[Yagi Sairen]

The birds were chipping off in the distance, the breeze was now picking up a bit due to the weather dropping from the heat from the passed few days, and the light fog was now clear at this moment. The mist forrest was quite a location to witness, changing just like the seasons ever so slightly. Yagi was off of work today and decided to go out there and train by himself. He would stand at the center plain of the area and all around him were trees nearby, a grand size river that was close by, puddles here and there from the previous night of heavy rain. The smell of wet grass and lady bugs just roaming by were present. Yagi had arrived at his training spot and immediately began to pull out his ten kunais and began his training. Jumping up in the air, he would quickly toss all of them in different directions to the bull eyes that he had set up previously. Hitting at that exact moment, all of the kunais hit their target but one. He shook his head in disappointment. He would gather up his kunais and placing it back in his chest pocket of his flak jacket.

"Rather embarrassing..."

He then heard something brush up against his leg and lord and behold it, it was his friend mittens the cat who was now purring. Yagi would kneel down and pull out a can of tuna that he had just picked up from the store. Opening it up and giving it to the cat.

"I didn't forget about you today."

The cat would meow and started to eat the can of tuna as Yagi started to walk away and trying to find a better place to train since he didn't want to disturb the cat from eating.

Komatsuzaki Kiko the Shinigami of the Mist & Head of the waruichi clan It had been quite some time since Kiko had taken time to work on her skills. She had been dealing with clan issues for so long that she had almost forgotten she was a shinobi, yet here she was. Wet grass, puddles, and mud were often enough to keep the less enthusiastic away from the training grounds, but Kiko wasn't going to let such trivial things bother her. She had made her way out there and selected a spot she could have to herself - not that it mattered. Others would come eventually, and she'd have to share or leave. It was the way of things. It was something she had long accepted. But there were not many others around. There was only one she spotted. A young, white-haired man - probably about her age.  He seemed capable enough. His feats with the shuriken would have been the envy of many genin were they to see. But he did not seem pleased with his performance. Kiko could only imagine he sought perfection - an admirable, albeit foolish pursuit. His training was interrupted by a cat, which he provided food for. It was not something Kiko really cared for, so she turned away and began to prepare for her own training.

A casual raised brow and his arms folding across his chest as he saw the woman go about her training. It wasn't everyday that people would come wandering in this forrest for nothing. You either came here to train or came here to gather some resources. It looked like she wasn't here for resources and just strolling around these parts wasn't exactly safe since the wild animals and perhaps bandits could be lurking around these parts if one wasn't careful.

"Its been a while since I have ever seen anyone else around these parts of the forest."

He would often come here to train by himself and casually chuckled as he placed both his hands on his hips with excitement.

"How about a friendly sparing match huh, loser buys the winner a beer?"

He was use to making wages with his guard post comrades since they were use to trying to compete with the other in trying to out best them in order to get rid of the boredom they had to go through day by day. If she accepted this rather surprising and odd sparing match, Yagi would leap away from the woman and prepared himself to fight her. He wondered what would be her first move.....

Komatsuzaki Kiko Shinigami-chan, the true head of the waruichi clan Kiko had barely begun preparing for her training when someone started speaking to her. Silk had begun unraveling from within her kimono and pooling around her feet, but she had not really done anything yet. She turned to face the one who spoke, and though it took a moment, she did recognize him as one of the village's gate guards. "Sometimes, getting out of the village and further away is better," Kiko replied. "Not everyone comes out here so there is more space." Kiko considered his follow-up offer for a moment. She wasn't one to consume alcohol, but if she won then it wasn't like she had to take him up on his offer. She wasn't the type to feel compelled by competition, but understood that it was generally bad form to turn down such a challenge. She raised a hand and placed her fingertips to her chin, just below her bottom lip. "I can agree to that." Her silk rose from the ground and coiled around her, swirling like an ominous, living entity. She was a Waruichi, a well-known clan, and their leader to boot. She had a reputation. Kiko was the Shinigami of the Mist, the girl who killed hundreds during the civil war almost a decade ago. Most would not take her on lightly. "If you die, I shall take care of your corpse."

This woman was rather creepy than most with that last comment she had added. He had let out a sly chuckle and spoke towards her as he began to bring his arms underneath his robe and since his robe was concealing his hands, he was now able to open his chest pocket and pulling out two kunia, attaching one of his paper bombs tags on it, while the other one was just plain. He would close up his chest pocket and drop his arms. His arms were angle in a way where it would revealed that he had one kunai in his hand, but really he had two.

"As a gate guard for this village, I cannot die this young I am afraid. I have to get some wife and kids before that happens. I have served this village proudly over the years, so don't take me lightly now."

He would immediately rush towards her, analyzing her body was the first thing he did. She wore a robe just like him, but did she have any hidden weapons? He wondered as the thought ran across his mind and as he gotten within medium range of her, he would toss the first kunai towards her direction but purposefully missing her intentionally while throwing the second kunai with the paper bomb towards her and quickly activating the explosion as it got within close proximity of her face. He wondered what would happen after that and kept his distance from her, still not knowing what kind of fighter she was.

"Lets see how you fair..."

Komatsuzaki Kiko Shinigami-chan, the true head of the waruichi clan Kiko tipped her head to the left. He had armed himself with a kunai. Such a thing was rarely a threat to one of the Waruichi since their silk was more than capable of repelling such a simple weapon, but there were those out there that utilized them in conjunction with other techniques and could be troublesome. Kiko wasn't too concerned, though. "I shall not take you lightly," Kiko assured him. He charged. Most people didn't charge someone like her once they knew what she was capable of, but Kiko was under the impression he had no clue. Fortunately for him, he didn't commit fully to approaching, but threw his kunai instead. The first one didn't have the correct trajectory to hit her, so Kiko didn't pay it too much heed. The second, which she had not seen yet, was definitely intended for her. It wasn't just a kunai, though, it had some sort of tag with it. A common tactic of shinobi was to use kunai to propel explosive tags, but Kiko couldn't tell if that was what it was or not. Either way, she didn't want it to get too close. Her silk went into action. While it had previously swirled around her, it not rushed to meet the kunai and created a small bowl-shaped barrier between her and it, so when the explosion activated it was directed backwards. Unfortunately, much of the silk she used was damaged, so she let it drop to the ground to deal with it later. It was Kiko's turn, now. She performed several hand seals hidden inside the billowing sleeves of her kimono and summoned forth six massive needles which shot out and into the ground beside her. Several strands of silk wrapped around the center of each, and she utilized that to life two and flung them at him like javelins. There was a major difference between her needles and javelins, though. Javelins, once thrown, went to a particular point and that was it. Kiko's needles, however, were under the influence of her silk and had no such restrictions. They could change trajectory, following a target, and even change course entirely.  They were dangerous. Keeping his distance from her was going to become apparent, her technique involved thorns and he only knew the general knowledge of her clan. He kept his eyes on her silk and paid attention to when she was going to act. His eyes were like a literal recording device and his photographic memory recorded her six needles being shot into the ground. He kept his distance and immediately leaped into the air and being a near the river stream as he now stood on a medium branch tree and continued to watch to see what she would do. Most likely they would be coming out of the ground next and he immediately began to weave the needed hand seals for the job underneath his robe.


As the javelins were now coming out of the ground and was now flying towards him, water shurikens from the river would come forth, five of them attacking the first silk and the javelin, and the other five attacking the second silk and the javelin. Pinning them against the ground as he quickly made his way to another tree branch and using the entire bark of the tree as cover to completely hide him from the woman and immediately making the new set of hand signs. A water clone would now come forth as the left side of his water jug had now created the clone within seconds.  The clone would reveal itself and quickly began to rush the woman, pulling out a kunai and attempting to stab her in the chest. The real Yagi was still behind the tree and waited to see what the woman would do.
