Another day, another mission.

Asuka woke up early, excited once again to take part in another mission. After her recent adventures with Azarea where she traveled to Hi no Kuni to spread the word about the complete banning of the use of the Hyuuga cursed seal on branch family members, she felt quite excited and motivated to take part in more missions. She enjoyed every part of the trip, from talking to Azarea, to actually delivering the message, and finally taking some of the poor branch family members with her back to the Konoha Hyuuga compounds. It was all pretty exciting, and despite the fact that she was kind of nervous acting on behalf of her clan, she somehow managed to complete it with the great help from her new friend. She realized that going on missions or volunteering for them was a sure fire way to meet new people. something that she had not had a chance to do for the past half a year.

The sun shining bright into her eyes while she quickly got dressed in her usual greyish beige hoodie with the Hyuuga clan insigna etched on the back and cargo pants, she strapped her weapon pouch to the left thigh, her headband to her left arm. She tied her hair tightly with a silk red sash, leaving two side bangs to cover most of the frame of her face. She thought she had a big face, or at least an extremely rounded one, so she always did her best to cover it with her hair as much as possible. Today, she had been told by one of her teachers at the academy that she was recommended to go on a mission with a tokujo, someone new. He told her that it was not every day that Genin could go on missions like these, and that it was because of her skills that made her stand out from the rest of the others.

And also the fact that she didn't have a team.

With the disappearance of her previous teacher which caused the ultimate disbanding of her squad, Asuka had been left to her own vices, primarily training under her father, Hyuuga Urashi. She was almost always confined in the clan compounds and focused all of her attention on learning Jyuuken techniques to become what her father would always call 'the plan b' for Shigure, in case her brother messed up one day or got himself killed, whichever came first. And for half a year that was how she lived, with almost no connection to the outside world. As a result, she learned quite a high ranking Jyuuken technique despite her age, being half pushed half coerced into doing so. Her life would have continued to be this way had it not been for her father's death, releasing her from the shackles of him forever so that she could be a normal shinobi again.

Now, as she awaited for her new team assignment, her academy teachers had taken pity on the girl, often recommending her to go on missions with others while she waited. It was all because she had become so secluded, so withdrawn that they feared she would lapse into some form of permanent depression without the right exposure to people. Of course, she didn't feel this way, but still appreciated their efforts. The waiting place was the gates, always the easiest and best spot. As Asuka walked down the main streets, she couldn't but think about this Tokujo, knowing nothing about them except their rank. Heck, she didn't even know if they were a guy or a girl! Hoping her partner would have been briefed a little bit more her, she would wait patiently, standing at the gates in quiet anticipation.

In recent times sea trade has become dangerous and merchant ships going from the land of Fire have been harassed and raided for their cargo by pirates. In order to secure the trade routes going towards their allies a teams of shinobi are sometimes assigned to protect the ships.

Tying the bandages tight over her left eye, the Kyōbō stared at the folders scattered on her desk. It honestly pissed her off that she had to deal with the Hyūga again. This time, it was a genin instead, one that she, unfortunately, learned about after her encounter with Shigure. It was his sister, an isolated genin named Asuka. Sayuki thought of remixing the genin teams but she didn't want to step on the leaders who picked out their genin teams. Her team organization skills were more apt for those of higher rank. However, she was considering the chance to do so. The young woman looked at the file she could gather from the information available to her. Sayuki sighed before she got up from her seat, gathering her shinobi gear before leaving the door.

Straightening her outfit, Sayuki used her fingers to comb her hair to its usual appearance. She didn't need too much. Sure, she was to look out for Asuka, yet, Sayuki wasn't concerned about her ability to protect the girl if a problem arises. She started her walk towards the village gates. Her violet eye looked around to find this small girl. She was looking specifically for the classic white eyes of the clan which weren't very hard to spot from a crowd. The young woman came closer and closer to the gates before seeing white eyes clashing with black hair. Sayuki let out a stressed sigh as she realized that she was actually working with a relative of someone she did not make the greatest impression of.

"Hyūga Asuka-san... is that you? Do you know who I am? I'm Kyōbō Sayuki, the Kunoichi assigned to assist you in this mission... Do you think you're ready for this mission?" The woman stated, looking at Asuka, acting confused but she knew much more than she let on. She simply wants the girl to figure it out on her own.

『Weaponized Chakra』
Sayuki's clan, the Kyōbō, grants all members a unique ability with chakra. It not only gives the aesthetic of violet chakra but said chakra can be weaponized. Meaning weapons can be formed by this, attacks/jutsus can be enhanced, or the chakra auras created literally bend to attack an opponent. This unique trait is enhanced mutually with anger and can be controlled if Sayuki control's her emotions, this is not a simple task. The more anger she has, the stronger (and feral) her attacks are, but of course, this makes her prone to lose her control. Sayuki is more attuned to great outbursts of anger, meaning her combat is more feral. These attributes, in essence, makes her a true berserker.

『Kyōbō Chakra Pool』
Along with weaponized chakra as part of his clan KKG, Sayuki's body is naturally attuned to having a large chakra pool that enables her to utilize more Ninjutsu-based attacks. This significantly larger pool comes at a hefty price. While S is quite capable of having good control, he is in no way refined, having slight leakage after casting jutsu, like not turning a faucet completely off, drops of water leaking. This is what happens with his chakra. In no way is it as large as a jinchuuriki, the pool is significantly larger than shinobi at his current skill level.

『Wrath of Kyōbō』
Coming from the feral branch of the enraged Kyōbō clan, Sayuki had to quickly learn how to weaponize her normally uncontrollable anger. With discipline and intention paved and clear, Sayuki has adopted a masterful state of combat. By focusing the very Kyōbō rage in her blood, the girl can use her emotions as a boost to her combat prowess. With this ability, her emotive combat strength stands equivalent to the power of those dedicated in Taijutsu of similar rank (Strength Bump to Tai Primary). This power boon steadily grows relative to Sayuki's base skill. Thus allowing the Kyōbō's rage to truly turn into a weapon much like her clan ability demands. (Requires Limit Breaker [Rimittoburēkā] to be continuously active)

『Beaten Brawler』
Over the years of excruciating torture, and years of pushing her body to its very limits, Sayuki has adapted to withstand even harder wounds and attacks with little reaction. The girl has fought tirelessly and taken blow after blow to further enhance her body and harden her conviction. These stressors on her body have also awakened an undying light, a spark to keep her fighting even when her body falters. Her rage and anger keep her focused on her goal while her body focuses on keeping itself strong enough to achieve her goal. (Split SA of Endurance|Resilence)

To say that she was awestruck by the beauty of the woman who now walked towards her at the village gates was no understatement.

The woman was beautiful, despite having one of her eyes in a bandage, the other was a bright and mesmerizing purple. Even as she stopped in front of Asuka, asking if she was indeed the Hyuuga she was looking her, the girl would take a few seconds before she could nod her head. Having been confined to the Hyuuga clan grounds had its merits and demerits, one such demerits was her inability to engage with the outside world, including those who had past relationships or dealings with any one from the main house. And so, unaware that the woman knew of or had interacted with Shigure before, Asuka only saw her as a very beautiful lady, a lady that perhaps she wanted to become in the future. "Yes, I'm Hyuuga Asuka! Nice to meet you!" She would bow her head, as a genin would to a tokujo to respect.

It wouldn't go unnoticed that the woman was blunt in the way she spoke though, carrying much of her father's tone in her words. "I was only briefed that this was a mission to protect trade ships going in and out of Hi no Kuni." The girl was truthful, following her words by admitting meekly that this was the only information she really knew. Glancing at Sayuki, she would continue to speak, in a slightly whispered tone. "Is there anything else you could tell me about this mission?" She hated not being well-informed especially when she was working with other people. It made her look silly or simply stupid, two things that she and any Hyuuga were not.

While she waited for Sayuki's reply, the girl would continue to marvel at the woman, trying to make it not too obvious that she was doing so. She had possibly done the same with Azarea, although their beauties were different. She also couldn't help but wonder what happened to the other's eye, why it was bandaged, but decided to not ask any questions. If they proved to be able to strike a connection and become close by the end of the mission, she would perhaps ask, but Asuka knew full well how weird and disrespectful it could be to ask something personal when they just met.

Sayuki was watching as the girl seemed mesmerized before nodding her head in response to being questioned if she was Hyūga Asuka. The young woman simply found the pause odd. It was a little longer than confusion but a little slower than captivation. A subtle nuance the Kyōbō picked up on, and while she was a touch slower than others being social, one of the biggest ways her branch conversed was nonverbally, she was observant only in that department. Watching as the girl bowed to her, it occurred to Sayuki that she hadn't done so back, the woman just waited for the girl to rise and speak what she knew of and inquired about what she didn't know, Sayuki made a silent bow. Rising up quickly, she folded arms atop each other. "Asuka-san, this is a high rank mission for your rank, but we'd only send the best to tackle things greater than themselves. Take a minute to think, Hi no Kuni trade ships, one of the greatest nations having cargo plundered by supposed pirates. While it might be our land, obviously they can either outnumber our crews or overpower them. That alone should show the level our opposition is on and attacking at sea is not a simple feat, assume the worst. Expect to see our crews doing nothing to remedy this and always assume an attack. Just because our opponents seem to be on strong sea legs, even fish learned to walk on land, and become dangerous creatures." Sayuki simply gestured her head to the side, outside the gates.

She began turning to walk outside and down the eastern path. "We'll be following a river to Port city, it is a very long walk, do not waste your energy rushing, a persistinant problem will always be there until dealt with." The young woman could arguably get there in hours if she was by her lonesome. But watching over a kid, she didn't know how much energy she had, obviously, given the nature of their mission. She didn't want to tire her ally out before they even got going. Rushing was one of the furthest things in Sayuki's mind, it was matching the girl's pace that was far more relevant. She stopped before looking at Asuka. "It is your mission, lead like it." Sayuki waited for the girl to move so that she may follow. Again, being of superior rank, it would make sense for her to lead, but, she wasn't soft like any Genin leader. Exactly as Tomomi stated behind closed doors, she removed the human element of her team composing, and that reached out to everyone even those not in teams.

Which was complex for training this kid to be better than their best. If Asuka was using her Byakugan, since those white-eyed individuals are hard to notice even after living in Konoha this long, she would notice a peculiarity even within her chakra network. It wasn't the blue of everyone else, it was as violet as her eyes.

Asuka would quickly realize that there was something different about Sayuki than the other shinobi she had met before. Of course, she didn't mean the chakra difference, as she had not activated her Byakugan, but more of a personality difference. Sayuki was blunt, if that was the right word describe it. Her words carried no softness and yet seemed to give so much knowledge. Her previous teacher had not been this way, a little too emotional when it came to fostering and training his own team. In a way, Asuka had been lucky, sheltered from harm's way and from everything in general under the progection of her teacher. It was not a secret that he had received orders likely from her father, asking that his daughter not be put in harm's way. And the man obliged, resulting in her doing nothing despite being in a three-man cell.

She prayed that her next team, if ever there was one, would be different.

The Hyuuga listened to what Sayuki said, about anticipating that there was always going to be an attack or an obstacle regardless of what mission it was. Perhaps this was more so the case given their mission this time being on a ship. Slightly embarrassed by her own inexperience in taking on missions altogether, the girl would be more than surprised when her partner suggested that she take the lead. Was she capable? No doubt. Did she necessarily want to? No. But it seemed that it was not up for negotiation as Sayuki move to the side, allowing the girl to take the lead. While the walked in silence for a few minutes, Asuka thought about the pirates raiding the trade ships that were supposed to contain some of the most important exports to other countries. Although she wasn't entirely confident in her ability to lead, she was grateful to her partner for giving her the chance. She remembered how in her team, she was always sidelined, always just one following her other teammates and how much she had despised that.

"I have perhaps...missed your name?" The young girl would look at the woman shyly, noticing that she hadn't caught her name during the introduction phase. "This is my second mission ever but I'm very excited to take these pirates on once and for all." Persistent problems, while not entirely urgent, were pet peeves to Asuka. She wanted things to be done quickly and correctly, perhaps taken from her deceased father. The two would walk down the road, the Hyuuga mindful of their pace. She didn't want to be too slow, so as not to slow down the momentum. All the while, she became increasingly curious of this woman behind her.

[Kyōbō Sayuki]

Getting closer and closer to the village barrier, Sayuki immediately started to scan her environment slowly. She carried a certain grace in her walk, complimented with a hint of confidence. Sayuki was no stranger to being proud nor confident, but as Asuka led them out of the village barrier, the woman's stoic and relaxed expression carried a hint of caution and anger. An inkling of thought was that her clan was responsible for this which would make this physically difficult and emotionally for Sayuki. She mentally started a counter regarding how long it'll take them, or rather, how long until this girl just stopped from exhaustion. It wasn't a negative she saw, it was simply an observation how her teammate would fare. On that Sayuki felt comfortable watching and noting. Knowing the team's strengths and weaknesses where pivotal for success in team missions.

Then it hit her harder than a heavy bat swing to Sayuki's face; Asuka asking her to repeat her name. The young woman merely closed her eyes and let out a slow sigh. Don't snap at the kid, don't snap at the kid, don't you dare snap at the kid. All Sayuki wanted to do is shout at Asuka for forgetting the piece of info integral for coordination, how much she wanted to tear into Asuka for forgetting a name. But she didn't, Sayuki just opened her eyes as she stared at the girl. "My name is Kyōbō Sayuki. Clan name is Kyōbō, but they aren't a part of the village and earnestly hate it. There is a good chance we may run into them... don't hold back... they won't." It was calm, completely casual statement for Sayuki. She lost all semblance of forgiveness when they marked her for death and called her a traitor. As if traitor wasn't enough. "I'm glad you're excited to be taking this mission, it is becoming more rare to find Genin with both the motivation and skill you have, it's refreshing." Sayuki returned her gaze to continue watching their surroundings.

"Is all you can do is Taijutsu, or do you have other aces up your sleeve, I don't know how fist-fighting a ship will go." Sayuki stated. She knew their close-quarter prowess was great but... how was Asuka's ninjutsu set. Trade ships normally don't have much aside from rams and jutsu users. But given most trade is done by civilians... Sayuki wanted the best preparation she could have if they were forced into naval combat.

Meaning weapons can be formed by this, attacks/jutsus can be enhanced, or the chakra auras created literally bend to attack an opponent. This unique trait is enhanced mutually with anger and can be controlled if Sayuki control's her emotions, this is not a simple task. The more anger she has, the stronger (and feral) her attacks are, but of course, this makes her prone to lose her control. Sayuki is more attuned to great outbursts of anger, meaning her combat is more feral. These attributes, in essence, makes her a true berserker.

Along with weaponized chakra as part of her clan's KKG, Sayuki's body is naturally attuned to having a large chakra pool that enables her to utilize more Ninjutsu-based attacks. This significantly larger pool comes at a hefty price. While Sayuki is quite capable of having good control, she is in no way refined, having slight leakage after casting jutsu, like not turning a faucet completely off, drops of water leaking. This is what happens with her chakra. In no way is it as large as a jinchuuriki, the pool is significantly larger than shinobi at her current skill level.

Asuka wasn't oblivious to the sigh that Sayuki gave. It was true that perhaps the other woman had given her her name and clan information only moments ago, and it was entirely her own fault for having her thoughts wander as they did when she was supposed to be respectful especially when it came to self-introductions. She chided herself for this very fact, the words of her father ringing in her head, telling her to always remember that she was representing the Hyuuga clan in everything she did and didn't do. Kyobo, Sakyuki...from the Kyobo clan...she had heard only a little about the clan and the mere fact that her companion would go on to warn her that her clan people were not part of the village and that they were likely to encounter them at any given point.

Confused, she wondered if she should ask questions, if Sayuki was even the type to entertain them. After a moment's thought, she decided that questions were indeed necessary, at least for the young and curious like Asuka. She was after all unlike a lot of the other Genin in her village, and having been restricted in her involvement in shinobi activities had taught her little about the already rather confusing and fascinating world. "You say that that if we have a chance of running into your clan members to not hold back...what do you mean? I don't suppose they are bad people that would harm the innocent?" In truth, she knew nothing about the Kyobo clan, and knew that this was probably her only opportunity to hear from a clan member herself about the ins and outs of the clan. She couldn't pass on knowledge, it was too alluring.

"To answer your question, I just recently started dabbing into Ninjutsu. My natural element is Suiton. In the past few years, or at least from as long as I can remember, I've practiced Jyuuken with my father, and in short simply pushed all other training to the side..." her voice trailed, her eyes avoiding Sayuki's all together. Despite being extremely proud of her own clan and kekkei genkai, she was not at all proud of the fact that she had be fostered into only needing to learn her own clan jutsu, and that everything seemed unimportant and unworthy of the Hyuugan's time. She had wanted to learn more ninjutsu, found this specialty endless in possibility. After another brief pause, the girl would look back at Sayuki, asking her about her skill set. "What about you? Are you a taijutsu specialist too?"

Sayuki was beginning to wonder why she agreed to take on this mission, it only just dawned on her the detail they'll be doing. But as much as she hated taking part in it, she was supposed to be watching this kid, not leaving them to take care of it. She was thinking of strategies she could use, blindfolds and earmuffs could work if she didn't need to aim jutsu or be on guard but she did so the woman needed to think of a different plan. She could always just tell Asuka to drag her out of hiding, but how well would that work? Maybe someone had really strong anxiety pills? She could have Asuka figure out something too. She inquired about Sayuki's clan and the woman noted it. "I'm a traitor and marked for death for killing my attacker my cousin, and for joining Konoha. The clan participates in an annual attack or purge on any random town. Treat them with no mercy, they are ferocious, but they all have a pretty stupid weakness to anything that makes them freeze up, panic, attacking anyone near them. You name it. But, they are known to attack people out of the blue because they can't control their rage, something I still struggle with, that and the fear of water."

Sayuki looked at the road ahead, already wondering how far they have went. The topic of her capabilities was next and Sayuki just listened to what she was told. "All the more reason for you to figure out how to help me." She stated, noting what she has practiced and personally finding all of it useless. After some silence, she inquired about Sayuki's talents, and she just remained silent. "Ninjutsu, some genjutsu. I can make up what you lack, so much that you'll benefit if you can calm me. Close to mid-range Ninjutsu is my ace, Raiton and Fūton, still need to work up my Katon. We can probably move a bit faster, get there faster, maybe you figured out a way. I know it seems odd and I don't doubt your ability to defend yourself, but my point stands, what are you going to do? Punch a ship?"

Could her delivery be nicer? Most definitely but now wasn't really time for that. If anything, she hoped she got through to Asuka. Let it known how she needs her more than she realized because again, what good is a punch against a ship?

Coming from the feral branch of the enraged Kyōbō clan, Sayuki had to quickly learn how to weaponize her normally uncontrollable anger. With discipline and intention paved and clear, Sayuki has adopted a masterful state of combat. By focusing the very Kyōbō rage in her blood, the girl can use her emotions as a boost to her combat prowess. With this ability, her emotive combat strength stands equivalent to the power of those dedicated in Taijutsu of similar rank (Strength Bump to Tai Primary). This power boon steadily grows relative to Sayuki's base skill. Thus allowing the Kyōbō's rage to truly turn into a weapon much like her clan ability demands. (Requires Limit Breaker [Rimittoburēkā] to be continuously active)

Did Asuka dislike Sayuki? No. Did she think the woman was at least a little nasty? Absolutely.

But there was one thing that her father had taught her, through just being in his presence; it was that there were always going to be people who were mean on the outside. Although her father was perhaps a mean person through and through, she didn't doubt that at some point in his interactions with her that he had somewhat of a softer heart. And so, despite the harshness of the woman's words as she challenged Asuka's abilities, the girl simply took it like she was dealing with her father, or at least a representation of him. It was hard to imagine that she wouldn't feel any type of timid, or at least a little offended by the bluntness that Sayuki seemed to love, but being from a clan which had its rough edges inside and out, she was not unaccustomed to this at all. They were very valid questions, though straightforward. She thought for a moment, thinking about how her kekkei genkai could possibly help them in this situation.

"To be honest, I never thought about punching any ship. In fact, I never thought about destroying the ship itself. We're looking for those who are disrupting the peace of a ship, aren't we? In that case, I am almost certain that you and I are perfectly capable to take them on. As for the ship..." she reflected, wondering if blowing up ships were ideal. "I'd rather keep the ship intact if possible." Her thoughts wandered though, Sayuki's questions sparked a bit of an interest that she hadn't had.

The girl was somewhat confused as Sayuki spoke more about her clan and about herself. None of what she spoke made a lot of sense, especially the parts about everyone in her clan supposedly having a weakness that made them...for lack of a better term, useless, when weakness hit. But there wasn't much else that the woman would provide, which gave the mystery aspect a little more ambiguity than she would have liked. "W-What do you mean by...freeze up, panic and attacking people? What triggers you, Sayuki-san?"

Silence followed her last words, it was nice. It meant the Genin was letting the words soak in, at least, that was her hope. Though, the silence was interrupted by the noise Asuka produced. The fact she was talking. Sayuki turned to her and immediately, she drew the eye of Sayuki as she gave the attention the girl presumably deserved. She was glad in some way that Asuka didn't plan on punching a ship. That she'd preferred them intact if possible, an answer Sayuki merely nodded to. That was a step in the right direction.

Asuka then made a strange question. Strange to Sayuki, she thought she broken it down enough but apparently not. She moved just a little closer, enough to put a hand on the girl's shoulder, gently stopping her to get her full attention before crouching ever so slightly. "As ridiculous as it sounds, every Kyōbō has something we call Fatal Flaws. These are fears so stong that our adrenaline gives us only two options, hide or run. We can't control them nor rehabilitate them. These are engrained in our very being. Some Kyōbō share a Fatal Flaw of fire. This common fear tends to make the Kyōbō freeze up in terror. Which can usually kill them even or but them at fatal risk because once they freeze, most just stop moving entirely, not even trying to run. The same goes for certain sounds or smells." She paused to let the answer soak in, a warm half smile on her face which was really an odd thing to be smiling about.

Sayuki nodded her head after a couple of seconds, "Mine is large bodies of water. So much so, I take only sponge baths. When I'm alone, I freeze up, terrified to even move closer. When not alone, I tend to panic, punching and kicking anyone, terrified they might try to drown me. Basically PTSD on steroids. This is why I ask you to either knock sense into me or relax me enough that I can't enter that state. I'm probably not the only one but you can see how that fear could kill me." A little more serious in her expression but her voice was oddly soft. She patted Asuka's shoulder, "I'm sure you'll figure something out, you're a bright kid, now come on, don't wanna be too late."

She gave another half smile before her expression dropped back to its familiar sight. Rising to her feat, the woman began walking.

Asuka listened intently, falling quiet as she heard Sayuki explain about the flaw of the Kyobo clan, or perhaps the flaw its members all seemed to share. It fascinated the Hyuuga to learn that there was a flaw like what was presented to her that was so rippling, and could really kill a person indirectly. For, if a person ceased to even run away when terror struck, then the possibility of them being killed by either the terror itself or a person wielding the terror was certainly not out of the question. For a good moment she fell silent, trying to choose her words carefully as the information sunk into her head. "I see..." she whispered, her expression thoughtful. "That can be quire compelling, the fatal flaw, I mean. I can't imagine what that terror would feel like."

The girl's eyes widened slightly as she heard about Sayuki's weakness, or flaw. Wait...she was afraid of large bodies of water? But...but the mission involved a large body of water! And then it dawned on Asuka that this was perhaps the reason the woman had asked her about punching ships earlier. Did she understand or perhaps anticipated that she would be out of commission because of this flaw she had? "Um...does that mean...you're not going to be able to be of aid on this mission?" It was an honest question that begged an honest answer. She wanted to know what she would have to do in the case that Sayuki did become terrorized to the point of not only not being able to be of help, but to actually hinder the progression. "Are you...going to be okay?"

[Kyōbō Sayuki]

The young woman allowed Asuka the chance to fully digest the words she was saying to her. She intellectually digested Sayuki's words and internalized them, really thinking of an answer to use as a way to show she was actively listening. Even if Sayuki was giving Asuka the keys to fight off her kin should they attack, she wanted her to understand and know that Sayuki's flaw was pretty deep. Especially if one really noted what mission they were on.

As Sayuki consider it open and shut, it was very much like Asuka wasn't listening. Her questions were educated and fair. Sayuki let out a quiet sigh though, she wanted to just punch sense into the kid. She looked to Asuka, "Out of commission... as long as you do the things I asked, possibly not. It's not a guarantee. Ear plugs and a blindfold should do, again as long as you'll help." Sayuki heard a faint rustle in the foliage, pausing her words. After a brief period of scanning the environment, she turned back to Asuka. "I told you the secret and gave you the answers, if you can figure out the rest, that'd be great." The forest they were in seemed to howl as the faintest of wind blows. "Of all the lives to be concerned about, mine is not one of them. Help me as you see fit, or don't and see what happens."

The Kyōbō woman stopped moving, gesturing Asuka to do the same. Sayuki thought she caught a glimpse of white hair - or better, white fur - "Either we're close of we took too long." Sayuki stated in a cold and calculated tone. She remained quiet moments after the rustling died and the woman nodded. "Remember how I said save your energy and don't run, yeah, we should really get going. Port City, east, well east southeast." Sauki looked at Asuka, gesturing her head in the direction. Getting herself ready to jump.

『Weaponized Chakra』
Sayuki's clan, the Kyōbō, grants all members a unique ability with chakra. It not only gives the aesthetic of violet chakra but said chakra can be weaponized. Meaning weapons can be formed by this, attacks/jutsus can be enhanced, or the chakra auras created literally bend to attack an opponent. This unique trait is enhanced mutually with anger and can be controlled if Sayuki control's her emotions, this is not a simple task. The more anger she has, the stronger (and feral) her attacks are, but of course, this makes her prone to lose her control. Sayuki is more attuned to great outbursts of anger, meaning her combat is more feral. These attributes, in essence, makes her a true berserker.

『Kyōbō Chakra Pool』
Along with weaponized chakra as part of her clan's KKG, Sayuki's body is naturally attuned to having a large chakra pool that enables her to utilize more Ninjutsu-based attacks. This significantly larger pool comes at a hefty price. While Sayuki is quite capable of having good control, she is in no way refined, having slight leakage after casting jutsu, like not turning a faucet completely off, drops of water leaking. This is what happens with her chakra. In no way is it as large as a jinchuuriki, the pool is significantly larger than shinobi at her current skill level.

『Wrath of Kyōbō』
Coming from the feral branch of the enraged Kyōbō clan, Sayuki had to quickly learn how to weaponize her normally uncontrollable anger. With discipline and intention paved and clear, Sayuki has adopted a masterful state of combat. By focusing the very Kyōbō rage in her blood, the girl can use her emotions as a boost to her combat prowess. With this ability, her emotive combat strength stands equivalent to the power of those dedicated in Taijutsu of similar rank (Strength Bump to Tai Primary). This power boon steadily grows relative to Sayuki's base skill. Thus allowing the Kyōbō's rage to truly turn into a weapon much like her clan ability demands. (Requires Limit Breaker [Rimittoburēkā] to be continuously active)

『Beaten Brawler』
Over the years of excruciating torture, and years of pushing her body to its very limits, Sayuki has adapted to withstand even harder wounds and attacks with little reaction. The girl has fought tirelessly and taken blow after blow to further enhance her body and harden her conviction. These stressors on her body have also awakened an undying light, a spark to keep her fighting even when her body falters. Her rage and anger keep her focused on her goal while her body focuses on keeping itself strong enough to achieve her goal. (Split SA of Endurance|Resilence)

No matter how many times and how long she spent with Sayuki, Asuka knew deep down that she would and probably could never get used to the way the other woman spoke. It wasn't even that she was really rude, for rudeness was just too much to ignore, but rather that she was just so blunt that it was scary. And she also could feel that perhaps there was a lack of feeling, of emotion behind the woman's words, which matched with her lack of facial expression, seemed right enough. Right and somewhat scary, she thought to herself even as she listened. The words Sayuki spoke made sense linguistically, but didn't make sense to her logically. Was she trying to say that she had a choice of helping or not helping on a mission that was supposed to be a team effort? Regardless, she felt her head start to hurt just by trying to decipher the hidden meanings behind simple words, something she had not had to do ever in her encounters with others.

To say that Sayuki was special was an understatement.

And then the woman would halt her footsteps, demanding silently for the girl to do the same. Of course, Asuka obliged, her own senses heightening as she recognized the difference in demeanor from Sayuki. What was wrong? Although her senses were not as acute and on point as that of the other woman, she thought perhaps if she concentrated enough she would be able to sense what was wrong before seeing or hearing it. When that seemed to fail, Asuka would resort to simply running towards the target in question, the woman's words about conserving their energy have paid off. She could tell that Port City was not far from where they were, and that if they hurried, perhaps the worst could be averted, whatever the worst could be. She dashed forward, knowing that Sayuki would be able to, if not already would, surpass her. In fact, Asuka counted on the woman to lead the way, all the while keeping her eyes peeled for what was to come.

The closer the were, the more dreaded the feeling became...
