Shouki Clan Ninjutsu NAME: Doku no Nigiri [Poison Grip] RANK: E CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None HANDSEALS: None REQUIREMENT: Shouki Clan DESCRIPTION: A trained member of the Shouki clan may excrete liquid poison from any part of their body at will. This technique is typically used to poison a sword or throwing weapon, and a single usage of poison can be applied to two handfuls of weaponry. When this technique is used in concert with taijutsu, it is even more effective, as any strike which opens a wound can instantly be poisoned. Shouki clan children are expected to master this technique before they even attend the academy. NAME: Doku no Hari [Poison Needles] RANK: E CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None HANDSEALS: One REQUIREMENT: Shouki Clan DESCRIPTION: Based on ancient, long abandoned ninjutsu which utilize a shinobi's blood to attack, this technique is one of the first taught to Shouki clan children due to ease of learning. The user draws their blood from out of their fingernails, crystalizes it into several needles, and projects them forward with enough force to pierce the skin of a target no more than 5 meters away. Unlike more advanced jutsu, these needles are fragile and less dangerous than even basic thrown weaponry. The only advantage of this technique is that the needles may carry the Shouki clan's basic Chi Doku without paying the usual cost in poison reserve charges. NAME: Doku no Iki [Poison Breath] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Very Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None HANDSEALS: Two REQUIREMENT: Shouki Clan DESCRIPTION: With the first handseal, the user gathers a gaseous poison inside of themselves, releasing it violently by completing the second handseal. This creates a cloud of gas up to 25 cubic meters large, in a variety of shapes typically 1 meter high. Aimed at the ground, it can produce a circular cloud 5 meters in diameter. At range, a thin cloud 3 meters across can be directed to engulf a target up to 15 meters away. Finally, by sweeping the breath attack from side to side, a semi-circle 10 meters in diameter can be produced. NAME: Dokujin [Poison Blade] RANK: C CHAKRA USAGE: Low CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None HANDSEALS: Three REQUIREMENT: Shouki Clan DESCRIPTION: The user captures a nearby cloud of free standing gaseous poison which was previously produced by one of their own techniques, such as the Poison Breath jutsu. This cloud is condensed into a liquid poison, then solidified into a medium sized weapon - typically a fuuma shuriken. Upon completion of the final handseal, the weapon is launched with the speed and power of thrown weaponry at a target up to 30 meters away. This technique does not cost poison reserve charges to use, but the cloud can only be transformed into a liquid poison of the same or lower rank and poison reserve cost. NAME: Naibu Doku Ikusei [Internal Poison Cultivation] RANK: B CHAKRA USAGE: Very High CLASSIFICATION: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: None HANDSEALS: None REQUIREMENT: Shouki Clan DESCRIPTION: One of the most important jutsus of the Shouki clan, this technique allows the user to regenerate their poison reserve. Once per thread, by meditating for 30 minutes without interruption, the user is able to set their poison reserve charges to 25. Due to the high chakra cost involved, a soldier's pill is often taken to maintain stamina.
