Though such a feat was partially impossible for a snake, the creature was known for being outside of the ordinary, in more ways than simply his ability to communicate in human tongue. Still, in hearing the girl's mid-sentence contribution, the small snake would tilt it's body slightly before then responding to her statement. "Good thing ya got other means then huh?" Though his statement was a bit cryptic, it was clear that he knew more than what he was saying. Of course, it wasn't hard to tell that Miroru had a bit of a demonic aura to her, despite her more friendly nature being on display. In the end, it wasn't his place to judge, as he was currently playing teacher. Not that there was much for him to display, aside from acting as a Natural Chakra detector. Raising her brow, the older female would blink as the girl asked if she could learn more about the strengths to Natural Chakra. "I can only tell you so much dear...while I may have experience with Senjutsu...the far reaching impact of it's applications to the physical body and it's changes are best left to a Sage..." Shrugging her shoulders, Miho would then smile briefly as she then released a breath. "Though I will say that the generalized version of those facts aren't very off from the truth...which while I can see why you wish to learn and hopefully spread knowledge of it's quality...I could not in good conscience share everything with you...out of respect to my own teacher...and their wishes..." It wasn't as if Miho was trying to back the girl into a corner, but there were many secrets that were meant to be left to that of an apprentice, and the clan in which they were kept. Miroru smiled to herself to hear Mairusu confirm he had no intentions of backing down or backing out. She liked that sorta resolve, and loved to see it in her- comrades? Classmates? Not classmates anymore. Well, whatever they were. "You got this, Hiesin-san!" she cheered quietly, avoiding waking up the bebes.

She wasn't quite so cucumber-cool with that darn snake when he got lippy! It was all she could do to sputter silently and wave frantically at the snake to shuddup! "Ahaha, yep, got all sortsa means ahead of me, sure do, good call!"

As for Miho's response, she rolled over and looked at the older girl upside down, chewing on a piece of grass. "Oh, that's okay. I don't need like. Details. I dunno how to use it, so really, all I'd wanna know would be like. Enough to SOUND like I know what I'm talking about. I don't gotta actually have more than half a clue." She did roll upright and frown, puzzled, at the next bit.

"No, I can't manage Nature Chakra, I'm not aiming to, I'm just- it could be useful to PRETEND to be a Sage to keep some of my more personal tricks less notable and suspect. Lots of folx would side-eye some of my tricks in a vacuum, but if they thought it was mysterious sage magic... see what I mean? If I pretended to be a Fox Sage, it'd be like a smokescreen to everyone but... like, actual Sages."

With his commitment affirmed the snake saw fit to get the boy moving a bit more in his practice, instructing him to try drawing out more natural chakra while picking up his walking pace. The prospect was a little daunting but becoming more comfortable with the process was necessary. "Right." The boy replied as his slow gate would slowly increase to what one could say was a normal walking speed all while maintaining focus in pulling natural chakra from the surrounding area. A particular thicket of trees was bounding with the energy causing the genin to focus his efforts there as he tried to draw in from that pool.

The constant flow of natural chakra was causing some interesting effects in the boy and he felt himself being able to perceive things farther and farther away, not with any kind of defined clarity, but he was getting a hazy outline of stuff outside of the park which was wild. Was this some of the power that Saged held? To know what was going on around him through the flow of nature? Crazy. "This might sound weird but I can kinda see what's happening way off in the distance. Not like see it see it, but I got a feel for it. Is that normal with sage stuff?" Mairusu asked.

If the answer happened to be yes then it would serve to only make the boy that much more invested and for a moment he wondered what kind of effects natural chakra would have on his jutsu? Raiton was already strong but being powered by natural chakra seemed like another level; maybe he'd be able to toss a lightning bolt halfway across the country or something.

The clarfication helped, but in truth, she imagined that it would be challenging to even pretend to be one even if the girl held more knowledge. But Miho also didn't want to discourage the idea of wishing to adopt a different approach when explaining her abilities to others. It wasn't just for the village's safety, but her own as well. Honestly, she didn't know much about the last Jinchuuriki, but she was a far more practical woman to say the least. If anything, she didn't hide her abilities from anyone. "Hmmm...well...I can tell you that Sages are attune to more than just chakra...they are capable of manipulating it and altering it's usage to their benefit in other ways. This is usually done through taking on attributes of the very creatures they have bonded with..." Miho would lean in as she smiled at her. "Much like how a snake can move through the grass with little movement detection, a Sage can learn to be just as invisible in leaving their imprint upon the ground. This also goes along with their sense of awareness in relation to their targets...each creature...gives the Sage a different approach through many of their talents and skills..." In saying this, Miho would then gently stroke the hair of her children, releasing a soft breath as she continued to speak. Miho was right, it WOULD be challenging to pretend to be a sage... around anyone who knew enough about the intricacies and universalities of sages to recognize that her tricks weren't really what she claimed. But from Miroru's perspective, how many people did that really encompass?

Not THAT many, to be sure.

"Hrm. I think the biggest wonder I have is, if and when I run into someone who knows better, it'll immediately beg the question of why I'm lying. And maybe I can get away with saying I just liked the idea, but then there's the issue that I DO have special powers. So it's not like I'm just some kid playing pretend." Miroru pondered a few moments. "But then, lotsa people have powers. So maybe it's not really that big a deal..."

The redhead wriggled up to her feet and looked over Mairusu in his concentration on his Sage training and odd sensing. The more she heard, the more she suspected she should slip away before he noticed something he wasn't supposed to.

"Well~ I should get back over to Hatake-sama's place for our next training session. I'll keep those ideas in mind- maybe the Fox Sage idea isn't off the table just yet! Thanks for letting me hang out with you two- er, three!- and the babies!"

A quick wave, and Miroru hustled off, hoping that Mairusu wouldn't notice anything. She was pretty sure you needed super sharp senses like sage animals or the Kagura's whatchacallit to peek deep enough to see anything, but best to be sure...

Listening to the snake expound upon what Mairusu was 'seeing' only served to make the boy more excited for what was yet to come. He vaguely knew of sensors and how they could detect chakra signatures over super long distances but the chakra control it required just wasn't something he had, but this was different; he wasn't detecting chakra he was detecting life itself! Of course anything out of his immediate vicinity wasn't defined in the least but he knew something was there. It was probably for the best that he couldn't sense things that far out for fear of being overloaded and possibly going stone, but one day it'd all become clear.

"So we've got super vision as Sages, but isn't the big thing being able to kinda sorta turn into the animal? Like fangs and scales and stuff? How do we do that?" Mairusu asked shifting the conversation a bit. He was more than happy to learn about the various abilities that natural chakra afforded Sages but the big draw for him was becoming in tune with their animal counterpart, in this case snakes, and taking on some of their characteristics and being able to do the cool stuff they could do.

The genin struggled to imagine himself growing fangs and scales but if he could move around as fast as one? Woo buddy! In all honesty that was the training he was both most excited and nervous about as it was the stepping stone to all the cool stuff he had heard about Sages while equally being the most dangerous.

It was a lot to consider in the way in which to preserve her own secrets and ensure her safety. But despite this, Miroru had seemed to had a good idea of the concept and had taken some steps in a direction that would hopefully keep her safe. In that, it seemed that she was ready to make her leave, prompting Miho to nod her head with a smile as she waved gently toward the girl. Honestly, she did worry about her, but perhaps that was just her own nature showing. In the end, all she could do was hope that Kami continues to look after her. "Be safe..." In realizing she said this, she'd close her eyes before then looking over her shoulder to look on as Mimiki's student seemed to be getting the hang of it. As the snake would hear the questions, he'd whip his tail lightly to smack the boy's neck, peering at him before then shaking his head. "I was getting to that dummy! Sure...ya can get our features too...but it ain't exactly the first thing that ya should worry about. Hell! Learning how to use natural chakra leads into it! Don't forget it!" Hearing this, Miho would gently rise up as she placed the infants down upon the mat beneath her, walking over toward the two as she tilted her head to the side. "While he may seem angry....don't mind him too much...He simply wishes to make sure you understand that Sage mode is more than just the advantages of the physical..." With her crimson eyes looking at him, she'd hold a smile before then allowing a breath to escape her lips. Perhaps he had gotten a bit too ahead of himself and even though meditation was the name of the game Mairusu was still a kid and kids loved the exciting stuff so he was eager to try and get to that part. Granted, it was cool and all to practice on being able to sense the natural chakra in the area and even be able to kinda sorta sense people way off in the distance but they had been walking and talking for a while now. "Ow, sorry sorry. I've just been working on the meditation stuff for a while now and I just don't see anything changing other than being able to sit really well." The boy replied. He wasn't frustrated but just wanted to know when the next steps were.

With that another voice and presence came into the picture: Miho. She, too, was explaining that the powers they had channeling natural chakra were more than just physical enhancements and to not lose sight of the bigger picture. The woman also spoke on their need to keep the secrets of Sage stuff... well, secret which kinda made sense. They were super powerful and while not everyone had the natural inclination for these abilities just going around telling people about what you could do probably wasn't a good idea. "Right, gotta keep it a secret. Well I guess the cat's kinda out of the bag with Miroru sorta, but it's hush hush to everyone else!" The boy replied.

"What other advantages did you mean, by the way? I've got the weird sensing stuff and... that's about it." Mairusu added. His best guess was that maybe his jutsu would get stronger somehow but had no idea how that could happen.

"Well...that would depend on your teacher....though at some point..I imagine that such things will be more prevalent with time..." Miho would begin to walk around Mairusu, her expression calm as she held her hands behind her back. Keeping her eyes on him, she'd see his desire to learn more, though it was still very much her discretion that was making her less than informative. One could not fill a bowl that was not empty, and the last thing she wish to do was conflict with any information that the current Sage was withholding or awaiting judgement to reveal. "In time...your techniques will also gain strength and added advantage due to your usage of Natural Chakra. Consider it much like a mixture between both elements, creating far more powerful strikes and results depending on the path in which you find yourself comfortable..." Continuing to circle him, Miho would stop short as she pressed her fingertip against his shoulder, indicating his muscle mass as she continue to move around. "Your muscle mass and body structure may also change, becoming more limber and flexible than before...to some lengths, even to an extreme elasticity...this will make you faster and capable of reactions at a rate far from ordinary....though perhaps the most pressing thing that will take hold of you..." From that moment, her expression became more stern as she spoke directly toward him. "If you continue...and you are indeed capable of proving yourself...you may one day possess the abilities of the White Snake...which in a sense...gives you immortality....with the right art..." Mm, depended on his teacher huh? Given how close to the chest the older man kept things there was no telling just how what the boy would be taught or more importantly when he'd begin to learn them. Perhaps the uncertainty was a reason Mairusu was a bit insistent on getting as much knowledge and training out of Mimiki as he could. The genin couldn't summon any snakes on his own yet and asking Yaki questions, while eventually helpful, usually came with the price of an insult or two and there was only so much he could take of that everyday.

Thankfully Miho seemed more than willing to give him some more insight into the other things Sages could do once they learned to control natural chakra and it. sounded. awesome. Being able to sense people and things was cool but hearing that his jutsu would get stronger, too, was too good to be true. Would he be able to summon thunderbolts from the sky or something? What if natural chakra changed the color of his techniques? Maybe a cool purple or black would look nice. "Woah I had no idea it affected my own jutsu. If it really makes it techniques that strong I could probably throw a lightning bolt from here to Kumo." He replied with a chuckle.

The woman would also speak on how his physical attributes would change as well and it kinda sounded like the becoming like a snake thing he had mentioned earlier which made sense yet all that paled in comparison to the final possibility: immortality. "I could live... forever?" The boy questioned. That would definitely give him enough time to become one of the best Sages ever and be super strong but what would be the point if his friends and family weren't with them after all those years? "Hmm, I'll have to think about that one, but all the other stuff sounds super cool." He'd add.

Miho would smile as it appeared that at the very least, it seemed that much of the young man's curiosity had been sated for the time being. Though even she had to admit that the last one had been more than a bit of a temptation when she had first learned of it's possibilities. "Immortality, while seemingly grand in the scale of things within life, has it's price....but that is simply my opinion on the matter..." In the end, Miho would allow her smile to return as she then placed one hand upon her hip as she shook her head. "But those are matters for the sage to discuss with you...not I..." In saying that, the young woman would then watch as the small snake would move itself upward, beckoning for Miho's retrieval as the woman would gently reach for Mairusu's shoulder, taking the creature into her palm before allowing for him to rest once more inside of her pocket. "Much like my sister...if there is anything that you wish to know, I would be happy to share it to the best of my ability...but there are things that each Sage teaches that are different from one another...even if they are of the same clutch.." The boy knew it was a long shot that he would get Miho and Mimiki to help him go a bit further with his sage training and surely enough the woman left that responsibility to the actual Sage, though she did offer to help in any other way that wouldn't overstep the boundary between teacher and (former) apprentice. "Hah, oh well it was worth a shot." Mairusu replied with a chuckle as he watched the small snake return to the care of Miho; something told him it wouldn't be the last time they saw each other.

Still, this had been a better learning experience than he could have ever hoped for today and who would have known that a regular looking woman playing with her kids in the park had been a former sage apprentice? The genin's original goal of just wanting to get more comfortable meditating had been blown out of the water and he'd be leaving here with a greater knowledge of some boons that harnessing natural chakra offered, but it would be up to him and his sensei... and Yaki... to take that next step.

"For sure! I can't thank you enough for all the help today.. and Mimiki, too!" He'd reply with a bright smile. "But uh... I've probably held you up from your relaxing day at the park long enough so I'll get out of your hair. Cya!" A smile and a bow would precede Mairusu running off into the distance. He had learned so much today and needed some time to process it all, perhaps even over a big bowl of ramen.

While he had been tempted by further knowledge, the vague reminder of her new role and the lack of wishing to interfere with the training of another, and her own clear message of such, had been enough to ward the young man off. Still, it was interesting to see the now enthralled apprentice seem to have gained some further progress than what he had come here for. Though the offer for further insight was there for him in the future, should he wish to take it. Immortality is a Grand thing As he decided that he had taken enough for Miho's time, the older female would smile as she bowed back respectfully, watching as he began to make his way back toward the village in a hurry, leaving the mother of two once more within the park. In watching him leave, a calm expression rested on her face, lingering as Mimiki poked his head out from her pocket with a blank expression. "I'm surprised ya told him bout the immortality thing...it ain't exactly something an apprentice should be learnin about..." Calmly, Miho would look down toward the creature, a smile resting lightly on her lips as she released a soft sigh, her hands now in front of her and clasped together like binding. "I imagine that there are many things that apprentices should not know...though to allow them to be lost to time...that would be... counterproductive to a progressive youth...." In saying this, she'd then close her eyes as she remained smiling. "Besides....I have a more clear target in mind....but it helps to have options..." Her tone was serious, though soon becoming more relaxed as she began to make her way back toward the sleeping babes, her body settling back down on the blanket beside them, her hand gently stroking their heads as she began to hum a soft lullaby as she watched them sleep.
