Warutsu is small girl with rather striking features. Dark brown hair that matches well with her tanned skin and brown eyes. She is a rather lean girl with intricately packed muscles that are much more well defined than many other her age. She has incredibly thick brown hair that isn’t just atop her head, but also reaches down her arms, back, and legs in a fashion similar to thick rugs of fur. She also has a 70cm long tail, also covered in brown fur. Her hair is mostly short and spiky, she has long brown hair that covers the side of her face. Her ears are also overly large.
She usually wears black, skin tight pants that reach down to their ankles. It’s not often she wears an actual shirt, instead simply binding her chest with tight white binding tape. Often wearing a long sleeved red jacket with gold lining inside. On her head is also a golden headband that looks like her clan logo. A simple gold band that wraps into two separate circles in the middle. She rarely, if ever, wears shoes. PERSONALITY NINDO: Inside everyone is a dream, a vision, and a better version of themselves.
Still young, and yet somehow acting even younger than her actual age. She is a a rather childish person at the best of times, enjoying playing pranks and jokes on anyone she desires. Wether friend or foe she is likely to make constant quips and jokes at their expense. Though these jokes are usually more light hearted towards her friends, and more legitimate insults against enemies.
Beyond this initial appearance, Warutsu is a rather caring young woman. She likes to make others happy, she likes to protect people and keep them safe. She has an incredibly strong sense of Justice, and will follow her own morality above all else. The laws of the country she’s in be damned, if she thinks something is wrong she will do whatever she can to stop it.
She is an incredibly energetic, and with this comes a lot of impatience. She hates sitting around, she hates doing nothing. she always wants to be doing something wether it’s fighting, training, eating, or playing games with her friends. In this sense she has a rather easy time making friends. Her natural charisma tending to draw people into her. HISTORY Warutsu’s relation to the Yamazaru is through her mothers side. A young woman who didn’t work in the shinobi world, and didn’t live in a shinobi village, rather she lived in the outskirts of the land of fire, working primarily as a performer for a traveling cabaret. She had been a shinobi long ago, born in Konohagakure proper, but upon learning of her family history at a young age, she left the village and connected with the clan of monkeys the clan had been so close with. Not to be a shinobi, but simply to learn more about her past. She actually retired from shinobi life, making her home in a small town deep in Hi no Kuni’s mountain areas along the border. In her current life She was a dancer, and she caught the eye of a shinobi from the leaf. This led to the birth of Warutsu. Never knowing her father, growing up on the outskirts of the land of fire with his mother. The girls life was mostly quiet. Until his 10th birthday.
What should have been a day of celebration turned into a day of tragedy as a group of bandits attacked her small town. Many men and children were killed, many women captured. Warutsu’s mother, hearing the screams before they got to her home, hid her daughter underneath the floorboards, warning her not to make a sound. Warutsu only remembered hearing her mother saying to someone that they should send word to the girls father, Warutsu didn’t recognize the voice that responded.
She stayed sat in those floorboards for hours, the sun having long sense set and rose again before she emerged to find her town utterly destroyed. She was the only soul left. The bandits had left long ago, and the girl was alone. She searched through the wreckage for food and water, and eventually, something found her. High up the mountains of the Land of Fire, one could find a clan of monkeys. The Sarutobi clans protectors and companions. And they were who found Warutsu.
They took the girl in. The one who found her was a voice that Warutsu recognized, the voice her mother had been talking to the night before. He said he had been unable to contact the girls father, but that he and his family could protect the boy, teach her how to survive and protect herself. Warutsu learned the way of the ninja not from a traditional shinobi school, but rather her clans monkey friends.
The girl learned the way of the shinobi, and lived among these monkeys in the woods. By the time she was 13, she had begun to develop the characteristics of her clans Hijutsu, much to the joy of her monkey freights. She was even traveling, taking small jobs to earn her own way. Still close with the monkeys, but no longer necessarily their wards. These missions, small as they were, helped Warutsu continue to learn the ways of a shinobi. She learned how to fight, how to hunt, and how to survive. While never having an official teacher like many shinobi, she would grow her skills more and more. By the time she had turned 15 he was considered to be on par with your average chuunin. The monkey that had taken her in and protected her was older now, and passed away shortly after his birthday. But on its death bed it gave the young girl one name: Hatake Toshizou. FIGHTING STYLE Warutsu’s primary method of attack is her intense speed and agility. Moving around the battlefield with reckless abandon. She never stays in one place for long, seeing the best idea as always to attack from every angle possible. To this end she uses her long Quarterstaff primarily to enhance her movements. Using it to flip over opponents, quickly change direction in combat, or trip up an opponent to create an opportunity.
This doesn’t mean she doesn’t use the staff for offense as well. Keeping some distance from her target simply by virtue of how her weapon works. This also leads to her abundance of fire and air ninjutsu, which she will use to overwhelm an opponent whenever possible.
She also overwhelms opponents through the use of her clones and her summons, meaning that she can attack with multiple bodies at once. This allows for attacks from more angles, constant distractions, and attacks from multiple locations at once. All in an effort to confuse her opponent into making mistakes. Enhanced Agility
Living with monkeys for so long, Warutsu had to get fast, and had to learn to travel through the trees with them if she wanted any chance of keeping up. Swinging on vines and through trees, over time, leant itself to learning agile and swift combat. Quick shifts through combat are her bread and butter, allowing her to move faster than many of her peers.
Staff Fighter
Warutsu’s favorite weapon has always been her quarter staff, and has such she has spent a great deal of his time learning how to use the weapon as well as possible in combat. Much more than a stick, in her hands the weapon allows her better reach and mobility in combat. Able to use the weapon like a master.
Monkey Soul Trasnfer Technique
The signature Hijutsu of her clan, the Hijutsu took to Warutsu, meaning that when she hit puberty she began to develop the features of a monkey. These include her large ears, thick fur, and most notably her long tail. She is able to grab things with all four limbs, as well as with her tail. She also and incredible sense of balance brought on from the elegances surface area of her feet. And thanks to the incredible abundance of muscle fibers she has she also has an incredible amount of strength allowing her to stroke harder and lift things up to twice as heavy as herself.
