, really. No matter, they were here to do a job, not socialize. Approaching the silver-haired woman he could only guess was his partner, he waited patiently, posture straight and perfect. ”Are you Azarea?”
